Sk: Jolana stála v obývačke a pozorovala nádherne ozdobené domy okolo jej nového domova.
En: Jolana stood in the living room and watched the beautifully decorated houses around her new home.

Sk: Bola jeseň a lístie na stromoch menilo farby na zlatú a oranžovú.
En: It was autumn, and the leaves on the trees were turning gold and orange.

Sk: Skúsila otvoriť okno, cítiť svieži jesenný vzduch, ale niečo ju ešte ťažilo.
En: She tried to open the window to feel the fresh autumn air, but something was still weighing on her.

Sk: Hľadala priateľov vo svojej novej štvrti a cítila sa osamelá v tomto elegantnom, ale uzavretom spoločenstve.
