Bills Eye Versatile Halton for Draft

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for the 2026 NFL Draft with eyes on several promising defensive linemen, including Oklahoma's Grayson. Halton, this 22-year-old standout, fits right into their shifting defensive line needs, under new coordinator Jim Leighenhardt, who likes versatile players, for an odd man front. Halton already visited the Bills in person and followed up with a Zoom call. He's also interviewed formally with the Atlanta Falcons in Indianapolis Colts, and he has virtual meetings lined up soon with the Las Vegas Raiders, and Washington Commanders. Over four seasons with the Suners, Halton racked up 84 tackles, 17 and a half tackles for loss, and 8 and a half sacks across. Forty-seven games. He hit career highs last year with seven tackles for loss and three and a half sacks, building on five sacks to season before. Projections put Halton as a late second round to third or fourth round pick, right in range for the Bills, who hold seven selections including third, and fourth rounders, but traded away their second rounder for wide receiver DJ Moore.
