In this episode, we have some more news on the congressional subpoena front. As we're now adding,

Leslie Groff, Sarah Kellen, Leon Black, Doug Band, and Ted Wait, the former boyfriend of Glaine

Maxwell to the list. And of course, we talked about Catherine Rummler and Howard Lutnik previously.

So these are added on to that. And again, I don't expect much from Congress,

but it'll be interesting at least to see people get put under oath. And as far as Sarah Kellen goes,

or Leslie Groff, I highly doubt that either of them are going to put themselves into legal

jeopardy by incriminating themselves in front of Congress. So I doubt that Leslie Groff and Sarah

Kellen are ever going to show up. Now, maybe if you subpoena them and you try and compel them to do so,

but short of that, asking them to come. Okay, I guess. But if you know anything about the case,

you know that both of them have a whole lot to lose more to lose than just about anybody else

in Jeffrey Epstein's whole circle, considering the scope and the length of time that they were both

with Epstein. And according to all the reports we've heard, the both of them were key components

in his criminal enterprise. So it's not like those two were just, you know, hanging around.

They weren't just invited to a party. And there's a reason that the both of them

were given protection under the NPA because Epstein and his lawyers knew that they were dead to rights.

If the federal government pursued the case, the way they should have pursued the case,

then everybody would have been charged. So that's why you see them get the non prosecution agreement

as basically a payoff to remain quiet. Now, of course, there was a financial component to all of that

as well. And both of them received a ton of money from Jeffrey Epstein. So I have some doubts

about either of them showing up willingly. And if you want to talk to the core four, my guess is

you're going to have to compel them to be there under subpoena. All right, so this article was

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is among seven people who on Tuesday were asked to testify before

the House Oversight and government reform committee regarding its ongoing investigation into

convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The six others are Leslie Groff, a former longtime

executive assistant to Epstein, Sarah Kellen, another former Epstein employee, Catherine Rummler,

former White House counsel to former president Barack Obama, Leon Black co-founder of Apollo Global

Management, Doug Bande, a longtime personal aid and counselor to former president Bill Clinton,

along with his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, both testified separately on Epstein

before the House Oversight Committee last week and tech billionaire Ted Wait, a former boyfriend

of Epstein associate, co-conspirator, all-around Scuzzbag fellow child abuser and bipedal serpent you

mean, Glenn Maxwell, who attended Chelsea Clinton's 2010 wedding as a guest of Maxwell. And you notice

they say here that Maxwell wasn't the plus one, Ted Wait was. In the seven letters House Oversight

Committee Chair James Comer writes that the committee believes the recipients have information

that will assist in its investigation. Comer explains that the committee is reviewing the alleged

mismanagement of the federal government's investigation into Epstein and Maxwell, ways in which Epstein

and Maxwell sought to curry favor and exercise influence to protect their legal activities

and potential violations of ethics rules related to elected officials. Notice it doesn't talk about

how the DOJ needs to be overseen or how there needs to be a look at the FBI, right?

No, no, no, can't have that, that's what they're trying to protect. They got to make sure the

institutions keep on humming. Even if the institutions are completely broke, the seven were given

testimony dates ranging from April 16th to June 9th, a spokesperson for Gates indicated that he

planned to testify before the committee. Gates welcomes the opportunity to appear before the

committee, the spokesperson told CBS News in a statement. While he never witnessed or participated

in any of Epstein's illegal conduct, he's looking forward to answering all the committee's questions

to support their important work. Oh, what a hero. What a white knight, what a savior.

Give yourself around the Voplaes, Bill Gates. Meanwhile, this idiot has been lying about his

relationship with Jeffrey Epstein for all these years, but all of a sudden he's just so sorry

and he wants to come clean. Jennifer Connolly, a spokesperson for Rumlor, told CBS News that

Rumlor welcomes the opportunity to appear before the committee. At the time she interacted with

Jeffrey Epstein, she was a practicing criminal defense attorney and shared a client with him,

though spokesperson said, she has done nothing wrong and had no knowledge of any ongoing criminal

activity on his part. Well, we talked about her earlier, so we're just going to keep him moving.

It's very obvious that Rumlor was very much closer to Jeffrey Epstein than she ever let on,

and that she's been lying about her relationship to him for all these years.

An attorney for Groff said she had no comment on the letter. Oh, I bet not. Like I said,

I highly doubt that Leslie Groff wants anything to do with being under oath when it comes to Jeffrey

Epstein. Considering how she benefited and how she grew her wealth on the back of pain and

suffering, I'd be pretty scared if I was her too, and I think there are mountains of evidence,

circumstantial and otherwise. That would easily lead to a grand jury in Diting Leslie Groff and

Sarah Kellen. CBS news also reached out to black, banned and wait for a comment and is attempting

to contact Helen. None of the seven have been criminally charged with wrongdoing in connection

with Epstein. Nice little qualifier, but do you really think that's the case? Do you really think

that none of them have been targeted? If that's the case, then why is Leslie Groff and Sarah

Kellen Vickers? Protected under the NPA and why to judge Nathan, call Sarah Kellen Vickers,

a co-conspirator and open court so you can save your qualifiers when you're talking about Sarah Kellen

Vickers. The House request comes after the Justice Department in December began the process of

releasing millions of files related to its decades-long investigation into Epstein, a wealthy

financier, pedophile, who was accused of running an extensive sex trafficking operation with Maxwell's

aid. The two are believed to have victimized dozens of underage girls and women, dozens,

the Justice Department itself set over a thousand. Where do they get these numbers from?

Yeah, you don't have to like be an expert in what's going on in the case,

but you should at least have the very basics down, right?

The Justice Department only released the files after Congress passed a bill in November.

Signed into law by President Trump, compelling it to do so. In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida

to state charges of soliciting prostitution in exchange for having a federal case against them

dropped. Charges for soliciting prostitution, not soliciting prostitution from a child, right?

Not abusing a child, just soliciting prostitution. Yo, what's going on with CBS? Is Barry Weiss?

Writing all these articles? Sure seems like it. A New York federal grand jury

indicted Epstein on child sex trafficking charges in July of 2019, but he was found dead weeks

later in August 2019 in a Manhattan jail. His cause of death was ruled a suicide.

No questions about it, not alleged, not called, but ruled a suicide. So that's the end of it.

Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of federal sex trafficking charges and later sentenced to 20 years

in prison. The release files, however, have revealed the wealthy finance here is deep connection

to the rich and powerful that persisted while after his Florida conviction.

Last week, Gates apologized to the staff of his philanthropic Gates Foundation for his

ties to Epstein, which he said began in 2011 and continued through 2014.

even if it's only for tax purposes. But Jeffrey Epstein? Bill Gates. Nobody believes you, buddy.

According to audio of the apology obtained by the Wall Street Journal, Gates told staff,

he and Epstein shared a private jet together once and spent time in Germany, France, New York,

and Washington. Yeah, you know, hardly knew each other. I fly on jets with people all the time,

who I don't know. I mean, I'm flying commercial, but that's not the point, I guess.

Included in the trove of DOJ files were two emails Epstein sent to himself on July 18, 2013,

containing unverified allegations that Gates had extra marital sex with Russian girls that

resulted in sexually transmitted disease requiring antibiotic treatment. In one email,

Epstein claimed Gates also sought surreptitiously to give antibiotics to his then-wife Melinda Gates.

Well, that's weird because he did admit that he had those affairs, right?

So, what do you mean alleged? Pro tip? It's not alleged when it's proved to be a fact.

The emails appeared to have been written by Epstein on behalf of an agrived employee of Gates,

who was resigning. Regarding those allegations, the Gates spokesman told CBS News in January that

the claims are absolutely absurd and completely false. The only thing these documents demonstrate

is Epstein's frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates,

and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame him. At last week's town hall, according to the

journal, Gates admitted that he did have affairs, one with a Russian bridge player, who he met at

bridge events, and one with a Russian nuclear physicist, who I met through business activities.

So, he was lying, okay? Just like he's been lying about everything that has to do with Jeffrey

Epstein, and if you want to believe him, cool. I don't care. Personally, I don't believe the guy

at all. Catherine Rummler wrote that she adored Epstein. Rummler served as the White House

counselor under Obama from 2011 to 2014 before joining the law firm, Latham and Watkins in 2014,

and then Goldman Sachs in 2020. Rummler appeared several times in the Justice Department's release

files, including a December 2015 email exchange in which he wrote that she adored Epstein.

In May of 2015, Epstein asked Rummler if she could get filmmaker Woody Allen and his wife Sunyi,

a tour of the White House, which took place in December 2015, according to White House records.

Last month, Rummler announced she would resign from her role as top lawyer for Goldman Sachs

in the wake of the release files. Well, the least you could do. Imagine being one of her colleagues

over at Goldman Sachs. Pretty awkward conversation at the coffee machine, so uh, Kathy. Get any chicken

noodle soup from Uncle Jeffy lately? The DOJ's documents show that black co-founder of

investment from Apollo Global Management received advice from Epstein on how to keep a six-year

affair with a Russian woman from going public. In one September 2015 email, Epstein suggested to black

that he hire former law enforcement officers to approach the woman about signing a non-disclosure

agreement. Choose met that a message delivery my choice to highly respected former law enforcement

agents fill in the blank immigration Scotland Yard SFO who may knock on the door and present the

terms Epstein wrote. In October of 2015, the woman signed a non-disclosure agreement with black

in which he agreed to pay her $100,000 monthly for 15 years. Forgive a $1 million loan and provide

two million British pounds for her to obtain legal status in the UK. Senate Finance Committee

documents also show that black paid Epstein 158 million for tax and estate planning services.

Black stepped down as chairman and CEO of Apollo in 2021. A law firm retained by Apollo's board

to review Black's dealings with Epstein cleared Black of any possible wrongdoing. Well, he's been

cleared. Donald Trump's been cleared by Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton's been cleared by Donald Trump.

I guess we could just pack it in, huh? No need to have any subpoenas. No need for an investigation.

I mean, I don't know why you're laughing. Have you checked the Dow? I mean, it's under $50,000,

so that means we can talk about Epstein again, right? Wasn't that the barometer that was set by

Pam Bondi? Now, as far as these subpoenas, look, it's a good step, right? But I have my doubts about

what we're going to learn. Have you learned anything new from any of these depositions yet?

I know I haven't, but with that said, we'll keep an open mind and we'll see what happens.

And when we have some concrete dates for all these people, we'll get those added to the catalog as well.
