Protein is everywhere these days. It's in popcorn, cereal, coffee. I mean, they're adding protein to everything. When it comes to the show, party thinks the same way you do nothing happened. He's got the same question. Where is the story? And the same opinions. Boring. And he's back with Fred on the sports app. Alright ladies and gentlemen, it is that time around the NFL. It's powered by Joyce Cooling and Heating. Football's back time to beat the fall rush. In book your Heating tune up today with over 5,000 five star Google reviews, Joyce is the trusted name for HVAC plumbing and electrical services. For around your home this season, schedule now with JoyceCool.com. Alright Hardy, where do you want to begin? We're going to begin in Houston where Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have not had a lot of lock Josh Allen specifically, but things would change yesterday. Lake Lockdown to 10. Takes the snap back to pass, looking middle now back right, rolling right to buy more time, going to tuck it in run. 2015, 10. Looks to fake out the defender and leaps into the end zone for the touchdown.

Josh Allen, the beast has been released, goes 21 yards to paydarts. That may be the play of the game. Josh Allen, kind of unstoppable in those moments. Yeah, it could be the kindest way of putting it. The numbers are pretty good yesterday. Yeah, you did okay. Yeah, let's see. Josh Allen, 20 of 29 for 334 passing yards. He also carried the ball six times for 23 yards and two touchdowns. So two throwing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns. That is the third consecutive season. He has opened the season with a two passing touchdown into rushing touchdown performance. Yeah, not bad. Bad at all against a Houston defense. That's good. Supposedly one of the best two or three in the league and also explained away a lot of Drake May struggles against them was that it was such a good defense. And now I understand it's week one and things change, but yeah, again, the Drake May and even Mike Reese agrees it's a little patronizing even a Drake May to go.

You struggled against good defenses. Well, now it's a lot of defenses. You know, there's going to be defense. If you play good against terrible defenses, that doesn't mean a lot. You have to play pretty well against good defenses too. And Josh Allen was able to use that. By the way, CJ Stroud, not bad. Until the end of the game, he took some sacks that he probably maybe three receivers to the left. Sorry, you should have avoided, but CJ Stroud looked like a competent quarterback. He did. And Houston absolutely hung around in this game. He had a chance at the end, but as we give a lot of praise to Josh Allen, the Buffalo defense stepping up three receivers to the left. One to the right Stroud in the shotgun takes the snap. Four man rush back to pass. Pressure coming. He's sacked and he fumbled. The bills have the football. Mr. Fourth corner to Real Bernard hops on the football. And that's going to do it here in Houston. The bills are going to win for the first time in 20 years.

Yeah, they've not haven't won in 20 years. 20 years since that last one in Houston. Dalton, concade, by the way, is a tight end. He was up against all pro corners. They had corners on like the all pro corners. Like I know he plays tight end, but they were running defenses where they had all the corners, the big ones. Yeah, we're on him. And he was able to run free. I don't know what got into him yesterday. But he was insane. He was out running guys that on paper are quite a bit faster than him. Can Cain's always been good, but yesterday was different yesterday. I think he was the leading receiver for Buffalo. 130 yards on five receptions. And again, I understand he's a tight end, but these are not there were plays where they were not linebackers on them. They were in defenses where he had the all pro corners on him. And he was able to break free and run away from them, which was very odd to watch. You're like, don't think he gave a good tight end, but tight end shouldn't be out running all pro corners.

And that was the case yesterday, but that was a very good game and a good way to start the season. And if you're some Jamoke without the package without the YouTube package, which by the way, Paramount now apparently according to ads on WFAN, Paramount now has like random games on that you can watch a random one o'clock game. So they keep the incentivizing the idea of getting the package, the NFL package. Yeah, good. So the bills when means the jets are not alone atop the AFC. I did not care for that. But who has the tiebreaker? Oh, the Buffalo's in number. They have Buffalo ahead of New York. I don't know if that's alphabetical, but right now that is what the case is. They have Buffalo number one. There was a time there was about 15 minutes where the jets were alone in first place. Nice. I can't tell you how much I was like Houston take this home. Let's get this baby. Let's get this. Let's get them alone up there.

Well, let's let's take a look at what's going on there in the NFC between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers, a couple of teams on the rise. And maybe you think this was going to be a high scoring game. Did you think it would be the highest scoring season opener in league history? Snackers at 3-1 and the right foot. A banger up in the air with great hang time. Fair catch call for a muffin. It's on the ground covered by the bear 28 yard line. There was so much action on that ball. That was hard to navigate and up with a ball is Katie Davis. There were a lot of action on that ball, baby. Good field position. You got to put a little action on the ball. You got to put a little spin or union it. Always helpful. Snap take from center. Give the manongai out. Blasting up the meta with a way at the 50. But un guy at the 40. But un guy at the 30. But un guy at the 20. But un guy at 10. Monongon touchdown. Common un guy. 61 yard skipper. There's the space you asked for.

So proud he can say manongai. He's the backup Fred. Well, they're not gone. Yeah, they're not a lot of defense in this game. The Andre Swift with 124 yards. Manongai with 100 yards. Caleb Williams with 65 yards. All rushing. Yeah, three touchdowns for Swift too. Yeah, and he's the best. The Andre Swift is the best. Chicago. It was funny. Ben Johnson said I want this to be the highest scoring offense in the history of the NFL. You might want to look at that defense because Bryce Young threw for 361 yards against you. And this wasn't he he racked up all those yards at the end of the game when Chicago was way ahead. This was a close game until Chicago blew it open in the second half. Bryce Young was having some success against that defense. I think we know where Chicago stands this year. This is going to be a Miami Dan Marino type situation. Yeah, absolutely. And much like Josh Allen, Caleb Williams throwing for two touchdowns, rushing for two more.

Ben Johnson, this is exactly what he wanted. Listen, that'll always be the goal is we want to be the highest scoring one that have the most wins. We want him with super balls. We want to say high. That's what we did. He said high scoring first, by the way. Yeah, that's it that's no holdover from his lines. They were going to score a crap. And then we're going to have a lot of other points. Are you going to give up a crap done? Oh, yes. We will give up many, many points, but we're going to score so many. We didn't get into this profession trying to be trying to be mediocre average. And that's every NFL. That is what it is. I can't stand him. You don't think he's any kind of a hard. I do you. I think he's like he he coached under Campbell who's like a justified hard. Oh, because he's a huge guy. And I think has, you know, the ear of the players. And then there's Ben Johnson. Well, you also look at Campbell. I mean, it looks like big pop of pump. He's got the physique and Ben Johnson's like this slim guy. Well, he had been Johnson's like some like like offense nerd. Right.

That is now, you know, acting like he's one of the fellas. I don't care for that. It's highest scoring first. That would bother me if I was a bear's fan. I mean, I would be very excited that my team scored 59 points against the team that was in the playoffs, no matter how shaking they got in. But a team that was in the playoffs last year, but you gave up. I'm not going to love that they gave up 37. No, and I'm not going to love that Bryce Young who's okay. I mean, Bryce Young had an okay year last year. You know, he's a competent NFL quarterback in fairness to him. He's turned into a competent NFL quarterback. But you don't want him going off for 360 and three touchdowns against your year. The Chicago Bears, you know, the town is kind of built on the idea that we got a tough defense. And that's what we're going to do. We're going to stop you from getting in the end zone. Well, I also don't like the idea that then I have to turn around and play the rest of the NFC North with a defense that gave up 37 points to the Panthers.

Because you'll play the lines and that game might be 100 to 150. Because you're playing two teams with little concern for the defense. I got Minnesota this weekend. In Minnesota, Minnesota almost put up 40 yesterday. And with Carson Wencesquare back. I mean, because they just have a genius and they have a genius coach, a genius offensive coach. So Minnesota, when no matter who's on that team, well speaking of geniuses or dare I say super geniuses. Let's go to the other another AFC East team that was in action yesterday. And that would be the New York Jets. After the time out, Gina Smith under center, two tight ends left, Kenyans to beake in motion. Breast hauled the lone setback at the three yard line. Jets week, Kenyans to beake runs left, turns the corner inside the left corner. That's a jet touchdown. Kenyans to beake already making an impact. And the Jets open the season with a touchdown drive.

First time that's happened in 10 years. Yep. Touched out. Yes. First time in 10 years for the Jets. They scored a touchdown on their season opening drive. Well, one of the three rookie first rounders, the play before that was the kid from Indiana. And then he got hurt immediately on that play. He had a 30 yard reception, Omar Cooper, Jr. And this is another thing where I heard a bunch of analysts saying, you know, Robert Sal is a good coach. And, you know, he got a bum deal in New York and he's a good coach. And, you know, I look at the Jets and look, the Jets are terrible. And I thought they probably lose in Tennessee too, because it's just the way they are. And then the game started and it went, oh, you're solid. Who by the way, that Tennessee team has invested a lot in that defense. And the Jets kept the ball. The Jets had a 15 play 11 minute drive in the first half, where they ran the ball 14 times. They settled for a field goal because it's the Jets. Well, they scored a touchdown, but it came back on a hold. But they kept the ball for 11, 11 minutes in change on a drive in a 93 degree day.

They almost had the football two thirds of the game yesterday. Yeah. 39 minutes, time of possession. And Sal is a defensive genius, by the way. 11 first downs for Tennessee yesterday. Yeah, they, and right, and Glenn called his calls the defense now. Look, the Tennessee offense is objectively terrible, but their defense was supposed to be good. Yeah. And Sal is supposed to be a defensive coach. And you should have seen Dave all day, the camera on him, the offensive coordinator for Tennessee. Yeah. And he just had his hand on his face the whole game. Because he had no idea what he was doing. They were ward sucks, that offensive line sucks. That is the worst football team I saw all day yesterday. By far, by far. There's nobody else who's even in the well, sometimes you play a team. Hey, you can only you can only play who's on the schedule. I mean, yeah, I mean, you get, I mean, is it the Tennessee? Tennessee could turn around next week. Tennessee plays someone good next week too.

I think they might play Buffalo. They turn around next week and they kill feel they have the same difference. They turn around. They kill Philadelphia next week. They're at home again. They get to stay home. I'll look at that. In that head. Let me channel my inner Francesca for a second. One, two, three, four, five, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. We're looking at you to do. Six straight losses to start the season for Tennessee if at all. Okay. And the best is when they get the first in the draft if they take a quarterback. Yeah. Because they took Kim Ward two years ago with the first pick in the draft. That's right. And she made the word who wasn't recruited by any schools coming out of high school. Gina Smith giving credit to his past protection after the game. Outstanding. I thought the guys did a tremendous job at giving me lanes to throw through. I don't think I got touched at all out there. And you know, that's always a great sign. I thought we ran the ball well which slowed them down.

And then when we needed to pass the ball, I thought the protection was outstanding. The Jets have a good offensive line. do have. All kidding aside, the Jets have a very solid offensive line and he was not hit yesterday. And Simmons is on that line. That's a good defensive line. And don't you worry about Tennessee and Robert Salah? We got to figure out what we did well, what we didn't do well, figure out where we can get better, figure out how we can put our players in position, be successful, figure out how we can win our 101's when we have them. But it's something that we'll all continue to work and grind on. And like I said, we've got to tell them to the young group, you know, like I've said, it's a young group. They'll get better from it. Yeah. And you should have heard the first question. You think Tennessee is this like small town and like the media is easy on them. The first question is, how do you explain that lifeless performance yesterday? Everything that happened in camp. And then you said it was the first question because the Jets never win, and they're never want to know. So I consumed everything after the game. And I wanted to see

Salah because again, every genius that covers the NFL and knows everything is Salah such a, Salah is a terrible, terrible coach. He's awful. He's going to get fired again. He's going to get fired after this season. And just got there. He just got there. John, they played the Jets. They were awful. That game, if that game could have been 37 to nothing, the Jets gave up the, to touch down the Jets gave up. They let him score. Uh-huh. It was, they had a 17 point lead with like six minutes left in the game. They were like, fine, go. Like just take some time off the clock. They did whatever they wanted. They ran the ball. They kept the ball for 11 and a half minutes in the second quarter. And then I again, tipman from the Jets said, that's the longest I've ever been on the field. He's a guard for the Jets. He goes, it's the longest I've ever been on the field. It was exhausting. It was exhausting for the team. The offense. They gave me, come on. This is a defensive coach with a good defensive line. Yeah.

In all pro on the defensive line, they didn't touch Gino Smith. Gino Smith. He had good pass protection. What's your listening? Yeah. How did David Bailey look? He got to, he looked at the Jets conversation. They, they, they, every, every, he looked good. They all eat a sack. He forced, which isn't saying much because Ward would just run backwards and hold on to the ball. Do you want to talk about how the lines look now? You want to do that next? We'll do it next. Let's take a break. We'll be back in just a moment and continue our little trip around the NFL. Proteen is everywhere these days. It's in popcorn, cereal, coffee. You know what I'm talking about. No idea what you're talking about. Here's more of the thing on the sports hub. Harry, we continue to go around the NFL. Hardy, what's next? The Detroit Lions at home taken on the New Orleans Saints to begin their season up 21 to nothing with five minutes left in the third quarter. Got this game well in hand. No, as the Saints

stormed it back scored three touchdowns forced the game into overtime at 24-24. Lions got the ball did this their first possession of overtime. Goff's going to work out of the gun on second and goal from the four. Jared Leans in. There's the snap back looking throwing. It is caught. He's side to two to the one to the end zone. Touch down Detroit Lions. Amoraz St Brown. Boundstoff and defender got into the end zone put the Lions up 31-24 but the Saints unstoppable in the last quarter and change. March down the field, get into the end zone, decide they are going to go for the win. Trying for the two point conversion. So clocking. He throws to the end zone. In complete. The Lions win it. Yeah, congratulations to Detroit. There was a ball that got fumbled that they called a pass that was

I don't even the Lions were like I don't know how that wasn't a fumble that would have led to a New Orleans touchdown. Yeah, the Lions got a bunch of turnovers. The New Orleans quarterback played like crap for two and a half quarters and the Lions took advantage of the but the Lions weren't doing anything offensively except for Gibbs and they were held and held and held and then they gave the game up and then at the end you got to go for two on the road. If the Lions get the ball back there was like a minute and a half left in the game. They were in it. They were in it. They were in it. They were in it. They would have come back down to field the score and they would have kicked them. They got to go for two there. Yeah, they would have kicked the field goal so they would have won the game but I mean just not a lot of not a lot of defense there in Detroit not a lot of defense there in Chicago. The NFC North is going to be some high scoring affairs. These are going to be AFC games in the 80s. These are going to be like Denver, Miami. Those teams with no defense all offense. Yes, John. We'll let's ask the Lions fan. You have never been a fan of Jared Goffs,

not really. After watching him yesterday, how do you feel about the Lions chances to go deep into the playoffs this year? Not even win the whole thing. Go deep into the playoffs this year. Well, based on, you know, they're in Buffalo week two. So I know. And you're going to need to figure out the defense which they have been able to do for years now. They've there's still operating under the same Ben Johnson system where we're going to try and put up a bunch of points and then we're going to figure out things defensively. They have bodies back on defense that they didn't have last year. And I got to say for Jared Goff, I thought his receivers were not doing him any favors, especially early on in the game. Sam Laporta had a couple of drops. James and Williams had a couple of balls that he absolutely should have caught. So I thought Goff was fine. The call that was overturned where he was sacked. I understand why they overturned it.

But again, common sense will tell you that was a fumble. That was a scoop and score and should have gone the other way. Should have put seven points on the board for the Saints in the first half. Something about the OM already being up and that's considered the throwing motion. So that's a fumble. That's a incomplete pass. The arm was moving forward and it was explained. The arm doesn't have to be moving forward down field. It just has to be moving away from the body. So the fact that the pass was thrown backwards and I used the term pass lightly. It was thrown behind them, but it was still thrown more than it was knocked loose. And what was odd about that is that the ball was out of his hand because it was hit by a defender. His arm was hit by a defender. While he had his arm cocked, but his arm was moving, whatever. At least that was something that they had to review. This was another instant of watching a game on the YouTube package. And then that game's being having something reviewed. So you turn to another game and that

game's having something reviewed and you turn to another game and that game's in commercial. I had the four box going on and I think at that point, you're right, Fred, it was there were two reviews going on. There was the commercial and that lion's game took forever anyway because it went to overtime, but between the reviews and the stopages and the pocket. Oh my god. There was a review in the jet scheme of a ball that was caught. It was caught. Like there was no doubt about it. And then the receivers, Adani Mitchell, slid out a bounds and they reviewed it for like five minutes and they said, Oh yeah, he caught it, but he wasn't out of bounds. There's a 10 second run off, but the jets are going to call a timeout. They reviewed something for several minutes that and they, you know, these idiot announcers that are on the Z team don't know what the hell they're reviewing. They don't know the rules. They're like, oh, it's like, no, we caught like the guy caught the ball. Like, okay, they're obviously reviewing something else.

But in that crap game, they had to spend five minutes seeing if 10 seconds was going to run off the clock. Which ridiculous. There's got to be a tipping point. I do love the NFL and I love the Sundays and I love that it just started again, but there's got to be a tipping point where they go, the pace of the game is the pace of the game is even made a comment. I'm like, you know, people talk about baseball being boring at least something's always going on. At least there's very few moments where nothing's happening. Yeah. And the challenge is take two seconds. Oh yeah, I mean, they got that thing that things razor sharp. I told you guys, I saw that in spring training two years ago. I said, that's nothing. Yeah, it takes two seconds, but I mean, it an a lot of times sitting around. Let's let's go to Pittsburgh where the Steelers were hosting Cooper Russia and the Falcons. And it's not just the Steelers. It's Aaron Rogers, baby. Rogers in the shotgun at three receivers to the left, one to the right.

Surveying the field gets a snap back past looking, rolling out to the left, rolling, looking fires back at the end zone. Touchdown, Pat Friar move for the Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown. What's the Steelers up 13-7 in the second quarter? They would be nursing that 13-10 lead in the fourth quarter and up stops, up steps, TJ Watts gets a snap back to pass. Looking throws out to the right. And pick up my TJ Watts, left up, make the grab, gets back at his feet. TJ Watts rumbling in, Frisk Burst career touchdown. TJ want for the Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown. That's not just electricity that Watts bringing into the left for Houston. Oh, see, see, the understand his name is what? I believe that is now, TJ Watts is at the 100 sacks and 10 interception mark for his career. I believe that's correct. Two sacks,

three tackles for loss. He had the turn of it. He had the turnovers touchdown, a couple of quarter back hits. He was everywhere yesterday. But the Pittsburgh offense, not good, not good at all yesterday. They gave up, but Pittsburgh gave up more first downs than they had to Cooper rush. They only had 15 first downs and about 260 yards of offense. They were not good, not good at all. They won because Atlanta's really bad. Yeah, and Aaron Rodgers threw the ball 40 times, which I didn't watch any of this game. I could have cared less about it. But when I saw that he threw the ball 40 times, I wonder how many of those recalled rushes that he changed at the line. No, Aaron Rodgers is famous for his quote unquote genius reading of defenses that turns into him, him throwing the ball on every play through the ball 40 times for 220 yards. Yeah, he loves to throw the ball. He loves to call it to switch out of running plays to throw throw the ball, especially to the friends of his

that he likes. Yeah, like if you get if you get Adams on your team, the Onte Adams, the Vanthe Adams on your team, he'll just feed the Vanthe Adams. Regardless of success and piss off everyone else on the offense, if the Patriots can get anything going on offense this Sunday, they win easily. Oh, yeah, oh, yeah, the Patriots defense is pretty good. I don't see Aaron Rodgers having any success. What did he have to say, though, the quarterback about the team? Yeah, we were a little bit just a little bit off, but they got a good scheme. They didn't bring a lot of pressure. Rex has kind of set back in his defense and it's good to be out of here. One and all, though. Here's how crappy the world is. We made fun of Aaron Rodgers because he was talking about how he is fiance wanted to bang another guy before they got married. He felt the need to go into this whole thing because of all the controversy around him and his nobody ex-wife from a couple years ago. And we were making fun of that and I got a guy goes, hey, I remember you saying things about the

the COVID vaccination and then you went away for three months, which I suppose he means the three weeks in rehab in 2020. And then he goes, I think that you were indoctrinated. There's so many things about that are so stupid. First of all, who said anything about the dumb vaccine thing that he did? I don't care if he took the vaccine or not. How is the vaccine in your head that much? That that's still in your head so much that anyone that criticizes anyone, that that's the main point in your life that you walk around with from 2020 about who didn't take the vaccine. And when was I going? Three months. You were gone for a couple of months and I do think you've been indoctrinated. So a couple months I was out with the throat. I think he's talking about the rehab. Well, you're doing COVID. Yeah, but your first rehab you went there and it was during the COVID and then you were like there for two weeks and you like couldn't go or something. That's not what happened. I was in the rehab for a day and then the guy in my room got a COVID got COVID. So I took

a week and then I only went to the other rehab for two weeks. Well, maybe why didn't stick that time? Well, why when were you in the rubber room? Well, that was what you referred to as the rubber room. Yeah, well then, then, and then I was in a detox three and a half years ago. The puzzle factory. I mean, that's you could call either one the puzzle factory. There was a lot of self work, a lot of self work. Crystal guy with the crystal tone. He was going out to do any raky. I'm sure that put you right to sleep the raky. Yeah, no, they had a guy with the crystal that literally put a crystal over his bomb, but but it was just so like what? You're still on the vaccine thing. So no Aaron Rogers said a bunch of dumb crap other than his lying about the vaccine. I don't care if Aaron Rogers took the vaccine at all. I can't tell you put me on 17 line detectors. I can't tell you how little I care if Aaron Rogers took the vaccine. He was immunized. That's what he said.

Just keep it 100. That's what I'm saying. Just keep it 100. No, you can hear him talk and then I got a guy. This is more of a because I made the point. Bread Farves a worse human being than Aaron Rogers, but yet bread Farves still loved in green Bay and Aaron Rogers is hated. And the guy from green Bay's they're absolutely right. Somehow, despite breaking the law, all the sex crap that bread farve and the taking pictures of his penis and send it to the ladies that worked for teams in New York and all this stuff and ruined in their careers. Well, he kept going defrauding the state of Mississippi. He's still beloved in green Bay, but Aaron Rogers through his talking has somehow made himself just his mouth, just his mouth has made himself hated by everyone. And if you think it's only COVID or COVID, even his a part of it anymore, it's a very small part. It's his need to speak as if everyone is constantly thinking about him. Oh, in his theories on everything. He's got a theory on everything that everyone needs to hear.

And by the way, he was taken advantage of by Pat McAfee. Pat McAfee essentially put someone who's mentally deficient on his show and let him talk for an hour and paid him a million dollars. But McAfee didn't know that he was doing that. He just thought he was making good teams. Maybe I'm telling you, there might be a part of him that's genius. Uh, quickly. Look in pretty genius in Baltimore Ravens. Looking pretty good yesterday. Daniel Jones, screen left, to Taylor at the numbers. 35, 40 Taylor up to the 45. Y'all. Look at that. Look at that. Maryland Hooked, pre-dropped on top of it. Did he hold on? The Ravens deepens think they have it and they do. And then the offense was doing their part. Now they're on the doorstep. We're trying to close this out. Turn it again. Henry works outside. It's a fundraising. He'll win it. The third touched out of the day for Derek Henry. It's a King's hat trick in the Ravens. Find the ins on again. Is that like a devil's threesome? Yeah. A King's hat trick. All right. So,

31, 23 Ravens get the win over the Colts in a game. People were shot. A lot of people thicken the Colts. Outright, those certainly thought it'd be a close game. It was not. All right. So we'll be back in just a moment here on the headlines. The Ravens Protein is everywhere these days. It's in popcorn cereal coffee. I mean, they're adding protein to everything. You've been aggravated since we turned the mic. I don't know what it is. I don't have time to think about that. We're not cheering hard. It's ridiculous. We are toucher and hardy. Drake made plate poorly on last Wednesday. And Matt McCarthy rightly called him out on Thursday on Felger Maz. He was filling in for Maz and then he got a lot of crap. And he came on on Friday and he wore a I love Drake Meshert. And he gave in a quote unquote apology. I have heard from you and I want to say that I'm deeply sorry for my words yesterday about Drake May. I've heard from youth Savannah in it.

Break my heart to have to send this correspondence in the middle of this terrible war. Everything he says reminds me of like a letter from Ken Burns' Civil War coming from the catheter see. I've seen so many fallen soldiers. My dear lord you boys are out there fussing and fine where I'm just getting this white suit all miss it. Come on sit a spill have yourself a mint you a little bit of paste of cobbler. How about a cold drink? You know you boys out there fussing and a fight in this civil war. How about you have yourself a little glass lemonade. Cool off for a second let's take a break. Tom out. I have heard from you and I want to say that I'm deeply sorry for my words yesterday about Drake May. I understand that you are soft and I do not creep. You go y'all are soft. Soft is charming.

Soft is the cotton growing in the fields out here that's making this whole place run. You guys are soft. Y'all bunch of weeps. I love McCarthy. Y'all soft. Let's just say it out it is. Let's just cut to the marrow. Y'all soft. Y'all stink. Y'all run around like ooh my feelings are hurt. No way. You stink. I understand that you are soft and I do not create a safe space in my commentary for a quarterback. I ain't no safe space when I come with some McCarthy. I'm coming at you raw. Doesn't know where to hide. I'm here. What you looking at? There you go. That scared you. Got my fangs out. Who threw three interceptions in the fourth quarter and lost a drew lock. I understand that Drake is a protected class. Anytime you do something.

Y'all a protective class. I don't even think our votes count. Y'all be jerrymandering all over the place, making it impossible for any change. I'm sorry I had to have a sip of this before I went nuts. That Brock Purtie did in 2023. I think we just have to acknowledge how special that truly is. What I said yesterday was hurtful. You know what's else is special. You know what else is special? This lamp that my grandmother left me. Tiffany. Just take a time out. Let's just talk about things that are special. Air looms. Calling him the schedule merchant hurts. Questioning his clutch gene hurts. They called him a person merchant because he was shipping people all over from Africa.

Human trafficking. Adam Bell himself. I'm playing the character. That's what was going on. Grandad, I made a mint. By pointing out the Drake May sucks, I have not only hurt our business here at the station. I have harmed small businesses that rely on selling these I-Hart Drake May t-shirts. I have even hurt Foxboro public schools who get a percentage of the ticket sales soul at Gillette Stadium. Grandad, he never sent me to public schools. He sent me to the academy where I learned not to be soft. Made me hard. In the dorm with all them boys, rough house and whatnot. We had a scuffling. We had a headmaster that ruled with an iron fist. I said, you boys cut it out. I got what I first got there. I said, y'all play too much. You're all messing around and getting all dirty. Clean name bridges.

You're all rolling around like so many pig pans. Got stink to you. Real masculine smell. I don't mind a mouse. I hate you. You're all stink. You boys play too much. You're all play too much. So I was not thinking of the children when discussing the quarterbacks mediocre play. If I'll think of the children, I'll think of the children. Bernice's children out there while you're cussing and taking the Lord's name. If Drake may sucks, the children have no future. The Patriots have no future. And we have no future. And calling him by his new name Drake. Which I actually like. I think Drake. Is a decent term of phrase. That's not bad at all. Not bad.

I do like the Drake. That hurts our community. I've come to realize the error of my ways. And I am truly deeply sorry for the harm I have inflicted on our community. By criticizing the quarterback. I hope someday you can forgive me. Thank you. You sound like the great general Jefferson. I think he's being sarcastic. He's getting fresh. Well, the whole thing is just the big old fresh pot of nothing. Fresh pot of nonsense, a non-apology, a non-starter. Use that quill for nothing. Just to ride a bunch of jokes. Anyway, when McCarthy gets angry, it's very funny. And then it makes sports radio fantastic. The comments on Drake may made people so mad that there had to be a sarcastic apology the next day. Like it had built itself up into a rancor. To which he had to address the next day. This is delicious. That is. Y'all make this with sugar from wire.

Who's recipe? I'll be fresh eggs. These ain't store bought. Let's put it that way, honey. This ain't stufers. But I love when that stuff like that happens. When there's a big sports kerfuffle. Yeah. And everyone's getting all crazy. People are online, getting all pissed off. And then the host holds it, starts replying. Then it blows up the next day. Time for a sports debate. We can't have those. You got to come correct with the sports debate. You got to have your encyclopedias in tow. But there you go. Congratulations to McCarthy. You do a good job. Got everyone all wound up. Bob Soci tries to keep everything even keeled. He will be on with us in just a moment. This podcast episode is brought to you by Progressive Insurance.
