was a top three or four team in the AFC even in this moment right now.

They're very much so still in that mix.

I think that's the team to beat in the division as well in the AFCS.

Now, the AFC West.

The Oasis.

But Green Day Thru, Billy Joe Armstrong, Tray Cool, all those guys are congratulations to

the sweet 16 grads.

You guys did a nice job at the pre-superbowl show.

They did.

They probably shouldn't have done a half time show, but I don't want to get political.

That would have made more sense.

But in reality,

Well, you think the man you think that's a good one.

I mean, you're not going to get that kind of breakdown anywhere.

He is farting and wafting it into Jim Nance's face,

but he wasn't giving you that.

Although to be fair, I would say he is probably the most difficult

to defend out of the previous ones we named.

I'd rather defend Lempisky than I would Tony Romo.

Even though I think some of the blowback might be too far.

Are the Broncos the best team on paper in the AFC?

They were in the AFC title game.

They gave the Patriots a game without Bonix.

And now they've added Jalen Waddle.

So I still, as much as I like Bonix,

and I'm the one talking about Bonix more than anybody else,

I still think the Drake May Mike Vrable combo

is a lot better than the Sean Peyton Bonix combo.

I agree with that.

What about the rest of the team?

Shot back through it to the other team.

Yeah, no, they're very good, but the Patriots defense,

I think is right there with the Broncos defense.

And so even though the two best receivers

would be both on the Broncos.

But I don't know.

I like the quarterback so much more.

I think he has guys that he can work with right now.

Obviously, I'm holding out hope for AJ Brown,

but let's just say he's not on the team.

I think he can get a good season out of dobs.

I think he can chuck it deep to booty.

I think Hunter Henry, you got the two running backs that they like.

So it's hard for me to say the Patriots are the best team

in the conference because I do think they're going to have a drop

back a little bit from last year.

But I don't think there is a clear cut one team.

So I don't think it is Denver.

I'm not sure who it is right now.

Well, I don't think that's not Denver.

Who is it?

I don't think it's the Patriots.

But like, are the Broncos right now on paper the best team in the conference?

Yeah.

In the North, I don't know.

I mean, the Ravens.

If they had Max Crosby, I'd feel even better about them, but they don't.

I mean, Patriot Hendrixson.

Look, I think they'll bounce back.

Meaning they should be a playoff team again after missing it last year.

I don't think the whole show is going to pick one to win the Super Bowl again.

No, that's what I would take.

I would take the Patriots over the Baltimore.

But that's the thing is, I don't want to say the Patriots are the best team in the conference,

but I also have a really hard time picking anybody above them.

Right?

So let me ask you like this.

In the AFC Patriots are the field.

Oh, field field.

Oh, well, but now you got to name a specific team from the field.

It's hard to do.

It might be the past.

I would, I would say Denver because I think Josh, you know, that's fair.

I think Josh Allen is probably the best player,

but I don't like the bills around them necessarily.

I know they added DJ Moore and they added Bradley Chubb.

The North and the South,

I don't really see anybody there that's like better than the Patriots.

So I get your point on, on Denver.

Don't sleep on my Titans.

I think I was just a year earlier.

I don't, I think with Debal.

You were right about Liam Cohen though.

He turned the Jaguars around.

I also don't, I wouldn't pick the Jaguar.

They were the third team in the AFC.

So look, Patriots.

That's fair, Denver.

Patriots and Broncos last year both had 14 wins.

They both had, I mean, the Patriots had an absurdly easy schedule,

but so did Denver.

And Denver won a bunch of fluky, weird close games

that maybe that'll correct this year.

But they also were hosting the AFC title game.

Their quarterback got hurt.

And now they've added Jalen Waddle to the squad,

who I, I prefer AJ Brown to Jalen Waddle.

But if you asked me this yesterday,

who's the best team in the AFC?

I think I would have said the Patriots.

Then they.

Waddle trade, being in Denver hurt.

I mean, Waddle's a big addition there.

That is their only addition.

That's fine.

All off season, the only person they brought in from outside.

Okay, what did they really need to bring in?

I don't know.

I mean, maybe maybe like another body

yet running back, they resigned Dobbins.

So they didn't make a change there,

but they did bring him back.

Right.

Bring him back all the wrong guys.

Yeah, they're, yeah, it worked.

They're definitely lost.

It worked.

But that, but I agree with you, Nick.

I mean, that's dangerous to just run it back

with your same team, which I guess the Waddle trade

makes me feel a little better about that.

But they get Waddle and they could say

we didn't have our quarterback in the last game.

So it's not like you're bringing back the same team

that just lost the Patriots.

They should, they should feel pretty good about their team.

So, I mean, look, I think right now, if I had to answer it,

and I think it's close.

I'm not saying the Patriots couldn't be Denver,

but right now having to answer it, I would say Denver.

Are you sure they are keeping Sutton?

Like, I was thinking about this yesterday.

Oh, did they add Wally and really Sutton?

Well, I wonder.

I mean, I wonder if that, if that's something

like that could be going on.

Sutton's been rumored for trade for a long time.

Exactly.

And they chose him over Jerry Judy.

And I just, I think it's weird that they'd box out

all their young receivers.

Like they, like Franklin and Pat Brian both kind of looked okay

last year at times.
