Oil prices are dropping, stocks are soaring.
After the announcement from Iran about the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, it's in
line with the ceasefire in Lebanon.
The Dow was up more than a thousand points.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik says the reopening could be great for the economy.
If you actually have a positive outlook for the future, and you eliminate the risk premium
or dramatically have it, or a 75 percent lower,
the economic growth of the world will demonstrably grow.
Two semi-official news agencies in Iran are casting doubt on the earlier announcement
of the Strait's reopening.
President Trump said on a social media site, the Navy's blockade of Iranian ports remains
in full force until both sides reach a deal on the war.
The 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon appears to be holding the ceasefire in Iran expires
next week.
