So dear brothers and dear sisters Ramadan Mubarak to everyone.
Today we are going to speak about something for those who've attended the Majlis, they'll have an idea.
But for anybody who's new, this is a way of understanding how to practically use the names of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
The 99 names that we're always talking about.
And when Allah says that Allah has 99 names call on to him with them.
And the Prophet ﷺ said that Allah has 99 names.
He actually has more than that, but these are a package of 99, the famous ones.
Whoever preserves them, they enter jinnah.
But we're going to discuss this with you.
The famous ones, whoever preserves them, they enter jinnah.
But we're going to discuss how to practically use them.
One way to use them is that you can just in your door take all of those names.
And sometimes I do that.
But we're talking about how to use them in particular, which one to use for what occasion or what need.
That's what's important.
What to use for what need.
And this is the really important.
This is a very unique coverage of these names, of how to use them.
And Mashallah, we've had a lot of feedback of people using them for those particular needs or other relevant needs.
And Mashallah, they're being accepted.
So today, the name that we're looking at is name number 68, a summit.
It's a very, very powerful name.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says in Qulhu Allah, I had Allah who's summit.
What exactly does a summit mean?
Summit means quite a few things.
Summit is one of the very powerful unique names of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, which means,
the one who is eternally, meaning always being self-sufficient.
He's never needed anybody.
He's always self-subsisting, which means that he's always been able to just survive himself.
He is self-sufficient.
He doesn't need anybody.
We are always in need of others, so that's self-sufficient.
He also means the eternal, who's always been there like that.
The absolute and the eternal refuge.
That means that while he is not in need of anyone else,
everybody else is in need of him.
So he's not in need of anyone else.
And that's what summit means, that he's not in need of anyone.
But everybody is in need of him.
Now that we've discussed the name, let us discuss ten ways of how to use them and where to use them.
Number one.
If a person just wants to reflect.
So some of these names you can use them to just reflect.
Just call on ya, summit, ya, summit, and just reflect over that name.
Sometimes we use them to ask for what's relevant to that name, the characteristic that's relevant to that name.
And you'll pick it up.
So firstly, for deep reflection.
During moments of deep thought, reflection, introspection, and meditation,
a person could be saying, ya, summit, ya, summit to connect with the eternal nature of Allah to seek inner peace and comfort and solace.
So when a person just wants comfort and solace and peace, ya, summit, who's always been there, you assist me in that regard.
Number two.
When somebody is in financial hardship, this is a very interesting one.
When a person is in financial hardship, when facing financial difficulties, call ya, summit, ya, summit, ya, summit.
Because remember, the summit is the one who everybody is in need of and he satisfies everybody's need.
So why won't he satisfy our need?
Ya, summit, satisfy my need.
I am in need because I am in debt.
I am in financial straits.
Ya, summit, the satisfy of all needs to provide sustenance and ease their monetary problems and wars.
There's other names, ya, rani, ya, murni, ya, wahab.
These are all relevant as well to this.
Number three.
When somebody feels overwhelmed.
Allah is there looking after everything.
He doesn't get overwhelmed.
Ya, uduhu, hevduhumah.
Wahoola, ala, ala, alaimah.
Sometimes some trouble comes to us.
A difficulty comes on us.
And we get overwhelmed.
So ya, summit.
In times of feeling overwhelmed or stressed.
Ya, summit, ya, summit.
Give me strength.
Give me some of that strength.
Give me some strength.
Believing that turning to the eternal will insha'Allah bring everlasting.
There's Allah is the eternal so it will insha'Allah bring everlasting really for us.
Number four.
Seeking independence.
Let's just say that we are very much in need of others.
We're very dependent.
We can't stay away.
We want to gain some independence.
We want to essentially do things ourselves, stand on our own feet.
So seeking independence.
If somebody feels too dependent on others and is getting difficult whether that be emotionally, financially.
They may invoke ya, summit.
Ya, summit.
Ya, summit.
To ask Allah for the strength to be self-reliant and self-sufficient.
We're never going to be fully self-sufficient.
We're always going to need Allah.
But at least we can tell Him, Ya Allah, I don't want anybody else.
I only want to rely on you.
Ya, summit.
Ya, summit.
Ya, summit.
In fact, as we sit and listen to this, you could be using these and calling on to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as we're listening.
Number five is during decision making in a business.
A business person, unsure of making a significant decision.
Sometimes you have to make a big decision.
Should I buy that new franchise?
Should I buy that new venue?
Should I start this new product?
Should I take this deal?
Do I go into this new market?
Call on ya, summit.
Ya, summit for guidance.
Trusting that Allah, the eternal and the satisfy of all needs,
will direct them towards what is most beneficial.
So it's almost like assisting in an istihara.
Ya, summit.
Like asking Allah for help.
Ya, summit.
In moments of loneliness, who better to call on ya, summit?
Feeling isolated or alone.
I believe I might find comfort by remembering a summit.
A summit knowing that while people may come and go,
sometimes people who always help us, they get tired.
They become in need.
They are busy.
Ya, summit.
Ya, summit.
Ya, summit.
You are never in need.
You always help the needy one.
Number seven is health issues.
You can even use ya, summit for health issues.
Facing a health crisis.
Significant disease, disability, problem.
One may in ya, summit, hoping that the eternal and self-sufficient Lord will grant them health and well-being.
And number eight.
Somebody does not know what the purpose of life is.
What their purpose in life is.
The purpose of life is clear.
But they don't know what their purpose in life is.
I'm just stumbling around, sometimes I'm here, sometimes I'm there.
I'm not sure what I want to do in my life.
I'm just uncertain.
I'm so committing, I can't commit to anything.
Ya, summit.
If somebody feels lost and without purpose,
ya, summit seeking direction and meaning in life.
Because Allah SWT has been self-sufficient and independent in that way,
from the beginning and he'll remain like that all the way.
So we're asking him for some stability and focus.
In relationships, number nine is relationships.
If someone feels that they're relationship,
or any relationship is becoming too codependent,
they might invoke ya, summit, to ask Allah to make the bond a healthy one,
rather than a codependent one, where I have to help them.
The other one that we did earlier was, I'm too dependent on others.
This one is others are too dependent on me.
But let's have this healthier relationship,
because I can't always fulfill their needs,
reminding themselves and their partner of the true source of self-sufficiency.
You can even get the other person to do the word of ya, summit,
and ask the summit to create that assistance and help.
And lastly, I mean, again, this is not lastly,
these are just the ten that we have.
I'm sure in your mind there will be others,
and feel free to share them as well.
Professional projects, when undertaking a significant project,
other than business, it could be anything, or initiative at work.
An individual may invoke the ya, summit, ya, summit,
to ensure that their efforts align with the eternal values
and bring about lasting benefits.
Because sometimes new projects may take us into unknown territory,
we may have to compromise on our morality, on our values,
and this way is like, ya, summit, do not allow this to go off track,
allow it to be on track, and with the right kind of values maintained.
There's ya, summit, may Allah bless us.
Ya, summit, bless us.
