Today'sACT People showering for nightsarättement Feels like we're right out of time Yeah, maybe it seems much harder to tell it right from the bottom You can't leave the dream in the light Don't get discouraged, don't feel break again Make it through another day Make it worth the price we make
God, God says it's better to give it to receive I do my best to do my part Never knew my part, you'd say I'm better than I'd buy a sweet I keep my mind to give my heart Keep up your stim, keep up your faith, baby I am counting on you You know what you've got to do I'm going to jump into another video here Let's see if this won't play I hope we get some sound if we don't have any sound Mike, would you tell me? Welcome back to the show everyone As you can see I am joined by special guest professor Robert Papy
He is a professor at University of Chicago And he is the founder and the top theorist of the escalation trap Which you can find on sub-stack But we're going to get right to the latest developments Professor Papy and that is overnight Iran essentially ambushed US bases It seems that the United States is not going to respond to these strikes That happened overnight We have multiple missiles and drones And there has been zero response from the Trump administration What was targeted where satellite communication systems And who waits as well as radar systems And deployment areas of US troops at El Menad base And then there is some satellite imagery that has come out From September 1st strikes on Jordan Now here is a news report on Trump's response in particular And we are going to exactly how this fits into the escalation trap you hear Trainings, Fox News, I guess we call them a reporter based in Tel Aviv
We know the Kuwaiti foreign ministry called this a violation of the country's sovereignty The event came after President Trump indicated on Wednesday The United States is prepared to strike Iran again when needed We took out all of the new equipment that they tried to build along the straight of our most Some defensive, some offensive We would take it out of our leadership and say can't see it because they have no radar Because we blew it up and we blew up much more than their radar last night It was a very heavy attack last night And we are prepared to do another one and anytime we want Anytime we want a professor pay But unfortunately that time doesn't seem like it's now in Iran Has gone on the offensive here What do you make of this? Now there is reports that Trump is trying to end the Iran war But at the same time they are deploying, they are extending the deployment that Pentagon is of the 50,000 troops That's just the day after a strike So yes, it's the war and then we'll start it again
So we are in the thick of the escalation trap You can even think of it as the middle innings of the escalation trap This is not the ninth inning, it's not the first inning And what you are seeing is a spiral phase of the escalation trap Where there will be pauses, surprise pauses There will be surprise attacks They will occur by both parties, both pauses and attacks But also what you are seeing is in this middle set of innings of the escalation trap Iran is taking the initiative and more and more has the upper hand It's gaining more and more power and it's gaining more and more essentially control over President Trump Because it's putting him in a no win situation
Where if he strikes, Iran will double up If he doesn't strike, Iran is still going to gain power Now to explain where we are in the escalation trap Let me just start by explaining the basic idea Which is the escalation trap, the basic idea is the attacker in this case, the United States and Israel Attack a target country and it's tactically successful because the bombs hit targets and the bombs in this case kill leaders What happens though in an escalation trap is the attacker gets strategically weaker And in this case that happened almost right away within days Iran gained control of the straight of four moves And what I mean by gain control is selective control where it was able through drones, also sometimes missiles but mostly drones And a few missiles in mines in order to selectively control who goes out passes through the straight of more moves
Which essentially is no one except Iran's own oil and then who Iran deems is friendly to Iran And so that's the core of the escalation trap and we've been in this trap for six months And it's a trap, it's not just an escalation ladder because once the stage two happens where the target gains power Now the assailant is in a really wicked problem because the assailant faces a choice It can either accept the target stage greater power or which is a major embarrassment or it can move forward Oh, continue, continue Oh, I'm just going to start up as evidence of everything that you're saying Perfect, I think I know Okay, what he's paused about was this break, this post that he posted it says Iran has launched anti-ship cruise missiles from Sirk southern Iran
Targeting a company of oil tankers attempting to transit the straight of four moves through the southern route under USS Scort According to initial reports, good escorting guys, multiple explosions were reported Yeah, good escort there guys, good escort, good job Absolutely perfect And so it can move the United States can move forward to escalate more And these are the horns of the dilemma and what I call the stage three that we're in now And so, and Iran is in the caper seat They understand this very clearly, I do believe President Trump understands it as well But the problem here is I wouldn't bet on that, I wouldn't bet on it It's a true trap So there's no off ramp here, people have been looking for all these off ramps And what you are seeing is that for six months there have been efforts to find off ramps to the trap of the aircraft
And it's like a bicep, it won't let go And part of the reason it's such a trap is Iran won't let Trump out Iran is not... Now that's the fact, they're not gonna let Trump get away They're putting the screws to it so they're people And they know it, they know it And they know it And they're gonna make Trump bleed, I'm telling you, they're gonna make him bleed They're gonna make him bleed Not looking for peace It's not looking for to give Trump a fig, a face saving fig leaf So that he can go about, Mary Business and we're back to square one, the pre-war status quo Iran's not interested in that at all And that's why what's happened starting in the middle of July Is Iran has shifted from a strategy where they would retaliate for what the United States has done
To where they go on the offensive very often And when they are retaliating, they're doubling down They're tripling down They're not just simply playing tip for tat So this description that you often see in the media now that we're in a stalemate, it's tip for tat That's not the situation The situation as Iran has the initiative and it's gaining power Now let me just say one word about the gaining power part When you say, well, how is it gaining power? It already has four moves, right? Well, the power element you can see right outside my door in Chicago with the rising price of gas So since the middle of July, since this new policy has essentially taken hold by Iran The price of gas has been shooting up because the price of oil is shooting up Notice for the first three, four months of the war Even though the war was going on, gas, the oil prices were muted
And so too were gas prices relatively muted There were a few spikes but relatively muted Part of the reason for that was because Trump was able to talk down the price There were oil reserves that we could put on the oil market, different reasons for that Those have changed, those have changed Starting around mid-July, this is the point where the tension in the supply demand of the oil market is just getting tighter and tighter And what Iran is doing is it's not just initiating violence It is targeting the UAE oil tankers that are coming out through Hormuz And it's also targeting Saudi tankers through its ally, the Houthis And what that's doing is the big squeeze It's incrementally squeezing so that there's less and less oil Not necessarily every day but over time coming out of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf in general
And what that's doing is it's causing the price to go on a steady curve Up, it's a steady incremental curve up Over the last six weeks now, so this is really quite some time And that's why the gas prices are incrementally going up in the United States And this is why Iran's gaining power So Iran isn't just playing tip for tip, it's rising in power And as it rises in power, part of that is influencing across the globe It has global reach, the evidence, American gas prices Iran is the number one factor driving up American gas prices And perversal paper, why is it that the United States really has no way out of this escalation trap? And of course Iran is having a hard time trusting the United States in terms of coming to any kind of peace Because I just read the reports, Trump wants the word to end
But Trump wants in November to go full scale with the reports are always contradictory And of course the US actions have not led to any notice that there's a real puzzle There's a real puzzle for many people around the world Which is, well, if President Trump and Netanyahu, but if Trump and Netanyahu started this If they stop it, doesn't that mean the war is over? Because after all, they were the initial catalyst that started it And that is a very understandable way to think about international politics But it's not the right way It's a smart person's mistake because once President Trump did this Then it takes two to stop this, at a minimum two It takes Trump and Iran Also it takes Netanyahu, but let's just leave Israel out for the moment And so what you are seeing is Iran having watched this movie before
So call a year ago, it's about 14 months ago Trump and Netanyahu again, blindsided Iran and launched a surprise 12-day war against Iran This time attacking its nuclear sites Well, this is now the second time So Iran is not interested here in just getting a ceasefire Because the last time it got a ceasefire, that didn't help Iran The other side, the US and Israel just came right back a year later So the world might like this to stop But the problem for Iran is that it now sees it needs more power It needs more power, not just to produce a ceasefire But to deter the United States and Israel from attacking it in the future Now, the United States and Israel, even though they've come down a few pegs in the last six months They are still very strong states These are not, they haven't become Pipswit states
So if Iran is truly going to have major deterrent power It's going to need a lot more power than it currently has Right now, it has a significant control over the oil coming out of foremove And the bypass, but even maybe half control Because it's still the case that somewhere between 30, 40% of the oil That had been coming out through hormones is still getting out through hormones But even that, there's still the issue of not just control over the control of the oil of hormones But will American bases get rebuilt in the future? And so yes, they've been blasted by Iran But the fact of the matter is, the United States has plenty of money if it wants to spend it On rebuilding those bases and so do the Gulf states Have plenty of money if they want to spend it on rebuilding those bases
And so I'm just articulating some of the key reasons why What you're seeing with Iran is they want to become now I believe a regional hegemon The dominant state in the Persian Gulf Now I don't mean the... Yeah, I have a degree with him That's what Iran is pushing Now that they've got this pact going with Palace I mean with the With the Pack of stand and Turkey and The Gulf states, some of those Gulf states all down there They've been asking and talking They've been leading up trying to get Iran to join Now you might say well, Iran is attacking Saudi Arabia It's attacking these other places, it's attacking Jordan So forth and so on But what you don't understand is that Iran has so far been attacking the bases American bases over there And they're tired of the United States
And so they're wanting a new shift And that's what Michael Wolfe and Professor Richard Wolfe and They were talking about earlier And Michael Wolfe and they were... That's what they were talking about They were talking about this new world power that's coming into focus And that's I think what he's alluding to here Middle East in general So the Middle East in general would include Turkey, Israel, Egypt and Pack of stand I don't think that's quite where Iran's sites are set I think what Iran is thinking is they want to become the absolute preeminent military and economic power in the Persian Gulf here And then have a sphere of influence that extends out beyond that To say Lebanon, the Red Sea, and then also connecting back with the Gulf itself
But what they want here is to be the dominant military power Not just simply a strong, the strong economic power And in order to do that It is underway with this strategy that we're watching play itself out And if this continues for another six months or another year Iran is going to be the regional hegemon of the Persian Gulf Well, it appears for us or pave that that's exactly where we're heading according to Reuters This is what Donald Trump is telling or sources close to him are telling journalists The United States plans to resume the war against Iran with full force after the November midterm elections President Trump will have a window And then he's starting to see the trap and the escalation trap You see here, this isn't just, oh, I attack a country, I'm sorry, I promise I won't do it again
That's not good enough international politics because there's no one to hold the United States accountable for these paper promises They're basically pie crust promises easily made, easily broken in international politics The thing that really provides deterrence here or accountability is military power, actual power And so that's what Iran Okay, what that was, was that what Danny Hyphon, this is by way of video, right, Danny Hyphon and Professor Pape, EAP Iran ambushes US bases, why America has no way out And what Danny Hyphon had just posted here is it's a breaking news story It says the United States plans to resume the war against Iran in full force after the November midterm elections by Reuters
Now sees in kind of complete 2020 vision It might have been foggy about this for the last few years, but it's hard to overlook the fact that Iran essentially as Iran was being attacked when Soleimani, you know, prison from Braggs about killing the leader of Iran's Soleimani He was a military leader and these other attacks from 2020 to 2025 Prison Trump has been, and you know, been bragging about how they can attack Iran almost at will And Iran just kind of weakly retaliates Well, those days are gone, you see, so there might have been a period of four or five years Where Iran was absorbing a fair bit of this hoping that America and then, yeah, it would just kind of come to their senses I don't think that's happening anymore, I think that in fact we have killed most of the leaders who were part of that So we literally, instead of killing the hawks, we killed the doves in Iran
So this is even less likely, and this is the trap, this is why Trump keeps coming back It's why it keeps coming back and escalating, even though we'll go for a few days or a couple of weeks And the media will say, oh, Trump's given up, he's not going to do anything, he's tacoed yet again And then we find ourselves right back in the very same kind of conversation we're having Except each time Iran is a little bit stronger, a little bit stronger And to some extent, what Iran is doing is actually the puppet master baiting Trump You see, Iran isn't deterred by American power anymore What it's seeing is that when America strikes Iran, it can double down, it can escalate up Escalation dominance almost And why would it do that? It would do that to move the Gulf states closer to Iran's orbit
And that is another level of power That's not just diplomacy and who cares for, geez, since really the 1970s for the United States Many of the Gulf states after the 1973 war with Israel Essentially, the United States has made strong relationships with many of the frontline Gulf states And it's happening incrementally over the decades since the 1970s Well, what this is about, what Iran is doing is undoing reversing all of those relationships And this is tremendously to Iran's longer term and even medium term power advantage And that's why they're very happy baiting Trump into attacking Iran more Because that just gives Iran more excuses to leverage and put pressure on the frontline Gulf states
And that's literally what happened this week So this week it wasn't just that they Iran retaliated But the Supreme Leader came out with the statement So today was on the plane, I was sending this out Because the media has decided not to cover Iran's Supreme Leader statements That would be like not covering Donald Trump So were they contemplate whether he's hurt or he's dead but they never talk about his statement? No, we got to pay attention to the fact that this is somebody who's the Supreme Leader of Iran So his statements are not just empty rhetoric, they actually tell us something And that's what my post on the escalation trap was doing And what is it really signal to us? It helps us to more deeply understand his strategic thinking and the strategic thinking of the IRGC Because the Supreme Leader is very deeply part of that and the Iran leadership And what the Supreme Leader has said mostly this week because several statements
But the most important one is he's talking directly to the frontline Gulf states And directly to where are you better off with your security? Are you better off with your security partnering here with the United States and Israel who cannot defend you? Or are you going to be better off in an Islamic relationship? Where this is basically a relationship of Muslim countries against the Western occupier as he is painting this And this is very important to understand because these aren't just empty rhetoric He's not trying to move the stock market around the Supreme Leader This is telling us something about where things are heading And I think we need to understand that the Gulf states right now are up for grabs It's nowhere near clear that a year from now, two years from now
They're going to be very close to America the way they are now here And even now they're drifting away This is great power politics of the first order we're involved in now The smaller states, they've got to start to look which way is the wind blowing here And this is very, very serious stuff because what you can see is America can't protect its own military base It's how we heard time feeding its savers on the carriers I mean, my goodness, British here, this is how America is treating its own forces You can see that this is what Iran is moving into They are taking full advantage of this and it's not just for political talking points It's for power and that's what I think we're missing I think we're just not quite understanding
Iran's playing a power game We just got to catch up Well, if you're going to get the terms of that MOU that the United States has attempted to rip up Actually met, yeah, Iran needs power to do that I really don't think Iran's ever going to look for another signing ceremony with the MOU I think this is, so a lot of folks in the last and I deal with a lot of business people So the escalation trap sub-stack has really been an amazing opportunity to talk and engage with so many people And so many different parts of not just the United States but the world I'm going to be going to Brussels next week to speak at the European Parliament For example, I've got infinite invitations to the Persian Gulf That would be a stop bombing the Persian Gulf I might be able to get there
So I'm just engaging with so many different parts of the world These are part people in business, people in government, people in the media Just plain ordinary smart folks in all different parts of the world And so you really see how what a global phenomenon this war has become And you can really see that Iran, a lot of parts of the world are asking very intelligent questions And they're hungry to understand what's going on here Because they're seeing that this is a completely different situation than anybody was expecting six months ago And they're looking for some clarity on that And Iran is, I also think, really struck by the weakness that this war has revealed in America's logistics systems America just hasn't been prepared not just for a long war
But even a medium war of a few months I mean, this is revealing deep, deep weaknesses here with American military power And a lot of people have just been hungry to understand that I just wish the Trump administration seemed to be so hungry Well, Professor Pei Peir is because it's in a different language I won't play the video, but on August 31st, Iranian general Muhammad Reza Nakhdi said our assessment of the capabilities of the All right, well, I'm going to start another video here in just a second There's a couple of things I did want to share with you tonight, though One is, get a load of this I mean, if this doesn't beat anything I've ever seen in my whole life The Trump met with a bunch of Jewish rabbis today in secret

I didn't know that, thank you Mossad Mike for teaching me something here tonight Uh, at any rate, uh, let's check this out Now the sound quality on this tonight not be too good, so, but listen close Hi, what are you guys meeting with Chess and Trump today? Raby, would you like to say a few words? I'm, I'm a little bit, yes Raby, yeah, eight years meeting with Chess and Trump today? Um, first of all I'm not a rabbi, my name is Joseph Stetman I'm active in the Jewish community in New York, New Jersey for the best part of 20 years Today was an opportunity for the first time in over 50 years for the President of the United States to meet with the grand rabbis Homologous, uh, Hasidic sect, the vision, the visionally visibly Hasidic community, visibly Jewish people such as myself
We had the opportunity to thank the President for everything that he does in the United States And then he got ran off, he got ran off, he wasn't supposed to speak I guess for him But there were dozens of Jewish rabbis had a secret meeting with President Trump today inside the White House And nobody knew about it and that's why when it's that, the bit, when I was just playing you, the clip I was playing you And why you couldn't hear that reporter too well was she came, she saw him, she went running up and started filming him with her cell phone And stuff, nobody knew this was going on, what are you doing Trump? What are you doing man? And why wasn't this announced? I mean most of the time these kind of meetings and stuff are announced, you know what I mean? That's uh, that's usually the way they do things, right? But these guys walking out like out the back door You know, okay, I'm gonna play for you guys another clip here
We are back. Mario took the two interviews I was gonna do, no one interview I was gonna do with Matt Brak and my buddy So I have to get caught up on that one. I'm glad that they did that though because I was able to have dinner with the family So well rested and ready to go. We're joined by our friend returning guest Matthew Ho, former US Marine, former State Department as well He's with the Eisenhower media group, always a good group to pay attention to our friend Karen Kutowski is also a member of that cadre Matthew, it's so good to have you here. Absolutely thanks Brandon. Thanks for having back. Of course of course well. Where do we begin? Trump apparently wants the straight hormones reopened but he doesn't want to negotiate. So where does that leave us Matthew?
Yeah, I mean and that's the talking point as of today coming out of the administration That's just what is vice president JD Vand said as long as the Iranians are shooting at commercial ships. We're not talking to them. I mean you can't believe anything these people say. So what the hell is going on with Vand see there by the way? Oh, this he declaring that it's not a war. You know, and then looking absolutely stupid when one of reporters say you just killed a six year old and bombed the wedding. What do you mean this is not a war? I mean just hit you know I said I was going to straighten your guys up on what's this bombing of this wedding and everything and okay here's what I know and I don't want to get into it too much because it's a little bit. It's very controversial. Okay, but Trump had posted several things about this attack that he was going to you know make him feel sorry it was going to be a big attack that he was going to pull on Iran. And if they did any and he was pointing and hitting that if they defied this attack he claims he's going to hit him with a nuclear bomb or not nuclear he didn't save.
He's going to hit him with a nuclear bomb. He said he said he would be very very sorry and there would be no more Iran. Okay, and that hints that he meant like he was going to obliterate this country of Iran and how would you do that you would have to use a nuclear bomb. Well they in this bombing campaign before the one that hit the school before he did this he had made a public statement to some people and this wasn't he didn't post this but he had made a public statement in one of the interviews he was doing. And he said he said the next attack will make Iran very very sorry and he said it will make I think he said it will make it will be something they will remember. It's what he said. Okay, so now we know that he attacked it was like eight different locations all along the coastline you know and most of these locations said all been hit before.
Which doesn't really make them stand out like something memorable it's like like this is something they will remember but the attack at the school. I mean not the school at the wedding is something that I think they're going to remember. Now I don't know the reason why I say and this is very controversial but I'm wondering and Vance is saying he's going to investigate this right. He's going to investigate this well maybe he better start with Donald Trump. Maybe he had better start with Donald Trump and ask what he meant when he said it will be memorable. Okay, maybe we should start right there. Now like I said it's pretty controversial I have to go there and this is me. Charlie and Florida talking here this isn't anybody you know I haven't heard anybody else posted anything like this but I am I think I saw one tweet out there somewhere someone said something similar to it.
But this is this is coming basically for me and I don't know I mean it's almost like why would you hit this wedding you know of all these attacks they knew where that what was going on there I'm positive about it this wasn't an accident is inability to project any type of independence exactly. We're backing up just a tad. We're not talking to him I mean you can't believe anything these people say so what the hell is going on with Vance either by the way I. Oh this I mean he declaring that it's not a war you know and then looking absolutely stupid when one of reporters say you just killed a six year old and bombed the wedding what do you mean this is not a war. I mean just his inability to project any type of independence exactly exactly yeah not not come across as just an absurd puppet I mean it's like they've got a competition these guys you know him and percent are the front runners right now we've talked about this before rubio.
Rubio so smartly is one position himself as now security advisor so he's sitting right next to the president all the time and meanwhile all these other guys accept the sent of Vance they're the ones who are putting their name their mouth their words to this war and so rubio is in the best position to being if it goes well he can say look I was a national security advisor who was the one who's in charge of all this and it doesn't go well which it's not going and it won't go then he has said what do you know. What do you mean while meanwhile he has the Wall Street Journal and other conservative media Fox News and all of them spinning this yarn about how will mark it wasn't for the war yeah actually what it's it's stunning stunning to see that he's the most well established new conservative in the whole administration and somehow he is the one who is going to come out of this war position to take the republican nomination for president because he doesn't have this. He's a lot of people are staying of all this on him meanwhile his hands have been all over it's all over I mean his pay you know he's display all of his people are displacing all the Vance people yep the Vance people are I mean I don't know if you saw dandriscoll the secretary of the army who was by far the most competent person I think probably at the Pentagon.
Which is I know not saying much in this administration but I mean comparatively speaking I mean he was supposed to be the secretary defense and he got upended because of a meeting between Trump and a Pete Hegseth a fateful meeting at Mara Lago during the transition and apparently Trump was convinced well Pete is right out of central casting so that's how he displays stand risk but Dan apparently Driscoll. Brief the president last week last Friday and tried to tell him Mr. President the war has broken the army we can't transform the way that we were supposed to and apparently the reports that I've heard this from multiple sources and it's now being reported in the media. Apparently the president only wanted to talk about was the goddamn ballroom. It's only one talk about right I mean at that point Driscoll was like I'm out I'm done yeah in the reports all went on to say that when not just Driscoll step down but is the second his assistant also stepped down the assistant secretary of the army step down as well there's I think I was reading the other day there's like 40 or more military people that have stepped down because of Hegseth.
And so far this in the past year anyway I think we got a caller here we're going to bring a caller on Andy and Texas you want to come in here buddy. Hello. Oh okay it looks like we lost Andy. Hey Charlie there. Yeah I'm here I can all I can hear what's the honky and then it went blank. Charlie yeah I hear you. I hear nothing. I get okay Andy I guess we're going to have to drop you man I'm sorry.
Okay here we go all right we got you now. Okay here we go Andy. All right right I just want to tell you doing a fine job on the show and I like the way you show your direction is going. But whoever heard of any president ever having any amount of rabbi is showing up in the White House for a conference or whatnot. And then we got to think about last June 2025 and we got rid of their nuclear power and stuff and they were boasting about it how they they got rid of the nuclear bomb threat and whatnot. And now we're back in war with these people. So I just want to make and I'll be very brief I just want to make sure people understand that the war is what they're saying it is and it isn't anything of what they're saying it is. I don't believe that for one minute and stuff but hey you're doing a fine job I just want to let you know that I can really enjoy your show and I thank you great times. Okay yeah thank you Andy and by the way I just wanted to say these were Hasicic rabbis okay you know the ones with the long curly you know hair and all that you know the all that kind of guard.
There's a whole bunch of them like you know two or three dozen of them walked out of there. It's a big meeting. What up bothers me about this is that it was it was secret you can see them it was walking out of it's what this wasn't something that was announced or they got it see any announcements about they just kind of and they didn't want anybody talking like this they were all walking by and then this the lady was trying to get them to answer and no one would answer her. None of them would even talk to her of course she was a goi oh my guess I don't know but they wouldn't talk to her and they kept walking and finally this one guy. I stepped out and he said I'm not a rabbi but I'm this guy and he started talking to him while he was talking to him then some clown came up and kind of like whooshed him off and he had to quit and he ran back into the group. So it's like he wouldn't supposed to say anything and they didn't want him saying anything. It was very weird it was a very strange very strange thing that I saw there okay I'm going to go back to our clip here and.
Oh okay alright let's bring art and George on then art. Yeah Charlie great job man I want to basically I have to go. By the way before you get started art thank you for that wonderful donation you made last night. It was absolutely fantastic thank you very much. No problem actually the plan is to go to town tomorrow a couple hundred dollar money order and send it in 50 to go to RBN 50 to go for the whole and old game. So I'll be doing it tomorrow. Alright I want to challenge I want to challenge everybody if you got it five or ten bucks if everybody does that RBN is going to be okay. If you don't have the money and you got some silver rounds send them a silver round or two or three you know it doesn't hurt silver works too. Anyway I want to I want to agree with what Andy just said and you know as far as like the clip earlier when they said this was not a war you know I agree with Andy it's not what they say it is.
At this point when we hear the administration saying one thing and then I ran saying something else it's starting to look more like a propaganda war than it is anything else. What do you think? No I've been watching it I've been watching it close I see all the videos I see the bombs I see the I see the damage I saw the damage of the wedding. I see the damage done over in Ukraine I watched the videos all day I yeah there's war's going on it's it's that's a real war. Well you don't think there's some bug a little propaganda going on. Well there's propaganda coming out of the White House. Yeah that's what I'm saying that's what I'm saying. Yeah absolutely there's propaganda. It's all propaganda coming out of the White House everything comes out of that White House is a lie. Yeah that's what I was that's what I was getting at. So we agree on that that's that's what I was getting at yeah because I mean you can't believe a word these people are saying.
I mean if you got everything onto control our ship's fear hit by mines if you got things around the control how is our ran still managing to take out your your radar systems. If you got everything if our end has been defeated why are the hell are you quote unquote still bombing them. Doesn't make any sense. Don't ask me why that makes a good sense or I mean why are we even why are we bombing them if they're totally utterly defeated it makes no sense why are we doing it if we have complete control of the straight of our moves. What for? Yeah so that's why I think that's why I say I believe it's a sheer propaganda war as far as the administration goes. Anyway thanks Charlie appreciate men and y'all have a great one and again folks donate donate donate if we lose our be in. I don't know I don't know what we're going to do. So anyway thanks Charlie. Well we're not going to lose our be in thanks to people like you are and I'll probably send in another donation this week too as well I'll probably I will probably match your donation I'll have to wait I have to wait a few days because my money comes in a different times it's not done coming at the end of the week like yours does I have to wait for a few days before I can make mine but I'm going to probably send another hundred bucks into as well.
So everybody out there we need to we need you to start you know digging in your pockets and sending in some money we got to keep our be in online on active right. Art you don't have to go anywhere hang on here is that what you are you still up with us. Okay arts gone okay but yeah we got to start getting this money built up here people we need to one of the things that you can do and what you're I'm going to probably do is increase my. Monthly donation I've been making a small monthly donation and I'm going to increase that amount and if enough people make monthly donations that's money they can pretty well back on and they got a good idea of how much they they're operating costs are and how much they got coming in every month I highly recommend that people make monthly donations on credit cards. Now are coming out of the bank account or in some form and there they make a steady donation I think that's one of the best ways to go but anything works cash like I was saying absolutely anything all right I'm going to get back to this video here.
You know along with the resignation and in that conversation was this ignorance by the president of anything that happened. Driscoll lays out this is why I'm resigning mr. President you know etc etc etc and see seems to Donald Trump be hearing for the first time that he's that fired you know by the New York Times County of the day he either fired or blocked the promotions of over 80 generals and animals. I mean just doing everything he can to break the system without any purpose or rationale or explanation behind it other than that he doesn't like these people because whether smarter than him they're more competent than him they're more experienced than he is and the only way he can react. And Seth is to basically fire them because he can't be in the same room as them if they're going to disagree with him yeah I mean it really it's it's a it's a it's a it was broken it was rotted it was corrupted before this administration the Pentagon the Army the entire national security establishment but now you know now it's you know and you have to wonder is it recoverable you know or if it is how long will it take.
I mean there is a brilliant surgenius behind what he's set in his click are doing in terms of getting rid of the ones and one and two star generals they don't like getting rid of all the lawyers they don't like and so basically establishing an infrastructure going forward that will then be able to replicate itself right you know so these one and two stars as they advance will pull up behind them. Kernels and cat Navy captains into one and two star positions you know and these will be the people that mirror them meanwhile you have basically cut off the head or the brain or the soul or the integrity whatever you want to describe it of the military judiciary and so there's no reason to stop them there's those no you know there's no law in the way of anything anymore. And you know when he said when he was you know in the transition when he was on with Sean Ryan for instance I agreed when he was saying look the military is too top heavy we got way too many I agreed with that I thought okay that's a smart thing to say because I think we had way too many generals in emeral sitting around in DC okay but and then you know the stuff about woke okay some people disagree with that but the president has always been consistently opposed to that he was the president.
But I don't believe for a second this is about that I think they're firing people who would just say no that's exactly right that's the thing that they're saying oh well they're woke but they're not. Yeah and I think that they have not promoted or they fired generals and admirals who have been black and have been women well that too can't explain it right other than like it is right there's definitely a racial thing there absolutely you know and he's that his own words can dem him for that look at what he said look what he wrote in a book about this type of thing I mean before I mean let alone what he said you know speaking publicly on many occasions but to your point though I think a lot of us do agree that the military is too hot pet top heavy that there are way too many generals and our rules I think you know what isn't one of those stats like the navy has more admirals and has ships right you know yeah yeah yeah yeah I mean go yeah we have more generals than we did in World War II and things like that you know oh I remember as a kid so being a kid in the 80s going to visit the Pentagon and getting the like the little brochure the handout we took a tour all around there I think and then when I actually got station in the Pentagon you know 20 years later or fifth hour of many years later my mom found that and gave it to me and I'm reading through
it and this is like you know Pentagon in 1985 compared to 2002 right and it's you know it's like how many miles a quarter and how many cables of telephone wire and how many cups of coffee or drink every day and it says how many people are working there yeah 23,000 in the Pentagon and at that point you had an American military of more than 2.5 million active duty in the 80s right yeah when I got there in 2002 we were down to about one and a half million yeah the Pentagon had expanded well beyond the actual building had taken over that entire river bank all the way down up to Rosalind and all the way down to the to Reagan airport that is one Pentagon reservation there right to that expansion and right how many and so how many people working in the Pentagon you've lost a million active duty it's actually a little bit more working in the Pentagon right I mean like it's just that's just the reality of these and this is nothing that I think anybody who's taking a survey course on organizations and how they see now they are you know basically living organisms you know right it is I mean I think you're absolutely right I think a lot of us would have welcomed some type of a dissection of Pentagon leadership of the military's command structure are revisiting revamping redoing how the Pentagon conducts itself around the world as well
