The Buffalo Bills are hunting for wide receiver depth now that Christian Kirk is off the table.

Veteran Brandon Cooks sits available as a free agent, and he could be a cheap fix at

around $3 million for one year.

That's a salary cap bargain, especially with the market cooling off.

Earlier this week, deals like Calvin Austin's 1-year pact for $1.5 million with the New

York Giants showed how low values have.

Dipped for receivers, experts call it mind-boggling, but it opens doors for teams like Buffalo.

Cook spent the end of last season with the Bills after coming off waivers from the New

Orleans Saints.

He built quick chemistry with quarterback Josh Allen and openly said he'd love to return

and chase a title together.

The Bills already have six wide receivers under contract from last year's rosters, including

DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Keon Coleman, McColle Harman, and Tyrell Shavers.

Still, a proven vet like the 32-year-old Cooks fits as a solid number 4 option.

With training camp ahead, signing him now could make Buffalo's passing game even deadlier

in 2026.

Cooks wants a 13th NFL season, and mutual interest feels likely.
