What started as a show about the Dallas Cowboys signing Sam Howell turned into a reaction to the Baltimore Ravens backing out of their trade for Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby. What is the latest on the Cowboys and Crosby?

Yeah, what's up, cowboy fans? I just disappeared from the show. I don't see anybody on the show. Okay, I'm back.
I feel like I just eat like I dream of Genie, man. You just kind of pop it in and pop it out.
Okay, this one's this one I feel like is a test. I said, when the cowboys do anything, we will have an emergency pod. Not
shouldn't have said that, but I did. Listen, this is the greatest death sign that cowboys have made in
cowboy. Oh, damn. All right. No, no, no, no, you, you want to, you want to talk to hookums and all that
other kind of nonsense? All right. I don't want to hear another word. Nobody tell me about no
bazooka Joe about throwing from 97 yards. Sam home. Sam home. Sam home. Sam home. Let's go.
The tar here legend is home. He is probably going to challenge that press guy for that starting spot
this year. All right. I'm going to go. Yeah, I'm going to go. Sam's going to. Yeah. So the cowboys signed
Sam Howell to a lawyer deal. The Sam Howell. Don't disrespect. Don't disrespect because you'll lose.
You'll lose a arm. As long as, as long as that then with that need them, we're all too. Don't
disrespect. All right. Don't disrespect. You'll lose two fingers. Nuckled deep. If you disrespect, Sam Howell.
All I'm saying is I don't know if they just signed the backup quarterback or the third string
quarterback, but I screwed up and I told you DLS viewers that we're going to tell you anytime they
did anything. It counts. It counts. And now I'm done. The Cowboys signed Sam Howell.
I don't know if that means they quit on Joe Milton. I don't know if it means that Sam Howell got
$900,000 and he's going to watch Joe Milton practice. I have no idea. Are we going back in on Max
Crosby? Max Crosby to the ratings is dead. He ain't passing a physical. He can't pass a physical.
And now the question is are the Cowboys back in and it sounds like the answers no. I have nothing
for you on Sam Howell. I can't help you. Well, I can tell you Sam Howell. I can't. I mean,
the Reese's peanut butter cups. Somebody said I can't eat or dip before surgery. Well, guess who
breaks rules because I've been dipping all day. I was supposed to quit tobacco four or we could go
but I can't. I'm objective. The young kids say demon home, demon home, save house,
whole baby, save house, whole the future of the cat. We're about to get a ring. Ring, ring me, baby.
Jesse and Jeff last night we didn't do a part for Sam Williams. Okay. So we didn't do one
every time it did something right. Yeah, I didn't do one for Sam. No, but I said we would.
I didn't. I didn't count Sam because he's not an addition. Sam Howell is at least an addition,
but I do not help you. I am not qualified to analyze the epic battle of Joe Milton versus Sam Howell
for the right to be the guy that if that gets hurt this season. It's over because I can't help you.
Is he is he second or is he third clearance?
One beat. One beat. One beat. Okay. I mean, okay. Let's do. We still got the other guy. We've got four
quarterbacks. We still got the other guy. CD and George Pickens had to battle it for number one.
Sam Howell, baby. Sam Howell. Let's let's get to the real news tonight. Let's get to the real
news. Max Crosby. What were you doing when the Ravens shut down Max Crosby? Stop it. What were you doing?
And how much of you think the Cowboys will get back in it? I was because they're not they're not
right now. What? They're not going to get back in it. But how much of you think maybe the Cowboys got
a chance? I thought maybe you consider it back in it, but I'll pull me away to come
back. Come on, man. Come on, man. We're not doing this. There's real news. Can you flunk
Roshong Gary on his physical? Sure. And then offer the Raiders that pick because here's because
I didn't know where Crosby was medically. But if he can't pass a physical, you can't make the
trade. And I get it. Like I saw what Jane said. Like he was never going to pass physical at this
point based on where he is in his recovery or whatever. That's crazy. You said you're getting too
first round picks and I don't and I don't know how he's physically. Passed a physical is all
subjective to each team. First of all, if you knew you knew Max Crosby is coming off on
Boneska's injury. I mean, yes, three a month ago. So you knew coming into this and that was what
was going to be anytime you see someone that's like, oh, he didn't pass the physical. That's
subjective by the team doctors. They're the team decides on whether or not they want to risk,
you know, you know, because they can make some changes in that somewhere, somewhere alone
to lie with this whole thing. And this isn't the first floor of the Baltimore Ravens in rescinding
a trade. They did it in 2018 with Ryan Grant. They did it again in 2020 with another player. So
they will, they will go into these deals and pull out of these deals for medical reasons.
Because they've been known to do it in the past. They did it twice before. This particular
one, but this one, of course, sends shockwaves throughout the entire national football league in
Ripples. Because we're talking about, we're talking about one of the best past brushes in the
lead. There are a lot of people wanted. And when they found out that he was going to Baltimore,
they pivoted and settled in with a different direction. Now they're going to try to get back in
in the play. Well, apparently Max Crosby's agent is saying that he is right on schedule,
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So, um, okay.
You can have Osa and a two. No, I think, I think a first round is still going to be out there.
In my opinion, I think a first round pick, maybe not two first round picks anymore,
but I think a first round pick will still be an option for the, the, the, the, the, the,
the Ocala Vegas Raiders for Max Crosby. Yeah. I mean, I guess, yeah, I mean, I guess he's still
worth the one. I didn't, I wouldn't, uh, I wouldn't in the loop on when a surgery was and all that.
But yeah, if he's like a month off of a surgery, of course, he can't pass physical. What do you
want him to do in the physical? He's recovering from a surgery. But, but look, what to keep
pointed here is that Jerry has found a doctor to pass Jason Witten on the physical, right? You
can find a doctor that can patch the physical. He's like, you can find a doctor to say you can hurt,
get your not healthy to participate in training camp. You know what I mean? But I'm not looking for a doctor
to pass. I'm not looking for a doctor to pass physical. If a guy's dropped up, I won't know it.
And if you make a trade, no one needs jacked out because you wanted to, you're stupid.
I, I agree. But, at least from the reports, this is, this may not just be he didn't pass me.
There's something going on with the Ravens here because, you know, just talking to him,
listening to other reporters talking with this end of the league is that, you know, because, because
if you look at the Ravens tweet, it didn't say Plunk the physical. He said the Ravens rescinded the
trade. And so there, there, there, there's some funny business in the wording of how the
Raiders are, I don't think they agree with the physical being the issue.
But at the end of the day, you know, do they have to get rid of them? And where is
you going to go? And again, how do you, what's the market now? After all the things that the
Raiders have done to replace them and things like that, what's the market now? And how do you,
because he's definitely not getting too first. He's not getting too first.
If the Raiders wanted to, if the Raiders wanted to, they still have the cap room to welcome Max
Crosby back. Now, I don't know that relationship is already fractured as far as what the Raiders,
even, even with all the sighted that they already have made, they still have room to take
on his cap for this year, if that was the case. So that may be the Raiders still also saying,
we're going to get what we want, or we'll, you know, we'll keep them at home with us.
So that's one of the things. It's not like the Raiders are up against the wall and saying that
they may have to resend some contracts because, you know, it was, it was too much that they could
take on, but they have the capacity to take on Max Crosby with everything they just,
they just did a free agency.
Well, and let's, and let's bring it home. As of now, the Cowboys are not planning on to get back
into the mix. As of now, they do not plan on getting back into the mix with Max Crosby.
But what another note is there is smoke. There's starting to be smoke surrounding OSA and his
security with the Cowboys that, you know, we started talking about last week at the Cowboys,
I said that OSA, these people didn't like their role in this new defense. The certainly Jeff
was being messy early this week, trying to say that maybe OSA could be traded. You know,
we looked at the numbers, even though he just signed. And there is, you know, so smoke
regarding where the teams think of making offers now to the Cowboys for OSA digging Zulu.
How about 20 and OSA? I don't know if the Raiders would want OSA. So here's my thing though.
If Max is on schedule with his recovery and the Cowboys are out on a deal that they were in on
right before the Ravens offered two first round picks. That means the only way that
the only thing that has changed is you are telling me that having Rashon Gary on your team has
made you out on Max Crosby and that's insane. Unless you're just saying we cleared the money to be
able to carry him and we don't want to clear the money to do more to go get Max. Like this would
just be the ultimate bus to budget test. If you finish second in the max, nothing's changed
with him health wise. Make the trade. How does trading a fourth round pick for a year now for
Rashon Gary? Stop you from wanting to make a trade you wanted to make a few days ago
if nothing's changed with him physically. And if there's something, and if there's some physical
questions, you can make it a trade depending on play time. You know, like it's a first if he
plays 12 games or it goes out to a third or whatever else. If it's nine games or I don't know how
many games in this, you can make a trade contingent on his ability to be on a field.
All right. I'm going to say what somebody in chat said they're bluffing on Max Cowboys
going to trade for Max tomorrow. You guys are going to have a great emergency pod. There's no way
you were in on him two days ago and adding Rashon Gary took you out. There's no way. That's crazy.
And I know I'm eating during the emergency pod, but the title of it is about Sam Howell. So I'm
just not taking it that serious. Okay. But welcome. Welcome to DFW. Yeah. Yeah. Everybody.
Welcome to the Cowboys, baby. Take advantage of the limited time intro off for $36 to be a
die-hardest draft season. It's good time to do it. Make sure you're subscribed to the DLS Cowboys
channel. Sam Howell's a Cowboy. Just tune in tomorrow for when the Cowboys
mix Crosby and they'll be part in. And I'll be.
We'll grow season baby. We'll grow. We'll grow. We'll grow.
