Bible Minute - March 10, 2026

Hi, this is Dr. John Newfeldon, you're listening to Back to the Bible Canada's Bible Minute.

First Peter 2 verse 21.

For this you have been called because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example

so that you might follow in his steps.

We don't know what a journey will be like from the first steps, but God has told us what

to expect in our faith journey, we will suffer.

It will be in various ways and degrees, but suffering is common to the Christian, it is

our calling.

We tend to think of pain and trials as intruders, but they are the normal course for believers.

If God did not spare His own son from afflictions, why do we think that we are immune?

The followers of Jesus walk in His path.

You see, He leads us.

He is with us in our trials, and He is also our example.
