The Tefebba Buccaneer strengthened their defensive line by signing edge rusher al-Qwadi Muhammad from the Detroit Lions to a one-year deal worth. Up to $6 million. Last season, Muhammad posted 11 sacks in 53 quarterback pressures, all from a backup role. He is reuniting with teammate Alex Anzalone and Tampa Bay, marking the third team for the pair after the New Orleans Saints drafted them together in 2017 and two years with the Lions. Muhammad credits a Lions coach with ties to the Buccaneers, including a Super Bowl win there in 2021, for his development.
