The Artemis II rocket has started its slow roll to the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center
in Florida.
This massive vehicle will carry Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen and his crew on a flight
around the moon.
Rollout kicked off early Friday morning, just a bit late due to strong winds.
NASA teams say the journey should wrap up in about 12 hours.
Kennedy Hansen, from London, Ontario, steps up as mission specialists.
He'll make history as the first person from outside the United States to venture beyond
low earth orbit.
The mission hits snags back in February from hydrogen fuel leaks and helium system glitches,
pushing things back.
Now it's locked in for launch on April 1st.
Artemis II marks the first crew lunar trips in Apollo 17 and 1972, paving the way for
deeper space exploration ahead.
