Broncos Lock Up Free Agents, Trade for Waddle

On March 23rd, the Denver Broncos locked up nearly all their own free agents during the legal tampering window.

They then pulled off a huge trade for Star Y receiver Jalen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins and added former Cincinnati Bangle safety Tyson, Anderson for depth and special team's help.

Running back depth rounds out the priorities, with the front office choosing to run it back at key spots for now.

General manager George Patton has a track record of hitting on 2nd round gyms like Nick Bonito and Marvin Mims Jr., giving Denver flexibility.

Without pressure for instant starters, this year's linebacker class looks deep and prospects tied to new defensive backs coach Doug Belk could fit at safety on day 3.
