Browns Eye Zion Young for Pass Rush Depth

Ranked around the 37th best player overall, he could be sitting there at their 39th pick on day 2. While the team desperately needs a top-wire receiver and left tackle, adding past rush step behind Miles Garrett makes total sense. They already signed AJ Epinisa to help out, but General Manager Andrew Berry loves snagging defensive talents in the draft. Garrett is the best in the game, yet the drop-off after Alex Wright and Isaiah McGuire is steep. Young at 6 foot 5 and 262 pounds brings the size and skills to build on that elite front. Fans and scouts lit up after Young showing at the NFL scouting combine. His college season popped with 42 tackles, 16 for loss, 6.5 sex, two passes knocked down and two forced fumbles. That earned him first team all SEC honors, proving he can dominate in big games.

Pair that with his quick feet against speedy tight ends and he's a perfect fit to rotate in early. Browns don't have the force of past rusher this high since often screams louder, but best player available is smart here.
