Ro: Zăpada cădea lin, acoperind dealurile în jurul casei din Carpați, ca o pătură moale și albă.
En: The snow was falling gently, covering the hills around the house in the Carpați like a soft, white blanket.
Ro: În acea dimineață de iarnă, în căminul răsunător de căldură din lemnele arzând în șemineu, Ionel își trăgea cu greu răsuflarea.
En: On that winter morning, in the home echoing with the warmth from the wood burning in the fireplace, Ionel struggled to catch his breath.
Ro: A fost odată un ghid alpin respectat, dar acum, febra și tusea îi răpeau puterea treptat.
