Hello and good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to this week's new episode of X vlog live. I'm your host, Mr. Boostick XL, and I am seated here with the man. Of course, you know him as fun speculation. He has one of my favorite channels. Listen to why because it's always fun and it's and it, you know what, it's in the name, but hey, Matt, welcome back brother. Thanks so much for joining me today. Super appreciated. Yeah, man, I always good to be back here over at double barrel gaming with the one and only Mr. Boostick. I know it's been lots of news finally, you know, for us to talk about the last couple of weeks. So, you know, there was like that big lol after summer showcase when there's all the negativity started arising again and then now there's just nothing but excitement except for people that are trying to twist positives and the negatives.
And I'm sure we'll get into that as well, but it's great to be here, boom, and hello to the chat. And let's let's have some fun, man. Yeah, I mean, listen, at the end of the day, that's why we do this, right? Like we come out here and we put, you know, our own personal lives on the side, whether that be, you know, just, you know, being a husband or being a dad or being an uncle and, you know, or playing games, which I don't get a chance to do as much, but I love doing this. I love podcasting. I love talking about video games and more importantly, I really enjoy this community. This community on a tip of spear when it comes to any of most of most of our community is kind of similar, man, like the same people that are here right now are usually watching you live. And I love the fact that, you know, all of these, you know, this, this, the all of these community members do support us, you know, they support some of the smaller YouTubers and I absolutely love it. But look, chat, ma'am, we got to get into one of two big topics today.
And the first one we're going to open up with is one of my favorite things to talk about. And that's Halo. Look, there's a lot I have to say about this. We have some new information from Rebs gaming, who by the way, has been absolutely on point with his reporting regarding what's happening at the now Halo studios. You've heard me say this before I don't really know and I can't put my thumb on what's wrong with the studio. I can say from my heart, it feels like there's it's a dysfunctional family. They've had people come in and leave people that work there that were fired people that work there that will let go. I don't know what's going on in Halo studios, but the one thing that I have to immediately say is I have lost confidence in the brand of Halo. And it's not because it's not a great brand. It is a pillar, ma'am, of what keeps Xbox of flow. It's one of the four major pillars that keeps up the brand. Unfortunately, Xbox in the last.
I don't know five to seven years hasn't really treated it like that. You know, you go back to the beginning of this generation and one of the biggest missteps was in 2020 when Halo Infinite was supposed to be a launch title for the Xbox series X and S and guess what it was on the freaking box. They had deals with Taco Bell. They had master chiefs face on Facebook. They found the cans and guess what happened. The game was delayed. So millions upon millions of dollars was just completely wasted. Now look, I know there's going to be somebody in the chat that says, yeah, well, you know what, I didn't like Halo Infinite. Well, if that in fact is the case, I'm not going to fight you wanted. It's one of my favorite in the series. That is not even a question. The multiplayer, if you haven't played it, get out there and play it. Now granted, it's not being supported with updates, which is a shame.
And leads me why we're talking about Halo to open up the show, but math you and I are Halo guys. So, you know, I sent you some information and what I want to do is I want to read it, rebate them, right? So now again, just for clarity, this report does come the way of Rebs gaming. I know Rebs personally. He's been on show a couple of times. We talk in DMs all the time. I not only trust his work, but I believe that he is out there trying to put his best foot forward for the brand that he loves. Now I will say this and I've said this before and Rebs has heard me say this. Sometimes, even though I appreciate his tenacity, sometimes Rebs does seem like he's piling on. And I don't know whether he agrees with me or he doesn't, but I will say that as just being honest. Well, thanks to Idol Sloth, who has been unbelievable with his reporting, not only in 2026, but just on a regular basis.
Like he did some really incredible coverage during Gamescom. And while he's back once again to make it very digestible for us as a podcast to use the information that comes the way of again, Rebs gaming. And he goes on to say this, mav, Roma. Halo studios has been working on a new quote, pre-green lit multiplayer project. And here are the three bullet points that has me very excited. One, there's apparently going to be a big announcement at Halo Fest this year. Okay, I would imagine that it could be the multiplayer, but I'm going to temper my expectations. Here's bullet point number two, mav. They are planning to remake Halo 2. And that has me excited through the moon because quite frankly, I ran through Halo campaign evolved for Fingertimes. I have over 80 hours in that game, and it doesn't have multiplayer. That's how much I loved it. So if they're going to do two, that means they're going to do my all time favorite three and a grown man will cry live on camera because I can't wait. But here is the next one.
This has me disappointed. And according to Rebs gaming, the next mainline game, unfortunately, is years away. And that kind of sucks. Now he goes on to say this and he has an asteris here folks. So he does define what pre-green lit equals. And according to, of course, idle, sloth, it's not approved for full production yet still conceptual and in the prototype stage. So that actually bothers me a bit because what I mean, listen, it's Halo. Now Gears coming back in a big way. We all know it. We all saw it. Some people have played it. We all played the multiplayer. Yes, please, right. Forza Horizon 6, racking up the players, racking up the sales. One of the best racers in the series hands down. Babel. Oh my God. The 18 minute, you know, game play clip. Incredible. Halo, Banger. The last one drag in the long. And that's the one that started it all back in 2001.
And the one that is Halo, and it does feel like master chief is the red headed stepchild of the four bigs. I don't, I don't get that. And I will say this. I know Xbox folks listen to the show. You guys and gals over at Redmond should be ashamed yourself to let Halo get this this far into the basement. But with all of that said, we have a quote from Asha Sharma, which I'll read after mav gives us his spiel. Mav, what do you thoughts on the recent reporting from brebs gaming regarding the, you know, quote on quote dysfunction. Halo studios, will they ever be able to get it right? And what do you thoughts on the new report that they're they are working on something? Yeah, it's. I see that it here to the dysfunction stuff all the time, but like we've had reports at multiple studios in the past about dysfunction. I remember way before red dead to launch there was all this reports about this massive dysfunction going on at rock star and all that kind of stuff, right.
Then we got one of my favorite games of all time, you know, that being said, there is a lot of things. Obviously that have happened at Halo studios, formerly free for three. But I don't know how much of those things impact the development or not the latest things was here, Heinz obviously in his kind of like dictatorship mentality and kind of fitting friends up on pedestals and all that other kind of stuff. But I don't know how much that is true or how much of it actually plays into the end result of what we get. What I do know is we haven't gotten enough Halo content in the last decade. We've had we've had Halo five last year this year, we had Halo infinite and that was already almost five years now. And then the last thing we got was the remake of the original campaign, which is a second time we've had like a remaster slash remake of the campaign and you know for like Halo die hard or people that love Halo like Halo is my number one franchise. It's just not enough, you know, and I think the biggest sentiment that I think fans have of Halo and I know that Halo fans are the hardest to please out there.
It's just that where Halo came from being at the top of gaming, being like everybody's trying to make the Halo killer being you know everybody's talking about Halo, having the biggest launches like in the history of gaming at the time. These monumental things that happen everybody remembers those days of Halo. If you're in your maybe late 30s are going into your 40s and stuff of how big it was for that crowd back then. And to see kind of where it's at now. And you know struggle to kind of find its place among the other mainstream black hole games and all this other kind of stuff. The most frustrating thing for me is we want to see Halo raised up again to that prominence and big former fashion and and I think part of the problem has been they've had so much weight put on 343 slash Halo studios to where it's been like all the eggs are in one basket. You know, and you're trying to deliver something that's going to be a masterpiece for all Halo gamers of you know whether you're a Halo 2 guy or a Halo 3 guy or maybe Halo Reef was your favorite or maybe you're you like forge or maybe you like firefighter maybe you like the campaign or maybe like split screen co-op or maybe you like you know online co-op they're trying to deliver everything to what everybody wants whether you like sprint or whether you don't like sprint.
I mean modernize it. Don't modernize it. A million different things people ask for that there's no solution. And if you put all your eggs in one basket in one game every five years. It's ultimately not going to be able to prop up that franchise instead you're going to have this this sentiment between the fans and all this other kind of stuff. The answer really needs to be to release the shackles and open up the IP get more different teams working on different projects to expand the universe to be what it really always was meant to be. This is something more than a one game every few year franchise. This is something that should transcend gaming it should transcend media should be all over the place. And I don't necessarily just put the blame on three for three or Halo studios or the what's going on there. I put the blame is like the whole weight of this massive franchise is too much for just any just one studio to me right.
And you look at what Activision did to prop up Call of Duty they had. Originally is infinity ward okay then then you get triark involved okay then you got to have Raven involved you got to have a sledgehammer games involved you know they know now we got to have all these support studios doing all those different things. And it's you saw what they're able to do to prop call a duty up over the last you know 20 years to be what it became and what Halo is still trying to continue the story every few years and then it became every five years and then now it's now we don't even know when the next main line Halo is right now there's no there's no idea we this one announced it's been five years since the last main line Halo game came out. And we still don't have a new Halo game announced that's not a remake of the originals that was more kind of like a test about unreal you know so I don't know about just the term oil going on there but it just seems like overall as a IP as a franchise it's just been not handled properly to prop it up to where it needs to be and I think asha.
Made that clear when she made her original reset post about we spread ourselves to thin our biggest franchises have been underfunded I think Halo is part of that you put in all your eggs in one basket again is is not the way to go because you're always going to have problems especially with game development these days I think I think they're going to be some cool things coming I think Rebs gaming support. Of a possible new multiplayer game is getting announced would be something that's a positive because you know we're itching for Halo multiplayer. But I don't think it can I don't think it can stop there I think this needs to be kind of a double down investment to different studios different let other teams work on stuff and it kind of tells some different stories man you know so well first of all again Grand slam mav great to have you. I think I'm going to be back in the seat because you knocked it out of the park but you obviously we've worked together before and you know one of my biggest things about being a podcaster is evidence based conversation you've heard me say this numerous times I like stats like numbers I love the written word when it comes to articles especially from you know creators like Rebs gaming who I trust personally right well I have a bunch of information here for you and I'm going to ask you to walk with me on a screen.
Because at the end it'll all make sense let's just start off mav and chat with how many employees Halo studios has right now this of course is the updated amount it is subjective because it does give us a range but after all of the official layoffs and some of the employees that will move the round right now today Halo studios has between 200 and 350. I don't have the exact breakdown of developers to in house personnel what they do but I know that the number is 200 to 350 okay awesome right but what I want to kind of just bring this up this this look I do a lot of research and sometimes I come across something that I'm like are you kidding me you know you mentioned something very specific about what I should say about spreading themselves to thin now that mean in investments maybe that mean development of games possibly well just for shits and giggles I looked up how many studios outside of Halo studios were involved in bringing us what I believe it could be a game of the year contender for remakes in Halo campaign evolved check this out
there was chat a total of 15 external studios that help develop Halo campaign evolved working alongside its mainly developer Halo studios and here's what the document that I have in front of me says development breakdown the project was led by Halo studios but they outsourced specific parts of the games creation to external support teams game credits show that 15 different external studios contributed to the final product now I it's a long list folks I don't want to come up the podcast so what I'm going to do is I'm going to make a video out of this and of course I'll bring up the visual evidence so you can see all 15 studios but I mean that's a lot right like 15 studios to help make a remake like look I don't know what's going on but that makes you kind of scratch your head a little bit about leadership now what's interesting is something that during the BBC interview from last week I have it here this is the big quote folks and this has me incredibly encouraged
mav I believe like you said Halo is an important franchise it is in my opinion the important franchise because it's a pillar it started Xbox back in 2001 and it should be a major player in multiplayer even going up against the black hole games known as free to play it should have a place in the same same room as Call of Duty fortnight Marvel rivals you know apex legends any of your favorites it should be there it deserves to be there it has earned it's placed to be there and unfortunately Xbox took a shit on it I don't mean to be gross or anything but that's exactly what it is they have a while this brand to literally limp in to the next generation
well thanks to Asha Sharma I have a quote from her that tells me that is no longer going to be the case here's what she had to say on the Halo on the Halo franchise quote the thing I've learned about great games is that they have a long history and legacy and we can look at them from a long term perspective I'm confident that Halo plays a really important part it's a major franchise so I'm focusing on that and will have more news to share about the future of Halo and quote math that's encouraging again there was another quote I don't I'm not going to bring it up I'll bring it up for visual evidence but in the same interview he had confirmed that they currently have meaning Xbox Microsoft 3 billion dollar franchises annually now we talked about that in the other video that I did that's a lot well according to Asha
he wants five to six in total going upwards of eight you know she literally said we should have in the coming years a total of six to eight billion dollar franchises mav in my heart of hearts and maybe I'm being a bot here and I'm okay with that I think Halo could be one of those I absolutely do in closing of this topic what do you thoughts on some of the things that I just brought to light yeah like when I was mentioned before like Asha I think the whole mentality that she has is when she's took over Xbox it's become kind of a platform first mentality as opposed to just reaching out to try be as many places as possible which is kind of what the mentality was before had as many things as possible reaching out cast a wide net the her mentality is about strengthening the value and the proposition of the platform and in order to do that I think she's putting more weight on the franchises that they have and that are the biggest draws so you see the reinvestment into fallout you know you where that she's like doubling down we need to get more fallout stuff out there right
and I think that's going to carry over to some other things too you know as well besides just that and Halo I think will be one of those now it's at a place where it's kind of been it's had projects go on and they've been canceled they've had this because we've had rumors about Halo stuff battle royale or this or that for years now and none of it's come to fruition we you know infinite was supposed to be a 10 year type game with ongoing content all the time we're going to be in the game with the game that stuff was thrown out you know that there's been turmoil for the last five years going on regarding the development of Halo or what projects or green litter what aren't or what's going to get announced what's canceled and I think they're at a place where it's kind of a unfortunately within the reset itself I think Halo is at a place where it's probably in that same almost starting point where you do have one studio
that is capable of making Halo content with with Halo studios I think getting other teams internally on board to make Halo projects is something they're going to be having to kind of onboard and invest in I think that's going to take some time but I think it's a priority for her because Halo wasn't just I think you know if she were you look at Matthew ball is this she's strategy officer right there right and the way his mentality's work works is about the IP the franchises you know having massive games that are going to draw players in and all that kind of stuff and you have Halo has this deep history with gaming it's not just about being a popular Xbox game being the most popular Xbox game of the past I mean this this is a game that changed gaming this is a game that has nostalgia has memories is identifiable I can't
panic as Xbox and for it to be in this place now is unacceptable really if you really think about it where it's at and I think she's going to dress that and see it as this is something that has this is our golden goose and it has not been nurture this this is not been you know treated properly this this is not been invested in properly we need to make sure that this is done right with the right investment with the right teams and not just within gaming as well I think you know that you look at the trans media contract that's been shot around to different movie houses right now I think Netflix and universal and all these different companies are bidding on like a large entertainment package for Xbox right now to potentially make movies and TV shows off their franchises I think this is going to be expanding all of these universes
to those franchises to become these prominent large IPs and in doing so will help help Xbox because if you have those seven or eight billion dollar franchises or whatever Xbox is the place to play those right Xbox is the place where all this awesome stuff that everybody's talking about it lives and she has to make sure she gets those things there now she doesn't come from a game development background obviously so she's going to have to listen to a lot of smart people to help give her advice on what to do but fortunately they have blizzard they have Activision to look at on on teams that have had these massive successful ongoing franchises teams also that have had ups and downs within their own franchises the thing about if you if you have one game come out every five years right and that game doesn't necessarily hit for everybody it leaves a bad taste for another five years until you get another opportunity or crack at it
but you look at something like Call of Duty right okay last year was kind of like a bad year for cod well then modern warfare for as a chance to be a really big rebound year they had the same thing with a black ops six and black ops seven right and then it comes back to modern you know to modern warfare and it's a cycle where you can have it down year but hey there's always a chance for resurgence because you have something else coming but then also it keeps the IP and the franchises and the minds of people because there's always something new to look forward to and when you have I remember back in the day boom like they used to like you know we're afraid of Halo being over saturated and people using interest well what happens if you release something every five years and it doesn't necessarily hit for everybody and then they just move on and to start playing other things well what what's worse right you got to invest in the in the IP that you have that is valuable there should be more Halo words games right now there should be more of like different genres of Halo in multiple different kinds of games there should be like a Halo tactics there should be like a Halo RPG of some sort
there should be a Halo this there should be a Halo that there should be a Halo movie at theater coming out like every four years there should be a good Halo TV show that come that that's on Halo has that potential to be like star wars because there's so many stories to be told but they have to invest in it and I think she sees that and that's how you do it like there's so many examples you can look remember how Marvel was down way back and way back right they almost like folded as a company they had to start selling off their character rights and stuff to all these different entities that's how Sony got Spider-Man then they was like okay we're gonna make this Iron Man movie and then it was like okay we actually hit something let's but get another one out let's get another one out and they built something to where the MCU what has happened to the value of Marvel ever since I came out oh I'm oh my gosh you know what happens when you start releasing a lot of content and it starts
when you start releasing a lot of content and then people get and do an adventurous doomsday even though guess what Marvel had a dip here over like the in the COVID times and all that kind of stuff because people lose an interest people say it's all over guess what now Avengers doomsday is going to come out it's going to be one of it's already people already have their tickets for a movie that comes out. It's how you cultivate these franchises and these IP you got to invest in them and you you got to you got to do it right you know so I think she sees that and I think that's a kind of a key difference between what was here before and I part of the thing too is because I think in a weird way because she doesn't necessarily have that game development background she's not going to necessarily tolerate a bunch of excuses and stuff you know and she's going to be like we need to get this down no matter what you know like this is cold hard calculated business we need to get this done there's no excuses here franchises franchises like Halo should be a billion billion dollar franchises they should have a billion dollar games right and I think that's what she's going to strive for and not settle for less.
Well I mean again grand slam mav you did it again brother so great points all around mav but wait check this out you know you mentioned a couple of things so as you are talking I'm doing a research right on the air so I got a couple more points here before we get to the second big topic of the show now you mentioned Matthew ball specifically well I have some quotes here and this of course as a halo guy hearing a star say it's not going to be a big deal. I hearing a star say that Halo is important well the chief strategy officer thinks so as well check this out Matthew ball the chief strategy officer of Xbox quote views major first party franchises like Halo as key components that along with titles like Elder Scrolls 6 should anchor or yet we should anchor the Xbox ecosystems pipeline of platform exclusives now you know again that we're not going to get into the whole exclusive thing about Elder Scrolls which we did already and I believe it is but I think that Halo going over to PlayStation when it did and that a
OSHA tried we know that she tried to get it undone that'll never happen again is it already the bridge branch maybe for you but I think that if you release another Halo that is a banker that people are talking about people are playing both the single player and the multiplayer it won't matter what they didn't the past it will matter what they're doing now and they could still bring this platform this franchise back from the dead in my opinion but let me let me read a little bit of the story a little bit more from this report it goes on to say has two bullet points and it's and it's header it says Xbox exclusivity and Halo and it says reliable pipeline ball has emphasized that the future hardware launches and platform rebuilding rely on a steady trusted stream of major exclusive games rather than sporadic releases goes on to say this in the second bullet point driving engagement Matthew will discusses and how he discuss this was surrounding his strategy note that 10 pull franchises like Halo are essential to defining the ecosystem and attracting hardware buyers moving away from past mixed messaging and multi platform ports
so I think just on that alone that we know that Halo whatever it's going to be called wherever it's going to fool in the timeline is going back to being an Xbox exclusive as it should be but we have one more report here now this is an interesting one and you had made mention about having multiple projects being worked on and you are right in saying so I have pitched an incredible 12 to 14 hour alien isolation type of ODS T mode no one has from Microsoft has gotten back from me and I guarantee you that they're stealing my idea at Halo studios but it's fine I said that you could have made a scientist at Zeta Halo which is where the flood were made and you know you can have you don't have to be a Spartan you don't have to be ODS T you could be a scientist that's got to get to where they're going to pick you up and it'd be like I alien isolation you know you don't have weapons training but you you find the weapon here are there and you have to survive a flood infested Halo Zeta I mean I'm getting goosebumps just talking about it I mean I'm not going to write a book or anything but I think that'd be a frickin awesome game in the series now does it have to be
a 500 million dollar game it doesn't you can have a small teamwork on this and it could be a side story with you said it Halo like Star Wars has this vast universe and we know nothing about it if you don't read the books you don't know about Zeta Halo because they don't really talk about it in the games but this is an opportunity for Halo to expand its reach well here's a report here and this is where again folks walk with me on this I don't know if it's going to come to fruition I don't know what's going to happen afterwards but this is the report Mike was so often exploring options to have our division assist with future Halo projects through a complete franchise handover that has not been finalized now I don't necessarily know if taking the keys away from Halo studios is the answer I think that where Activision could come into play are these side stories these other Halo stories and what I love about it is the competition aspect if it puts pressure if Activision let's say for instance according to WCCF tech Activision tested early multiplayer prototype in June of 2026 with potentially in which the game is going to be a lot more
potential involvement from sledgehammer games now sledgehammer knows how to make first person shooters do they know how to make a Halo game I'm not exactly sure but where this might actually work is at the base level the competition level of these studios see if sledgehammer gets a hold of these Halo IP and they go to make their version of a story not master chief something else well that puts pressure on Halo studio say wait a second their game what we've seen so far is dope we need to be better and I like that I like having competition between studios I actually think it could work for the best but in closing this was a great way to open up the show I absolutely love Halo nav loves Halo a lot of people in this chat love Halo Halo and I do think that there is a way with a with the new leadership in place that this franchise does in fact have a chance chat and nav to come back in a big way and I am holding out hope that it does but let me catch up on super chats and then we of course we'll get to the second big topic
the first one is a channel member chat of Iman burn so we've been a channel member for a whopping 51 months so brother that is very kind of you would support we super appreciated he says just watch the state of pay boom and all I can say is that what a state of boring wow but hey they at least have ush making moves Xbox is killing it LFG yeah I didn't watch it I know tower that tower keep going to tower because it's a lighthouse keeper is of course drop shadow dropped onto you know look I'm going to say this as a small tangent I've had a lot of people DM me specifically asking me about wow that was pretty brutal what Tim Schafer Tim Schafer said about Xbox about Microsoft about how he handled it look I'm a Tim Schafer guy I have been for years and I will say this I'm not going to shoot from the hip because I have a lot of thoughts here I'm going to take this I'm going to hold it in I've already started writing what we're going to talk about on Monday I have a lot to say on the the antics of double fine studios what they're doing what they're asking of the fans to support
and that particular video we're going to talk about that I think on Tuesday and I say that because Jamie Moran has gone bonkers talking about it and he has a lot to say so I want to wait for him to come back and we're going to talk about that on Tuesday I know it may not be the biggest topic of the show but I actually think Tim was wrong I don't like the what he's done personally I don't like what he's asking for and I again I'm going to I'm going to save my very pointed professional way of saying things without being an a hole for Tuesday so I hope that you come back and you check that out but thank you so much appreciate that ginger prime I love I got to get back on your show ginger and you got to get back on this one ginger prime amazing member of the games community and of course incredible content creator in his own right mister final fantasy if I may say so ginger he's been a channel member for a whopping 15 months and ginger prime goes on to say I really hope they really start making halo games the few and far between makes people forget and move on see that that's a great state and right there he's 100% right I think that you alluded to that that if you know you don't bring a game out every five to seven years people just move them on right so yeah you're right
Lundy boy 22 11 33 drops a very generous $5 super chat and he goes on to say I've always said they could have made halo reached to a hero shooter like Overwatch Marvel rivals Tang Deep DPS healer class 6p6 easy you know I okay I don't hate that idea I don't hate that idea I actually don't because I think that that halo has so many characters that they could pull that off to be honest with you but I think that they they have left so much on the table and they did so many things right with halo infinite that if they just modernized what was there it would be a great halo now to mass point and I will say this no offense to anybody please don't don't unsub what I'm about to say halo fans are as bad or as worse as Star Wars fans nothing is good enough for them I'm not one of those people I love Halo I will take new ways to play it if I don't like it I'm like okay I didn't really like that but I'm still gonna play because I love Halo
but I think you said it earlier ma'am yeah halo fans just as bad as Star Wars fans sorry Star Wars fans but you you know what I'm talking about well you know people like I know we want to carry on but like Halo reached a point to where it's gonna be one of those games or franchises that's gonna be overly criticized no matter what they do just because of how how popular and how massive it got in the expectations that the fans have right that is like Star Wars that is like Call of Duty like Call of Duty Call of Duty every year gets crazy criticism no matter how popular it is you know that the Call of Duty fan base just tears it apart while they continue to play it constantly and that will happen again this year Halo reached that same level that a lot of these other games and franchises do the problem is is they only releasing a game every five six years and you can't be at that level and still only have a release that often
because then you're just leaving that that sentiment sitting around and they end those same fans just eventually move on and they don't have the next single report to you you have to keep grabbing them again and again because they even if they're trapping on the franchise or being negative or talking about it or the sentiment seems poor there's still fans and they're still playing and they're still coming back right over and over and over and over again for a reason you know and that is Halo Halo infinite was one of the biggest launches Halo's ever had maybe the biggest and then it kind of tells off over time because of the lack of content that over the first year but you can't you can't let it go this long before the next thing you know and I do not we had Halo campaign of all but it's not the next thing it's a it's another remake of something we've already played again and again and again and again and again and again and again
and again and again and again. So we, you know, the craving is there. They've been, I think unfortunately, it's just gonna be a while before they get that train rolling, but I think that train will start rolling. I mean, yeah, they will eventually get there, you know, I mean, listen, it's a big franchise, ladies and gentlemen, it is the franchise in my humble opinion. And I honestly believe that it has an opportunity to come back in a big way. That's just my take on it. But again, you know, your mileage is gonna vary on Halo, whether or not you believe that it deserves to come back, whether or not you're interested in it. You know, some people in the chat think that Master Chief is a little long in a tooth. They want other franchises. I'll be honest with you, I would love to know what happened to Timo Cyrus. I'd like to know if Locke is alive or dead, right? Because one of the big characters from Halo Infinite
had his element as a part of his armor. That means he is he dead? I'm automatically assuming that, yeah, he probably is, but maybe he's not. And that's just one of those, again, it's just one of those things, man, that we just, we did not get enough information and it is what it is, but chat, bath. Bath, we got to get into a particular situation in Xbox gaming that is happening right now that I honestly believe. I set it to you in the DM and I'll say it live on the air. I believe the Xbox disc to digital program, known as Project Positron, that is live for Xbox insiders, is the biggest thing to happen to gaming in the 25 years, any 25 years in gaming. And you might agree and maybe you don't agree,
but you have to admit that this is a program that we know for a fact Nintendo and PlayStation would never, ever do. They just wouldn't. Why? Because they want to nickel and dime the F out of their fan base and they've done it for years. Well, check this out folks. This is just a list, a small list of what comes with the Xbox disc to digital program and why I believe math. It is the most important thing Xbox has done in the past decade. I'd say guaranteed this generation as many great things as they've done in just this generation alone. And you can throw them in there, make your lists, there's a lot.
But what is great about this particular program is you get console home sharing, Xbox play anywhere, Xbox cloud gaming, access to de-listed games that you can't go out and buy digitally. If you have the disc i.e. Deadpool or the Transformers, you pop that in there and you get your digital license. That is amazing. But also, and this is crazy. Use of the Xbox One disk driver, if you have an old Xbox One and it's just lying around, you could pop an Xbox Series X disk in there. And though it tell you it does, you can't play it, you can get the digital license and it goes into your library math. Like holy cow, the wide scope of what this does
for the physical collecting community that they could still have their games, are their shelves? Because it, you know why? It's important to them. And I think that at its core is why I love being a bot. Xbox cares about what you think consumer, what you think Xbox like me. And that is a really big deal. But I have two questions. I'm gonna tackle each one at a time. Math, I'll read them aloud so you get the chat vault. But I want to get your hot take on these two questions. We'll start with the first one. This is the first question. In your opinion as being someone that is more Xbox centric and you are a, you know, through PC, MR type of guy, you have a nice PC. Is this biggest thing? Is project positron the biggest thing
to not just happen to Xbox, but to gaming as a whole? I would say yes. I mean, that's a, you could make a case for so many different things, probably will last like 25 years. But the implications of this for just game entitlement and with gaming going digital, inevitably over the last, I would say 15 years or so, it's been gradually getting more and more digital. The worst part of the digital library is the only real negative, right? Is that you can't sell or trade your digital copies. Right, you have to hold on to them somewhere. You buy it, or I would say your digital copy. So if you buy a digital copy, it's just there in your library. And let's say you hated the game, you know, or whatever, you know, if you don't get a refund for it or whatever,
you know, it just sits there. Right. You can't trade it in, you can't sell it, you can't do an, it's just gonna sit there, right? And that's been the pretty much only negative for me for digital library ever since I've become a digital gamer because all the other benefits outweigh it. Like, you know, I get to have my library and I get my fingertips, you know, any time I want to have like a thousand games just ready there to hit install and play and I don't have to go looking for a disk or worry about that. It's just all there. The games carry forward with me, generation to generation or device to device, no matter where I'm at, that's the other benefit. Then you have things like smart delivery, you have things like play anywhere as well. And since I've been playing more on PC, that's been my favorite thing has been play anywhere, right? Because I buy the game, you know, digital and then I have it on my console for my bedroom or the living room, but then if I'm sitting here, I can play it on my PC too, right?
So the digital benefits have outweighed physical for me. So I've been heavily digital for a long time now. But, but one negative, like I said, is you haven't been able to sell or trade digital items, right? That changes now. To me, the physical disk just represents a physical entity of my digital copy now. And I will be able to sell or trade my digital games because I am going to start buying physical and selling the, claiming the digital license and then just putting the game as a shelf on collection. And if I ever decide, you know what, I wanna give this to somebody, I want to sell it or whatever that has value and I can then move on from that license. Now, some people don't sell games, trade games, whatever. But back in the physical days, I was always like a guy that would go to GameStop, trade in like a couple games, get a brand new game
because I was always looking forward to the next thing. And, you know, it helped me save money and to help support my gaming habit, you know? And this digital that hasn't ever really been able to do that, this allows me to have the best of both worlds. And there's not a, people keep trying to twist and try and find some kind of negative here or like, oh, this is just a gateway to the digital future. That's happening regardless, everybody. Right? Like, you're trying to put too much weight on this of like the digital future. The digital future is happening regardless. Yes, we can ask and hope for the physical games that are going to be able to be played on next generation and the generations beyond that. But eventually, it's not going, it's good. Even if it does exist, it's still going to be a very small, small portion. And it's going to be more of a collector's thing and all that. They're giving you an off ramp here to be able to keep your library,
keep your games going forward and not have to worry about old tech. You're going to be getting updates on these old games. If you have an Xbox series game, and you still have an Xbox one for whatever reason, you know, if you have a series S, you can put a series X desk into an old Xbox one, claim the series X version of the game. And if it's play anywhere, you will also get the PC version simply from buying a disk. You get games you can play it on your Xbox, on your series S, you can play it on your PC. Now, people have been trying to twist it, well, what happens if I get rid of the disk and I give it to somebody, then I lose a digital license? Well, no shit, Sherlock, you fuck, you're so sorry, you sold it. Just like you would have if you sold a physical game. I've seen people say, what happens if my disc breaks? Then I can't recertify it if I ever have to.
First off, you're not going to have to because nobody's going to get the game because it broke, you get more on. And then if you do somehow end up having to re-verify it and your disc broke, you wouldn't have been able to play the game anyway because your disc broke. This is only adding an extra option. In fact, if your disc breaks, this actually lets you keep playing it. I've been following this guy that has a massive collection. He has 800 something games that he's tested so far. And it's like, I think like 600 of them have work for disk to digital and he had one where it's like, he had almost one game, it's like, yeah, this game won't play because it's like, it's like scratched and stuff so the disc won't run. But it let him claim the digital copy off that disc. Crazy. There are so many benefits to this. And even if you're a collector, like, yeah, I understand people, I want the nostalgia of putting stuff in things, right?
And I know you like to put things in things, right? I get it, whatever. You can still preserve your disc in a shelf. If you want to just do it just for the sake of it, you can still do that. The only thing I've seen from the negative aspect from people is they're trying to twist a feeling they have about the digital future into a negative about this program which is absolutely no negative. The only thing I can say that would be negative is every publisher needs to support this. Yes. Every like Sega and Bandai Namco. Do we so often another one? You'd be soft. You need to get on board with this program because it's beneficial to your consumer, right? The same way where like a lot of different publishers don't support play anywhere. Like I, we as customers should be advocating for play anywhere to be supported on every game. We should be advocating for just a digital where you support it on every game. And I, and people were saying, well, this is the end of digital.
You know how many people might actually start buying physical disc again just because of this program? Can I tell you right away the details of physical games? You know what's interesting? If you don't mind, I want to just pop in and just make mention of this. What you just said is a reality that's happening now. Now look, I'm not suggesting chat. And Mav is not suggesting that everyone is going to go back to physical. I don't expect that. I think people buy digital for the reason of convenience. They don't have to go to a store. They simply just have to pre-order something or go to their favorite site like for instance, go to the Xbox store, see a game like Aliens Fire Team 2 and just go buy digitally awesome, right? You don't care. But the option aspect of it. See, this is what, and again,
it's a loaded topic folks. So you're going to have to walk with me on this. We're going to get on the back end why there's been so much pushback. We'll get there. Before we get there, I want to talk about the benefits. I just bought two Metal Gear games physically. I bought, now here's a thing. I'm a pension guy. You all know that. So I can't really buy every game that comes out. I would love to. I just can't. So what I'm going to do as long as Xbox allows their publishers and their partners to make discs for the Xbox Series X, I'm going to wait for a sale. So of course, Metal Gear Solid, that was stuck on a PlayStation 3 Metal Gear Solid 4, stuck on a PlayStation for years.
Well, guess what? It's now playable on Xbox. That collection just came out. I could buy that particular game for 30 bucks. Guess what I'm going to do? I'm going to wait about a month, math, and I'm going to wait for a sale. And when it goes on sale, like the other two Metal Gear collections that I bought, I'm going to buy it. And then what am I going to do? I'm going to take the disc, I'm going to pop it in, I get my digital license, I have the convenience of having these thousands of games on my hard drive, which I have eight terabytes. I'm good on space, right? Till just sit there, until I decide to play them. And then of course, you might be saying, well, you now you have to contend with room for these games. Oh well, then if I ever wanted to sell the games, math, guess what I could do that I can't do with digital copies. Give them away, sell them back,
go to eBay and sell them in the third party market. It gives me the power of a consumer to do something that if you only buy digital, you don't have math. Please continue, sir. Yeah, I mean, people, like I said, people just always keep trying to twist things into negative. Like I've seen like this misinterpretation and I see somebody in the chat that thinks that they can revoke your license and everything from the digital copy. Well, that happens when you give the game to somebody else, like you would have anyway. Like if you give a physical copy to somebody, they're gonna get it, right? Yeah, you can't play the game anymore if you give a physical distance to somebody else, right? And then they claim it. So yeah, obviously the game's there. You sold it or bought it. Now, I've seen like, well, these people that have this misinterpretation of the, you know, that their physical license is more like consumer friendly than their digital license.
Read the terms and conditions. First off, the physical disc and the licensing in terms of conditions actually is pretty much the same. The only difference is you can actually buy and sell and trade the disc itself, which is a physical entity, right? Now, when you have that disc, that gives you the benefit of physical. The same benefit you would have had otherwise. Nothing is happening to that disc when you claim your digital copy. You, if you're afraid of your digital licenses being revoked, which I see somebody in the chat being afraid that their digital license could be revoked for whatever reason, right? Maybe they cheat on cod or something or, I don't know, right? If you're afraid of your digital licenses getting revoked, then you can still put the physical disc in the tray and it works just like it always has. Nothing changes. They're not somehow laser engraving your physical disc to all of a sudden make it not operate, right? Like the disc is the same. You're getting something extra on top of it. And the extra benefit is the thing that the digital gamers have been preferring.
So you can choose to use that extra digital benefit if you want to. It'll be granted to you, whether you choose to use it is it can it be completely up to you? That is the choice. That is the choice that we all have. You can say, I don't want this. I don't want this free thing that's giving to me, right? But like, why would you just not want to something that is granted to you and something even if you don't use it? Just let it be there because you don't know what the future is going to hold. If 10 years from now, physical gaming is dead completely. You're going to be super glad that all of these licenses were granted to you when they all get updates, when you get all these extra benefits, when you get all these extra features and all that other stuff, and 15 years, 20 years from now, being able to still play these games, that you're like afraid of them revoking right now
because you actually put a game in the disc or I mean the disc in the box, you are actually preserving the ability for you to play that in the future. Just think about that before you start like coming up with all these reasons why this could be some kind of a bad thing and because you're anti-digital and you keep trying to warp things in your mind to figure out some kind of reason that this is bad. We need to celebrate the wins for gamers. And pro consumers. Thank you. Thank you. Regardless of what the future holds, you know who it helps? Every single Xbox gamer that has games on Xbox One and Series X or is interested in buying them. Today, today, this helps every single one and it's something that no other platform even dares to consider to do.
Even dares to think about offering to their customers because they didn't even care enough to put the technology in the boxes to make it possible. This is something that is pro consumer and you can't just twist this into like, oh my god, this is bad because I don't feel good about it in some kind of weird, like some kind of way. Your feeling doesn't change the fact that this is a benefit to every single one of us by giving us, guess what? Options. Options. Options, options, options are pro consumer for all of us. More access to our games is better for all of us. Why do people think that the only way to celebrate gaming is if you go and buy something that's super expensive and have it as a physical entity
and that's the only way to play something? That is cool for what it is but that's not the only solution for gaming. That's not the only solution. There is so many different ways you can approach your libraries and giving more options to all of us is what we should be asking of all these freaking companies. Yeah, thank you. Every single one of them, that all these people that are twisting this stuff, man, it is absolutely mind bogging the gymnastics is like they're in the freaking mental Olympics right now. Some of these people deserve gold medals for the amount of effort they're putting in to try and twist this massive game-changing feature that is so pro consumer towards Xbox gamers that they have to try and figure out some kind of possibility how this is bad. And it also flies in the face of what's going on with PlayStation right now.
Great point. And it is with what's going on with PlayStation right now and then this happening at the same time, they're in shock. They're in shock about this and it's a coming to reality moment of like, oh my gosh, all these promises that have been made to me about how, you know, this is how you share games about this is that. This is the place where we decide when the generation start. This is this, we're the special place. This is cable. That over there is over the air broadcast. I mean, there's so many different things that have been said about comparing PlayStation to Xbox over this and it's all been bullshit. Propaganda marketing targeted to you to prop them into the, to prop PlayStation into the position where they can turn around and say, guess what? You got screwed. Here we are. Do you have areas you enjoy our new TV thing
that we're showing here that on the, you get to watch live TV now or you get to watch TV here on the PlayStation. Oh, guess what? Also, we're taking away physical gaming from you. Sorry, it is what it is. I mean, there's just like, now less is more for first party games apparently as well. Like they have just pulled the wool over your eyes for so long, propped you up into putting them on this pedestal and now they are standing upon that pedestal looking down and laughing at you and it's a reality check. It's a reality check and you can't come, they can't come to groups with it right now, boom. They're looking at what Xbox is doing, they're looking at all the games that they have coming out that are actually hitting, the direction that's changing with the leadership as well. And it's like, oh my gosh, maybe we've been looking in the wrong direction all these years. And the mental gymnastics is them clinging on to the last little bits of threat of hope that they have
about, well, there are Xbox is going digital too. This is all just because of that. And that's the only answer that they can come up with, right? This benefits you, this benefits every single one of us. And it's absolutely amazing. Boom, did you ever think you would see the ability to buy a physical PC game again at the store? No, no, that that, I think the last one that actually was available to buy in a physical format was the remake of Doom, like going back, I think that was the actual last disc PC game was whatever the remake of Doom was or the relaunching of Doom. I think that was actually the last one. It mind blowing, for PC-only gamers, right? Go get a cheap Xbox one somewhere. Yeah, I think you can probably get them used for GameStop for like a hundred bucks, something like that. I don't know. Go get a cheap Xbox one somewhere. Look up the play anywhere games for Xbox Series X
that have come out this generation and check see if they're digital at 75% of them probably are. Go put the disc in your Xbox one. You just bought yourself a physical PC game. Yes. Because guess what? You have access on your PC to play that game and then you can sell or trade that disc and then somebody else gets it. They brought back physical PC gaming in 2026. It's insane. Nobody looks at all these things and about what this means today that wasn't here just a couple of weeks ago. Like it's amazing what this does for options for us, man. Absolutely. Yeah, you know, it's funny. We keep talking about options. I'm a consumer chat. You're a consumer too, right? Don't you like options? Or do you just like the one way? Because if you look at and I've brought it up and I'm not doing this for console war, I'm literally doing it. Let's just let's do a one from one.
We opened up the segment with what? Taking a game, a physical game. Popping it into your Xbox Series X or your Xbox, your Xbox one. And getting a digital license and where that gives you the ability to play this game. You can play it on your Series S. You can play it on your tablet. You can play it on your handheld. It's a digital copy. Go crazy, right? I have a tweet here from Jamie Moran who could not stop talking about this. He must have tweeted about it three times. He's excited. Remember the game Deadpool by Activision? Well, it's the listed. One of the biggest, I mean, this is got to be like the biggest thing about the positron program. The listed games that have been removed from the digital store that you cannot buy digitally, ladies and gentlemen.
If you have the disk and you pop that disk in, boom, digital license for a game that was delisted. Shout out to Jamie Moran who goes on to say this in his tweet. Xbox, digital digital even works with delisted games. So even if you own a game like on disk like Deadpool Remaster, it works. Such a great feature to have the benefit of both digital and physical all in one. And he obviously shows some footage from Xbox Series X. I mean, again, I'm having a really hard time, chat, trying to get my head around people that are trying to figure out a way to denounce this incredible program to somehow twist it and angle it in a way that's anti-Xbox. That oh no, don't drink the Kool-Aid. They're trying to get you into a digital future. Let me just say this right off the bat.
Again, no console war. Let's just look at what the blue team is doing versus what the green team is doing. The green team tells you that your physical library is important to us. So we have something called Project Positron and you can take your 800 games that are sitting on a wall because you like what looking at that collection. Good for you, right? And is every game going to work? No, but they have a really, really good head start. And right now, yes, it's just Xbox Series games and Xbox One games. They're going to be elaborating on it where your old GX box games and Xbox 360 will be next. They're working on it, folks, right? What has PlayStation done? PlayStation announces that in 2028, January 1st, more specifically of 2028, Mavinschat,
that you can't play a disc moving forward. They're not going to have disc-based games even from their first party. And what went, when pressed on this, what did Lin Tao say? We hear you, but it doesn't matter. Now, obviously, I'm being facetious. She didn't say it like that. She literally says, we understand. We've heard our consumer base, but we're still moving forward with the no physical for the future of PlayStation gaming. And you know what's interesting? We thought, let's talk price. At the bottom line of everything that we're talking about right now, it comes down to money, ladies and gentlemen. And do you know why Sony doesn't want discs anymore? Because, and I've seen, I don't have them the posts in front of me, but I have seen many PlayStation gamers go out to a store, literally taping it and videoing it,
and show that they can buy a game that Sony has for $60 for $11 for the physical copy. Now, they can still keep their physical copy and they can pop it in there into their PlayStation and play it, but you know what they can't do? They can't get a digital license for that game app, like Xbox. So the real reason why Sony wants only digital is because they want to control the market. They don't want you to buy your games at a discount from anyone, which is why you can't go out. The only place you're gonna get a game on sale, a digital game on sale for PlayStation is if PlayStation themselves are telling you what's on sale. And if they tell you it's not on sale, you're gonna pay the price. That's a big problem. We talked about this a couple of weeks ago. Now, I don't know if this is gonna come to a reality or not,
but there was a report that they're trying to get their own crypto, meaning they're gonna remove the ability to use your credit card, and you're gonna have to buy these PlayStation-like coins to buy their games. You know what that ultimately does? They can control the price and value of those coins. So on a Tuesday, if let's say a thousand coins is $100, and on a couple of Wednesdays following, they say, you know what, we're gonna lower the value of those coins. So now you have to spend 1,200 coins to get the same $100. That's gonna be a real problem, but no one's thinking about that. And you know what's interesting, Mav? I think we've presented a really good case here. You know what we haven't seen? And this is where I'm gonna get super pointed. This is the other side of the coin, Mav. This is the other side of the question that I had proposed. Why is there so much pushback, Mav?
Right? Obviously, social media is gonna be social media, but you know what you haven't seen, Mav? You haven't seen games media pushing back against the old digital future PlayStation, but you have seen some of these POS's pushback against what is ultimately the best thing to happen to gaming in the last 25 years, and that's Project Positron. Why, Mav? How do they try to spin this yarn? I have no idea. Well, I mean, they tried to spin negativity towards game pass for so long. They tried to spin, they never even really acknowledge play anywhere, you know, like, is it surprising to you? Remember back when games at the beginning of this gen announced that they were gonna be going up to 70 and then PlayStation was the first platform holder to actually announce they were doing $70 games? Yep. Do you remember what the games media was saying then?
Like, oh, it's time, you know, it's, you know, it's been so long since we've had price increases, you know, all of that, you know, what happened when Xbox in the middle of the generation tried to push out an $80 game, when Nintendo did the same thing for Mario Kart, which they got very little pushback on, but when Xbox tried to do it, games media crucified them over that, over that, and it gets with Xbox Backtrack. Nintendo didn't, because they didn't get the same backlash for Mario Kart, obviously, right? PlayStation is gonna get the same backlash at all. And now you also have ending a physical gaming. It's time, they say. Mine's just at the beginning of this generation with that first big price increase announcement. In mind you, that price announcement happened when they were all recording record profits. I mean, that was like, they were like, numbers are through the roof. I mean, they were like 50% higher profits
than ever before and stuff like that. So there was no excuse back then. They tried to make excuses for it. Middle of this generation, we all know what happened with pricing and consoles. That's, that is what it is, right? But now you have this ending a physical, hey, it's time, it is what it is. You know, you know, PlayStation, how many articles I've seen from games media saying like, you know, at reports say that 90% of gamers are digital now and all this other kind of stuff that all of a sudden came out of the woodworks right after this whole thing. And it's like they're trying to do damage control for PlayStation to stop the conversation and let people say, okay, I'm going digital, I'm gonna have to go digital. They're trying to change the mindset. The advertising dollars from PlayStation are hard at work there, you know, they gotta be. All these games media sites, because you see it clears the day.
And now you have a pro consumer move from Xbox and guess what, they a lot of the games media reports on. I've seen some positivity out there that this is good, but in reality, this is just, I can't help but feel this is just a bridge to the digital, the X, but this just means he likes is going to be all digital also, right? They're not even really reporting on all the amazing benefits of the program. How it helps every gamer in the Xbox ecosystem today, not reporting that nobody else has a solution, except for they may add a line like, at least they have an option. Right. You know, it is so belittled in every single one of their articles to make it seem like, this is the only reason it exists is just because of the helix thing. Even if that's the case, even if that the worst case scenario is true. This is only in their mentality for that.
Imagine being on a four lane highway and we're living on, you know, the past, it's always been going this way and it's made up of physical and digital gamers, right? And all of a sudden, you have a future change and we're all going to have to get off and get on a new path and get on a new highway to where it's digital only. Xbox has a nice little offer amp there to help the gamers guide onto that new highway, right? Help guide them there that nobody else is offering. You know what's at the end of the PlayStation Highway? A brick fucking wall and you're going to slam into it and all of your games are going to be worthless unless you can hold on to that old stuff that you're going to have to keep forever. They're not going to get free updates. They're not going to carry over with you generation to generation. Your backwards compatibility will be non-existent again.
And you say at least Xbox has an option. You know, it's time. This is a big deal. Yeah. This is a massive deal and it has huge implications on Xbox. It has huge implications on gaming in general and it needs to be talked about in the sense of how massive it is. From we can buy a used physical game for cheap, put it in a disk, or put it in a tray, and get access on our Xbox, on our PC and know that when we buy a Helix, it will be there as well as our existing libraries. You can't say that on the other platform. You can't say it and the media won't say it either because they don't want to acknowledge the reality that Xbox is doing more for their customers than anybody else. And that's the truth. I mean, well said once again, Mav.
Look, this has been an incredible show. Thank you so much for not only being here, chat, but of course, Mav for dropping bomb after bomb. I don't think that the game, I mean, look, this is going to sound very conspiratorial. And if it does, I am who you thought I was. The game's media is afraid to tell it like it is with Sony because Sony pays the rent for a lot of them. You think otherwise, think what you want. I'm telling you, it is the reality. Sony keeps the light on for IGN and GameSpot and Kataku and Digital Foundry. We know this for a fact. They literally keep the lights on, which is why those major outlets will not move against PlayStation, even when there's something to say negative, that's legit. Yeah, again, talking about Sony one way is not console-waring.
Sony is not giving their players enough. That's it. There is not even a question. Xbox is not only giving you digital copies for your physical games, they're letting you take those those digital copies and play anywhere. Now, was that all of them? No, but it's a good portion of them. You're going to get a chance to take a game whether you buy it at full price or you catch it on sale, pop it into your console, get a digital version of it. If you have old hardware, you can still do it there, which is insane, and then that digital license, as long as you keep that disk, is going to follow you into the next generation. How is that a bad thing, Chat? The game's media is as corrupt as I've ever seen it. They have really drawn the line in the sand
and they will not move against Sony. So you know what you do to these people? You put them on the panel in mind list, which is what I've done. And you go to the people like Idle Sloth and of course, obviously you have Hasidore Gaming and Clobreel follow those guys. Support them because they get out there and they put out tons of information each and every day and they do it because they love gaming. They don't do it for money, they don't do it because they want you to give them a like or tell them, pat them on the ass and tell them how good they are. They do it for the love of gaming, whereas all these other places are just paid shills. And I'll leave it at that. But let me just catch up on a couple of Superchats. We got here, Maven, get you on out. We have here a very generous $10 Superchats. From the Green Blood Network, goes on to say this, have to drop in a very generous $10 Superchats.
Project Positron makes Project Keystone 1000% viable. Imagine an X-Cloud device that doubles as a small external disk drive and dock for handhelds, custom chip on board, $299 play anywhere, D2D. You know, it's funny in the last video that I did that got crazy engagement. Krispy Bomb, who's in the chat, so shout out to Krispy for being here. He believes that Asha has dusted off Project Keystone. And I mean, listen, I'm not gonna bring up the visual evidence here right now because we're on the way out the door, but you've seen my mocks, right? Like mock ups. You know, a package that is labeled as halo or gears or a call of duty with a controller, it's, you know, it could be $199, $250. It's a, again, it's not the play anywhere thing, but also what it does is invoke someone
who doesn't have the money for a new $1,000 console or an $800 console to get involved in gaming because of one game or many. And if they are someone that wants, like I say, for instance, and again, we're gonna get out of here, but just for reference, Mavit said it, take your disk, pop it in, you can play it anywhere. If you've done that already and you go out and you buy this device, you put it into a room that doesn't have a gaming system, you have all of your games ready for you to go. Your whole digital library will be there for you. Absolutely insane work. But, Project Meda-Keygul is gonna channel member for as long as the channel has existed and we are going to be nine years old, November 3rd of this year. And folks, like I said earlier, we have crossed nine million subs in under nine years, which is just absolutely in bonkers.
And that's thanks to your generosity with your views, with your likes, with your shares. Well, Project Meda-Keygul goes on to say, let's keep it all the way 100. The main reason people have a problem with digital because is MS, it's an MS program, I'd be okay. It would be okay if it was Sony or PlayStation. I mean, that's that's the score of the day right there. He's not wrong. These journalists that are as worth as much as a pair of old socks would be up Sony's ass with this. Oh my God, Sony are the greatest things in sliced bread, but because it's Xbox, we know the deal. But Matt, let's sell the brand, brother. What you got going on for the rest of the week, are we gonna have a Mav brand? I think we're all do one for sure. Sell the brand, brother. Where can people subscribe to your YouTube channel and reach out to you on the socials? Yeah, well, thanks for having me, boom. It's been fun, as always.

Well, now I have puts out a great show. Every time he gets behind a microphone,
everyone on his panel is lovable, likable. You appreciate what they're there for. That's to talk about gaming. Please, if you're just finding me and you're like, oh, who's this boomstick guy?
