The Cleveland Browns keep getting tied to veteran quarterbacks on the market.

The latest name floating around is Kurt Cousins, who just became a free agent after the Atlanta

Falcons released him this week.

Cousins stepped in last season, when Michael Penning's Jr. tore his ACL.

He completed about 62% of his passes for 1,721 yards, 10 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Browns fans might not get too excited about this link, since Cousins is passed his prime.

Still, his experience could help in a quarterback room with the Sean Watson and the young Shadour

Sanders.

Adding Cousins might bring some leadership, even if he ends up as a backup or mentor.

It would be an interesting mix for Cleveland as they sort out their starter plans.
