Bo Nix is back, fully healed and hungry for revenge after missing the AFC championship game last season with a broken ankle. His teammate Courtland Sutton calls him a “mountain lion ready to pounce,” highlighting his electric return to full practice and even a preseason debut. It's September 10th from the locker room to your ears. This is Denver Broncos News today, powered by AI. I'm Cory with the story. Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is back and ready to play after a tough injury. Last season, he led the team to a 14-win, three-loss record, and all the way to the AFC Championship game. He missed that final game though after breaking his ankle in the game before. Now, he's fully healed, and his teammate, Widersy Recortland Sutton, is really impressed. Sutton compared Nix to a mountain lion that's ready to get out of its cage, saying you can just tell he's eager to get back on the field and compete. Nix himself has been through a lot to get here. After the initial surgery for his ankle fracture, he had another procedure in April to deal with bone spurs. He started with limited throwing in June, and finally got back to full practice during training camp. He even played in one preseason game, completing six of nine passes for 76 yards. This is a big deal, because Nix has a history of leading comebacks, with eight-fourth quarter rallies,

and 10 game-winning drives since he became the starter. So, Nix won't have to wait much longer. He and the Broncos kick off their season Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
