The Indianapolis Colts just signed a former Notre Dame basketball player named Carson

Tout as a tight-in prospect, even though he has zero football experience.

This 6'8", 250 lb. power, forward wrapped up his college hoops career last week and inked

the deal just 10 days later, right.

On the first day of the NCAA, A men's tournament, Tout built his resume at Northern Arizona

over 6 years, including wretchers seasons and an extra one from the pandemic.

He led all of Division 1 with 12.9 rebounds per game in the 2024-2025 season, earning

all conference, honors.

He then transferred to Notre Dame for one final year, grabbing 9 boards per game there.

Fans and scouts see shades of success stories like, pro football Hall of Famer, Antonio

Gates, who jumped straight from basketball to tight-in stardom.

Closer to home, the Colts struck gold before, with Mo Allie Cox, another ex-college

hooper from VCU, who became a top blocker and is earned over.

$25 million in 9 seasons.

Tout always had a football itch growing up in Gilbert, Arizona, but focused on hoops

as his body developed.

By his last eligibility year, NCAA rules blocked any college football shot, so he bet on his

physical tools translating to the NFL.

Now the 24-year-old Tallah's skill player on the Colts roster is diving into the challenge

head first.
