Browns' Tight End Revamp: Roush & Fannin

On March 26, the Cleveland Browns are revamping their Titan group after letting David in Joku hit free agency.

This marks their biggest change at the position in almost 10 years.

They've added veterans for stability, but eyes are on the NFL draft for a long-term answer,

with Stanford's Sam Roush emerging as a top candidate.

Under new offensive coordinator Todd Monkin, the Browns want Titans who can block and stretch the field vertically.

Monkin often deploys multiple Titans to create mismatches, much like his time in Baltimore,

where they ran two Titans sets on about 36 percent of snaps.

Analysts are buzzing about Roush's steady skills and elite athleticism from the combine.

He's versatile enough to line up in line or win deep routes, making him a smart match for

Monkin's scheme that demands more downfield threats. Right now, Harold Fanon Jr. leaves the

depth chart after a strong rookie year. The team signed Jack Stoll to a one-year deal for

blocking help and brought back Blake Whiteheart, who played all 17 games last season.

Pairing Roush with Fanon could give Cleveland one of the AFC North's most flexible Titan rooms,

keeping defenses off-balance in their favorite. Personnel Packages
