Bayern Munich Pursues Phil Foden, Man City Fights Back

On March 31st, Bayern Munich has their eyes on Manchester City's homegrown star, Phil Foden,

with plans to chase him in the summer transfer window.

The Stadport kids have been benched in four of City's last five games,

and his playing time has dropped off lately, sparking talk he might want out.

Word is, Bayern's coach Vincent Company, who played with Foden before,

is pushing hard to bring him to the Bundesliga.

Reports say Foden's feeling frustrated with his role at the Eddie had right now.

City aren't sitting back though. They ramped up contract talks during the international break

and feel good about locking him down before the season ends.

Pep Guardiola still rates him highly, even with the deep squad and tough competition.

Foden's notched 15 goal contributions this year, mostly goals,

and his deal runs to 2027, but a new one could stretch to 20.
