Broncos Considering Cameron for Late-Round Gem

On March 28th, the Denver Broncos are still hunting for wide receivers even after trading

for Jalen Waddle.

They just held a virtual pre-draft meeting with Baylor's Josh Cameron, chatting with

offensive coordinator Davis Webb over Zoom last week.

Cameron led his team with 69 catches, 872 yards, and 9 touchdowns in 12 games last season.

Cameron stands nearly 6 foot 2 and weighs 220 pounds, a smooth athlete who converted from

running back.

He's got elite ball skills, especially on back shoulder throws, and doubled up with

121 catches, 1,600, 26 yards, and 19 touchdowns over his final two college years.

Plus, he averaged 14 yards per punt return.

Fans and analysts see him as a late round gym, maybe fifth round, with captain experience

He's a physical extraciever type, great in the red zone, but needs to sharpen his routes.
