So how does Gavin Newsom put it, it's something of, I can't remember the phrase now exactly.

It's not an argument.

It's a fight.

There's a real difference trying to win an argument is one thing.

Trying to win a fight is another thing altogether.

You don't bring a fissaris to a fight.

So I think we're in for more incivility, again, this is my point about how Trump's personality

is not the, in, in all, and be all of an analytical frame.

I think it has consequences to be sure his personality is defects, is moral and intellectual,

administrative shortcomings, have consequences.

But I think it's a system that he's embedded in, which will respond and has been responding

and has a logic of its own that we can only try and perfectly understand.

But I don't think it's a rosier times or ahead of us, I think, quite the opposite.

And this is not allowing for the possibility of violence, of civil disorder, of stuff getting

out of hand and escalating.

So I'm not, I'm not at all optimistic about us getting to higher ground, me either.
