Brampton Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Oakville Shooting

Halton Regional Police just charged a 29-year-old guy from Brampton with attempted murder after

a shooting in Oakville.

It happened Friday just afternoon on Progress Court, near the South Service Road.

The suspect in one vehicle fired multiple shots at another car trailing him, then sped

off Eastbound toward Fourth Line.

No one got hit, which is a huge relief, and cops say it looks like a targeted hit with

no other suspects on the loose.

He's basing two counts of attempted murder, two for discharging a firearm with intent, plus

unauthorized possession of a gun, and failing to follow A. Release Order.

They held him after court Sunday, and he's back in Milton Court Wednesday.
