More than 2,000 wrongfully convicted people have been exonerated in the United States since 1989. That’s more than 19,790 years of human life lost needlessly to wrongful conviction. VICE’s new series, “Innocence Ignored,” aims to tell the stories of those who had their voices silenced, and to examine the flaws in the system that made these tragedies possible. In this episode, VICE's News Editor Matt Taylor speak with two of the producers on the project, Lydia Randall and Lara Fernandez.
