We're less than a week away from the NFL draft, Tyson Sin gaining some traction to maybe
be the next Cardinals franchise quarterback all as well in Cardinalsville, right?
We can keep the incident more rolling.
Nobody, no, no days without incident as far as the Arizona cars multiple days.
Yeah, actually don't go so far.
There is a major incident going down, especially as it pertains to Cardinals quarterback room.
Jacobi Perset, Johnny Benerable, is holding out.
You know what?
At the end of the day, this is like when you give a toddler ice cream for dinner, you can't
blame the kid, blame the team.
This is the Cardinals fault and they need to take their medicine and it's coming up.
The KGNX Cardinals starts now.
Hey, hey, welcome in to the UK presented by our friends at Circle K.
Blockle up for this one.
It's the pH and it's Cardinals hot as the premier number one in the world.
There is one cardinal podcast.
Like and subscribe.
Leave us a five star wherever you get your program.
Yeah, I'm Johnny Benerable.
He's Bull Brock in studio.
Okay, no, a man behind the Mac today and here I thought, let's have a night, a little
Friday show, maybe do a mock draft, talk a little Jeremiah love, right?
Drop a couple top 30 nuggets and then the Cardinals and their backup quarterback have
torpedoed everything and it's time to unleash, Bull Brock.
Yes, it is.
Yeah, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse around this team.
And you couldn't penetrate the vibes for a third overall pick next week.
Cardinals were able to do that.
Good on them.
How about that burnt marble?
How about chef?
I see you in the chat.
Our guy Steven Jackson also, we got Mickey, Nahim.
I see you Ryan Webb, Jane Goodman, everybody light in it up with their supporter emojis,
become a pH next sports supporter here on YouTube.
You get access to the all of the emojis, the entire course.
Collection of videos we have on the channel, don't want to miss out on that.
But man, we don't have any time to spare.
We've got to get into the conversation because we thought we're going to continue our draft
talk.
That has to be put on hold in the meantime because Ian Rappaport dropped this little nugget
about 11 a.m. this morning, Johnny.
Yeah, let's take a look at it as Boni seeding when this news came out here.
Jacobi Berset, according to sources, is not attending phase one of the offseason program
and is asking, and this is the key word for an extension that pays him as a starter.
Berset said to make 9,26, only has 1.5 million in guarantees and one security.
Arizona appears willing to address it.
But last sentence, cold sweat down your brow there if you're a cardinal fan.
I'm going to defer to my co-host here because I have a lot of things to say about this.
But let me just first start off by saying Cardinals, this is your fault.
You're responsible for this.
You leaked it out in free agency that Jacobi Berset was going to be your starter.
And now they're backtracking.
This is an embarrassment.
I'm good for Jacobi trying to get his money.
I'm never going to poo poo that, but it's going to feel like I'm very negative to Jacobi
Berset today.
The Cardinals have made their bet.
And specifically, Gianmani Austin Ford, this is just another master class in quarterback
malpractice to go along with the likes of Desmond Ritter, Joshua Dobbs, Clayton Tune, Colt
McCoy, cutting Kyler Murray.
I mean, his resume speaks for itself.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
Yeah.
You can't run from the fact that this is an indictment on the state of the organization
more so than us attacking Jacobi Berset.
When him and his representation clearly are doing like with anybody in a business like
the NFL, trying to utilize leverage, but is this not the saddest holdout and maybe professional
sports history?
I mean, I am hard pressed to find a more embarrassing holdout than a guy coming off one win
in 12 starts saying, pay me more money, please.
Like that.
I can't believe that this is coming up.
I mean, we had a couple interactions with Jeremy Fowler, ESPN insider, just great work,
right?
Throughout this off season.
And anytime we brought up Jacobi Berset, especially with him trending towards becoming
kind of the incumbent.
He was the quarterback to end last season.
Well, Kyler Murray was out and he could have continued in that role in their local reports
that he was going to do so that if that was going to be the case, Jacobi Berset was going
to be asking for a raise.
And I always kind of like chuckled and I, yeah, yeah, I mean, certainly could, right?
I mean, he's making, you know, backup money or whatever, but that became a reality today
with the with the report coming out of, you know, off E and rap reports, Twitter account.
And then him furthering that on his with his report on NFL network.
And it's just the Arizona Cardinals putting themselves in this position to where Jacobi
Berset and his representation are in the spot to be quarterback one for an entire season
and in the spot to feel like they have leverage to try to take advantage of the Cardinals
and ask for more money and more guarantees and more years.
So he's not a lame duck quarterback going in the season, making backup money.
It really is just an unfortunate just reality check, further reality check where this organization
is currently sitting.
Yeah.
And again, I don't want to make this personal with with Monty Austin Ford, but I feel
like some of those, and I like Monty as a person, I mean, super nice guy has always been
good to you and I.
I'm speaking to Monty Austin Ford and the organization if they're listening to this
podcast, Monty specifically, this is your legacy right now as a general manager.
This is what you want to be remembered for.
You're going to get one shot at this.
And this is how you're operating as the top personnel executive for an NFL franchise.
What could you imagine John Schneider and John Lynch and Sean McVey and less need seeing
this on a Friday news dump and thinking to themselves, well, there's six wins.
And they might have thought that anyway, but it's just like what an unserious franchise,
even if they don't go through with this, that they allowed for it to get this far.
Let's turn the clocks back about a month and a half ago when we were sat it up for free
agency and there was buzz around this team and there were ample options for this team
to go external for a clean slate.
We didn't love the idea, but Jimmy Garoppolo is available.
Cousins is available.
They inquired on that.
That's been that's been broken now.
Malik Willis was heavily tied to this franchise and they came out and what did they do?
They whiffed on Jimmy G. They whiffed on Malik Willis, even though they had more money
than Miami, then they signed Gardner Minshu in a panic move, paid him $9 million.
And fraudulently leaked it to John Gambadaro, the first day of free agency to snuff out
any kind of fan excitement that Jacobi percent would be their starter.
And I put a tweet out that day, I said, this is one of the most embarrassing days to be
a cardinal fan that I can remember.
Fast forward to April 17th, they are still eating that decision.
And if they could go back in time, they wouldn't do it.
We put out a short that day entitled do nothing, say nothing, because even if this is your
intent, it does not help you.
And guess what Jacobi percent career backup journey men, one in 11 smelled blood in the
water with his agent and now we're embarrassing you six days before the NFL draft where
you look like a joke franchise.
You finally had some cachet and some juice, Jeremiah love, Ty Simpson, David Bailey,
fresh start, Michael Floor, you had a good press conference yesterday.
And the franchise fumbled this completely to the point where whomever or however you
chose to operate when you leaked that information, start over with that department.
Because again, what a stupid decision that was, we set it at the time and it's a stupid
decision today.
Yeah, it's clear.
I mean, the them signing men's shoe and where he stands as far as the landscape of the
NFL and the quarterbacks, it furthered the ability inexplicably for Jacobi percent and
his camp to have leverage to even make this crazy request.
It's not crazy on Jacobi percent, but it is crazy.
It is.
And I'm sure it's just like between him and his rep representation there are probably
just like, should we, should we ask for more money?
This just seems like, right, they're putting us in this position like somebody in the organization
spoke too soon and spoke and definitively leaked me as the starter.
And also Gardner Menshu is just like, percent was a quintessential backup.
Yeah.
I mean, if you're just kind of looking at the room and reset coming off of having a
rapport with the previous playmakers and getting 12 starts regardless of just winning one,
it all points to percent at the moment and throughout this off season, being the QB1,
which is insane.
And of course, like with that, you go and you say, well, I was brought in to do this job
and I was paid accordingly.
And now I've just become, you know, an important network, I've been promoted.
Maybe I should be paid accordingly.
So that's where, and that's not Jacobi percent's fault at all.
It's not.
And that's where the Cardinals, as you were pointing out, where there was, there was things
that were trending finally through this nightmarish off season, because they couldn't get
out of their own way, like with positivity, a week out from the draft, being tied to
one of the franchise, or one of the quarterbacks that people would, Dean, maybe a strong quarterback.
Yeah.
Franchise worthy.
And you know that they, they were bracing for this based on their comments yesterday,
and after the reports two months ago about Jacobi being QB1, Monty Austin Ford and Michael
the floor, both being non-committal to a starting quarterback less than 24 hours ago during
the pre-draft process.
It's been, it just, in a, just air after air, misstep after misstep, and it's unbelievable
that the Cardinals fans have to endure this because you're right, like at the beginning
of free agency, they cut this fan base out from the legs as far as hope.
Yeah.
Like once they were regaining any type of traction towards that, next day, it's, it's,
it's taken, they're taken down again.
They can't not do it.
Yeah.
They don't know how to harness fan excitement, sustain it, and build on it, right?
Like, whether, and I think it's out of pure ignorance, by the way, because when they
leak that out, I think they thought the reception would be, yeah, we, people like Jacobi
Berset.
This will work out.
It's like, you're the only franchise that would do this, and I don't want to rehash
points we made four to six weeks ago.
But what other NFL franchise would be leveraged by Jacobi Berset six days before the draft?
Jacobi Berset and his agent saw that announcement yesterday, because like, I don't think this
Berset thing is new, but they, they leaked it today, his agent him leaked it today, because
they saw the Cardinals non-committal to him yesterday, which we applauded, and he's
like, I want more money.
And then the, the, the most despicable part of this whole thing is the blurb where, and
we don't have clarity on this, that the Cardinals are like open to, meeting him, not in the middle,
but like, just like open to the idea, the hell you are, if that's money, awesome for
it, open to that, you're done, you'll be done, what a horrendous decision that would
be.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't necessarily agree full hearted with that.
I think that you have to understand like what that would, would look like, you're telling
me, you, the, in extension, you're giving him, no, I would say it wouldn't come in the
form of, you know, a little bit of extra cash, but that's not what he's asking.
Six.
They're asking for security, but this is a negotiation, this is, this is no doubt about
it, a negotiation that hasn't gone, that has not gone well.
Okay.
Then I would imagine that this negotiation began fairly, fairly soon, if not immediately
after they brought in Gardner Minshue, and immediately that it was leaked out, who
QB1 was, and in year one of Michael Floor, and this is just a sign that the sides aren't
close.
No.
The Cardinals are much in the camp of, they understand who Jacobi Berset is, the league
understands who Jacobi Berset is, but there is some way that you could manipulate it from
Jacobi Berset's camp that he is, he is much, he is more than a backup, right?
And that's, and that's me trying to look at it from their standpoint, and they should
do that.
You should, if you're in a profession, I encourage you to find a way to go and try to do the
best for yourself, for yourself financially, and guarantees and all that.
And that's what the NFL people are seeking out.
They want more guarantee money.
There's not any guarantee money left.
It's not.
Jacobi Berset's fault.
Jacobi Berset aligned himself with a franchise with low self-esteem, coming off a tumultuous
relationship with Kyler Murray, and Jacobi Berset, fair or not, and the Cardinals would
be out of their mind if they didn't realize this, both put it in a tweet a month ago, a large
segment of Jacobi Berset's numbers and statistics were earned in the fourth quarter of garbage
time blowout games.
So anybody, whether it's Josh Weinfist or Shaft or anybody talking and talking about his
impressive statistics in 11 games, 12 games, guys, we watched the games, okay?
But we saw it with our own eyes.
He had a couple of close losses against Jordan Love and Daniel Jones, and in the second half,
they got their breaks beaten in weekly.
They got mercy ruled weekly.
It was, it was a running joke in the fantasy community.
It's like, all right, fourth quarter.
Here's Tray Michael Wilson and Jacobi Berset time.
That's not, and that's not real football.
I thought we were done enduring that and to talk about like, hey, we're going to put a plan
together for a 33 year old, we're going to, he's untapped, right?
We're going to hit him in extension, fire everybody, legitimately fire everybody.
He is a high level backup that can be a competent spot starter.
If this is the plan, it's over.
I have sympathy for Monty Austin for it to a point.
If Monty Austin for it meets with the media yesterday, after being strong armed, I tell
Mackie to talk about why he didn't spend money in free agency.
And his response was, we have guys here, we have to extend and you page a Kobe, Berset
resign, resign because it 15 and 30.
What is it?
36?
It's a joke.
You're not operating.
You're operating like an arena team.
This is an expansion XFL level operation.
If you're extending to Kobe, Berset, after what we've seen, get serious.
You know what I would do, set a precedent, release him, trade him for pennies on the
dollar, name Gardner, Mention the starter, have Tyson Simpson learned from Gardner, Mention.
Yeah.
And clean yourself up as a franchise.
It's about as unprecedented as I've seen, like we've seen holdouts, some believe in
this league's history.
And it's usually, you know, deserved, it's usually guys, you know, that have had career
seasons.
It's, it's guys that are due for an extension any way that are going into the final season
of their deal.
Yeah.
Michael very rarely have we seen a career backup who just by being like, you know, the
last man standing in that room, coming off of one win in 12 starts and saying, pay me
or I'm not showing up.
It's like the real world professional equivalent of that because it, I mean, it's hilarious
to me to think like you go out there and you win one game as a starter and you said, I,
I don't feel like I'm, I'm being paid up to what you've been asking me to do.
What other franchise would allow this to happen where an employee with that resume
bow would feel empowered to do that?
The biggest part of this is that Jacobi percent in his representatives feel like the cardinals
are vulnerable and naive enough to take advantage of.
And if that doesn't spell the state of this franchise, I don't know what does.
If, if Matthew Stafford got hurt and Jacobi percent came in and put up post statistics
and went one in 11, he's not trying to strong arm less sneak John Lynch, John Schneider,
like there, there are probably like two to four franchises jets, browns, cardinals were
something like this could happen and it, I mean, but again, this is their fault.
They made a mistake.
If they could go back and do it over again, surely they would because what a stupid decision
that was leaking that out.
I mean, there's probably guys that play positions like wine receiver or all over the field,
right?
That don't get saddled with the team's record as much as quarterback call that unfair.
Whatever you feel about the QB stat, when stat, but they're, they're, I'm so struggling
to find where a guy was so staggeringly under 500 and said, I need a race, I need a race
here.
And to your point about the empty calorie stats, I mean, I'd pull it and it was like, he
probably, he had of his 23 touchdowns, he had 13, but we could call it legitimate touchdowns
in 11.
The other 10 came in the six games that were in the second half of blowout losses.
He's two and 15 in his last 17 starts as an NFL quarterback.
He's a nice guy.
He's a high level backup.
Players like him and I'm sure and you hope to goodness as far as the decision makers
and in place.
And we are at the point where it's the representation of your Kobe percent felt like
they were at such an impasse that they needed to go public with it, which is good.
Right.
That the money asked for it and crew were like, you want starter money, but look at your
record as a starter.
It doesn't, we're not, we're not speaking the same language here.
The math is not math in on this.
What also needs to be emphasized is that Jacobi were said fair or not has a ticking clock
of six more days until that his quest could expire and needs to expire.
Let's examine that angle plus a mock draft on this halacias Friday hit the like.
Don't fire it up to tell you about our friends at branded bills.

And then I saw everybody with the double B here in the Valley and I said, well, that
looks like a great hat and it looks super comfortable.
And of course, my world was opened up to branded bills again.

That's the ad.
No bells and whistles.
No, guys.
I said no bells and whistles.
No.
Trambones are fun.
Visit LibertyMutual.com and make the switch today.
You know, I should, people are saying like Johnny Bow, you guys are being too negative.
And to that, I say, we're here to hold the organization accountable.
And there are people in this market that we're friendly with that I have respect for.
Am I a speaker, Bow?
But if your response today is anything of the sort of, well, Jacobi is their starter.
They should pay him.
This is a non story.
Sit this out.
Would be my recommendation.
I ask would be, we are desperately trying to ask more of this franchise that it's averaging
four wins per season over the last half decade.
Do not give them an out to Dilly Dally, which Jacobi percent is a starter and have a hold
out that the entire NFL is laughing at.
It is a story.
This is an embarrassment.
This is a strike against Monias and Ford.
We need to hold them accountable as it relates to how they've handled this because it's been
poorly handled.
Well, it's a, it's a bit of Stockholm syndrome, isn't it?
I mean, it's, it's basically where the Arizona Cardinals and people who are trying to talk
their way around this is they are just, the circumstances that the Arizona Cardinals
are responsible for.
You're just trying to say, well, under these circumstances, sure, this makes sense.
But none of it is, is, is acceptable.
No, not, not any, any, for any 32 fan bases should say, I'm fine with that.
I'm fine with, I was just listening to Ian Rapp report talk about it.
I mean, like Jacobi percent wants to be paid like a starter.
We know what that, you know, resembles what it would take to do that and he doesn't know
if the Arizona Cardinals will do that kind of adding context to it, like they're willing
to maybe give a bump, but to get to like true NFL quarterback starting money, it seems
like they're, they're far away from that just according to Ian Rapp report of NFL network.
But to go through this timeline and to sit here on April 17th and say, well, you know,
he is the court, he is the starting quarterback of the team.
We should, you know, it makes a whole all the sense of the world and you should pay, no,
you shouldn't accept that.
I mean, the fact that they cut Kyler Murray, they're absorbing a large amount of Kyler
Murray's dead money in order to do so.
And then he can go on to one of the other 31 teams and play for an extremely discounted
amount of money as a starting caliber quarterback.
And then you're going to accept and pay your backup quarterback who went one in 11 and 12
starts.
And you're going to say, we're going to pay you close to what starting QB is getting
this league despite you not showing at any point during your career that you are what
you're asking for.
That's not, it's just just because you are the top of the depth chart right now.
It doesn't mean that you, we should fulfill your request.
Thanks for, you know, making your case, you know, you did all the, you know, put in the
legwork to ask for this raise, but at this point, I mean, how much, how long does Jacobi
Bressette hold the starting range anyway?
And it's just like how important is Jacobi Bressette to this franchise in the long term?
Right here big zero, whether it's Jimmy G Jacobi Gardner Menshu, everybody understands
that assignment.
Like there's some Stockholm syndrome happening here locally like guys, there's nowhere else
even with the jets from a media standpoint, this would get torn to shreds.
But like the jets have a plan, you know, Smith for a year, let's get through this.
Here Aaron Glenn's going to get fired.
We have our three ones.
We know what we're doing, right?
Same thing with the Browns.
It's like we traded for Deshan Watson.
We can't get out of his contract.
We brought in Shedore, Dylan Gabriel, like this is what it is.
The Cardinals have no ties to anybody beyond this year.
Kyler Murray's contract to Bose Point is a problem only because of the number that
it represents, but I'm going to tell you what will be a bigger problem when he has success
with Kevin O'Connell and your paying Jacobi Berset to start one in four and what an embarrassment
that would be.
I guess I wouldn't have an issue with giving him a small bump, but you yourself naively
gave a contract to Gardner Menshu that no one else was giving him.
So the optics to his camp that being Jacobi's probably don't look great, but you created
this mess just like the Jacobi mess.
These are byproduct of your own actions, Cardinals.
I mean, I'm saying Cardinals, money, money, you did this, you cut Kyler Murray.
You couldn't trade him.
You fired Jonathan Ganon.
Now you're on your own and your option is to extend Jacobi Berset.
You have 15 wins and three seasons.
You inherited that scarlet letter and you're going to let this get out.
You have one option and one option only and we all know what that is.
And I got 575 people watching my calls and I know exactly where I'm going, you have to
draft Tyson Simpson next Thursday.
No questions asked.
That is your last piece to play.
If you don't and we get a little blurb that hey, they came to grips with or they came
to an agreement with Jacobi Berset on Friday and here comes Drew Aller in the fourth round
resigned.
It's over.
You're going to have a new general manager by Thanksgiving.
That's it.
Now I'm not saying it's the right or wrong decision certain of my co-host pushes back
and I respect his opinion.
If anybody believes that anything other than Tyson Simpson is saving money, Austin's for
job, especially after this, you're done.
You're absolutely done.
We have reached Tyson Simpson or bust.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
The Tyson Simpson as far as where we are right now, the alert is at it all time.
Hi.
Do you think that's true, by the way?
I mean, it can't be both.
You can't whiff on Tyson Simpson and then also give into Jacobi Berset's demand.
I mean, you're right, that would be, I mean, even though we're already past strike three
here, I mean, that's, that's like, that's if you swing and miss at the third strike and
then also corkscrew yourself into the ground and tear your hamstring and your groin and
your ACL and continue to make just a fool of yourself, like that's the, I mean, that's
how embarrassing this is.
It has reached just a big time level of you need to provide this fan base, some sort
of hope at the quarterback position.
And that's what Tyson Simpson would represent.
And some of the most trying times in NFL organization has ever seen from the most important
position in sports to have a guy who went 111 as a starter, come in here and say, give
me more money, give me starter money.
Think about what that would look like.
But Jacobi Berset were to approach, like, just, like starter quarterback $20 million.
$20 million.
What did, what did Malik Willis get?
About $22 million.
And you're going to, you're going to sit there and you say, well, we can't spend on Malik
Willis and free agency because of this big old dark cloud of a Kyler Murray dead money
contract left on a books, but then you're going to, in turn, when you're just pressed,
the slightest amount from a backup quarterback, who is a backup quarterback?
I won't accept anybody that says he's more of the backup.
He's a quarterback.
He's a backup.
He's not.
He's not.
Sign them as a backup.
Right.
This GM sign them as a backup.
If they, for some reason, given in demands and he's making close to Malik Willis, like that,
that's also just mind bogglingly dumb.
Ranger $100 super chat from the rafters, like sting vintage WCW coming down with the
bad.
He says, I'm so done with Monty fire him now, trade Jacobi, draft Ty Simpson, roll
with Minchew.
I think Minchew would beat out Jacobi anyway.
Ranger, he also has a relationship with Michael floor.
Like, can we, Jacobi was set has never played for Michael floor and was a droop-hatsing guy.
100% cut Jacobi percent yesterday or tried to trade him during the NFL draft.
Maybe that's the plan.
I asked Bull that yesterday, by the way, Ranger.
I asked him.
I said, is there a chance that when they draft Ty Simpson, they will trade Jacobi
percent.
At the time you had reservations, would you like to rekindle that conversation, also
Ranger the goat?
$100.
Yeah.
It's unbelievable.
Ranger continue to just blow us away with your generosity.
We're so thankful for that.
I mean, it reaches to the point where it's like, are you not grateful for the opportunity
that you haven't received consistently throughout the 10 years?
I understand.
Like, we can give you a bump.
We'll consider a bump.
But if you're going to dig in on this, like, really, what is the difference between you
and Gardner-Menshew?
Don't make us revisit that.
Don't make us see if maybe we should move forward Gardner-Menshew and then maybe get
a younger quarterback in this room.
We were already looking at that.
Don't force our hand here because everybody's replaceable, but as far as Jacobi percent,
QB1, the utmost elite expendable in the NFL, as far as it stands.
And don't set a precedent where you're getting strong armed by backup players.
I'm Monty Austin for it, and I caved to Jacobi percent.
I'm glad for Bid you ever have to pay real starters.
I know he extended training wide, and that was a big thing that, I mean, of all the things
that Kine did at the end of the tenure, he was getting strong armed by every player that
had.
I have a tummy ache.
DJ Humphries.
That's what it is.
Hold it.
DJ Humphries.
Tummy ache.
Marcus Gold and Phantom.
I dropped to eight.
And that actually might have happened.
But like, remember all that crazy shit that was happening?
Jacobi percent.
I have a hang nail.
I'm out of OTAs.
Give me $20 million right now.
It's like Jacobi percent.
So I'm Monty Austin for it and go shaded the Kendrick born and Gardner Mint you deals.
And was like, I want some of that.
Can't fault him.
If you're Michael Bidwell, you might have to step in here.
We're six days away.
If you're Michael Bidwell, and they butcher this next Thursday, and you're being strong
on bridge, Jacobi percent may have to fire Monty Austin for Sunday or Monday.
Not I mean, you got through the draft.
That's the big portion of how the GM his responsibility.
Monty hasn't signed a key free agent.
There's no time time signings in June and July coming in his tenure.
He's never done it.
If you're Michael Bidwell, Monty Austin for it is on the clock and needs to land this
plane next Thursday.
Otherwise, I would start searching for a new general manager because like, this is my
stance as a as a content creator, media member in this market.
How they are operating right now is unacceptable for the average Arizona Cardinal fan.
I would not accept this.
Just like the John, like, we're buddies with Jonathan Ganon.
I want him to succeed.
It was awful how things ended.
You couldn't defend the record.
This is an extension of that.
Monty went from inheriting that 15 and 36 record to having a historically bad off season.
Yeah.
You're being a.
I'm not looking to evaluate Monty's players this fall.
I'm looking to evaluate how he does next Thursday.
If he fails, I would fire him on after the draft.
If they don't come away with a more optimistic quarterback room, yeah, I mean, I've seen
GM's be fired for less.
It is like you bring up JG.
It would be the equivalent of JG coming in after this season and be like, I'm black Monday
and before they give him his walking paper, say, I'd like a race, please.
Or be like, I need a new contract for Drew, right?
If that's what it would be like, it's like, but here's, but you know, I'm calling for
Monty's job.
He's got to land this plane.
Here's what I will say.
Monty asks him for it.
If you're listening, there's still time to correct this.
You can correct this.
You can make things right.
You can take care of the fan base next Thursday.
And we can all put this ridiculous request from Jacobi Preset out of our memory.
But here's what you need to do.
You need to make sure that Ty Simpson ends the night and round one is an Arizona Cardinal.
And I also think, and this is where Boni push back on each other.
I think you have to find a way to make Jeremiah love in Arizona Cardinal as well.
Every opportunity to just fit your little narrative.
Not only Ty Simpson, but also Jeremiah love.
Now, you're going to have to explain that one day.
I'm going to let you explain that one.
Plus another report that is pointing to the Cardinals being the Ty Simpson team come.
The NFL draft report.
And another one that we'll tell you about as well, that the Cardinals
could be poised to move and shake the first round board.
We'll get into that next year on pH and X Cardinals.
And I was not poised and prepared for that first crooked number on one of my robust cooling bills.
And I said, Bo, there's got to be a better way.

My love has not changed since early March.
But I audition myself to think that they are not doing it.
I still believe that they are going to try to trade down and take a tackle and then use that
animal to come up and get Tyson Simpson. However, we have gotten kind of to the point though
where if they make a pick third overall and David Bailey is not available, the Jeremiah Love
noise has not gone away. And we do feel like there's a pretty prominent individual within the
Cardinals organization that is pushing for this. So I mean, like I don't want to put the Jeremiah
Love thing to bed with you, Bo. But I also just I want to I want to live in reality, right?
Like the Cardinals don't live in reality and that's how we started the first 40 minutes of the show.
What's realistic with Jeremiah Love in this franchise for our audience right now?
I think that it is still on the table potentially, right?
Right. And it would have to have a unique set of circumstances happen.
Like who goes to who's not available and if there isn't a trade that they can find their way out
of the third overall pick for them to to consider Jeremiah Love. I mean, I think he would probably
be one of two players, but I think he would probably be the second of the two. And it would come
down to maybe a like last ditch, not pressure on a mony also for it to take the non premium position
player. Third overall. Do you think that other player would be Francis Mauinoa?
Yeah, I mean, I think Mauinoa is probably a lot lower than a lot of us want him to be.
He seems to have completely fallen out of favor as far as third overall, like a true third overall.
That's what I'm asking you. You said he'd be the second option. Third overall.
Yeah, I mean, at least. Yeah, probably a Reese.
We have an interview that's going to drop with Mike Garafolo. And he basically outlines
who's the fan of Jeremiah Love in the organization?
Take a guess. We're not going to tell you, but you can take a guess in the chat.
Here's what I would say to that. If they take Arvel Reese,
it would be a disaster, but on brand for how Monty's operated. The good news is,
if your anti-rease does feel like we have significant momentum for this team to trade out of
pick three. Yeah. Like real momentum. I'd be surprised that they don't at this point.
Right. I think the front, if you're asking, what's the front runner for the Arizona Cardinals
third overall? I would say, wholeheartedly, they are going to trade out of the third overall pick.
We've got the Jordan Schultz report. You've got Benjamin Albright reporting it. You've got
Tony Pauline reporting it. There are like the, if David Bailey's there, third overall,
I still think they trade out of it because I think they get a better package.
I think we're at the point where they're going to take a tackle somewhere between eight to 12.
They're going to get additional draft capital and they better move up for Tyson Simpson.
They're going to exit the first round with two first rounders, a right tackle and Tyson Simpson.
I think that is the overwhelming favorite for this team. It's going to take a lot for me to change
my mind. And if I think the fan base would be, say, a majority of them would be fine with that.
Yeah. Okay. Let's see. Like once it happens and it becomes a reality, people would start to kind
of embrace it a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I can tell you right now, there are people who after
that Jacobi percent tweet have become Tyson Simpson supporters just organically.
The tweet or like his Instagram where he's no, I think just the request. Yeah.
There was Jacobi percent on his Instagram put like six laughing emojis just on the like a black
screen because I think it was this though. I think he was looking at this.
Get that AI slap out of here. We don't produce that kind of thing here. You don't like that, Johnny?
You do. I love it. I'm having it in my house. I thought I was going to your backdrop.
I think you're going to probably go to. I don't want to change it. Turn around.
Listen, like I feel good about Tyson Simpson becoming an Arizona cardinal.
But then I then I see how the franchise is operating where Jacobi resets requesting pay raises
with holdouts. And I'm like, what? Like I know. Here's what I'm going to say because there are going
to be people that victory lap. And that's fine. We're in the content game. I'm not going to sit
here and, you know, dilly dally with this. They're going to be people if they don't take Tyson's
and they come at me and basically say, Ha, ha, you didn't get what you want. You predicted this.
Yeah. Not predicting anything. Do I want them to? Yes. Do I think it's the only card to play
if your money 100% are all the national insiders saying that they're going to take them 100%.
But like, Monty Austin Ford has been so unpredictably egregious this off season.
I don't we can't, I'm not going to sit here and say like, this is a guarantee.
I honestly like, they could, Monty could say like, hey, you know what? We really like
Drauer in the fourth round. I love Carson back. And the fan, you know, what the, Michael, the
fan basal really like Carson back in the fourth or fifth round. They're, they're so isolated.
They thought that the Jacobi percent starter leak announcement would be received well.
So like, I hope, hey, turn it on next Thursday. Figure it out. None of this other stuff.
Yeah. Lock it. Lock it. Lock it with reality, please.
That's asking them in the buck a lot of bad trends. That's asking them to somehow pull themselves
up out of a slump. Do they know how to do it? Do they have the tools to do so? There's the options
to do so. But can they do it? Like when you talk about again, it's been so egregiously bad.
And you say like, well, like Jeremiah love and Tyson Simpson, that would be the redeemer, right?
But it's like, that would be so against their nature. It's been so against the nature.
Like the only fun pick they've ever made is taught is Marv. And like, that was made by
almost the league for the most part for them. And I was like, they couldn't get away from it.
Now it's like, they're just, they just love to just take all the wind out of the sales,
all the fun out of it. It's like, we're going to be against the grain, but we're not going to
be against the grain in a fun way. We're not going to be chaos towards just like, hey, that's,
that's a hell of a ride. That was a, that was, I just surfed a big wave. And sure,
I like, I got thrown from it, but it was fun. It didn't just suck the entire time.
It's like, they, they want to have their cake and eat it too of like, we would like to be
a big boy NFL franchise and win games, but we're going to do things that are so against the grain
that not only are we going to lose spectacularly, we're going to piss off our fan base, right?
We're going, we're going to do it. I think from the idea of like, we want to be zero flash,
zero sizzle, we want to be the most blue collar group possible to where like, they're like, we
are, we're going to be the most button up blue collar group. And so we don't even like, look into
the fun aspects of this league from free agency. Well, and that's where Michael Bidwell needs to
step in. Yeah, fair or not. And I'm the entertainment part of this game. Like Michael Bidwell,
if you're listening like enoughs enough, I, I can appreciate what Moniaz and Ford has attempted
to do building this roster. Yeah, quote unquote, the right way after Steve Kai maxed out every
credit card. He's not spending in free agency. He wants to trade now. That's great. It was good
intentions. He's got 15 wins in three years. And the league is laughing at you because you're being
strong armed by Jacobi. Cut this out. Yeah. But we know more. I can't take this anymore. This,
when that tweet came out today, I said, this can't be happening. Yeah. He's in the fourth year of
a renovation. And he's sitting there and water's still leaking from the roof. You know, you got no
pain on the walls. We got the guy who plants the azaleas asking for a pay raise. It's like guys,
I can't, I don't have functional plumbing. And we had Jacobi were set asking for a raise.
Unbelievable. Yet very believable. We got 30 plus super chats. Let's get to those around the
corner. We might have to push our mock draft. No, because this has been such a disaster. Unbelievable.

Liberty. We both, regardless of the Thai Simpson hoopla, we both feel like the Cardinals are going
to trade down to take a tackle and they're going to put together a package that nets them
likely not picks next year, but picks this year. And they're going to be in a position where they,
I would assume, are going to have like multiple day two picks. Like a conservatively,
I don't think outside of maybe Kansas City. I don't think they're getting multiple
ones from Dallas. I think it's more likely you're looking at a New Orleans with both of
the third day two picks. Some kind of combination. My question for you is, if it's not to come up
for a quarterback and you need instant results and you need payout if you're money, Austin Ford,
what is the point of doing that? Other than just saying, hey, in a down draft, we watered down
the third overall pick. We didn't take Jeremiah Love or Arville Reese. And now look at us.
We've got three threes again. Like I just don't understand the logic behind that.
Yeah, what are you making change for? Right. And you've got it. You're doing it so you can pay out
potential trade back into the first round and make it easy without having to
give any 27 capital or anything significant that would take away from trying to create the correct
infrastructure ecosystem for a young quarterback to come into. And for the Cardinals to try to
you know, against all odds compete in this gauntlet of a division and continue to narrow the gap
roster wise while filling, you know, big holes at premium positions that remain like right tackle
and adding to the edge room and adding to the, you know, interior of the defensive line.
So yeah, it would make a whole lot of sense if they did trade down and then they also did not
try to make some sort of move for for Ty Simpson. It would be strange.
Let's jump in. Anything else from this whirlwind of a Friday before we jump. We got 32 super
chats. I mean, like, you're still beating down. I mean, it's a, it's a horrible, optics-wise is
horrible, right? I mean, as far as what has to happen, I mean, you being a Ty Simpson
like you should be happy for this. Am I, I don't know if I am because I don't
Ty Simpson is not on the team yet. Right. He may not be. He may not be. And then that would,
that's where I think you should truly kind of be up in arms. But like, this has reached this
kind of stalemate because the Cardinals unwillingness to meet Jacobi in his representations
demand so far. And that's the right move. Like what Jacobi brosets asking for, I think we're
almost in lockstep with the Cardinals and saying, no, no, not going to do that. We're not going
to engage in those conversations. But we are willing to give you a little bit of bump. I would
think something like similar to when Buddha requested a trade and they just kind of threw some more
guarantees in there to make them feel a little bit more comfortable for that season.
Do you take the notion of the Cardinals' willingness to negotiate as a sign that they're not going
to take a quarterback high? No. Because we both are in the camp of even if Jacobi's on this team
this year, they're not going to tie their future to him. Which is what he wants. He thinks that he
should get ridiculous. He thinks he should get a multi-year deal. Like, I think everybody in the
chat who is anti this disaster quarterback plan could at least understand, like, all right,
we have $30 plus million this year that we didn't spend. Here's a couple, there's
five million bucks for being a good soldier. That's fine. If he gets like two for 20, I honestly
wouldn't even care. If you're paying him $10 million to be a backup, next year.
Yeah. That's kind of how he's a backup. But he's your starter, though.
Because it's not the money to me. It's the optics of it. You're announcing it as you're our
starter. And now we're going through a negotiation publicly with Jacobi Frickin Bursad at 33 years old.
That it's the this is an optics problem. Sure. Don't have a viable developmental starting
quarterback on your roster and you're and you're doing public negotiations with players that
no other franchise outside of the jets would actively choose to start. You're in your own sandbox
with this. That's the problem. The money, whatever. Money doesn't spend money. It's they're going to
take care of Paris and Mike. I'm not worried about that. But it's the optics of negotiating publicly
with a backup who feels like he's a starter. And then you can steaming that. That's what's wrong
with this whole thing. Hardly and should not have to come to grips with any reality of Jacobi
Bursad starting the entirety of this year, much less 2027. I mean, Michael Bidwell was worried about
season ticket renewals this past winter. Like are you trying to piss people off?
Just don't make the deal before the draft. Find out what your fate is there. Yeah. And yeah,
like if they don't if they don't get a quarterback or the future or somebody that resembles that
or can be the placeholder for 2026. Which is only one quarterback that we have. And I'd say
then don't even don't say anybody. Just let just see this through and just whoever shows up.
What's he going to do? What's he going to do? Right. What they should do, as they should say,
this is your contract. Take your leave it. Maybe we'll give you a couple more million guarantees.
Yeah. If you box it that, cut him and sign Jimmy Garoppolo and set a precedent that weren't I going to be
strong on bright backup. It's like, what the hell are we doing as a franchise? That's a joke.
All right. You guys. Yeah. You guys are lighting up 40 superchats and a lot of them.
Very generous. High dollar amounts. Thank you so much. You guys have been crushing it all day.
Let's get to these. If we could, I got Shane on the Mac right now. Greg, at least we weren't paying
W. A. J. 50 million dollars a year. I'm not sure who that's in reference.
Will and the time I will Anderson. Yeah.
Yeah. That was beautiful for the Will Anderson contract extension to go down and then back to
back with the Jacobi with the Jacobi news. It was like in some of the same tweets like
Rappaport and Garoppolo were talking about it. It's like Will Anderson got paid. He's one of the
top paid non-quarterbacks in the league. How many mistakes can he make?
Sholes made that tweet yesterday about the Cardinals maybe trying to get Monty's
groove back with another 23 trade down. People crushed the deal. They traded out of
still disagree with making that move. Yeah. This roster was the worst. They need they didn't
have any assets. DeHop, they couldn't get anything for him. All they had was a third overall
pick and they needed to multiply assets and they did that. Now as far as what they did
falling that up with using Derrius Robinson taking him 26 overall like those missed
having cashed in the pitch. They did not cash it incorrectly, but I don't disagree with the move.
And also Paris Jr. is going to be extended and he's going to he's a franchise left tackle.
It should probably do that like today. It's time to get some good optics with this franchise.
New a little quicky Paris deal. Steven Jackson echoing the sediments I would say of 80% of
Cardinal fans saying get Jacobi were set off of this team as soon as possible. Set a print 100%.
Yeah. Jacobi, Gardener, Jimmy G. It's all the same. You can't set a precedent of,
hey, garbage time Jacobi, you're actually our guy. Yeah. Be a real franchise, please. Come on.
Thank you, Steve. And we got Tim who's been a member for five months.
Unbelievable. Thank you for the support, Tim. The Cardinals made Jacobi percent feel like
they were going to propose. And now they have cold feet. It's their fault. And I hate this
off season so far. Well said so far. I mean, it's been a it's been a nightmare for how long?
I mean, we live in a nightmare. Yeah. We never get anything good with this team. They don't win
in reality though. It really is. They he thought all along. They were going to they're going to
put a ring on it. It's like, yeah, some of that does fall in the shoulders of Jacobi
percent for not understanding where he stands in this league. Did they did they play
John Gambadaro? Gamble leaking that out. Did they did they play him? Why did they leak that out if
they don't want to back it up? I don't understand what the point of that was. Probably just short-sighted
information that was leaked. They probably didn't know that it was going to be
utilizes leverage. I mean, on the internet. Yeah, but who would have like,
hey, well, Jacobi's going to make a power play. He's going to want 20 like, come on.
I guess, whatever. But no, I mean, to the point like, it didn't it wasn't it wasn't a good move.
It was the biggest error this offseason. 100%. Yeah. Easily. I'd eat the mic.
$199. You guys going to be live this weekend. Probably not. Just because next weekend's
going to be a marathon. We have to say goodbye to our families. But yeah, I mean, like,
if if ball wanted to riff a mock draft on Sunday night, I probably wouldn't say no. But let's
let's see how the weekend goes. I still maintain we get a thousand likes. We'll we'll we'll live.
We'll do a watch along for draft day. I'd kill for Kevin Costeurs, my general manager right now
after the week we've had goes to Pat Tilly $20. What is exact scenario to draft tie? If he's so
good, why is he still on the board? Thank you, goes to Pat Tilly $20. We appreciate that.
All answer first because quarterbacks are misevaluated all the time. Lamar Jackson was pick 32.
Drew Breeze fell to the second round. Dak Prescott fell to the fourth round.
He fits the Cardinals offense. They need a quarterback worse than any team. I would argue of the
last half decade. And I think it fits exactly their timeline in terms of having playmakers to
distribute. You're going to have potentially a first and first round left and right tackle. I just
I think there are a lot of positives with him coming here. Well, that also goes to Pat Tilly. Like
as much as I. I'm skeptical about ties Simpson. You know, can he find success at the NFL level
given his measurements and his his lack of experience? Like where he's projected to go in the draft?
They're just not teams in those positions that need that need a quarterback. And like we talked
to somebody today who's like the Rams at 13 there. They're just chips in the middle of the table
trying to take advantage of this current roster like taking their quarterback in the future right
now, especially higher than he's projected. It doesn't fit. I mean, the only team you could really
make that case for is probably Pittsburgh. And and just like, you know, as we we talk about
our Val Reese is a high bid player and how we have skeletons in the closet as far as those go.
The Steelers had Kenny pick it like they don't want to potentially relive that nightmare. He's
not a fit schematically. So there's just a bunch of variables that go into it to where I think
as far as teams and their ability to get back in like the Cardinals at the top of the second round,
what they have as far as need for quarterback and scheme and all of that. It just just works
better for the Cardinals. If there was going to be a team that take a shot at that at that time
of the draft, it's there if they wanted. Thank you, Ghosts, for that $20 very generous
Dave is here with $199, but only the Cardinals would have a backup QB holding out.
It's astounding. Just when you think it can't get any kind of more embarrassing it,
you wake up the next day and you open up the Twitter app and you see the latest news regarding the team.
They should be embarrassed. Like you're getting you're getting laughed at, you're getting dragged,
like clean this up. Clean up your house. Please God. Jerry with a G and one R 99. This is how the
players, agents and coaches view the Cardinals as a poverty franchise. A backup QB with a one in
11 record, one in extension and more money barf, a more convinced taking time now. It's a good day
for Tyson's it. I told both of this on the phone earlier. Tyson's I think gained a lot of support
because the people who are like, yeah, just roll with Jacobi for a year are so turned off by this
and the fact that they viewed this franchise as being susceptible to this kind of leverage.
Dave, I'm going to say this right now. You can kill me for it. They would be lucky to have Tyson
Simpson at this rate, given how egregiously bad this quarterback room is viewed.
Thank you, Jerry, with a G and one R. Keeping it going. How about this from Knight Piper?
Yeah. Gifting 10 memberships, Paul. Thank you, the Knight Piper. Unbelievable. 10 more
PHNX sports memberships. Make sure you give our guy the Knight Piper. Proper the proper props
for giving out some memberships. That's awesome. And thank you so much. Backster McGinty Holden
is a new member. It's that change is pushing back. He's just shoot from the hip right now. Thank
you, backster. Thank you all to the new Membes. I promise, the Cardinals may let us down, but we
will not let you down with your memberships here at PHNX sports. Roundhouse mouse. Drop it
some banger lines earlier in the chat that I couldn't repeat for 99. I don't know if it's Stockholm
syndrome from being stuck with JV's takes, but I'm all for Simpson. If we get online to protect
sweet prints, it's going or down. Thank you for reading that. I got the entirety. Hey,
tie Simpson. Something that looks pretty good after Jacobi resets out here asking for 20 million
dollars. Just give us tie. That's fine. I don't want to I don't. Cardinals fans saw that today
and they're like, I don't want to do this. Whatever this is, get away from me. Yeah.
Card fans deserve love and Simpson after this off season. Instant juice. They would be back.
Even with today, the black eye of today, they would be back.
Josh, the spot falls it up with, give me, Jeremiah lover, give me dad. We're, I'm dead right now.
We're living through this dead of an office. It'll serve Patrick Henry, uh, famous words
way to go. Yeah, I can't, I think you missed quote in them, but it might be Jeremiah lover,
death. Josh, as Spada, if we scatter boo, I'd be able to handle all the embarrassment.
If we had scatter boo, all the embarrassment that comes with being a cards fan, we have no
scatter boo. We have no hope. Give me love. You know, I love to. This isn't a shot at anybody,
like front office wise or ownership. Let's just say there are people around the team when
there comes to Jeremiah love or scatter boo or whatever that poke the bear with this fan base.
Instead of like embracing fun and what they want and hey, if you get excited about the
cardinals, you may buy a ticket or buy some merch. There are people employed who actively throw
water on what the fans want and then make them feel bad about it. It's like, Boni may disagree.
Bosnian, I tell you that it's stupid for you to want Jeremiah love on the cardinals.
It's unbelievable how they operate. They should, they should look into that. Maybe, maybe don't
patronize your fan base to tell them what they do need when they can't win a game, when they
can't sell a ticket. Maybe what you think you should do, do the opposite of that. Maybe talk to a
fan and see what they ask because it's probably different than what you think.
Angel, I had high hopes for money when he joined the team. But man, WTF is going on,
this team's a joke. We take two steps forward and a hundred steps back. Bad week for money,
but you know what? But with money, maybe this is the kick in the ass that he needs. That's
what I'm hoping for. This is your Rocky montage. Pick yourself up. Get it together. Six days. Put
your, like six days yourself in a room with Michael, Florida, Michael Bidwell and fix this now.
There is a single second given to Jacobi Berset extension during this time. Like,
there's so many things that I would prioritize. It's the draft. Every single, you know,
every single pick and selection, right? And potentially navigating the board going all through
all those scenarios. And then like, then I would put like Paris Johnson Jr.'s extension on there.
I would put Michael Wilson's extension on there. I would put like so many things. I had a
new deal. I would be recarpitting the the weight room. So many, like, it would just be the last
thing I would give the money that you were going to give to Jacobi Berset. And for the love of God,
hire a new training staff, put it toward the renovations and North Phoenix to the new facility,
do everything other than what they Jacobi Berset wants to do with all due respect to Jacobi.
The little bros here, we're talking, talking some cents, 4.99. This franchise is the definition
of Murphy's Law only in AZ. It's sickening. You know, what could go wrong? We'll go wrong.
But finding new things that could potentially go wrong. You know, yeah, because this
doesn't happen to anybody else. But like Murphy's Law would be like, man, it would suck. Like,
we want to go out. We're getting married today. It would suck if there's rain. And then it inevitably
rains. Cardinals is like more of a Murphy's Law would be like, man, it would suck if during
our wedding, a pipe with burst and everybody's sprayed with poop. Yeah.
We had our wedding, but we actually sent out the address to the wrong location where you're by
ourselves. Grayson grad key. Yes. Go ahead.
I DM Bo. I'm building my own mock trash sim that y'all can try out now. Hopefully be ready tomorrow.
Also give me love and tie. Maybe we'll crank it out next week, Grayson. Thank you so much for that.
Thank you for the support. And thank you for becoming a lover of the sims.
If we, if it's legit, could become the official mock draft simulator of PHNX Cardinals or
the podnos. I love this. Indigenous daddy. Selling number seven Jacobi Berset, Jersey,
then we'll talk. You're getting strong arm by a guy that you won't make his Jersey available
on the team shop this year. Say that out loud. Unbelievable. You need to like Jersey and the
Simpson Jersey. It's a great point. That's it. That is so. You know, Michael Bidwell knows that.
Yeah. Michael Bidwell. People take shots and he's not stupid. He hundreds. This is the whole
thing is not good. They got, they he understands that. He's trying to empower money because you
don't want to do this by himself. This is just bad news. Monty, you're just, you're having a
tough time. My man, snap out of it. 199, 111, excuse me, RLW. Good to see you, my guy.
111, once a raise, that's cute. It's insane. It's what we're living in a simulation.
I lost a bunch of clients. Can I have a raise please? Bro, you barely show up for work. Reverto,
199, JV hates everything Monty does, but Ty will save us. I don't have anything Monty does. He
is having an atrocious offseason and he's been a like Roberto. It can't be disputed. He has been a
terrible general manager through three years. If your job is to help build a team that wins games
and you have 15 wins and in year four, you're being strong armed by Jacobi Berset who went one
in 11, things have gone horribly, horribly wrong. What is going right here? You are putting
like you're not. You are putting probably some unfair expectations on a guy that
is a second round quarterback. That's all we have at this point, though. Yeah.
I don't like to be viewed as negative, but like look at the times we're living in your Mr.
Brightside. People say we're fanboys. It's like, yeah, I'll be a fanboy when there's something to
be a fan of. I don't know what this is. Roll it on with the super chats. Who else we got?
Mark. Yeah. Mark. Imagine being a draft pick projected to go to Arizona. Got to be ready to
puke right now. Not to give too much away, but a prominent agent told us at what was at the
Super Bowl. Yeah. He didn't love the idea of their client being drafted here. Yeah.
Wasn't a quarterback, but was just, she didn't love the optics of how the team is being
handled right now. Let's just put it to you that way. Dan Thompson props to the guy yesterday
who said Rams could grab tie. The Rams or Niners could waste the pick just to put the final
nail in her coffin. Lot help. Fire him on this. If money gets beaten out by for tie from the
Rams or the Niners, you fire him. Get out. Do you think that? I mean, the the Rams
Seahawks or Niners even have to like find a way to sabotage the Cardinals? They do not. They saw
the tweet today. They know. They saw the rap sheet tweets. DLAZ. It's like John Shiner's spit out his
coffee laughing so hard. Came out of his nose. It's like Nick Wallace asking for a raise. It's
more like Drew Petsy and asking for a raise. Yeah. Hey, Drew, you're about to be fired. I'd actually
like more money, please. Hey, Jacobi, you could be replaced by a draft pick. Money, please.
Dan Thompson getting to press more Legos content, please.
Suddenly an hour with Ty Simpson build Legos looks pretty good.
Looks pretty good. Why does Ty look so tired? Well, he was up working on a
actual size Millennium Falcon Legos set last night. So be my friend. He couldn't process
pre snap. And he got killed out there. Doss Lee, bro, 38 years of cards die hard. And this
is literally the worst I've ever felt about the franchise. We did a new owner or an expansion
team. Just say it. We are an expansion team right now.
Monty Austin Ford Boe. Does he make it to the end of the year?
I mean, I think it's Ty Simpson. He does. Yeah. What say he doesn't draft Ty Simpson? Does he make it to
the end of the year? I mean, what I probably without any clarity as far as the quarterback future
depends on how that draft is trending, especially at that position. Yeah.
You can't be you can't bottom out either. You got to be like a 6-7 win team. And that's
pretty low standards still. I'm going to say no. Shaefer 499 support. Thank you so much. Drop
a question if you've got one, my friend. Roundhouse mouse 199. Price out of ND can be as good as
love value pick. Oh, yeah. Take them though. We're taking his backup running back.
Never. 34. Never. He's probably going to be gone by the time you're on the clock again.
The third round. There's only one running back I want. Tyler Algier can hold it down. There's
only one generational back in this class. But I respect your opinion. Roundhouse mouse.
Keep Davis $10. If we dismiss preset stats as garbage time, be consistent and say Wilson and
Trace stats were garbage time. We were. I said that. Reset isn't a long-term starter,
but he didn't play defense either. Well, yeah, all the things you're saying are true. I mean,
Traming Brides and Elite player. Let's not act like Trays not Elite. But I think there were
questions about like can Mike do this for four quarters in games? I think you'd be encouraged by
what he did against the Rams at the end of the year. But like I'm not you're 100% correct. But
like that doesn't mean that like just because there was garbage time doesn't mean that hey,
we're just going to cancel all these things out. Like they have a quarterback disaster.
This is a disaster. Whereas like Michael Wilson's the third rounder make it no money. I like him.
Let it play out. Traming Brides Elite. Let it play out. This is aster.
Does Lieber's back. Don't be surprised if we are on the clock and we don't even make a
selection. That's where I'm at. You know, Vikings move, huh? Cardinals are now picking fourth
overall. Monty did say he liked the shorter time between the picks. Yeah. I bet he does.
Short stack goblin 199 JV Monty sucks. Unless we get tied. Then he's good. I my thought process
short stack goblin is like it's the final. It's his final ability to save his job.
I'm rooting for him to save his job. I want to like I don't root for people to get fired.
I struggle with the Jonathan Ganon thing for two months on this show.
But like I said we saw Monty at the combine. I looked right at him.
Bowen. I were standing next to security. He came over. He talked to us. He was a sweetheart.
I said, we are rooting for you. And then he's like, yeah, we got a lot of work to do.
And then he turned around and had the worst free agency I've ever seen.
I'm not going to sit here because unlike other people in this market and I know like I'm not
casting shade. This is just the reality. This is the situation. Unlike other people in this market,
I am not going to let my personal feelings about a person dictate how Bowen. I
discuss this on a daily basis with everybody here. That would be disingenuous to all of you.
There are people in this market that you might as well slap a cardinal logo to their Twitter account
that they work for the team. But they don't they don't have a w2 with them. But they might as well.
Guess what? That's not helping anybody here. We're trying to help the situation while putting
accountability on a team that's 115 games in three years. We can be respectful and do that.
Sorry. Brian G. Hey, man, I love it. Didn't think it was possible to hate a GM more than
kind. Monty thinks he's already he's being sneaky and smart, but comes off as a doofus.
Drafting love in Simpson is the only hope Monty has to redeem himself with the fans.
100% an Albert brewers said. Love and Simpson. Yeah. Albert brewers said today in a tweet or in
a breakdown. We didn't have time to cover it. Basically said like Monty needs a win. Yeah.
But like just what does Monty think? Monty what Monty thinks is a win is not like what other people
think are wins. So Monty thinks it's like I'm holding my my grounding. It's Jacobi percent. That's
a win for me. Like no, man, you put yourself in the spot. Thank you so much for the $20
Brian. Yeah. So that's awesome. How about this Alberto has been a member for seven months.
Monty needs a stick in pick or trade up trading down has not had positive results so far.
Got bad news for Alberto. They are moving down. I wouldn't be surprised if the deal was done
already. Thank you for that though. How about native trader? Yeah. This news further
enforces my season ticks cancellation and not spending another penny. Major changes needed
to bring my family and money back to this clown organization. That's the right kind of mindset.
I hate watching games and fans out being there. Yeah. But when fans are slapped. I mean,
this is this is been slapping the face off season. There's one thing. If like John and Ghana
New Year, let's support them. They're building it the right way. They draft more. If they spent
money in free agency, like, yes, go to games. So I support that. This, this, how do you support
this right now? It's not you can't. Cardinal fans are embarrassed right now. And that's a by
product of the team. And it's sad because it shouldn't happen this way. Jack, he's been a member
for seven months. Got gifted number three pick. The franchise changer and Jeremiah love can still
get tie in a mini trade up 34 and a good enough tackle in the third and fourth. In my opinion,
it's time we start drafting elite players. Love you boys. Love you. And I love that plan.
And I would do that plan right now. Profile pick is on point as well. Johnny and skin tight. Red
Ranger gear. Keeping it rolling. How about me? Jeremiah love. Anthony Brown, one and eleven
deserves to be cut. Not a raise. Let's be real. He's got no future with this team pack his bags.
Austin fart. I like that you read that. Yeah. I mean, it's like, I would cut your
Kobe reset today. If you ask me what I would do, goodbye. Then I would call Jimmy G and I'd be
like Jimmy G. You want money. You're unsigned. And then I get Jimmy G here. And then I have Jimmy
Gardner and Ty Simpson. And I'd say good luck to Kobe. See ya. Jack, JB got to oil up on the stream
if we pick love and tie. Oil up my bod. I don't like I do that. I don't know if I just don't think
that's it's a little harsh in my opinion. Like the guy asked for a pay raise and he's going to skip
voluntary workouts. And you're like, you're out. You can't be here. No, I just I don't. I wouldn't.
Yeah, you're probably right. Can't do that. That's a bad precedent. Like in the other way,
like where you would look like a pushover. If you if you gave into his demands, it would be
also look bad as far as I could be paid for what you guys are going to, you know, have me do
potentially as QB1. How about trade them? I would ship them somewhere. How about that? I'm
499 Terrence tidbits. I'm not a mean guy, but it's just bringing it out of me.
Well, you know, ball, but I'm with JV. I take love at three. He's a big play waiting to happen
in a good wide receiver out of the backfield. High character kid as well. Yeah, I agree. Johnny
doesn't know what he's talking about. That's rude. Terrence, give your compliment. I would quite
I would question Bose ball knowing. But you know, that's that's me. Joel Moore has been a member
for one month. No, bone knows what he's talking about. Jerry with this G profile pic. This
four guy if he ever finds the stream. Jacob holding out is the funniest thing ever. It's
you have to laugh at it because it's so sad. I just I want I hope the Cardinals when they play
the Packers and in the preseason this year. And Jerry just wants to do kind of like a look of
what's being talked about. And he's just his face is just all over our our stream. Jerry,
Ironwell $20 so generous. JV needs therapy for his hypocrisy. Here we go. Historic injuries,
battle line, no running back bad play calls. Last six games tanked and you blame for set over and
over for it. Ty lost four games. Oh, no, no, no run game injuries. Horrible online. Here's the
difference though. But Ty Simpson has projectible traits that can help you win in the NFL and he
makes no money. Jacobi brisette is 33 years old and is an afterthought in terms of being a
starter by every NFL team. Like I I've been consistent with my messaging. Ironwell that I think
the Cardinals will be better, even which Kobe brisette this year. You got no future with him.
You got no future. Ty Simpson. There's a reason he's a French first rounders. People think he can
be a decade long NFL starting quarterback. It's over for Jacobi. Whatever this is is not real life.
They're not living in reality. This is not, hey, guess what? Local media that tried to spin
this narrative. This isn't Kurt Warner. This isn't Carson Palmer. Those guys were winners and champions
before they got here and they needed a second life. Jacobi is what he is. At least Ty Simpson is an
unknown that could develop. We've come to the conclusion of what Jacobi brisette is. It's over.
But thank you for the $20. Yeah. I appreciate that. Rolling along. We've got Kyle Haley.
$20. I was seeing a lot today that the chiefs jumped from nine to three, but would it include 29?
Let's go. That's all the fans are right. Yeah.
Now France is tie package. That's bad. Don't for people in Jeremiah love. Jeremiah loves not making it tonight.
Could they do a thing where they take a spot? That's like a Spencer vano type place. So
Cardinals pick is worth 22 hundred points. And then chiefs ninth pick is 1350 and 29 is worth 640.
Interesting.
Cam, you're probably probably need a sweetener. Right. You probably get a third. You probably get a
third rather. Cam $10. Unless Monty shocks us all. Looks like another year of waiting to get
Sunday tickets. So I can actually watch card games here in Utah. Stuck with the Broncos here at
local stations. Ah. No, no, we fired. No, so we got Shane. No one has broken up about this
Jacobi thing is that I can't not today. I reached $9.99. Good to see you, my guy. Why also
mad at Jacobi calling him to get booted? Then what? We start menchute. Yeah. We start a Ricky
quarterback. Yeah. Kurt believes Jacobi is a starter in this league. I believe him.
Kurt, I think Kurt thinks Jacobi percent can start not in bear issue. Yeah. He doesn't
think he's a winning quarterback. Right. I don't think Kurt would have ever outright just say
this guy can't play. That's not ever going to come from his analysis. That's what is what
probably Kurt is a better person than you and I will ever be. I'm a bad man. He does it straight
through X's and O's and breaking down the film. But I don't think you would ever definitively say
like Kobe percent is not a starting quarterback in this league, but like just just look at his
career. Look at his career and what it points to what he is in this league. And I would not say that
we're not. I thought we were pretty decent in how we went about Jacobi percent on this show.
We were, but they've taken it too far. They've made us become what they've turned into me
into a monster. I feel like I'm monster right now. You are.
You are.
199. If nobody wants tie, then why trade up? Fifth, your option. Plus the temptation of the Jets at 33.
The Jets could sleep on it and say, you know what? We have so many picks. Let's just take him.
If the Cardinals want Ty Simpson, they will trade up into the first round. Ty Simpson,
that the recording of this podcast is minus 170 to go in the first round. He's going into the
first round. Vegas knows. Keeping it going here. How about this from Big Red Sea?
Became a member today. Welcome, Big Red Sea. Love that.
Big Red. How about this, our friend unbelievable football lord 2026 Jesus, 199.
The house shall not place photos of Jacobi on walls.
He's got his damn picture up in the in the media room. And they take that down. Time to take that
down. Is he going to use that? He'll be like, oh, yeah, I'm not. You're starting quarterback.
Let's use this as exhibit a ridiculous burnt marble has been a member of what is this?
Yeah, maybe not. Okay, not. Let me see. It was this.
Okay, well, yeah, can't read that one. No, DC is a new member. Thank you so much, DC. Yeah,
you get me paraphrase with burnt marble was saying. No, I can't. I can't read any of it.
We got to be on our toes here. Thank you, DC. We appreciate you, my guy, or gal,
Ranger, $5. So, Monty, what can I do to make JV and bow sad boys? Oh, I know, give Jacobi 20
million draft frees. That would be you'd have to wheel me out of hella. You'd have to find me on
the ground, wheel me out and get me home to my family. I'd have to reevaluate my life choices.
I'd be time to take up like a hot like knitting or something.
I'm crocheting now. I'm no longer covering the cardinals. I bought a crocheting kid off Amazon.
Cuff. Good show, guys. Appreciate your candor and opinion. Thank you, Cuff. Good to see you,
my brother. Thank you for that very generous $10. Aiki Breckier, $199. JV, a biblical level of
blind faith in Thai was I'm not a religious man, but I do pray to the football gods every day,
and I'm praying for a new quarterback. So yeah, you're correct.
It's pretty crazy how much he is. I mean, especially with some of the stuff in comments you made
about Thai Simpson during the college football season and how you've just completely gone on
into Thai Simpson's corner. I'm almost at the point, though, Roberto, with how everything is
gone, and I mean this with full transparency, the 500 people watching, I'm not sure I expect
them to draft them now because of how poorly everything's gone. Everything that I want,
nothing, none of it happens. None of it.
Got a few more super chats here. Tvato, Jacobi, do you want to pick your money, my guy?
That's right. Go be seeing that. That good money. Let's go keep Davis.
Cards eating a giant snickers today. Wow, the Snickers love his flow, and
somebody said they were going to help you and I on set with Snickers during the draft party.
That would be aggressive. All you have Snickers on air if they draft Thai Simpson.
Trinnell five dollars. If draft Thai, and he is asked, does Monty keep his job or take a swing?
Monty keeps his job if they draft Thai Simpson, no matter what, no matter what.
And if he does like the Jackson Dart thing, it would be beneficial for Monty.
Let's get into Jacob. Good to see you, my friend Jacob, 499. Monty, get ready to lose your job
when you trade down for the last time. Like Monty, what is your legacy?
That's what I would ask him if I had a chance to do it. What do you want your legacy to be?
Because right now, you've been employed for over 36 months, and you are being strong armed by Jacobi
Berset. Is that how you thought this was going to go? Is that how you thought your 10-year-old
you'll never get another GM job. What do you want your legacy to be? That's why I'm so
convinced that this Thai Simpson thing at least needs to happen. You're not making it to the
quarterbacks next year. Can we agree on that? He's not making it to those guys. Right.
No chance. A couple more super chats here before we get out of here.
What? Last one. Okay, P2K, P2K, P2K. Any stock in number three to the Cowboys for their first
rounders? Depending on who you talk to, what Shlubby Hawaiian shirt-wearing guy on Twitter says,
I'm sure it's in play. It just depends on his David Bailey available, how desperate his Jerry
Jones on the clock. Does he want to make headway? Here's what all emphasize. For teams outside of
the Cardinals because the Cardinals clearly have another need with a French quarterback.
It's not a great year to have two first rounders. That's why the Rams traded one of them.
And that's why they're stocked that the Chiefs and the Cowboys could trade up.
There's only really about 16 first round picks. The guys who are going to go in the back half
of the first round are very similar to the players that are going to go early on day two.
Some people chime in on what they think Monty's legacy is one is a scared man and the other is
cosplaying as Mr. Clean. His legacy is he got the job because the Bears Assistant GM turned it down.
We thought he was good and they've all they've done is lost. We just lost every time we watch
him play. They're just getting their brains beat in. That's the legacy right now.
Trenel, can we trade our first and Monty for Howie Rose? Oh my god, I love that.
Howie is the opposite of Monty. It's just like juice constantly. Infinite juice.
