They are a multiple slam winner, recipient of the Best Open Mic award at the Fluent in Both Awards, and a finalist in the Some-Antics Slam. Their 2025 collection Writing My Own Story Means reflects themes of resilience and empowerment. As co-founder of AccessAbility Arts, DK delivers inclusive workshops and talks, using art to challenge perceptions, amplify marginalised voices, and inspire meaningful social change.
