Good morning, I'm Ed Donahue with an AP News Minute. Iranian state television's English language broadcaster quoted an anonymous official saying Iran has rejected America's 15-point ceasefire proposal. The Trump administration reportedly offered the plan to Iran as the U.S. appears to seek an end to the war, even while more troops head to the Middle East. This is how Speaker Mike Johnson. I think it sends a signal to Iran that they better get their act together. We need to resolve this quickly, and that's the president's interest, and that's ours. It's everyone's. We need the Operation Epic Fury is almost done. I mean, I think the mission that was very clearly defined in the beginning, the objectives have been met. We have to get the straight-of-formers straightened out, and we need our international partners to help with that. Egypt's foreign minister is reacting to Iran's rejection of the ceasefire, saying Egypt will continue its efforts to help bring views from the warring parties closer to reaching a compromise and working out their differences.
