Hey everybody, welcome to the Mark Power Hand Podcast, you can follow me on line by just

So I'm somebody, I love pizza, I've been eating pizza for, I would say decades, pizza
is something where if I was on an island somewhere and somebody said what's the food, one
food that you'd want to bring with you on an island, it's crazy to sound, you know,
it'd be pizza.
And so, you know, it's something where not just, you know, it's just Americans in general,
I think Americans, we consume, I think, huge amounts of pizza, whether it's cheese, pizza,
pepperoni, pizza, like Americans are always buying pizza and it's something that everybody
likes to eat.
But, you know, I've noticed with some of the, I guess the frozen pizzas that you can buy
at the store, you know, maybe it's me, but it seems like a lot of those brands are making
their pizzas smaller and smaller, like I might be wrong, but it seems like maybe it's the
economy or something, but I just noticed that some of the pizzas come in a little bit smaller
size than they did in the past.
It's almost reminds me of like, you know, potato chips, remember back in the days how you
would get a big bag of potato chips and it'd be filled to the top and now when you buy
potato chips, it's like half of the bag is potato chips and the other half is just filled
with air, it's almost that type of thing.
So, maybe it's just me, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm, you know, this is going to be weird
to some people, but it just seems like frozen pizzas that you buy at the store are smaller
than they've ever been.
And I don't know, maybe it's the economy, maybe it's, you know, the price of pizza, maybe,
you know, consumer habits have changed, but it just, you know, it's, it's, it's frozen
pizzas, at least, you know, to me, seem like they're not the size they used to be maybe
10 years ago.
That's just me, but anyway, you know, speaking of pizza, I really like the, I think it's
the Detroit style pizza, it's some, some brand that makes them, but, you know, I've
been eating de Giorno pizza, like cheese, pizza, pepperoni pizza, and now I've sort of,
there's this brand that makes frozen pizza, but it's Detroit style pizza and it's something
that you can put in the oven and it comes in like a little black dish almost and it's
very quick and easy to heat up.
Like sometimes, you know, when you're throwing the pizza in the oven, it'll take, you know,
a decent amount of time.
This Detroit style pizza from this brand and it comes in like a little black dish.
You can throw it in the oven and it's ready like before you can even, you know, finish
watching maybe a television show or something, a short television show like it's, or a YouTube
video or something like it cooks that quick.
And so, you know, it's just very interesting to see that there's so many different, you
know, toppings and stuff and, you know, different styles of pizza and just, it's a whole industry.
It's just amazing to see how, you know, when you really look at pizza, how there's just
so many different varieties of pizza and especially if you're somebody that, as you know, traveled
and stuff like that, each state, you know, makes their pizza a different way.
Americans make their pizza different than maybe somebody in Italy, maybe somebody in Canada
like there's so much variety when it comes to pizza and, you know, some people like a certain
amount of cheese, some people don't.
You know, I'm one of these people where I think I've seen, you know, a TV, have some
people put sardines and stuff on their pizza and I've seen one person put pineapples and,
you know, I can, I couldn't eat something like that.
Like, if you put sardines on my pizza or pineapples, like, I don't know how some people eat
that, but there's people who actually eat, you know, what is it?
Pineapple pizza and they sit up and put all these crazy toppings and stuff like that.
For me, I couldn't do that.
Like, I'm not somebody that likes onions and peppers.
That would like, I don't know.
I don't have the taste buds for that.
For me, I like pizza that's plain, like just plain cheese pizza or I like pepperoni pizza.
And then let's say what I'll put on the pizzas may be pepper, like, you know, the black pepper
that you buy at the store, but, you know, sitting up and putting onions and mushrooms and
all that other stuff, like people do it, but it's too much for me.
And, you know, it's just, it's very interesting to see how, you know, everybody eats pizza.
If you go out somewhere and somebody says they don't eat pizza, you'd probably look at them
like something was wrong with them, like it's one of the foods where it's universal.
Everybody eats it.
The people who eat pizza love pizza and just one of those things.
And so, like I said, I know I'm getting off topic, but in the comment section, let me know
how you feel.
Do you think that the frozen pizzas that you buy at the stores are getting smaller?
Or do you think that, you know, I'm just basically just, you know, just saying stuff.
So in the comment section, just let me know how you feel about what I'm talking about.
Then also give this a like, thank you.
