The Golden Knights scored the game-winning goal Monday on a contraversial no-call on an apparant icing with about 5-minutes remaing. Ivan Barbashev rushed the net after icing was waived off and Pavel Dorofeyev found him in front for the game-winner. The Ducks thought it was an obvious icing and stopped playing while Barbashev scored the game winner. Brett Howden scored earlier and Mitch Marner added an empty netter. VGK won game 1 3-1. The Golden Knights were controlling the game for the most part as they shut down the Ducks power play. The Ducks were 0-for-5 on the man advantage. And, we talk about how minutes were distributed for VGK in Game 1.
