Hilton, for this day.
We're here to tell you the guys that you should be paying attention to this year for the University of Georgia.
You are locked on full dogs.
Your daily podcasts on the George of Bulldogs, part of the locked on podcast network.
Your team every day.
Welcome back, everybody.
This is locked on Bulldogs, part of the lock on podcast network.
Your team each and every day.
He is Daniel.
I'm Clint and together we are locked on Bulldogs part of the number one podcast network of the world.
Today, we're talking about three things.
We're going to let you know some grievances in the third segment that I have with certain van base
that doesn't understand things don't come to you as simply as you would like.
Secondly, Daniel is going to give you a his guy.
We're both going to give you in the first segment our guys that we want to see accelerate this year.
And when they do, we get the brag because we called them our guys first and how the draft goes.
So let's jump into it.
How the draft goes, it's fairly simple.
Daniel might take a snake draft approach in which we get to select the guys in which we are going to cheer for.
Unashamedly and when they have, I don't know, four touchdowns against old miss, I will get to say loss and lucky is in fact my guy.
Daniel like what you get to say when a larger Griffin breaks the sack record for UGA in a season.
He gets to say I was on it before anybody else.
He's my guy and we listen to him give flowers.
Daniel, catch people up.
Tell them your guys that you have so far.
So they know he's not going to break the sack record because the mayor's williams going to be stealing all of his sack.
So, but I got a mayor's williams and a larger Griffith combo on the defensive line.
I got one Gaston on the offensive line.
My team's big.
My team is angry and they're not to be trifled with quite under any circumstances.
And so for my next pick.
I am going to I'm going to pivot back to the offensive side of the ball.
And I'm going to poke around.
I'm going to I'm going to do some investigating and I'm going to see.
It appears that the number one skill position player on George's roster is still available.
Still there.
Right for the plucking quit and so I'm going to be taking Dave Frazier because he's my guy.
First of all, because he's going to be the bell cow of this Georgia offense this year.
You and I both believe that Georgia who led the SEC and run rate last year.
That that's only going to improve this year as the offensive line improves.
And yes, you can lose Monroe Freeling and still have your offensive line improve.
And we will this year.
So as the offensive line improves as potentially the weapons at wide receiver.
If you didn't hear yesterday's episode you can go back and listen to yesterday's episode.
Potentially the weapons that wide receiver not what they were or at least early on.
There's not that continuity and depth that we had last year.
And so we think this offense is going to lean heavily on the running attack.
And as excited as we might be for some of the young talent in this backfield, Clint, there's still no one.
And I think you would agree there's no one who is as dynamic and explosive as Nate Frazier early fumbles last year.
And it seemed like the season was off to a shaky start.
Combine that with Chauncey Bowen's kind of bursting on to the scene.
And it looked like maybe there's a new RB one in the backfield by the time you got to the down the stretch clip.
The games that really mattered the games when things were on the line.
You could clearly see Nate Frazier take his play to another level.
You could clearly see him regain some of that confidence that I think he lost early in the season.
And you saw the burst and the explosiveness, particularly against Alabama and the SEC championship game.
You saw some late in the season against Georgia Tech.
You saw some of that burst and explosiveness that allowed him to be a dynamic weapon out of the backfield for Georgia.
I think you're going to continue to see it in 2026.
And so I think I'm going to have a lot of opportunities to brag on Nate Frazier, who is my guy.
I'm not worried about the fumbles even a little bit.
No.
And that's the only thing you could point to that would worry me.
So what are your thoughts on that pick for me?
Look, I think Nate Frazier is the second best running back in the SEC and potentially could become the best running back in the SEC.
Depending on how the year goes with injuries as well as usage.
I think he has an opportunity to progress tears above where he's at.
Absolutely catapult jump.
We saw a freshman year.
Start as a freshman at running back for Georgia.
Unless he got the juice.
Unless you just bonafide dude.
Okay.
He did in fact do that.
He does have the juice now.
Combine that with years of experience.
Healthy off season eight.
As Daniel pointed out.
We we have nothing but love.
He's.
Oh, absolutely.
With an improved offensive line.
Check back.
Second segment with me.
Because trenches where it's at.
That's only going to benefit Nate Frazier.
I think he's going to have very much more dynamic play calling in the run game.
Because as you and I have chronicled many many times.
It needs to be top in the SEC top three in the SEC for us to have success.
On our stockings going to pick and choose where he finds the explosiveness.
And I think the guys at the water see where they're there.
But no, the bread is buttered by Nate Frazier on this team.
If you're trying to preseason offensive MVP.
There are two names that come to mind.
Daniel has both of them on his guys list.
It's one Gaston and Nate Frazier.
Okay.
Those two guys.
Yeah.
That's it.
So you've you've selected correctly now.
Daniel does doesn't concern you.
Chauncey Bowen is still there.
Oh, yeah.
And well, as a Georgia fan doesn't concern me.
It relates me.
It doesn't concern me.
Because and you mentioned this now.
I want to I want to clarify what Clint said.
Because sometimes the reason.
You know, we help each other out on this podcast or reason.
There's two of us.
Here on the lock down Bulldogs podcast.
I want to be sure that the listener heard what Clint said.
He said Nate Frazier chance to be the best running back in the SEC.
He will not be the most used running back in the SEC.
He will not have the most rushing yards in the SEC.
He will not by any stretch of the imagination have the most carries in the SEC.
Heavens no, but his yards per carry are going to be up there near the top of the list.
I think his explosive plays have a chance to be up there near the top of the list.
And I think overall.
You're going to see how dynamic he is because he's able to stay fresh.
Because it's not just Johnson Bowen's.
Bowen is going to have a thing or two to say.
But this backfield at the University of Georgia.
I don't know if you are aware.
But Johnson Bowen's might not be the second guy in for Georgia.
I was trying.
I was doing a little rope with dope on here.
There you go.
And we think he's great too.
But I'm just here to tell you.
He might not be the second back on this team.
But we know who the number one back on this team is.
That's the thing to me that speaks volumes about Nate Frazier and his ability.
Is he is the unquestioned leader of this room?
He's the unquestioned superior talent in this room.
And I've said it before.
I think he's the best running back.
That it in terms of the highest ceiling.
And that Georgia has recruited since Deandre Swift.
And I'm including guys like Samir White and James Cout.
You know, in that list, running back.
I know who we've had.
Really good backs.
Right.
Like really talented, really productive backs.
But I think Nate Frazier has got a higher ceiling than anyone since Deandre Swift.
And so I expect big things out of him this year.
Clint already gave you a little, a little foreshadowing.
He's, he's, he's, he's team needs some size.
And so he's going to be acquiring that size shortly right after we get back from these.
I'm Clea Butler, host of Lockdown Women's Basketball.
And this is Mazda's Women's Basketball snapshot.
Subriding the work no highlight reel can ever capture.
All four number one seeds.
UConn UCLA, Texas and South Carolina have completely dominated the opening rounds of the NCAA tournament.
UConn rolled with a 98 to 45 victory over Syracuse behind AZ Bud who had a 34 point explosion.
While South Carolina has been led by Joyce Edwards coming up a 23 point game.
UCLA leaned on Lauren Batch with a 35 point performance in a 87 to 68 win over Oklahoma State.
And Texas advanced comfortably with a 40 point show from Madison Booker.
And now we're headed to the sweet 16.
These moments are earned off the clock.

All right.
Clint.
I took.
I drive to my fourth player on the.
The art.
My guy list.
Remind the people of your first three picks.
The guys that you will be beaten your chest for this season.
And then take us where you want to go for pick number four.
Well, it's kind of curious because my guys are simply personality driven
or kind of eye popping to me.
Because my red is also buttered in the trenches.
And I don't have a single trench guy.
Daniel, I got no defensive or offensive lineman on my guys list.
I have Justin Williams, Ellis Robinson as well as a loss and lucky.
And I think they're except those are those are skill call linebackers.
Skill are off ball player for the time being.
I love myself some linebacker play.
Check with me if I double dip on linebackers.
This just in.
I will.
I get there first.
It is a race.
It is a race.
But I need me.
Some absolute big old horses.
Now, Daniel has, I think, the two the two highest ceilings.
Elijah Griffin, who we've already chronicle better freshman season
than Jalen Carter has.
There's even just facts.
We're not.
It's not an opinion.
That's a fact.
Okay.
Great.
As well as one Gaston, who the things I will say this off season when
all is said and done is that one Gaston may be the best offensive lineman
to ever have come through Georgia.
That's where I'm gearing myself up to.
And if you think that's ludicrous go back and watch the film in which he didn't allow any sacks
essentially.
He powered his way through anybody and everybody as a freshman in the SEC.
He's got two more years to keep on doing it.
Some games playing injured by the way.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
He could play guard and tackle.
Yeah.
He is massive.
He is.
But I mean, so those are great.
Now, Daniel.
Yes.
I have a lot of my guys.
And I want to go to, and I think if I may, I'm just going to, I'm just going to offer up to you.
A guy like Drew Bobo should be our guy.
He's not the radar guy.
He's an under the, thank you.
He's an on the right.
Because Drew Bobo is going to be an Cedric Van Pran level offensive lineman for us.
When SVP left, we felt a significant drop back.
Yeah.
Might already be.
Might already be on that level.
You, sir.
100%.
He is our guy.
Because he's everybody's guy.
He is the universal bulldog.
But if I look at the rest of the offensive line, there was, there was two freshmen.
There were.
Let's start the hard ones with the hard ones.
I.
I, in fact, like, let me describe Juan Gaston and then let me tell you, I don't know if we have a clone of him.
But we have somebody eerily similar.
And who the coaches in the SEC thought it was deemed him worthy enough to be an all freshman SEC member.
And that's in fact, don trail Glover.
Don trail Glover played himself one pack of a season.
It was a lot of under the radar.
Juan Gaston got a lot of tension.
Micah Morris as well got a lot of attention.
And we've already talked about Monroe Freeling.
But don trail Glover.
Don trail Glover just silently getting his job done, not talked about enough.
And what I really love about him, Juan Gaston, it is a, it's a massive and movable object.
Don trail Glover on the other hand.
Yeah.
As a little bit more agility to his game than I think Juan does.
A little bit of a zing to it.
A little bit of a zing because he can move.
He can up a second level.
I saw him.
But he has more Monroe Freeling than Juan Gaston.
Monroe Freeling got it to the second levels to block the DB's as well as the linebackers.
Don trail Glover has that same thing.
The two one combo going off.
Getting and hooking and then going to the second level.
He has that.
And I need a guy who has a higher floor.
I think his floor is already stabilized.
He's somebody that can come in that can start every single game.
He's not going to miss assignments.
He's going to know exactly where to go.
This is why Daniel and I are excited for this run game mainly because those two guys are back.
And we think on the interior happens to be if they're on the same side of the ball.
Oh, no, don't don't put one guess in it.
Let's say.
Ernest Green goes to left tackle where he's got experience.
I actually little further we get into this the more I think that's the most likely outcome.
Ernest Green.
He got bumped from from left tackle because of poor play.
Replace by Monroe Freeling.
Don't forget Monroe Freeling also got bumped from left tackle.
Yes.
But then was able to come back and redeem himself this season and earn himself earn his way up draft boards.
I think you're going to see a similar type of move.
You've got an experienced left tackle in Ernest Green.
Don't don't think about a right guard right tackle combo of the two true sophomores.
It might be hard to know which of our guys has made the play because there's just going to be carnage on one half of the field.
We're talking bodies everywhere everywhere.
It doesn't matter where you put these two they're going to wreak havoc.
I think there is a good shot that if they are on the right side of the of the ball.
You and I will be absolutely elated and besides ourselves on run place.
I mean, if it's third and one.
I know the play call like just.
I'll tell the defense the play call ahead of time.
Sure.
Because guess what?
Drew Bobo solidify the center.
They aforementioned Drew Bobo and now all of a sudden.
And by the way, if if you line up don't throw gover and one guest into the two guard spots with Drew Bobo in the middle third and one.
I also know the play call.
Yeah.
The brownstone is free and clear and we're going right up right up.
I mean, the combination of this offensive line has and don't trouble over to me is going to be just a guy who goes about his business.
Doesn't have any attention other than if you're looking for it and be looking for it because when it happens, we will be elated.
When Nate Frazier busts off the 25 yard runs when Nate Frazier gets the third and six and we call the run plan.
You're saying, oh my gosh, Bobo, you finally ran the damn ball.
But what are you doing?
It will be because he knows three of those yards.
Nate Frazier won't be touched won't have somebody contact him.
Because don't trouble over is going to be moving mountains getting up second level.
And I love seeing that you and I are famous for loving second level blocking.
That's why I selected loss and lucky not only for catching, but also perimeter blocking getting up there and doing that.
We're going to come back up to this.
I'm going to let you know.
I got some grievances to air out and it this applies to all fans, not just Georgia fans, but not you listener because.

Before we start telling you all the problems that we have with you people.
I'm an airing all the grievances Clint if I may just if I may jump on a bit of the don troll Glover.
The reasons I think the guys so easy to cheer for and it's worth repeating because it happens so often I think Georgia fans could get a little bit numb to it.
Yeah, that's true, but one of the reasons it's worth it's so fun to cheer for this guy not that it's not fun to cheer for one Gaston.
But the difference between one Gaston and don't throw Glover is exactly two stars two out of the five stars don't throw Glover a consensus three star by the experts and extremely gifted.
It's all that desire you to come behind their paywalls which by the way never be lured behind someone's pay wall it's always a bad situation when you are lured behind someone's pay wall.
What do you think about Georgia this year? I'll tell you it's the white on the ground the corner it's the white unmarked van of the internet someone's weird sports pay wall.
Okay, but I digress the reason it's fun to cheer for don troll Glover is because this is a three star kid this a kid that's over looked this is a kid that was found by Kirby smart.
And company and and they said oh.
We want him we're not interested what kind of camps he went to we're not interested in what kind of star ratings he's received what we see is a kid who is absolutely violent at the point of attack a kid who's got good technique.
A kid who's teachable a kid who's hungry a kid who wants to play football again we could spend all day talking about don troll Glover it's the reason guys like that are so fun to cheer for and why I'm jealous that he's your guy Clint because when don troll Glover succeeds it's yet another feather and king Kirby's cap to say nobody knows how to evaluate and develop talent like Kirby smart.
It's the Jordan Davis on the offensive line it's exactly that it's a comp that is so eerily similar it's freakish yeah and once again Jordan Davis didn't do a fraction of what don troll Glover did in in his freshman season I know it's a different position it's a different roster what blah blah blah and I know that don troll Glover was only in there because of injuries to other people at other positions but by golly when he went in there because of those injuries.
The kid was ready to play I think there's what people don't realize you know this parlay is perfectly if you will and there's some grievances if here's my grievance some fans have forgotten what football is literally some fans have literally forgotten what football is and it's sad it's sad it's disgusting again not you loyal third segment listeners you know what football is but there are fans.
But there are fans out there who anticipate football being immediacy burst and foremost secondly not hard fought it should come easy because football is a zero some game this is my biggest pet peeve with fans they think it's a zero some game and they believe that they know just metrically if we average 35 points per game and the other team averages 13 points per game what should happen is all of those
averages should play across the board at intervals of specific time that is that is good for me so every quarter you should roughly get about 9 points 8 points per quarter if you're and so we should be up 7 to 8 points every quarter and it should increment just go
down the track players should come in as a five star and go up and it should progress simply and easily through that now if I may you may it's your segment thank you I appreciate that that is the laziest most boring most inhuman non-existent thing on the planet and I don't know where people have gotten this from literally an honest it's the same people
who think Kurt Signetti is a better head coach than Kirby smart today it's the same people think Ryan Day is a better football coach than Kirby smart nobody
think nobody thinks there's no there's not a person living in Ohio that could possibly think that they can't eat the brood is the buck I does not the guy that paints his head like the
buck I he doesn't think that there's no Joe clad top 10 coaches entering 2026 Kurt Signetti number one Ryan Day number two okay
to my to my credit yes I thought of the idiots living in Ohio I didn't re I didn't remember that there was a level
be below that I didn't remember that the elevator went to be to we go stand like it's it's not just the basement it's not it's not ground level no no it's not just be one the elevator keeps going down
and that's where you find personalities like Joe clad my apologies you are forgiven Daniel it's disgusting it's horrible it's deplorable all the way through Joe
clad is a joke but this Joe clad has become more of college football fandom than ever should be allowed it should be 0% of sports fandom should
be like Joe clad and instead it's five 10 50 it's climbing an interest and people have no idea that how you become a stable growing that if you
applied the same stupid logic to your fandom to business people friends family you would be bankrupt with no friends family would leave you and you
would be a child because progression and growth and getting better does not come because I want it to does not become a schematics talent is overrated my friends in the
sense that you lane kiffin is what everybody thinks is a genius offensive coordinator he hasn't done anything talent acquisition sure sure yeah good program builder no no no no no no no no no program abandon her you
When a shinier object comes a call in
Kirby smart
Values talent of guys, but
But it has to be the right talent. It's not five stars according to you and I
It's doncho Glovers is Jordan Davis is this guy's who are going to grind into work and to get going and that's exactly
What he has so here's my encouragement to you and I beg you to do this talk to your friends who are like this because you're not because you understand
football
Requires not a zero sum
It is not well. We get a point they lose a point. That's literally not how football works. No, no, no, no, no, okay
Football works as in a fight a brawl a
Tuggle war in which you need to impose yourself and keep on taking and keep on going because you can climb up
You can get better
Then the other team even mid game even mid season and those are the beautiful things
And we can go back to 21 and 22 and show you times in which we got better and better and better and progressed
So I'm begging fans stop believing off season is the best part of the year start believing that the weight room
The sweat the weight room don't give a damn it gives no excuses and you only win if you overcome
That's where I need you all have a weight room mentality tell your friends to have there go
Have joe clat have a weight room mentality get in do the work
Georgia is doing that don't believe in all the hype. That's my grievance with some fans
And I know and I don't hate it. You're not wrong
Georgia fans have been spoiled and so sometimes you got a
Yeah, we got a balance from the first round of the council will play out for a couple of years
Don't is that good? No, is it acceptable? No, it's not it's not an acceptable outcome
Don't be quick to react and say a guy like Ryan Day is now a superior coach to Kirby smart
um that
Long-term sustained success is what you're going for you don't want to be the Texas Tex and old misses and
Michigan's of the world new who flash in the pan and then
Fizzle away. No, so don't want that
Check back with me in 10 years
