On March 31st, the Denver Broncos just snagged wide receiver Jalen Waddle from the Miami
Dolphins, beefing up their already stacked receiver group 2.
Seven deep.
Now folks are buzzing about trading one away to grab more draft picks heading into the NFL
draft.
Earlier this week at the league meetings in Phoenix, General Manager George Patton shut that
top down quick.
He said they love every piece in the room, from Courtland Sudden and Jalen Waddle, to
Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin, Lil Jordan Humphrey, and Michael Bandy.
Patton made it clear there's seven or eight players strong and all have contributed so
why break it up now after building its solid.
Last season's playoffs hammered them with injuries that wide out, so holding onto this
death makes total sense.
No signs they're shopping anyone despite the trade rumors.
With a draft around the corner, Patton's words lock in a stable receiver crew, setting
Denver up to roll without forced moves.
