About this episode
Bo Nix is primed for his Broncos debut after an eight-month recovery from a broken ankle, with teammate Courtland Sutton hilariously comparing him to a mountain lion itching to escape its cage. On September 10th, alright let's talk about Bonix. This dude is gearing up to hit the field again for the Denver Broncos and it's been a minute. We're talking about 8 months since he went down with a broken ankle, in that wild playoff game against the bills. Now with the season opener against the chiefs just around the corner, his teammate Cortland Sutton dropped a pretty wild comparison to describe. Nick's energy, Sutton likened Nick's to a mountain lion stuck in a cage, just pacing and ready to break free. He saw one at the zoo and said it reminded him exactly of how Nick's feeling right now, like he's just itching to get out there and compete. Sutton even joked that you wouldn't want that cat loose, and that's the vibe Nick's is giving off. He's ready to go. Nick's himself has been counting down the days man, this comeback hasn't been easy. After that ankle break, he had surgery pretty quickly, and then another procedure in April to clean things up. That kept him sideline for a good chunk of the off season, though he did get some throwing in during mini camp. He finally got back to full practice during training camp, and even saw some action in
one preseason game. Against the Packers, he played 14 snaps through for 76 yards and even tossed the touchdown. He sat out the final preseason game, but it looks like he's good to go for the real deal. So his first test back is a big one, the Kansas City Chiefs. Remember, the Broncos actually beat them last season, and Nick's made history as the first quarterbacks since Peyton Manning to win at Arrowhead. It's going to be interesting to see how he performs after all this time off. I'm Corey with the story. Estra Dimbert Broncos news today update, AI powered and always on.
