It is a skeleton crew bandwagon today, which really just means we're down, we're just down a man.
Because we we we haven't carried a four host booth for quite some time now at this point. And so being down a man just means the PC Toneys here and either Dave or I ain't gonna make it. This week Dave is tinnitus of family matters. Toneys smiling because it's your or is he working? He might be working. I don't know what is on. I get yeah he's busy and there you have you know the executive vice president of Wednesday programming and talent relations, the commissioner himself PC Toneys joining your number one chair shot going. Patrick now to to keep holding down the bandwagon for which to date to date since this podcast started airing on Sundays has not missed a show. So we got that going for us. Which is nice. Which is nice. Nice. We got that go for you. Thank you. If you are listening live or watching live, we love having you here. If you want, you got questions, comments, concerns about anything.
We talk about it in the show today. Feel free to jump in that chat. That live chat. We'll be up and cooking in at the very least. Toneys will see your comments and respond to it. Oh yeah. Should we announce? Should we make the announcement? Dave has a new ex handle. Dave does. Oh, did you get a request at egg attitude? I didn't see it show up in my mentions, but I just went into look at who's following me. I looked at my followers and I saw he had followed us. So I followed him. Otherwise just look up at you can follow Dave now at a G G attitude and you can't miss because half of his half a tower is attitude of aggression. Half is unidentified history and his banner is WrestleMania. So yeah, it was. It was the first thing that popped up as a verified follower. There we go. And he's going to find it now. He'll be back. I'm sure the big five. I'm verified. I feel like unidentified history. The big five project and game going wrong will all be back live on action. I guess we should welcome him back into the
group chat then. Oh, didn't we start one that we had? They were the old. No, no, no, I'm in on on the x Twitter. I don't I mean, I think he I think his old account can be in there. We should invite the new account. We should you know, we should make a clean break of it all. That's that's all I'm saying. He should be he can invite himself. Oh, he might not be able to invite because he's is other. He's not. He's not. Maybe we said we might have said too much already. He might already have gotten banned from his second account. Yeah, well, you know, Twitter. What I'm trying to figure out is I can see the chat is not showing me the chat. I don't want to whisper backstage. No, anyway, this is neither here nor there. I don't I don't deal with this. I'm just the talent. I'm the voice talent on the show. Like I don't I don't worry about the production part. We're good. I rock and we're right articles. Anytime I get asked, hey, do you want to do do a new podcast? I mean, my answer's you do you do like to do it. How much new you do you do
like a total of like two and a quarter pot. You will like average like two and a quarter podcasts a week, you know, I mean, yeah, it's true. I I work hardly work work hard. I mean, I would say you probably you do over a hundred podcasts a year or so. I mean, that's a lot. This ball. Look at me go. Right. I mean, wouldn't you say I'd say you're right. Yeah, you're maybe a little higher than that. At least between four corners and BWN because I mean, we and BWN is R and BWN. Four corners is like the sacrificial lamb of Sunday, you know, Sunday. I figure activity. I figure between the three shows that you do you probably do a hundred hundred plus. Right. It's yeah, it's good time. And then you know, I guess on the occasional show, I did a 30 mindless minutes. I'm fighting with DJ again, by the way, as he had he had to back his boys that excited her over his trash superhero movies. I'm sorry, dude. You say washing Superman. Is it deep? You say again, as if I didn't feel like it was going to be in perpetuity regardless of I mean, it is
a part of the occasional like occasional truce to do a show where both your feelings were heard as kids, you know, like I rarely do that. I rarely do that. I rarely do that. That's my childhood. That was mean. I'm sorry. I apologize. I did have a lot of fun talking about that show and could it or that movie. Well, there's a perfect place. There's a perfect place to plug that again later, more 30 mindless minutes. Right. Yeah, there's another one out today. Underrated bands. I think no, I meant the episode that you and him did. Oh, yeah, yeah, we can do that towards you in there. We do have a kind of a limited docket today. I didn't go too hard on the news around the NERTO sphere. The trailer park was light and I think that was being generous though. I did find some unique stuff. It just wasn't a big news week. We do have lanterns. We're still covering lanterns and I'm just going to start with we at least now understand why John Stewart was thinking
with his day. So you just got a message from Dave. I'm about to get on a plane. So it's only fitting that I say good luck. We're all counting on you. Oh, we don't need your we don't need your good wishes, sir. Well, it's safe travels, David. We'll see you next week. Yeah, let's hope the plane doesn't go down. Oh my god, Patrick. He'll be fine. You are safe for flying. Then you are driving actually in this day and age or at least you used to be. I don't know. Air traffic controllers are dealing with some share right now. But oh, I as I was saying, we're going to talk about lanterns episode four. We now understand again, John Stewart, taken with his dick for the second time. But we found out why and that is because we finally know who the man hunter is. This episode really of lanterns, Tony was all about the web of lies that everybody is telling to each other. You know, whether it be how kind of lying about what he talked to Sinestro about John Stewart,
absolutely lying about what he's talking to the guardians about and lying to how about him knowing who the man hunter is. The man hunter keeping their secrets secrets everywhere, man. Just can I have my very horrible it's moment now. Yes, I have a very horrible I knew it was her too, by the way. You just weren't on the show yet. You missed the first two weeks. I think the second week I declared that she was going to be the man hunter. Yeah, it was pretty like, yeah, I was like, oh, it's her. It's one of those moments we see. We're at about the halfway point. So, you know, season's night episodes long. This is the right place. Too bad too bad that classic song from the 80s isn't man hunter. Oh, yeah. Whoa, here she comes. Watch out, boy, she'll sex you up. Whoa, here she comes. She's man hunter. Thank you, Patrick. I was about to do the same, but you were you were
grooving. I was just good. You did exactly what I needed. This is an actual story that happened on this last cruise. Now, well, now we lost all monetary value to this episode. So there you go. We lot, well, so I want to tell this story because there's something by and it's not always hard to do, but my son is not always impressed by my uncanny knack to change the lyrics of various songs to make them fit whatever's going on. And he actually was asked on our cruise by the group of families that were with us at one point. They were like, what are things that you like about your dad or that you know that your dad does. And one of the things he said is that he's really good at taking songs and changing the lyrics to make them work. And so I do take that as a small point of pride. But you know, watch out, boy, she'll sex you up. I am. I feel like inevitably when
Patrick and PC Tony end up hanging out. Something will be in the satellites in the sand. At a bar having libations, we will we will definitely be the entertainment for said bar. I feel like we are pretty close to the same type of person that way. Yeah, I think there's a lot in common there. And I say that and I say that in the best possible and most complimentary way. Like I've had different groups of close close friends like a few different times in my life from like grade school to like the same people I hang out still with that are my best friends from high school to like sports teams. And in a good way, we would always kind of take over the room we were in to where hopefully people were having a better time. Good. And I hope that that happens whenever we get together that we just run from this bitch. When it when it happens. So, but in addition, there are a lot way to on in this in this episode. And I think, you know, the first we got the big reveal that Zoe is
indeed the man hunter now and that has come come to be we had a really so how and John are looking to connect and I'm going to forget his name. I'm trying to go through the the names now. Zoe's husband and make make it. No, well, that's the last name. That's her last name. Bait you can call you might call you might call him bacon making because we got to see his fucking sizzle stick. We did get to see the although I don't know. Yeah, I don't think you got that. I think you got to see it in the picture. You didn't actually get to see it. Right. He just yeah, drew because we learned a little bit more. This was a really interesting episode where John and how really actually start to build a little bit of a bond and respect for each other before how realizes that John lied about knowing who the man hunter was earlier like that's that's where we
in the episode is that you know, John apologizes. He's got these regrets. How's like I'm not trying to sabotage you. It comes out that the man hunt hired out the man hunters at the guardians. What did John to take the ring from how and the John chose not to do it that he gave the ring back even though there were a couple of opportunities to do so. You know, Sinestro fucking with how Jordan's mind because Sinestro trained how and even though he's evil and we know he's evil, how is listening a little too much to Sinestro being like, well, John Stewart's your bigger threat. You should kill him at some point. Make it look like an accident. I like he didn't say it that way because he's very plotting and clever and I like this guy's take on the Sinestro character like Sinister is literally a part of his name. It should be something that that you feel and Ulrich Thompson is doing did a great job with that in this episode. So just a ton of entry. The hug on here. The Hector
Hammond fake is pretty interesting. Hector Hammond, I don't know, those of you who aren't very familiar with DC and the lantern villains, it's not. It's Hector Gutierrez. Someone that the man hunter decided to have that person kind of take the alias of for, you know, lack of a kind of throw people off the scent. But Hector Hammond is almost like a brainiac type of character who was affected by a meteor and brain grew and head grew and had a whole ton of powers. Basically, once they became fully blown. I know a lot of people don't like to talk about the 2011 movie, but in that movie, Hector Hammond got his powers working on a biopsy on parallax's body and got infected that way. So Dave's been talking about parallax and talking about lantern villains. So it's just really interesting that we get the Hector Hammond fake. Yeah, there's a lot of teasing out of various other parts of the DC world. You know,
two episodes ago, we got a teaser Gotham and maybe some Barbara Gordon theory started floating out there. No, I don't believe those, those theories, but I do like that this feels like a lived-in world in universe that they're building and atreoles done a better job. I feel like the shows, the show has done a great job of building James Gunn's universe more than the movies have. If you ask me, we're four episodes in. That's it to this entire series. And you can't even, you can't even clap back and say that, well, we know who Guy Gar- we know Nathan Philly and in the DC Universe's Guy Garter. Well, he hasn't even been in the show yet. And I already, four episodes in feel like this is like a fully functioning world I'm immersed in. And it feels way too early to do that, but only in the back of my head. It feels normal and way too quick of a way and that's a compliment. Right. And episode five is the halfway point. We're going to be halfway through this season.
No, we are now. Tonight. No, it's only eight episodes. We are halfway through. I thought it was nine. I thought it was nine. I bet. Now, IMDB lied to me. What was nine? Nine was X-Men 97 I thought. Something was nine episodes. Yeah, I'd there's several. I think that's been a nice knee thing. Huh. Maybe that night episode. Oh, that night episode is season two episode one. That's what I see what you did. The IMDB is sneak the bastard. So we are halfway there. Yeah. And we're living on a prayer. You know, the man hunter saving makins life. And if you don't know anything about man hunters in the DC universe, the one thing and the reason why John Stewart couldn't help himself screw in her twice, them because I'm sure they will change forms frequently throughout the rest of this is because they connect with other creatures, including humans through human emotion and touch.
And so intimacy is very important to man hunters. So John Stewart got to go to pound town a couple for him. I'm just giving you all the one liners today. Why are you here? Oh, the fuck you think she's here. So and she wants to tell him the truth in that moment afterwards in the moment of intimacy before you know, as he but she she doesn't because there's you know, there's feelings there. And she knows that once once she reveals who she truly is, that's going to that's going to change everything. I mean, she literally lays out once I tell you the truth, everything changes. Will and that's will or will you will making? Yeah, will making save from cancer by the man hunter and is now stockpiling weird super alien weapons that can
efficiently dice up cattle for for food. Yeah, that was I was like, yeah, you better ring up here buddy with the shield. That things about to get split. I just I like how just like walk. Yeah. The pressure plate moment was a funny moment by the way. Yeah, what a like that's not going to there's no way they're going to do this at the same time. I said about 185. Yeah, yeah. So fun, yeah, it was it was it was fun moment. I do wonder what's next, you know, like what what is what do we have to worry about next as we head into this? So well, plus, I know John John store was smashed into a tree. How flew off? Yeah, just when this one they thought that like basically, you know, despite despite John listening to the guardians and how listening to Sinatra, you kind of felt like they were just kind of placating those two along to kind of feel out the other guy and just when they got to the point where it looked like they were going to work together,
you know, you said it, you know, then we end up having the whole car crash. He lied about the man hunter. One of the funniest scenes though in the whole thing was when he's a first when he buys the scope at the rifle shop and he just leaves the rifle. That's about the whole rifle. Yeah, and then when he's looking through the scope and Hal just flies in and now he's looking up Hal's asshole. Yeah, that is funny stuff. And again, shows a little bit more of their bonding too because they're sitting there together on that water tower they're having that conversation. And you know, basically, I'm sure they're going to come back together on that and it'll work itself out. We just we just need a little more time to get there. Well, I can carry you like a baby or you can hop on me like a horse. No, no, no, no, walk. Yeah, he just climbs down. That's great stuff. So all right, next week you and Dave, you'll get to carry the banner for what happens next with lanterns where I really expect sort of the action in that piece to pick
up as we're getting into the back end of this show and we start to hit more towards the end game here. Excited. But we're going to keep things moving right along and we're going to jump into the trailer park. So I need three seconds of copyrighted music, fade it out into a trailer park. That is a little eclectic today. You guys keep making me pick. You get to pick a number one through six. Four. Oh. That's it. Welcome into the quick little trailer park intro. We have four trailers. We're going to spooky season. We're going to sci-fi season. We're going to a clip that got my heart sad a little bit all over the place and we even managed a World War II period piece. But let's start in Tonny's favorite genre here at September slash October and that is spooky season.
We have Amazon is doing a retelling of the Stephen King classic novel, Carrie. And we got our first look at this modern take of the trailer. Right, it's Amazon. I do believe it's not. I'm pretty sure that's what I said. Yeah. It's Amazon. Retelling the story of Carrie. One of the greatest horror movies ever ever made from the 70s with sissy spacec playing the titular character, John Travolta, a really young John Travolta playing and even evil asshole bully. This is a new take and look on this story, modernizing it up to current times where we are introducing elements of bullying like social media bullying, you know, a homeschool girl and high school excited to be out of her house. We get again, you know, the story has always been about the bullying and her horribly abusive mother.
It always starts with her experiencing her first period and not knowing what it is and freaking out and the girls in the school then mercilessly mocking her and her struggle through all of that. To recover and move forward while her telekinetic powers start to take over and for anyone, you know, I'm not spoiling anything. It's all building to the end of the evidentable snap that happens to her at the prom. There have been many attempts to redo this story. There was a there was a modern version with I think Thorough Birch was the was the lead playing Carrie in the late 90s, early 2000s. There has been the rage Carrie too, which may no god damn sense. And this is the latest attempt. Tony, I know this isn't your jam. I know this isn't your genre, but looking at this, how well do you think they've done taking this story and moving it to a
modern audience? Something from the 70s now into the 2020s as we're here in 2026. No, that's kind of the direction I was going to go. I didn't have a choice on whether or not to watch and pick and choose trailers, but there's only me and you or me and Dave. But no, that was kind of what I was going to bring up regardless. And I'm glad you kind of went in that direction. They did do a good job of modernizing it. You know, I don't believe I've seen the original, but I do know the story. And I do know its significance in the history of horror films. So yeah, it should be a looks like it should be a good movie. It looks like it's done well. And we already know this story is good because it's a classic Stephen King story. So yeah, and give me one second. I'm going to effort. I can't remember who's behind, but the director that is doing this, he is awesome. Matthew Willard, by the way, continuing his career resurgence is the principal here.
And I just, is it wrong that I'm just happy to see him? Mike Flanagan, Mike Flanagan, he's put together some great spooky horror series previously for the aforementioned Netflix among others. But it's not like you can see Matthew Willard kind of he's kind of become one of these actors in this career resurgence where people are like, oh, look at him. How great is it to see Matthew Willard again? Good job. I'm happy. Shaggy got more jobs. Rock, rock, very. Right. So from horror to the horrors of war, we move into a Netflix film that really caught my eye. Maybe it was a series. I can't remember yet. I'll have to double check on that one. But there's a, have you ever heard of the movie Small Soldiers? It was a family film in the back in the 1990s starring Phil Hartman, where these these toy soldiers like Come the Life and Terrorize
a small neighborhood. Dennis Leary. I'm pretty sure you know. But Phil Hartman plays the obnoxious neighbor in, you know, one of those obnoxious neighbor roles, Aula, Jingle All the Way and that at one point he's sitting watching TV, watching the history shadow with his wife. But as he's eating popcorn, he's just like, I think World War II is my favorite war. And as bad as that sounds, I have to share that when I see anything based on a true story coming out of World War II, I'm instantly interested. Especially if it's telling stories of people we've never heard of or know. And that's what we got in this trailer for the film Miscito Ball, which follows the tale of a soldier slash football player and his life, it looks like before, during and after World War II, an experience in World War II. It gave me shades of saving private Ryan as there's a storming
of the beach, whether it's Normandy or otherwise. There's a lot of it's very much clear that this is going to tie to football. Like that was very much a theme within this trailer. And I just, I found it really interesting. And you know, we don't often talk about stuff like this. Right? Like we don't talk about these kind of movies. And band of brothers, by the way, back in the day on HBO, used to love watching that, saving private Ryan, one of my favorite movies of all time, Bill Scarsgard, by the way, in the primary roles, as well as the Sandman himself, Nicholas, Galas Galen, I can't get it right. But you know, follows the story, it's after poor, it's after Pearl Harbor, four star college football players joined the Marines. And it's invading Okinawa. And they played in a historic game of football with some legendary players.
And for many, it would be their final football game. Match, as it is said in the description. This looks interesting. I think Pat McAfee's in this. Really? I think he plays a drill. I didn't go through the whole cast. I think he plays a drill sergeant in it. I don't know how big of a role he has. I just heard, I just heard about that. You're supposed to be really good. It's coming out in theaters at the end of October. And it'll be premiere on Netflix at the end of November. So they're having enough of a release in theaters. They can qualify for awards. I would imagine. So they must have been in this one at least that much. They don't release all their movies in theaters. But it's funny, as much as I like medieval-ish kind of like game of thrones, that's kind of war times. And I like wild west kind of shootouts and different stuff like that. And I don't, I'm not a modern war kind of guy. I don't really like those movies as much.
I have never watched saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers. And I'm not like the modern more movies like Black Hawk Down and Things of That Nature. They don't really intrigue me that much. So it looks good. I'm sure it's going to be good, but it's probably something I won't watch. So you're old for two, pal. I mean, I don't know if I'd call it old for two. It is what it is. I'm all for that. We have what it treats us. And you just don't like good movies. Or series. So, all right. Well, I'm going to move on to our next one. This one wasn't a trailer. It was a clip. But it is a clip from the upcoming film Optimus Prime Awakening. It is an animated movie coming to theaters. And it is the final vocal performance by Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. I was not present for the episode where we talked about the passing of Optimus of Peter Cullen. That was part of my time away. I did, you know, hear the tributes on
that like triple whammy of a week because we lost Dolly and we lost Cullen and we lost Tim Curry all within the span of like four days. And that was brutal. And this was just a clip. Optimus Prime running away from Soundwave. And it sure sounds like they got the same guy that the voice Soundwave to do Soundwave as well. Because he sounded exactly like it. And in the moment where Optimus looks like he's going to get some reinforcements in his quarter, he comes face to face with an evil bumblebee. I'm sure there's some reason he's evil because bumblebee is his the consummate good guy out of the Autobots. He's not himself. His eyes are red. He's wearing this decepticon logo. It's like, ooh, what's going on. But for me, I'm going to watch this movie because it's the last Peter Cullen performance that I'll get to see on a movie screen. And so unlike some other ones,
Transformer films that have come out, I'm all in for this because of what it is and who voiced it. So Optimus, I'm hoping for a true trailer soon. And when we get that, I will absolutely be sharing that again for us to talk about. See like you and DJ did the episode about the anniversary and everything. You guys are a little bit older than I am. I was like a fan, but I never really watched. I was like too young. I like had the toys and didn't really know the stories. And I just, it's just not my, I'm not into it. Like I was different other things in that genre as a kid. But I get it. I totally get it. You know, they made tons of money in the movie theater and now they're still putting out good content. So. Well, that's a thing. The thing about this and it was very much like children of a certain age in from like 82 to about 87 when that those shows right there peaks. I talked about this on the 30 minutes episode with DJ,
which you know, if you didn't listen to that, go back and check it out in the archives. It's really, I'm really happy with that conversation. And I thought we set a lot in there. When Hasbro set forward to put GI Joe and the transformers out as products and toys for people to buy, they took a genius three prong approach that captured an audience of children and they grossly underestimated its audience and how they would respond to it because they produce these toys. Well, they then in marketing the toys were like, let's put out in a company series, but let's do it with Marvel animation and Marvel animation outsourced her den outsource, but they worked with a Japanese animation company to make these cartoons and they hired story writers to and said, right, whatever you want about these characters. And then they did the same thing with Marvel comics.
And Marvel comics also got to tell right these stories for GI Joe and the transformers. And the original cartoons like they would have five episode story arcs, honey, where like you really as a kid were like all in on these characters. You loved your heroes and star screen was a piece of shit and Megatron was horribly evil. And you know, sound wave was like sound wave turned into a boom box and like would fire out cassettes that would turn into mini-shrooms. And he was a bad guy, but you're like, he's cool and he's the real problem because he was like utterly loyal to Megatron. It was so great. And it has pros like, well, this is great, but we want to sell new toys. So we're going to redesign these and hey over here. And I think I got the company wrong sunco with or something like that was the name of the other was the name of the animation studio. They're like, you got to you got to kill Optimus Prime and get rid of some of these older models so
that we can introduce these new models in the movies. And the company was like, okay. And then they not only killed Optimus, but they like killed him in the most dramatic heartbreaking way possible to where children were wailing in theaters. And that character no matter what version, you know, Peter Cullen gave that character life with his voice. And it's the same thing oddly enough, even though the animation is shit and the characters are kind of silly, but the voices of he man and more importantly, Skeletor like kids loved those characters because those voices and those character actors, those voice actors gave those characters life. And that's the thing that excites me about this is the last chance I'm going to have to see it. And to hear something original. So yeah, I'm 100% on it on this, but I understand like if you were a little bit past that, you were in Thundercats land. You were in even further along if you're in the late 1980s, early 90s,
you're into duck tails and chip nails rescue rangers. And I don't even know what you watched as a kid. The real ghost busters was a past the the 80s, the muppet babies, stuff like that. So very different. The Wild West, the Wild West, the Wild West Cowboys of Mou Mesa. Yeah, yeah, I remember those. What was the name of that show though? I know what you're talking about, but I can't remember. The show because I'm old. I'm 48. Yeah, chip and Dale's rescue rangers was good. Do you remember the big cat? I think it's a cat. A manteye, right? Oh, you're thinking of the mouse, Manteye, who loved cheese. Oh, he's a mouse. Yeah, mouse. Yeah, okay. He was a bit of a big mouse. Yeah, he would go. Yeah, the serious cheese addiction. Yeah, jeez. Yes, and he would all freak out, but the bad guy was a big black cat. He's a big cat with a big curly, best asses in the fat cat. Yeah. And he was one of the bad primary bad guys that we were running to all the time.
All right, we're going to wrap up with a really brief. We got a new teaser trailer for Vision Quest in and when I say new, it is 30 seconds long. Yeah, that's quick. There's not a lot of new stuff revealed, though we do get a lot more look at the sort of the family side of this and what vision is trying to figure out. And you know, if you've been following us with Vision Quest, you know, and this has been revealed that vision, when he became white vision at the end of one division and took off, he went and it's basically trying to figure out his place in the world and who he is. And he talks about how he used to be a hero, but he's no longer a hero. And there's all these programs in his circuitry, which was laid out for us in Avengers Infinity War. Bruce Banner talks about it. And within his circuitry, Ultron is the one that's really pushing him and challenging him. And in this vision is like, I don't have a family in Ultron's like,
are you sure about that? And we get another look at Wicken and that reuniting of vision and Wicken, which I think is what we are hurtling toward in Vision Quest. But this is about finding an identity and reconnecting with a family. That's the one I looked at. And that's what I got out of this 30 second trailer. I've been doing a lot of talking this trailer, Park Tonee. So what do you got, buddy? I think when we look back at comic book streaming series, and that's kind of how I'll classify this, that the the overall piece of artwork done between WandaVision, Agatha, Long, and Vision Quest, it's going to be regarded top five, maybe top three, maybe the best ever, depending on how good this is. Because I just think back to WandaVision, we all thought was excellent.
What they did was so cool going from decade to decade and covering all of our past TV watching. And then Agatha, Long, was so clever before it even started with the renaming of everything and then coming back to Agatha, Long. And now to have real life Ultron James Spader to be is just like a bucket list kind of thing. James Spader is so amazing. I can't remember his character's name on Boston Legal, but he was excellent there. He's amazing. And Robert California and Patrick's favorite show, the office, among other things, Black lists and another number of roles earlier in his career. Well, it was crazy. When you look at where he started, he started as a film actor. And I remember him as far back as playing the like the sleazy villain sidekick in Manakin. He plays the manager that's working for the evil department store, tried to wipe out a
stelgetti. And I loved so Andrew McCarthy. We talked about this trailer, but Andrew McCarthy wrote a book about growing up as part of the Brad Pack. And you turned that book into a documentary where he reached out to a lot of the former members. But he also interviewed people who were like tangentially tied to the Brad Pack. And James Spader was like he was in pretty in pink. He was Brad Pack and Jason is the way they described it. Yeah, that was yes. And that's the term that what's his name from Duckie. John Crier. John Crier used. And then who else is the girl too? Oh, Redhead, Caroline in the city. Actress. Oh, Leo Thompson. Yeah, she's also Brad. Well, I wasn't really, but I was more Brad Pack adjacent, right? So great documentary, by the way, as well.
So yeah, I can't remember where that's it's streaming now on one of the services. I think it'll be Amazon. Yeah, it's really good. It's a really good watch too. Right. And the only thing I was disappointed in is before I forget, you guys follow Lou Diamond Phillips on social media. He was at some kind of Comic Con or Cinema Con. Yeah, it's great. If you follow him, he'll follow you back and then you become part of the fold fans of Lou Diamond, FOLD, which I love, but he posted a picture of and I can't remember everybody that was in it, but it was the original young guns. Not the second movie, the first movie. So like, so he for so the Muleos standing there in the front, like kneel down a little bit kind of going like this and then the rest of them are behind him all of them. Charlie, Kiefer, Blue and then a couple other guys. I can't remember that. Was Christian Slater one or two too? He was too. I begged my dad to take me to gun guns too,
because even at that age, I was a John Bon Jovi fan already and I do. He was. Please glory man. He actually, that's my dad bought me that cassette tape because of that song. But then I had to go back and watch the video where he stayed in on the mountain. Apparently, there's going to do a young guns three. Apparently they're going to do a young guns three. So they like from from the nursing home. Well, I mean, they could do some kind of, I don't. Hey, man, come on. I know. Whatever, they're turning point break into a series. Whatever. I'm going to go get a pair. You keep on. All right. Well, well, now I got a riff, but I need you to take us to commercial before you go get your beer. With additives. Why? Because you're smarter than average fans. The Cherschart.com. Always use your head. Callston loved ones still doesn't have a target. It's annoying. Welcome back to fantasy football, Patrick. I didn't see this is why I didn't want to because now I'm still paying attention to getting pissed off more. And by team, it's tied to 24 fucking Carolina. Just a brief interlude here because it was a shorter show today, two guys, a few less topics to discuss really. But I have the opposite like I there's been a couple times where I've had a year of a break of not playing just take a year off. And by like the second or third week of the NFL season, I'm watching stats go across. And they're like, oh, this running back had 64 yards rushing and three catches for 28 yards and a touchdown. And I'm like, oh, that's 5.8, 11.8, 12.2, 18, 18.2 point.
And I'm like rattling off the point numbers for fantasy football because I miss it. You know, so it's a horse a piece. I mean, fair. I will say as I'm looking at other ones, Lamar Jackson being 10 to 15, 214 yards touchdown. Those by feelings. Just got to know what? Oh, he's just get another one. I think so. I just saw two. I see Lamar Jackson with one rushing touchdown, Derek Henry to. And then oh, yeah, and Zay flowers with a touchdown catch. So that's that's going my way. Bears. No, no, that is another Caleb Williams rushing touchdown. God, good for. Can you do it? Did you get someone steal him from you? I didn't steal him from you. I didn't I didn't pick him first. I went with Lamar first. That's right. I'm going to roll back to you. Yeah, you're good. Oh, it wasn't there. So I feel like I made a good choice. And that's fine. What's that? Let's head into the news around the Nurtle sphere, which a lot of this is just going to be like, now that sounds cool. I'm going to rant a little bit on bullet point number seven,
which I may just make bullet point number eight. I may flip them on my my rundown. So I'm sure you read all these articles closely, but we'll start with Tony, I want to ask you a question. Ask me a question, Patrick. What is your stance on movies being re-released into the theater and do you go and see anything that is re-released into with you? Because I do. I do. Freakle. I don't. I haven't. I have never gone to a movie. I've never gone and seen the same movie twice in the movie theater. Not a single movie ever. I've watched a lot of movies 100, not 100. I've watched a lot of movies a lot of times, but all in my comfort of my own domicile. And see, for me, and I've talked about this many times, part of the reason why I'm so passionate about movies is the movie theater going experience and the opportunity to see movies that that are coming back to a theater many, many times. I love going and doing that, whether it's a fathom event or what we're about to
talk about here. See now on the flip side, though, and I've never done this yet either is a lot of great historically great nostalgic movies get re-released for anniversary purposes, right? And and right. Right. Right. You know, like I've never seen jaws all the way through. Like I've seen like the, I've seen the beginning. I've seen the end. I've seen most, but I've never sat on it. And it was in theaters like a, I don't know, it was an anniversary. It wasn't the most recent one. 77 or 76 or 77 somewhere there. Yeah. So it was not one of the recent anniversaries, but there was an anniversaries. Like, oh, maybe I'll go see this in the theater just to see it, even though I don't like that genre. Like, and then here's the flip side, too. There's movies like Avengers and Gate, which is coming out. And here you really, right? I've seen Avengers end game probably a dozen times altogether with piecing it together. How many time, you know, probably three or four times all in one shot. And then, you know, it's on new watch parts, but I never saw it in the theater. So maybe I'll go, but, but I wouldn't go to see that in the theater because it's too long.
I don't, I'm so worried about Doomsday. Like, let's just not let's go where you were going to go. Because I don't want to talk about how we need. Well, we need interventions for movies that are longer than two hours and 30 minutes. If you're gone over to 30, I need an admission. So old man bladder, Tony over here. Can't handle it. It's not that I can't. But why do I have to like, why do I have to like restrict myself for the day during the night? Do I? There's like, I have to follow a routine just to go see a movie. Get the fuck out of town. I mean, kids, do you know how many times I get up and walk away from the podcast while the other guys are talking to go use the restroom like me giving Tony a hard time. But I've been. We do this all the time here. If you do one of these, I'll do this. I like you go and you go. Let's just as we take. But, you know, I mean, like, talk about we just saw Spider-Man. I literally was like, okay, two hours before the movie. I know it's going to start. I'm not going to drink any more water.
I my routine is that I will always. One, you know the movie's not going to start on time because the commercial and trailer shit has gotten way out of hand. But I will, I'll be like, okay, I think now's the time. I will hit the restroom a little low down. And I when we go see we'll hit the restroom once just about when we think the movie's going to start so that then we're kind of quote unquote, empty to get rolling. I do not restrict restrict my intake. Uh, and all that. All that is to say is that that's the thing though. Like if there's a movie that's under two hours, like they used to be, they all movies. Almost all movies used to be between an hour 35 and an hour 55. And if you got a movie that was over two hours, you were like, oh, the movie was over two hours. If the movies two hours or less, boy, I can order a mountain dew and I can get a popcorn and I can do all that stuff because I can hold it for a good half hour at the end of the movie if I need to.
I had the spider man before the last one. I had to hold it for an hour and 45 minutes. Did it. Let me, let me tell you though, uh, back in the day once upon a time, or once upon a time, once upon a time, like you would have these grand epic films into your point. Like I'll, I'll use one of my favorites, fall time, the 10 Commandments, Cecil B. DeMille, Charlton Heston, three hour epic biblical story of Moses. It had an intermission and had a break. What's wrong with 12 minute intermission? Same thing with back in the heyday of musicals, like the sound of music, lengthy, lengthy movie had an intermission to the theater. And when you watch them on video, those intermissions are actually partially included at times. And so you have to kind of fast forward through the orchestral introduction and bring it back. Or like I do take advantage of that opportunity to go use the rest. I missed when movie studios, I missed when movie studios that owned cartoon properties would use to put out like a short.
Before the movie used to get a cartoon short before some movies and stuff, especially those like an adult Warner Brothers. Disney still does that for their movies. Yeah, I mean, that's, I missed that stuff. Nowadays you, you think you could do it cleverly by including like sponsors that basically paid for you to do it. And you sell stuff on top of it. Like it doesn't make any sense. A lot of the stuff. All of that is to say that to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Star Wars episode for a new hope. It's not only returning to theaters, it's returning in IMAX in 7 millimeter IMAX. But I fit the back row of the movie theater. Like there's a wall and you walk behind it. And it's just, it's like you, you're like the neighbor from tool time. Only your eyes can see over the wall. So like you're behind the wall. You're kissing out of your own. And you can watch. Do the ladies come back out? Do the ladies get a room with like a scroll on the other side? Yeah. And so the other side, there's a slot that's about as high as their head would be for sitting on the toilet.
But you can only see out not in. So they kind of look to one way glass, but the men, if you're short, you get a stool. You can get up on it. PC sunny. Not of install. This is movie theater restaurant problem. So you're on the bandwagon. Neither good idea or nor very good comedy. There either I apologize. Oh, I found it very amusing. Oh, okay. 100%. Great. So I enjoyed it. I just, I, I do have a tendency to no sell everything. So that is just a picture. You're, you get up from your seat and you go, you go walk around in the back and everybody's like, he's going. He's being, you know, he's being right. Everybody's watching it. It's like, do we have to treat it like a portable restroom situation too? Is it need to be like a little mob that turns it from green to red so that you know, you don't know. No, it's more like I don't know if the experience is still the same way at Lambo field now, but it used to be in the men's band. Troph. Yeah, it's a trough just. Yeah, which really feel really feel Chicago's. It's the last time I think a thin way still has troughs. You know, it's trough going to bathroom there at a venue like that.
It is almost like going to a Gallagher concert. At some point you're in the splash zone. You really got to be careful. Yeah, you got to watch yourself. And you got to keep your eyes forward, kids. That's that's why they're serious bathroom rules. Oh, I see your back. Get on with her. I see them. None. None of that has to do with seeing Star Wars on the biggest screen possible. I probably am going to give George Lucas and Fox and Disney my money to see this 50th anniversary. It's massive. I wanted. I have never been in a movie theater to experience what my parents experienced because 77 was the year before I was born. So I certainly the only movie star the first Star Wars movie I saw on a theater as a child was 1983. I was five. Okay. Was a return of the Jedi. So I was too. So that wasn't happening. Yeah, I very much remember seeing return of the Jedi in the theaters with my parents at five. And my brother who was one was not there.
So, but I even if it's just for the opening shot of the Star Destroyer chasing the Alder and ship as it goes over your head in that massive iMac screen. Sign me up. I'm it. I'm going to see that. I want to watch that. And again, I want the feels. I want to see that on a big screen because I've never seen it with that full screen and sound like that. No, I get that. I get that. So, I bet you Dave will too. Probably. Yeah, he's gonna be there. The star is like that. I don't I don't know. I probably won't to be honest with you, but it's it. It makes sense why they do some of those things, you know. Can I can I tell you one other film that every time he gets released to theaters, I will go and see the theaters. No matter what. I guess have you seen have you already gone back and seen it since the inception of this show, which is like almost seven years.
Yes, it is it has been released in theaters in the last seven years. Is what what genre of film is it? It's an animated film. Oh, man, snow white in the seven. No. 90s. Oh, Lion King. Lion King. Oh, it's my favorite animated movie ever. The the the on the super. The Lion King. The Lion King on a big screen. Oh, yeah. Is it and when he climbs pride rock. Every time every Niagara Falls, every time at the end. I'm sure it's a good one. It's beautiful film. The story is great. The animation. What's Hamlet? For the most part. I'm sorry. No, no, you're good. You're right. And you're not wrong either. But the animation for its time and the scapes that they set are excellent.
The characters are well vetted out. There's a list of who plays these characters is a whose who, in Hollywood, back in the day. Right. Put the music that accompanies this story in movie. Is like second is is as much as it is. Lao did is still underrated for a score for a movie. It's one of the best ever. It really is, right. 100% I agree. And there's a reason why it endeurs, the way that it does. and re-releases for in theater a Broadway, like the Broadway production of The Lion King with the puppetry and what they did there to make animals seem real like it never ends. And so all of that is to say, Star Wars has moments like that, that feel different on the biggest screen possible as opposed to, you know, no matter how great our sound system is at home or how big our television is, like I can't replicate that IMAX experience
and I want that, I want that out of Star Wars. So that's that's why we get. Haku no Matata. Thank you. It does mean no worries. You know what else I'm worrying about less and less and that is X-Men casting is, it slowly gets rolled out here and there and is our next news story, as it was announced this week that Austin Germain, who was most recently noted for their role in Gen V on Amazon, a series I had never watched and I'm sorry I'm okay with it, but it has been announced that also we'll be playing Angel, Warren Worthington, the third in the upcoming MCU X-Men movie. Here's what I wanna say. I don't know anything about this guy's an actor. I don't know if they're good, bad, indifferent. I don't know. Here's what I do know. It is very clear to me where you're going with the OG OG X-Men. And so I'm waiting for a Bobby Drake announcement. I am waiting for a Hank McCoy announcement. We've got Gene Gray. We've got Cyclops.
We need who is the other OG X-Men? Iceman, sorry, Iceman, Angel, Gene, Cyclops, Beast. So we got two left. We got a Bobby Drake and a Hank McCoy left to announce. That's what I'm expecting now at this point, based on who they've put out there as characters. Yeah, I don't necessarily care who they cast, I don't need them all to be like, I don't need the Avengers cast of who's who of Hollywood. Especially you're gonna bring this back when it hasn't been that long since they've done the X-Men on the big screen, right? So I'm interested to let people kind of find new actors and actresses that may be very popular to some people and not to others. So I'm good with that. I think it's gonna more end up being what stories they're trying to tell with the X-Men and what's going on with Secret Wars at the time
and everything else is really gonna be kind of pretty intricate to it. I also just wanna remind you all all this casting means that these casting nods to the Fox X-Men. Goodbye, they're all fucking dying. Like, Doom is killing them all. Well, they said they wanna simplify the, they wanna go back to one world here. Doom's Day is kinda gonna simplify the MCU again. We are trying to fix this shit. Yeah, like, you know, and also the dragon season four, the dragons are all gonna die, you know, in Doom's Day, all the timelines are gonna die except for one. So there you go. Right, there you go. So, all right, I'm gonna, I said I was gonna flip flop this. I'm definitely gonna flip flop this. You shared this story in our group chat, but it has been released that according to Stephen Knight, in an article that you shared that came from Variety originally, we know that Amazon has the rights
to the James Bond franchise and the next film effort. According to James Knight, that first draft of a script is, or Stephen Knight, sorry, that first draft of the script is done, which means we're one step closer. There's also rumors out there that the new James Bond has been cast, who we haven't actually had done announced yet. Toney, I enjoy a good James Bond film. I'm always interested in what's next. What is your level of interest in the next generation of James Bond? And who is your perfect James Bond to be filling the suit? I've only seen one James Bond movie. Really? Which one? Oh, Casino Royale, I think it is. Isn't it? Which one? There's two. Whichever the one was the early 2000s, I think it was what's his name's first one. So the new era. Yeah. Yeah. Daniel Craig, right? That was his first one. Daniel Craig.
Correct. So the only reason I watched it is because I needed something to watch on a flight. And it was good. It was fine. I don't know. I just never got into James Bond. I'm always interested to see who's going to get cast. Though, that's, I think that's poor. I think whoever was writing this story was maybe looking more into like getting a peek into what type of James Bond this story was written for to kind of get a better look into who could possibly be cast as James Bond, right? Right. For years, we've talked about, will there ever be a James Bond that isn't white? Could we have a female? Could we have Jamie Bond? You know, could, you know, or whatever, you know? So I don't know. I think there's a number of options that you could go with. I think inherently a studio, although of Amazon, if anybody was going to change up and not have a white male James Bond, Amazon, I think would have the least road of repercussions from an audience. Like a lot of big studios would be like,
well, why do we want to piss everybody off with a, you know, a brand that sells no matter what, just cast someone that everybody's going to like. So I don't know. I think the story more or less is what true Bond fans are looking for. I think a different type of bond would be good. We've had the basically the same type of bond. And you know, you James Bond fans can come at me at, at its me DPP if you want to yell at me about all that. Different each of the James Bond characters are, but they're all basically middle-aged white men that can handle their business and they're pretty street smart and have a lot of gadgets. So am I wrong? Was that pretty close? No, it's pretty, that's pretty on. Most of them are good with the women. So, you know, and that's the, we'll see what it, when it happens. I enjoy good James Bond movie. I love the gadgets. I love the trickery. I wouldn't let die. Living that die helped create one of my OG crushes of all time because that was the first movie James Seymour and my God, who she gorgeous in that movie.
I don't know necessarily that. I think, I think a spin-off series of movies or a spin-off series with a female double zero agent would be more than appropriate, but I don't think making, just saying that like Jamie Bond is James Bond. Like, I don't think you can just go ahead and say James Bond is a girl. I think like that's a different avenue to go out onto. On the other hand, I would like to see a non-white James Bond. Yeah, I think it would have been, I loved the Eager's elbow. Rumors back in the day. Like, when it was rumored that he was going to be the one to take it. Honestly, like an Indian, like a Bollywood James Bond would like, I think really trans, like honestly, I'm being honest, I'm not even saying. I'm like, I look like that style, a little more style and flair to it. I mean, yes. Little more dramatic. Yeah, I can work. Cool. Well, let's talk about something that makes me mad. I want to wrap up the show because I just don't.
It's a 90 sitcom. No, no, no. I mean, it could be. Are we playing the $25,000 pyramid? No. What we are playing is how in the world is Disney not know what to do with the Muppets? First order. If forever playing, if forever playing $25,000 pyramid. And I give you the clue, 90 sitcoms. You answer the answer for you when you're sitting in that chair with a wall to your back is things that make me mad, OK? Right. Things that make me mad. Yeah, it's really rough. But here's another thing that makes me mad. So Disney, and so we're, we're came out today after Disney's Muppet Show special with Sabrina Carpenter wins multiple Emmys. Clearly as an audience, there's a real passion for it. They're marketing the shit out of Muppets everywhere. You can find them. And yet we learned that there are no active plans to actually do anything with the Muppets, whether it be in terms
of a show or a series or a movie like because they don't, they can't agree on what to do. They don't know what to do with the Muppets. And I'm like, what are you talking about? We do. We know what to do. Make another fucking Muppet Show. It just won Emmys. Like, and it was, and it wasn't like Spider-Man noir, right? Where it was incredibly wonderful, incredibly expensive to make and its viewership went down. And maybe that's what they're concerned about. I don't know. Make more specials. Make another Muppet movie. Fuck, just take old Disney movies and replace the live action characters with Muppets and see what happens. That's one of my favorite gag. You got a three. What do you have? I have a three pronged approach. This is how I would do it. If I was in charge. I'll have the transformers. I would have every, I would say twice a decade, I would have a new Muppets film.
OK. Yeah. It's a reasonable schedule. Once a month, I would have the Muppet Show special. And that way, you can just have a show that's in the winter. You can just have a show that's in the summer. You can have a show that spring just happened. You have a good show that's Halloween. You can have a show that's holidays. You can have a show every month. You can do it something different. You can do that for years. And then I would have whatever 20 to 26 episodes of animated Muppet Babies every year. They brought back the Muppet Babies briefly. I don't understand why not. I came up with it. I mean, like that's just perfect. Because twice a decade, you can bring in different stars or maybe a star gets a couple movies and really connects with the Muppets. The monthly thing is also live people, which is easy to do and do content because it's once a month. And it's special, like you said.
And then to me, the Muppet Babies thing just connects with not just the littler children, but a little bit clever. And then the adults who grew up with it, too. I mean, when your world looks kind of weird and you wish you were there, you just close your eyes and make believe it. Suddenly, it's everywhere. Like, Muppet, Muppet, baby. I just, it's so fascinating to me to see a company. And I think this is a real problem with Disney in general. Like, how many times we talked about how Disney fucks up a Star Wars property or a Star Wars series? Like, why? How is it that you can't, it's one of the most creative companies in the world when it comes to certain times of entertainment. Can't figure out some, what I would consider lay ups. Why aren't Kermit and Miss Piggy hosting the holiday parades as like a secondary, like, you know, like they have the regular ones? And then you can have a secondary thing where Muppet, you know, that'd be amazing. Let me tell you one of the most popular things in Disney world
right now is during the holidays, they have holiday parties at two of their parks. They have Mickey's very Merry Christmas party. And then they have Hollywood studios, Jollywood nights. And Kermit and Miss Piggy host a holiday variety show as part of the party. And it is one of the most well attended pieces of this. Everything they do with the Muppets outside of, like, even this entertainment stuff, I feel like they're just making it harder. I also feel like they, you know, in sort of exing away some of the, like Dave Golds, who's the voice of Gonzo, he isn't involved in the creative process. I don't think Brian Henson's very involved. Son of Jim Henson, very much and more Frank Oz definitely isn't involved very much on any more other than Linda's voice and puppeteering talents. It's, it's boggling to me, it's bonkers. Yeah, you lend your characters the different things. Like, can you think about like Fuzzy Bear and Gonzo, like interviewing like sports people for ESPN because it's part of Disney, right?
Or Dr. Teezy and the electric band being the ones to like do backstakes with the musical guests for your monthly special. You know what I'm saying? Like you can invade different genres of pop culture with this cast of characters that you have already have. Like it's, it doesn't make any sense. It's crazy to me. We should be getting paid too much money to make the right decisions for this brand, Patrick. I, I, I am here for it and Disney, I know you're listening. So if you want a resume, you just, you know, you send the word. I'll send you a resume. I just told you what I can do, Disney. You don't need the resume. I'll be there as quick as it takes me to drive. Not flying. It's a long drive. Yeah, but that's okay. Yeah, you gotta get the California. I don't know. But you can do it. All right. Can't do in Florida. Like we said, rabbit, the, the like studio and production studio, those, his California. New York? No, up in New York. We got to go up by Dave, huh? Okay. Yeah, you got to go visit Dave. And, and he's too busy, loyering it up somewhere.
So, all right. We promised a shorter show today. We had a lighter agenda. We have gone through all of our news around the Nerdosphere bits, but it is time to just tell everybody what we're watching out there. And I'm going to start this week because I have to share a level of disappointment. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. So, I've long said one of my favorite streaming service discoveries. It's a free streaming service. So it's not one I had to buy or pay for and I'm okay with the ads is to be. And I discovered this week that the old HBO show Tales from the Crypt. Oh. The whole run of Tales from the Crypt is available to watch on to be. And I'm like, little low down. You love horror stuff. Let's check out Tales from the Crypt again. I like it. We watched that first episode. He was like, it was fine. And like, fuck you dude. Get out of my living room. You're, we're supposed to, we're supposed to share this together. We were going to bond over Tales from the Crypt. And he was like, I mean, it's that he gave you, it's that he gave you exactly what you
created in difference. I did. He gave, he gave me a little low down. That is exactly what happened. I on the other hand, and very, very excited. I forgot some of the people who guessed start on that. Like, Demi Moore did an episode of Tales from the Crypt. Because like, and I forgot that. And what I saw was like, oh yeah. Dating to Vito did a couple like, there's so many Arnold Swartz and Ager dig one. I think he directed an episode. Tells from the Crypt. It's, it's a lot of fun. And if you're looking for a, a fun sort of more dark graphic twilight zone sort of show. Tales from the Crypt is your cup of tea. And last but for seven seasons, John Casseer as the voice of the Crypt keeper who would do these little vignettes before and after the episode was always the best. We had these terrible pun, dad joke level things about whatever happened to the main character we were talking about. Love, love that show. And I've added it to my 2B watch list.
I'm still watching Ted Lasso, Ted Lasso. Already six episodes into this new season. And I kind of, I've been like, wow, it's kind of trucking right along. And still need to tell myself to get in dark matter. And then after we podcast today, aside from football, I think I'm going to bite the bullet and watch Supergirl. Now that it's my age feeling. I'm good up. I forgot to watch it for Dave and give my review. I'm sorry. No, no, no, it's probably better. To be honest with you, Patrick, why don't you just wait and watch it the week before leading up to when you come back in two weeks because then I will also wait. And then we'll have both watched it and can talk to Dave about it because I know he's dying to talk to us about it. So it's up to you. I don't know if they ruined your plans. Dave is an ardent Supergirl supporter. Just because you're not here next week and then we're bowl. I think we're all back the following week. But I also see net on there. I was like, shit, I wanted to watch that. But I was like, you know what? It's kind of good. I didn't because I think the three of us could have a good conversation about that and
that direction of DC, especially like in two weeks will still be talking lanterns as well. So, um, true, true. MasterChef is in its two part finale. They did the first part last week. It's just another great season. Killtony. I always talk about Killtony. He has two comedians on one comedian. Two comedians are three comedians on the panel, usually two, most of the time. It's special if he does one or three. And then brings out different bucket polls of people trying to do comedy. And it's a great fun show. It's on YouTube. It's free. It drops every Monday night. But they had a really special couple of guests. Harry Maddie who's one of the top growing comedians in the world. If you haven't seen Harry Maddie, look him up and listen to some of stuff. If you love comedy, he's absolutely amazing. He is from Estonia and paired him up with for the first time ever in the 12-year history of this show. The other panelist that night was Yakov Smirnov.
Yeah. Wow. Legendary Russian comedian who is one of like a dozen people to have an actual huge big neon recognition at the original comedy store in NLA with Mitzi Shor. The guy was so smart. He went and built his own theater and Branson Missouri. He's had more than six million people walk through there. So what a fun episode of Killtony. You have an legend like that on there. And then I lost a lot of my time the last couple days to a free release on PlayStation Plus. If you're an online gamer, you get free games every month and MLB the show 26th. And I jammed the shit out of that for a couple days because it had been a good half decades since I played a baseball game. So nice. Really enjoyed that. But yeah, can't wait to come back. Talk more lanterns and hope everybody has a good week. Yeah. And I would like to echo those sentiments.
Yeah. So Dave will be back next week. I will sound to be gone. But that's okay. That's going to do it for this week's edition of bandwagon nerds.
