Well, guess who's back in town now I got to tell you something this is God's comic Bradstein This is Bradstein has issues with comedy Christianity and conservatism colliding Coffinie of clarity now many of you've been waiting with baited breasts say no, please When is the big relaunch you said you wanted to have some whole new vibe of your Channel and of your podcast and that's exactly true, but the saying it. I know it's September and you think I'm a liar I'm not We've had some glitches now anybody has followed Bradstein has issues over the years knows that part of our trademark part of the thing that makes us stand out amongst all the very popular and successful podcasts is we are glitchy We love glitches. We can't live without glitches. My back without a glitch We wouldn't know how to continue and so I'm going to bring out a very special in between the reround episodes Of Bradstein has issues because we are gonna talk about a book release coming out about miracles

And it is done by Daniel Fasino This is something that we wanted to put up again on September 12th is a big book hits the streets You can download it as well. So folks enjoy the miracle of divine intervention 50 true stories of God and miracles today What a book and the author? Gonna enjoy what do you hear these stories? Please welcome Fasino, how do you do? my brother Hello, Brad. I'm so thrilled and honored to be with you God's comic has been a long time since we collaborated and I'm just so excited to be here Thank you so much for having me. Well as I always tell my guests I think you should raise the bar and what excite you, but nevertheless I appreciate that yeah We did I guess I you said I had been on your your show Quite a few years ago, so I guess forgot but Certainly an interesting Angle you know, I want to talk to you about Your book and and let people of course know how to get it and where to get it and and so forth and so on

But let's kind of break it down because you're talking about something That we've all read about I mean if there's something about God that kind of goes hand in hand It's the miraculous because We're stuck in a three-dimensional world with five senses and natural laws And God created all those but he's super natural So for him to supersede those laws is what we would call a miracle and that's kind of an area of God's ontology and And I guess you're calling that you've kind of focused on is that part of God so I guess let's do a quick Bio background How did you kind of Decide that divine intervention and the miraculous was an area that you felt I Guess called maybe to to put out in the atmosphere or did something happen to you perhaps I got you there How did we end up here Daniel? Yes It's kind of a long story and it has some some steps and stages to it, but

Basically, you know, you know, I grew up in a very conservative Tradition I grew up Lutheran on on Long Island New York and as you may imagine Long Island is not the Bible belt. So there's a lot of skepticism and unbelief there Um, and you know, I was kind of the odd man out among my friends. I was a believer in Jesus since I'm young But most of my friends were not so they were you know, Wicken, pagan, agnostic, atheist and so That's kind of the environment I grew up in But I made my own decision to follow Jesus at 14. I was born again and then I started Experiencing answered prayers in my life and living with a sense that God is real. He's personal and I had two pretty amazing miracles that took my faith ahead and that's what kind of got me into The divine intervention 52 stories of God's miracles today book and radio show So the first one was that I was healed of chronic back pain at a prayer meeting I had developed

chronic back pain from the age of 16 to 26 stemming from a cartilage ring that was bulging out of my My spine and pressing against the nerve So I had pain whether I sat or stood for any length of time It wasn't debilitating. It was more of annoying. It was mild to moderate, but just always there And I had had people pray for me over the years and I got to tire practice and physical therapy for a bunch of years And I just I stopped all therapy a few years in figuring I'd have to live with the pain the rest of my life because nothing was really working and In 2001 I had gone on our men's retreat with some guys from my church And we're all on the eastern end of Long Island at Montauk, Madder Montauk Point And there's about 40 guys in this hotel meeting room and they said we're gonna dedicate this afternoon to prayer to Jesus for physical healing So if you have any issues come to the front of the room we'll pray for you So I'm online to go to the front and there's all these guys laying hands on each other and praying for each other at the front of the room And my friend Dave is online next to me is this Daniel. What are you gonna ask for prayer for?

I said well my back doesn't have this problem all these years and right then Brad pain disappeared. I didn't feel it So I'm bending and I'm twisting and I'm like I don't feel it. It's gone And so At that point no one had even prayed for me no one touched me It was like God's spirit was in this place and it was an atmospheric healing and I believe God chose that moment to take the pain away So I would know it was him and not doctors or therapy or anything which I'm not against but it just it wasn't working for me And so in at that point like I had I had no expectation. I was like well, I'm not gonna turn down prayer, but You know, I had people pray for me before and nothing happened But this was a moment I think you know God just wanted it was his appointment time And that's what happened. So that was 2001. So I had pain from 91 to 2001 And then the following year Doctors found a massive cancer. It's tumor in my chest. It was great fruit size that was right above my heart in my chest cavity

Uh, B cell lymphoma. They said, you know, we can't operate on it because if we do it'll spread We'll try to give you medicine But we're not sure if it's gonna respond But if it doesn't you'll be dead within three weeks to three months Oh Yeah, and so here I am 27 years old never been seriously ill before and this just comes out of nowhere and It was a long story. I had a lot of different types of therapies alternative therapies uh Female therapy as well and a lot of people praying for me and noisy me with oil saying Daniel this thing was born to die It's gonna be a testimony to the Lord And I took all that Brad, but So they were gonna give me one uh six rounds of chemo once a month for six months And they were gonna take a halfway point scan to gauge the progress of three months in now at this point Uh, I was in the hospital better remember it was about three o'clock in the morning and I'm I'm completely A broken man because I can't fix myself

I'm up against the rock in a hard place and I'm literally suffocating this tumor was so big It was crushing my pulmonary artery so it wasn't getting in a oxygen And I remember praying and I was like God, you know, I know I'm your child if you want to take me I'll go with you as the Bible says that to be absent from the bodies to be present with the Lord and I believe that But I said Lord if you want to heal me and let me live I will just do my best to continue to serve you and to to to point people to you and to share with them That your love and your grace and your your mercy and your power And that was the first time I really just had to give it all to God and I was totally broken thrown on his mercy Depending on Kim and other people for everything um, I couldn't do anything for myself Well fast forward I went in for that halfway point scan three months and I I remember walking out of the radiology place not only Was the tumor smaller which we were hoping But it wasn't just smaller it was completely gone the scan came back completely negative

No more cancer in my body no more tumor nothing Even the cardiologist was like, you know, this is not only is it amazing that the tumor disappeared so quickly But it didn't even leave any scar tissue behind He said normally when tumors retract they leave scar tissue and mine was completely clean and so It was that When God healed me and allowed me to live and I went back to my job at my television station where I was working I started sharing what I went through a lot of my co-workers were just incredulous and they're like wow that's amazing and I was like well If you think what I went through was amazing you should hear about my friend's story Because as a follower of Jesus for so many years I've had many people I've heard a lot of stories of people experiencing miracles So I started sharing those stories with people like for instance One of the guys who visited me in the hospital when I was sick he was a co- friend of mine from church He shared with me how a couple years later or earlier he had been wasting away and dying from AIDS and You know losing weight

Brush and white stuff in his mouth and Winning for seven HIV tests. They all came back positive and he just Surrendered his life to the Lord and started mentoring kids and said whatever time I have left I'm just gonna serve you and eventually he started noticing he started gaining weight and He hadn't had a sniffle in a year. He's like what's going on? So he goes to get another HIV test comes back negative And he's happy and healthy married today and serving God and it's like God restored him And I had a lot of friends that have had things like that So I started sharing those stories and my co-workers encouraged me and I like wow you should put these in a documentary film or a book or something and That's what I did I started calling up the friends and interviewing them and um Compiling them in my first book of divine intervention came out in 2007 And I have had several volumes since and the latest one is the one you're talking about divine intervention 50 true stories of God's miracles today Well, that's Obviously encouraging and exciting and amazing and and and certainly what we would hope and expect from God

We serve a God who left left us a record of of You know revelation of reality Which is replete with miracles, but you know, let's just be very honest Um You know doesn't happen all the time and it is it is it is I guess should be rare to a certain degree that's kind of what Sets a miracle apart from just some Coincidence or some I don't know how do you know what the words would be but um When you talk about Miracles, I think one of the things that people struggle with Uh Is either Based on their presupposition like if you're a materialist And you come face to face with I had a tumor in a vanishes like well, it that happens You know tumors can regress periodically. It's not all the time. Let it happen. We prayed Um, and so they're you're either looking for a mature holistic answer to what happened that it it can be done naturally It's just rare

Or you're looking at it as something that is divine so What do you say it? Let's say let's start there What would you say maybe about someone who had some crazy thing and it vanished and they didn't pray they're not Christian They're saying yeah, it was just that's what it is Would you consider that a miracle that God was giving them perhaps to reveal himself to them or and they're just not acknowledging that Um, you know, how do we differentiate because you made something very interesting and since I'm interested is that You won't really praying for healing for your back You had and nothing happened and so you went in kind of not really expecting anything just Let him know look. I'm here. I would just want to be the only how a back's been hurting for a while but that's all You weren't looking for any solution or even any miracle and boom there it was so seems so arbitrary at times and so Hit and miss so I guess there's a lot I've just convoluted into that question, but you know, where what is a miracle? What is a miracle?

I believe it's where God intervenes and it's kind of outside of the normal laws of science perhaps um, you know and you You brought up an interesting point because two people can look at the same exact The parents of the same exact situation and come to completely opposite conclusions of what they're looking at Because just to give you an example I had three different cardiologists I'm sorry three different oncologists and a cardiologist when I was sick with cancer the original oncologist when I went back and and the tumor was gone he was very pleased He was he was reserved he said, uh, you definitely came through it faster than most people with less side effects The guy who took over from him he didn't think it was a miracle at all. Yeah, and I said well Do you think it's do you believe in miracles? He said no, I don't believe in miracles And then he corrected himself. He said well the only miracle I believe in is having a healthy baby That's that was it for him But the cardiologist I mentioned to you he He had never met me at that time

I went to him a year later for a follow-up for my heart as chemo drugs can weaken your heart So he'd never met me, but he remembered me because he originally he read my original ecocardiogram video And he showed it to all the students because it was so dramatic And he was very impressed with it and you know and When I went back to like a lot of the nurses came out to me and they're like we don't see this that often And when we do it's usually around Christmas time and Easter time and mine was right before Christmas of 2002 when I got the negative result um You know, you reminded me of one of my co-workers a non-believing co-worker who encouraged me actually when I went back to the TV station He said Daniel I don't believe in miracles if the miracles that are written in the Bible are true They would still be happening today. How come I've never seen one and I was like that is a great question And in my mind, I thought maybe he wasn't hanging around the right people, you know, or maybe he just wasn't open to it But like I said, I've known a lot of people who've had amazing miracles So that that was really the impetus for me to track down all these people and compile these stories because look

I want to show people that these things are real God is still intervening today not just when the Bible was written You know and and that's why I did the divine intervention book series and radio show The word says that we overcome the devil by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony So those testimonies are really powerful and when you come face to face with them where you talk with someone who Experience it. It's really hard to argue against it. I used to debate a lot with my friends and stuff and I just I don't think it's a great way to reach people um, but if I can just share what happened to me and what the Lord did in my life um, I think that goes a lot further and It persuading people that God might be real Well, so when you if we were to get your book and and we all are gonna get it because God told me to tell them if they didn't get it He would be very angry but But you know it is important. I mean it is beautiful. It is what nice

To see God still at work in the in the stories similar to that we've read in the Bible But we set to the Bible side like it was a special moment, a special time Kind of a sacred season that a lot of ideas are Demonstrated to the world to inspire and courage is to have no God But then it kind of like well, that's done, you know, and there's people that think that you know, there's The Pentecostals that think God still doing tongues and interpretation and healing and they'll say no that ceased and so for so even in the church We've had people who I don't know if I would say limited God, but certainly have decided that He is behaving differently than he did the Old Testament and the New Testament up to now so One of the things I guess I wanted to ask you about was you have 50 true stories and you said you have a series So you must have lots of other stories as well But let's just take the book that we're talking about right now So you your story is I had a big giant tumor and then they gave me some drugs

Excuse me and it went away And so did they have X-rays and here it is and then here it is two months later and tada It's like is that what you think I actually put the pet scans in the book so you can see the before and after So I don't know if you can see it, but this is my chest cavity and there's two circles there two black spots Top one is the tumor or the bottom one is my heart and then a few months later you can see the after It's just one black spot in the chest cavity, which is my heart And so I went through great pains in the case of medical miracles these aren't all medical miracles and healings There's all types of different things in there, but In the case of medical miracles I actually collected X-rays pet scan doctors reports you can read reports from places like Cedar sign medical center in Los Angeles and the Mayo clinic in Rochester, Minnesota

because You know, it's been said that for the true believer no evidence is necessary and for the true skeptic no amount of evidence would be sufficient But there's a people in the middle who might be open-minded. They may be questioning And I think providing them with documentation to say hey, these are real and they're backed up by science That might go a long way in kind of tipping them to the side of faith and that's really what I wanted to do With this book. It's kind of unique in that respect I haven't seen any other books that have have actually the medical documentation to backup the miracles So that was something that was important to me and then to give the readers that choice and At the end of each story, there's a picture of the person and contact information You can email them and initiate a conversation so you know these are people and you know You can follow up with them and if you have questions maybe develop a relationship with them But they've all been so gracious to to really want to Reach out to people and a lot of times they've just they Beared their souls really just with the incurred the goal of encouraging people and them know that God is real and he loves them

And you know, there is some of the people that have really shared some deep and personal things and I'm just so impressed and grateful and humbled That God sent me these amazing people Well, I mean you're right. I don't often see the tangible proofs and results which are indisputable so I guess um It brings up a point that you said about you know the idea that you know to the believer You know not all Proof is necessary and to the non-believer It's irrelevant what you show them Because it's your presupposition if you go into the into the world saying there is no God There is no transcendence. There is no divine intervention. There is no miracle And yet I see uh Cancer No cancer. It's indisputable. It is Analytically verifiable results

What do you find if that Clearly it shows the spiritual dimension in people's desire to know or not know God because when someone sees Proof Which is what they ask for by the way I guarantee the guy that says yeah, that's that was just naturally happened um That guy Is the same guy that says you know all you have to do is you got to just prove himself I'll be happy to believe in him and and I think what guy is saying is no You remember there were people standing around Jesus when he raised Lazarus from the dead And this guy's been dead. They all know it's little town four days pops out of the grave. He's got his stuff on like a mummy People like god has been and god is here Other people ran away and said hey you You should see what this guy's doing. He's he's raising the dead with the heck. It's like Why not be amazed and and and be Overwhelmed and be gracious look what god is doing

You know, it shows your heart doesn't it that sometimes it doesn't matter what god shows you. I'm not interest Yeah, and what blows my mind is that some people Praise god, but other people were so upset with Jesus. They plotted to kill him and Lazarus right Yeah, this guy if we let him keep doing that everyone's gonna believe in him Yeah, we feel Lazarus and Jesus and that that just They were trying so hard to protect their power and it just blows my mind that This is god doing an amazing miracle in someone's life and you want to snuff that out, but Well, I guess that you know so much of what Breadstein has issues is trying to do as a podcast, you know people know he is a comedian and that's fine god use that Gifty gave me as a delivery system to tell his story So I thought I was a comic I started out as a comic. I just felt like that's what I do My Christian so I don't cause I don't do sex jokes and I don't do everything that everybody else does It's family friendly, but I'm trying to be sophisticated and have funny comedy that's deeper and stands for my faith and so forth and so on

But god decided that you know, I've given you that for a much deeper purpose and that is to kind of Soften the blow with some of the things I'm gonna have you say in the middle of this show That they're not expecting with a prophetic anointing to the church in this season and that's what I found myself to be and Like with anybody that god has called the certain things you're overwhelmed like why me? I don't even know what I'm doing And he goes I know that's why I choose you because you get out of the way yourself You don't think you have anything to do with it. Those are the people that I fear Because I know they're not gonna utilize my calli properly. They're either gonna spend it on themselves To try to get their own glory or not hear from me properly because they're trying to manufacture it so I always want to create disciples You know what what my new show you know, and you're in this new season of god Of breath on his issues the relaunch or I'm trying to be more specific about what my

Ministry is which is To try to inspire and drive people out of superficial Christianity into discipleship Yeah, that you were never called to be a Christian you were called to be a disciple Christian is easy Jesus does all the work he does all they have he lived in Disciple hardest thing you'll ever do in your life He doesn't do it for you you have to get busy you have to suffer pain virtually every time Is the growth comes from pain? We never choose the methods god chooses to help us get where we've at one him to go we're happy to say I want to be this But we would never choose the method he uses to get us there because it's always self but I guess I want to Kind of Highlight what your book is doing and what your your ministry kind of is doing Is a for the believer out there to show Don't get frustrated sometimes when your people aren't listening or suddenly aren't coming to Christ or or whatever Because here's the guy showing proof that some miraculous thing him and giving credit to god

And people say man it just like he just got lucky thing just went sideways so I guess there's there can be some odd Comfort in your stories insane, you know, this should inspire you as a believer But it also can show you that it doesn't matter what you if somebody's heart is hard There's nothing you can do right only god can break through and One of the things that I really love about the diversity of the stories in divine intervention True stories of god's miracles today is that I've got people from all walks of life and all denominations and religions I mean, I've got Muslims. I've got Hindus. I've got Jews. I've got atheists. I've got agnostics and just to give you a quick example like My friend Fred Clem this guy. He was a he was an agnostic He knew who Jesus was from going to church as a kid in in Catholic church But he didn't really give god much thought he was you know He said if there was a god and he was so forgiving that everyone said then he'd forgive me

That's about the extent of it But when he was young he was he was a nasty rugged guy. He loved fights. He loved instigating them both verbally and physically he was bad news in his words But what happened was he was riding a jet ski In 1996 in Smith Point Beach, Shirley, New York He's going really really fast probably about 45 miles an hour. He said he's jumping Wakes from passing fishing boats and he hits a sand bar going at 45 miles an hour sustains massive head trauma. He's knocked unconscious floating in the water for 17 minutes. He said for someone pulled him out. They fly him to the hospital. He's on life support Doctors are telling his family. He's not going to make it through the night Miraculously he does They said well, he's not going to make it through the week. He lives on He persists in this coma or Almost six months and he said while he was in the coma He had he thought it was a dream at first and then he corrected himself He's like no it was a vision. He said he saw Jesus Christ at the last supper with his apostles

And he said Jesus got up walked over to him reached out his hand and when Fred reached up Jesus touched his hand and that's when he awakened from this coma Really six months he was in a hospital. He's tubes all around him. He didn't know what was going on It's so confused. He starts pulling the tubes out the nurses come running in they try to stabilize him And he had he's a stand-in hospital for a whole year Go to physical speech therapy occupational therapy learn how to speak again walk again But eventually he started telling the story of how he saw Jesus and Jesus touched him And that's when he woke up and he since given his life to the Lord and become a born again Christian And he's sharing his testimony. I mean, this was 30 years ago almost that it happened to him But here's a guy who didn't give you God a second thought Didn't think about him total agnostic but yet God intervened supernaturally changed his life And God can do that. He knows where to meet us wherever we are You said you you have Hindus and atheists and and Muslims in the telling stories too

So this and those miracles happen to them As they were practicing these other faiths or did somehow Jesus intervened even under their particular philosophies and in bring him or is this happened kind of in their own Within their own faith community. I guess I wasn't sure about that. Yeah, no, it was um They were um diverse stories, but there's a guy who was raised as a Hindu priest in In India and his village. There were no Christians no churches just Hindus And he you know his grandfather was the high priest of that of that village and his father had died so His grandfather was raising him to be the next Hindu priest in the village and his name is govin satya cilan anyway He would go through all the rituals and mantras and you know learn all the the Hindu Vedas and scriptures and read them But he wasn't satisfied he was like, you know, why we bring these sacrifices to these idols But they never take them they never move

You know and the grandfather's like well you can't ask those questions just you know follow the tradition But so for three years he was reading all the Hindu scriptures and he was seeking and seeking and and and nothing was happening And he really wanted to know God he and there's so many Hindu gods, you know But he said one day he was in this lonely garden and he was at a point of desperation and just uh His satisfaction he was crying out like if there's a god show yourself and he had a vision And this vision was a bright light someone was speaking to him. He said he saw a dead man hanging on a tree that was speaking to And he had no idea what this meant again never been to a church knew nothing about Jesus knew no Christians And he didn't understand the vision and he was ran back to his village and he's sharing like who is this man in this Vision that I saw a dead man speaking on you know speaking to me from a tree They had no idea they thought he'd gone crazy all this Hindu relatives. No one had any idea

By God's grace several months later he met a man in another village who gave him a book And he didn't know but it was a Bible And he opened the book and the first verse that came to him was I think it was in first Peter or second Peter where it says He came to this earth to take our sins and impermanities and die on a on a tree And he that was the very first verse he ever read And when he when he read that verse that he came to take our sins on the tree He was like, oh my gosh, that's what I saw on the vision, you know, so He eventually came to realize it was God's son Jesus and he you know renounced idol worship and you know his family kicked him out to Zone them and he is a huge Upheaval in his life, but he was happy. He found the truth. He went on to become an evangelist eventually And he's been all he's like the Billy Graham of India and he started uh like hundreds of churches and Babetit half a million people even had a chance to lead his entire village to Christ 500 people many years later

Kind of thing that you know when God intervenes so personally It doesn't matter what your faith background or it is if you're open to the true God He's gonna show you well That's I guess think that's kind of what I was getting at was because that's What I was curious was it Christ intervening in this guy's life In his Interesting way obviously you didn't know what the tree was and in trees of metaphor for the cross which the Bible uses that but uh, I didn't know if maybe Muslims had because I've heard a lot of stories and you know of Christ coming to Muslims and dreams and they accepting him and a lot of Evangelism happening within Muslim Communities and so forth. So that's why I was wondering if if Where else would they account for the miracle? I guess is what I'm getting at Do they all attribute their in your book these miracles to god or to some of them say well some happen and it made me wonder what god is But I'm not there yet or does it all lead back to Jesus somehow These particular ones in 53 stories of God's miracles today divine intervention. They're all

From different backgrounds different religious traditions, but they all give glory to Jesus. Okay You're all you know, but like I said some they some of them come from Hindu backgrounds Muslim I that's a better story frankly. I prefer The guy that's never and I'll tell you why you know one of the big Struggles one of the many struggles philosophically with God is You know the guy that never hears Jesus and dies and goes the hell Or we wonder does he go to hell and you feel like well, but he never hurt. I don't know Doesn't seem fair. I didn't know that was an option. So why am I there and I don't think does that to be honest It seems to me that the bible's Alludes to the fact that for those who've never heard He'll make himself available through a means that they can understand and he kind of holds them accountable for their Religious experience seeking the god that they're looking for they just don't happen to those names Jesus or happen But he's revealing himself because he wants us in not out He's not looking how to get people in the hall is how he's trying to get him out of there

So I I much prefer and maybe it's theologically inaccurate maybe what I'm saying isn't true And if so So be it I'm not trying to be a heretical or or or or in any way Misread the bible, but it does appear That God says you know he just people based on what they knew If they never heard you if you heard Jesus and you rejected him that's a whole different ballgame But if you didn't it seems like he's has ways to get them in as well. And so that's why I kind of prefer to this story Where he didn't know what he's dealing with it was just God's mercy On this guy He didn't have to do that, but then again, he didn't have to you know He'll the one guy of leprosy and not everybody else He didn't have to heal the one blind guy but nobody else And that's kind of another question. I want to ask for you know in this book Again, folks divine intervention 50 true stories of God's miracles Uh

Are there any patterns that you see in miracle stories? I mean are they all very unique or do you see some continuity something about miraculous That maybe have some similarities that you can kind of find Hmm, I don't want to say formula, but almost like there's certain components that go with a miracle that is very consistent Uh, that one might be made aware of let's say if they're in a place where they need some help in healing right now Again, I'm not meaning some magical words or whatever, but I'm just curious if you saw some Um, some similarities in some elements of of miracles that maybe seem to go hand in hand with them Well, I think uh in in the case of this divine intervention 50 true stories of God's miracles today book um the stories are very diverse the people are very diverse there from all over the world and

The commonality is is Jesus He is the one who is the miracle maker um, so But they he reaches people in so many different ways, but All personal to that to that particular person. He knows us all intimately and he knows what's gonna get our attention He knows what we need and so he shows up for us in a way that we can't deny that this is God. This is this is real You know So that being said Jesus is the commonality I find um some people had faith some people didn't some people were believers before some people weren't Um in like it like I mentioned you before when I went up to that prayer line I didn't really have any expectation. I was like well, I'm not gonna turn down prayer But I wasn't expecting anything because of my previous experience that nothing had happened But times it's just a matter of timing and um, you know, you'll break through an intervene Yeah So

I guess what I'm trying to understand is some other components of the book So are they for the most part just focusing on all these individual unique stories About people's experience or does it also kind of discuss miracles in general does it also have some sort of Theological exploration of how and why God does these things and the reason I'm bringing this up is Is certainly the the the the age old question that Honestly has been Difficult in troubling over the years many times and that is for those who don't get the answer The the miracle that doesn't happen to them and you know, I got to say something you know Those are through our Christ followers We see the we see the the world for what it actually is we we have the Bible which is the revelation Of reality it tells us the story of why things went wrong how they get fixed and this and that so we know that in the end

Uh, the moment we are born we are terminally ill We know that we were fully Insan that God intervened for us and that we live forever. So we have all of this wonderful Hope and that when we cross over through the miss Um, what is waiting for us is beyond comprehension now. It's literally beyond comprehension You know, I had a friend on Bart Miller. It was on the show and you wrote I can only imagine it's a beautiful song. It's a beautiful song But it's not true. You can't imagine What God has for his he said so I have not seen no ear has heard nor is entered into the hearts of man the things Which God has prepared for those fellow he literally says it's not that you can't use your imagination It's that there's nothing that you've ever seen that you can compare it to Because it's so much different heaven is so much different. I'm not married anymore Which means I guess I'm not a dad anymore everything changes into pure

communal love of of all that God has created as one Family that's how he had designed it all along and so I I'm elaborating in all this because In some odd way right Shouldn't those of us who are believers almost long to die? Shouldn't we say are you kidding? Oh, you got cancer. Oh, I'm going to the why because that's what you're getting You're getting this all expense paid trip to a mansion on these ocean sure But no we want to live I Want to stay here Yeah, it's uh when you come you know When you come face to face with your mortality um Like when I was dying in that hospital bed. I was like I was like God, you know, I I'll go with you. I mean, I'm your child, you know, and St Paul I believe it said that to live is Christ and to die as games

So either way as a believer in Jesus we win either way whether God heals us here or he heals us after we die That's the ultimate healing of the the redemption um and there's a there's a great story In divine intervention about that my friend Robbie Dilmore Uh was healed of cancer a very rare form of cancer. He's the Christian car guy on the truth network He's got a radio show and But that was one of the lessons he learned that um, you know in the midst of this diagnosis Yes, his family was weighing on him and you know how I was how is they going to be taken care of but he was gonna get to see the face of Jesus That revelation gave him such peace and he Uh, he came to learn that and You know as believers that's the eternal security that we have when we put our faith in Christ And ultimately he was miraculously healed. He's still alive today and sharing his testimony and everything but

But he had God's peace and um, it's just just like what you said to shouldn't we all long to be with him and to be in this glorified majestic state You know, I'm excited. I mean, I can't wait to see the face of Jesus and uh, I'm just I'm grateful that he gave me you know Gosh in almost 20 24 years since I was healed again Well, and it also means that you know, we have a mission. We have a purpose down here where this is the only time in in our eternal Existence and it is we're eternal already Uh, but but in the three-dimensional form it this is the only time that we can give something to God that he doesn't have which is our obedience or um Partnership because once you're in heaven, it's over. You're all in perfect Equilibrium where you belong Here you can say no I can I can doubt you can't even have a lack of faith in heaven you're I see him It's like I don't need to but wonder if I can get up enough faith and up. It's all

It's all the tears are gone But still here we are because this is part of the plan too. This was a sacred place God created where he made Adam and he This was not supposed to be abandoned and destroyed But I guess I I don't think we can have this conversation and and see these beautiful stories which truly will be inspirational to people and Amazing without knowing that some of the people listening and watching right now or reading your book are in harm's white they they they are Terminally diagnosed they are on On you know some machines as we speak they've got two weeks left. They're in pain I mean and they're saying I have prayed For 15 year and he apparently jone tada aerex Please let me now she's like I guess not me So what's that what is what is your miracle stories

helped you Evaluate when it comes to the go the folks who don't seem to get that miracle on earth You know what what what did you What have you concluded about that part of of this story? Um regarding that part uh, you know god is god and he's bigger and he's got the big picture Um, we understand very little on this earth. We have such a limited perspective um I have seen miracles. I have experienced them But I've also I mean I prayed for people and they've gotten well and I've prayed for people and they've died so My main mission on this with this book divine intervention is not so much for the miracles themselves But the point people to the god of miracles So they can enter enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ and be safe because Ultimate, I mean the god healed me of cancer, but I'm eventually gonna die of something. Yeah Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. He eventually died again

So We have this physical mortal body that is wasting away and it's going to be dying and it's gonna be turning back to dust But it's all about our soul can we um Can we put our faith in the work that Christ did shedding his blood on the cross for us redeeming us And paying the penalty for our sins so we can be with god forever and that's my goal Well, oh, and I'm sure that will you know pay dividends because you know you can't ignore miracles That's something that has to be grappled with Um, I am curious also though because the other thing I think it Interesting you said you had these folks from all different ethnicities and religious backgrounds or I guess different parts of the world too. Yes, so um the reason I bring that up is I've heard stories over the years Of missionaries in kind of third world countries or in very um Traditionally superstitious uh

Tribal areas and perhaps their their religions are You know voodoo like things and and which doctorie stuff and uh, you know probably You know demonic forces You know kind of run free because these people kind of Figure that's part of how the world works But what I will I do I was curious about was they seem to indicate that you come to the west Where everybody's so analytical and and kind of pragmatic and they're like We don't believe in miracles and god is intervening. There's no demons and everything and consequently that's exactly what we get Oh, okay. Yeah, there's nothing that because I'm I'm not gonna force myself on But these people that kind of believe there really are demons and curses or anything They seem to see some pretty weird Uh, phenomenon Yeah, and I'm curious if you think that because I do

Some culture some regions of the world are more attuned to the supernatural And thus they see it more vividly and more more uh Un-un-un-un hidden Because they've already agreed to it so it has no reason to hide because they they're onto us But those of us on the west might have a less perhaps less chance of healing sometimes only because we've taught ourselves Not to expect it and it It doesn't really happen. So do you do you think there's anything to the fact that some regions of the world Might be more apt to receive supernatural in encounters and then places that are more pragmatic and analytical I do yes In my divine intervention book there are several people from Africa one one in particular Kevin Frolic was um he was heavily into witchcraft and Actually was possessed and he he had psychic powers from these demons and stuff and

Uh, he had a lot of weird experiences and he ultimately had an exorcism performed on him by a pastor in uh south africa and They prayed with him for 12 hours passing multiple demons out of him was a huge battle but he was Eventually set free from that and just he said the blood of Christ washed over him and he had such a sense of peace His countenance had changed so much in Just 12 hours that his own father hardly even recognized them And then he said Kevin is that you my son is that you and he kept repeating that And Kevin eventually um went on to become a missionary and himself and was preaching the gospel all over the world He went to all over africa the Middle East and he was a missionary to Malaysia for many years. He's back in the states now, but Um, you know, I've seen Uh my my good friend George by he was from Ghana God healed him miraculously He was born a paraplegic he had meningitis when he was a baby

And doctor said he would never walk as the disease had progressed to his spinal cord And when he was seven years old He went to a big evangelistic revival meeting in a huge stadium Pastor called him out of the crowd of thousands Prayed over him said why you in the wheelchair Jesus has already healed you and He got zapped and he was up and walking for the first time at seven years old and today He's a practicing podiatrist in New York City So he's he saves souls and souls now and he's also a full-time pastor But I remember ministering with him one time we were praying for a woman who had cancer And all of a sudden George starts calling out this demon and and reputing it and telling it to leave in Jesus name And I'm like what's going on here? The woman starts frothing at the mouth and I heard When George was trying to cast this demon out The woman spoke in a very raspy voice and she was like oh she belongs to us Like that And this is something I witnessed with my own eyes

After prayed for her she went down and was just land there and was peaceful for a while and Later we found out her family was into witchcraft But yeah, George how did you know that this was a demon and not just an illness? And he's like oh, you know, you should see what we deal with back in Africa. This is nothing You know, we see this all the time in the churches And after this eye opening for me and I was like wow, you know So they they deal with some heavy stuff over there and there's it's a very supernatural culture Um and George's parents I mean his ancestors worshiped idols and they would take him to priests of these idols when he was little To try and get him healed, but he never was healed until he met Jesus Jesus So so Yeah, when we think miracles we always just associate that with with health healing but Obviously you're saying there's some other miraculous stories I guess outside of physical healing. So what are the type of miracles are we talking about when we read your book

Well, I've got at least three people who were delivered from witchcraft and the demonic one of them I mentioned Kevin Frolic um Was actually possessed and had a Exorcism on him Joanna pixley who's actually she's going to be speaking at my event on September 12th 2026 In psios and york were doing a big launch for the audiobook version of divine intervention So she'll be sharing her testimony Any cassets another one who was practicing witch and you know, they were all like you know, we were we thought we were so powerful Until we realized we couldn't control it and then the demons started tormenting them You know physically harassing them and doing all sorts of stuff and did they find themselves ever engaged with Christians and And that they were sort of powerless. There was there any sense of Realization there was seem to be a power that was stronger than the one they they were embracing. I don't remember if they said that kind of That happened, but they penny both penny casset and Joanna pixley had

uh Open visions of hellfire and demonic and so they were scared and they knew they needed they needed help They needed savior and that's what caused them to really seek after the Lord and then they they both came to Jesus and were delivered from this but Um, so they got that kind of miracles. Are you familiar with pastor diolon sanders from Sri Lanka? This is We Kind of fighting a cold so good news is we can edit this part out so if you're not all right, so go ahead uh, so who is who is this guy? Um, there's a story in my book divine intervention. It's by diolon sanders and he's a pastor in Sri Lanka And if you remember the tsunami that hit in 2004 You know, it hit several different countries and killed like I think over 200,000 people

But he tells the story of how When he saw this the tsunami coming over I think it was the day after christmas 2004 He saw an ocean riding on top of another ocean that was coming in and he was running an orphanage and They had just 15 seconds to get everybody into a boat Oh, I think it was like an 18 foot fiberglass boat 20 people or so And they didn't have enough time and this wave was coming against them and he stood up Put his hand out and he quoted Isaiah and said when the enemy Comes in like a flood the Lord will raise up a standard against them and he said I command you in the name of the scriptures on the power of the scriptures The name of Jesus Christ to stop And he said that wave That was just about to engulf them stop It became sluggish like it was like it was fighting against an invisible wall or some some kind of force was Holding it back and that gave him the time to get everybody in the boat and get into the lagoon And then that wave came and and overwhelmed the village and destroyed everything

But he and his children the children he was caring for and plus his own children and his wife were spared This devastation that just killed so many people and Everyone saw it and it's just like you know Jesus on the sea of Galilee when he commanded the waves and they obeyed he did the same thing and God showed up That's amazing. Well, let's you know So you you This latest book to mine intervention You again 52 stories of God's miracles. So that's a lot and yet you have a series So how many books have you put out on these miraculous stories? So this uh this one is my third in the series and then We have the audiobook version coming out in September with our big launch in psiaisid new york on september 12 Incidentally people can get tickets if they want to go at events dot art of heaven dot com So as you may know bread most audiobooks have one narrator

This book has 32 different narrators for the 50 different stories So you got people with authentic accents from like england and news dylan and africa and even new york of all places Uh, and in some cases the people have narrated their own stories So you can hear directly from the miracle experience or themselves But in other cases for people had were either not available Not good narrators or they had passed away I had professionals and volunteers do the job and it just came out amazing. It actually One in award at the readers favorite international book competition and won the silver medal for audiobook nonfiction So I'm very about that. Yeah, because there's five entries from about 12 different countries thousand So I was really Humboldt and grateful for that recognition god has gotten glory and What stories are you getting out there? Well, they should I guess with all the stories you've heard and interviewed and seen and the

uh x-rays and the before and afters and these just crazy things that I guess you've kind of come to take for granted and just go Yeah, nope, that's what god does. I'm he's my god But uh, did any one story ever stand out? Did any one story ever just kind of bring you back on your heels that you just said this This is hard to believe. Uh, oh my gosh. This is crazy. Did anything ever stand out that was just boggled your mind Many many but That's the great thing about god because he does so many different things so many different ways and uh, I just give you one more story from the book My friend Josh bender now Josh was shot between the eyes at point blank range the bullet weighing the bridge of his nose Somehow missed his brain ended up in the back of his neck And he went on to make a full recover and he's serving god now But the doctors who took the x-rays and scans were were befuddled and they're like I don't the doctor took the scan

He told him like I don't understand is I'm gonna have to go back to church because I can't explain How it got to the back of your neck without carving a hole or you know a path to your brain And Josh was kind enough to to give me an x-ray You can see here. Here's the bullet in the back of his neck. He had it in there for about 15 years or so before they surgically removed it Um, but you know and Josh was like I have no idea like how god did it like he did it He showed up. We don't understand how How would the bullet go in A bridge of your nose and end up in the back of your neck without killing you or Yeah, well, yeah clearly that's uh, that's odd um Clearly, you know, but but again, you know on one hand it's it's Confusing and so forth, but on the other hand, that's what it means To be a miracle. That's the whole point Of a miracle is this shouldn't happen. There shouldn't be any way to explain this

This isn't natural. This isn't something we're used to. This isn't something that makes sense And why would there be because you know god says I want you to live supernaturally naturally I want you to have senses that are uh You know more than your normal senses. I think that's what you said faith was Mm-hmm Faith isn't a isn't a abandonment of access to the dimensional world that your five senses are analyzing Or even an abandonment of your intellect like people in atheist try to sort of mock us like you know You're just throwing away your your ability to think and just have faith um Know what it is. It's an instinct. It's a sixth sense. It's a way to see Beyond eyes. It's a way to hear beyond the ears. It's a way to feel Beyond flesh and nerves. It it's something that can only be experienced

When you decide to believe in it When you decide to say So this is what this feels like you know you your intellect can take you to the edge There's a wonderful arguments for god and and philosophical logical You know arguments that are crucial and beautiful and helpful to people especially intellectual people who kind of need that Pragmatic approach that they can look at and sort of analyze and draw a conclusion But I just think out is so big and so mysterious That there comes a point where he says at this point you're gonna I'm gonna ask have to ask you to Kind of sit back and let me take the wheel and You're just gonna have to trust me and I want you to jump and I'll be there to catch you. I'm not you're not gonna see the hands You just have to believe me That's right and the only time we've ever done that on earth Is when we were kids

See children and babies. It's the only time in our life. We're innocent and it's the only time in our life That anything is possible there are really no miracles when you're a child Anything's possible and that's why you said come to me like a child. I've given you the universe I've even given you documentation of healed cancers um But to really get to me I'm gonna have to ask you to trust me even when it makes no sense and certainly miracles Or one way of observing God and still being befuddled but also I think being So grateful and so humbled and so um You know breathless in in something that Should bring us to our knees and bring us to the living God that you believe in And has worked in your life miraculously. I had my own little miracles. So I didn't really say it today

But um maybe another time but folks If you're out there and you're a Christ fall, you know you You should know that yeah, learn your apologetic learns your philosophy learn as much as you can And in your and they live it that's even more important because people if they don't see it in your life Then they don't think it's legit But also be inspired by these miracle stories um being inspired that God still does these things. This isn't uh legends These aren't myths This is only a book that actually historically proved real people then showed that they existed and proved their lineage to say God is here intervenes and sometimes he still does in the ways you can't Even imagine that book is called divine intervention 52 stories of God's miracles today the author is this gentleman a brother grise Daniel Missina and you can get the book where Daniel Go to amazon's yet if the comfortable the uh the audio book is out as well and

Folks remember uh get the book Get inspired become a disciple live hard and live for God and fear not one day you'll go home and all this will be irrelevant So go out and be Jesus instead of talking about him and remember if they ever say you're being politically incorrect Always say thank you for the compliment that means you do not allow sensors and

tyrants and anyone else who hates truth to censor you You know you're a christ follower so you're the last truth teller on earth and if you're not a christweller You need to be keep watching the show reading books like this and perhaps you might join our family and go find the great Experience you can ever have in me.
