Bears Make Strategic Moves in NFL Free Agency

With the NFL today, March 17th, the first wave of NFL free agency has wrapped up,

with teens across the league making plenty of moves. The Chicago Bears stayed active,

but skipped the big splashes, opting instead for smart, low-key additions at key spots.

General manager Ryan Poles brought in safety, copi Bryant, linebacker,

Devon Bush, wider receiver Khalif Raymond, and offensive tackle Jedrick Willes.

Junior. They also traded for center copi Bryant to bolster the lines.

A handful of Bears players resigned with the team, including offensive lineman,

Theo Benedett, Braxton Jones, and Jordan McFadden, plus defensive end.

Daniel Hardy and quarterback Case Kingdom, that keeps some familiar faces in place.

Several former Bears landed elsewhere, like safety Jaquan Brisker with the Steelers.

Kevin Byer joining the Patriots and linebacker Tremaine Edmonds.

Signing on with the Giants. Others went to teams such as the Cardinals,

Colts, and Falcons. Plenty of experts remain unsigned, including offensive lineman Ryan Bates,

defensive lineman Andrew Billings, running back Travis Homer, and,

minebacker, Jalen Reeves Maven. With training camps still months away, more deals could happen soon.
