Broncos Trade for Waddle, Dolphins Gain Draft Picks

According to a league source, the Broncos will send their 30th overall pick, a third round pick, and a fourth round pick from the 20. 26 NFL Draft. In return, they get Waddle plus a fourth round pick from the Dolphins. Waddle is 27 years old, and was the sixth overall pick in the 2021 draft. He signed a three year extension worth $84 million, $750,000 last year, and is under contract through 20. 28. Last season, he had 64 catches for 910 yards and six touchdowns. This adds firepower to the Broncos' receiving core, where he'll team up with Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.
