What an insane day for L.A. Hoops in the Association!

 

First, the Buss Family reportedly agreed to sell their remaining shares of the Lakers and exit team ownership altogether... but Jeanie Buss, who clearly wants to remain as Team Governor, has disputed this, and her lawyer claims any sale isn't possible without her approval.

 

From there, you've got ESPN reporting that the league has decided there's no evidence of Steve Ballmer funneling money to Kawhi Leonard as part of a cap circumvention scheme, and is now moving towards whether or not the Clippers improperly introduced Leonard to team sponsors, then failed to monitor the outcomes, which essentially allows for potential cap circumvention. The league put out a statement refuting this.
