All right.
Now on today's shelf, dude, Fernando Mendoza is making
a monumental mistake and ruining the NFL.
Really?
Really?
We're gonna get to that.
We be rocking out.
We have lots to get to.
I wonder if you're one of those lame.
If we're on Soto Yankees fans, we're gonna get to that.
And just not knowing things.
There's some NBA player that I feel like
should know something he doesn't.
We'll talk a little of everything today.
Are you talking about Magic's Desmond Bane?
I am, dude.
Well, I hope you had a Michigan Sword of Night,
Michigan over UConn.
Congrats to them.
Your men's national champions.
Hey, it was a much more exciting game than I anticipated.
I was the blue dude.
Oh, yeah.
The one shining moment.
I didn't get emotional though.
I didn't have to be honest.
Yeah, you all know emotions.
I watched the highlights.
So I was like, ah, maybe it's me.
Cause I know rich cries every time he hears that song.
Rich had allergies.
Rich was blubbering.
He ugly cried.
I was not blubbering.
I heard you ugly cried
when one shining moment played last night.
Dude, I'm sorry, you're heartless.
It's not that.
Dude, on Artemis too.
Yeah, the people on outer space.
They dedicated something on the moon
to one of the astronauts dead wives.
The creator.
Carol.
Yes, our video guy spot.
And I were like, that's a beautiful sentiment.
And Kavino looked at us and he goes,
I must be dead inside.
That did nothing for me.
I mean, I wasn't ugly crying.
That's all I thought it was a nice gesture.
But hey, shout out to the astronauts.
Shout out to Stanish again.
I thought you said you're supposed to time
one little tear when Luther hits the
I try.
I'm shining moment.
I try.
I, you know, and I enjoyed it.
It was a great game.
Congrats again.
69, 63 Michigan.
And congrats to Yukon on a great season.
Yeah.
Did you stick around to watch A.D.'s prank show?
You know, I did not.
You got it.
It was called foul play.
What's it called, Danny G?
But the whole tag line is,
instead of you got punked,
it's you got played.
You got played.
And Ron was involved in the dream on green.
I taped it on my VCR.
Did you?
Yeah, you set the timer on your...
It was on right after America's funny
some videos and America's funniest people with Dave Kulje.
I had seen that show before.
He has done episodes of that show before,
but it was the big premiere
after the national championship last night.
And it was pretty good.
It was entertaining.
Hey, I thought it was good.
What do you think, uh,
Dan Byer?
Welcome back, buddy.
How are you?
Thank you, guys.
You know, I am a big lover of one shining moment.
Big lover of Luther Vandross.
Whoever edited that thing last night,
should be fired.
It was.
It was a mix-mash of garbage.
The one shining moment
is supposed to tell the story of the tournament.
Dude, thank you, because I kind of didn't feel that
when I watched a great series.
And all it was...
And I'll use Iowa Sam for this.
I'll bring him in.
I hope that he has my back for once when I say this.
Iowa was a big part of this tournament.
Like, they made it to the Elite Eight.
Their story.
They were a nine-seed.
I think they got one clip
in one shining moment last night.
Yes, yes.
Tennessee made it to the Elite Eight.
There were milliseconds of flashes of orange.
Yet what they tried to do is show the band,
the fans.
Look at this player falling out of bounds.
You get that in every game.
Like, you don't need to...
It was...
I don't want to say I hated it.
I love one shining moment because it's once a year.
But the highlight package that they put with it
did not hit with me last night.
Bro, I'm so with you.
I'm so glad I wasn't alone
because usually you do feel that
because the analogy I made yesterday, Dan,
while you were floating in your pool and enjoying your day off.
I told you, I was at Legoland.
While you were in Cal's Bad.
On the Lego rides,
I said that I could watch a wedding montage
of a couple.
I don't even know.
But if it's put to music,
I'm like, oh, it's beautiful.
Because it does tug the heartstrings.
When I watched that yesterday,
it felt like...
It felt heartless a little bit and it moves on the edit.
It lacked it.
I mean, while Yankee fans are saying
F1 Soto, Dan Byer saying,
F, the CBS editing team.
It goes to Shayne Val important.
It goes to show you how good an edit is,
how important an edit is.
When you look back and there were great moments.
Braylon Mullins, three obviously with Yukon,
the Iowa, you know, three that we talk about.
How about the Iowa breakaway dunk,
when Nebraska only had four guys on the court?
Didn't see it.
Pretty big portion of the tournament,
the Otaga OA3 from Kentucky.
Well, just two seconds prior to that,
Santa Clara hit their own shot
that we thought was going to be a winner.
And instead, it's, let's show the trumpet player,
let's show the fan with the face paint going crazy.
And no, that doesn't tell the story of the tournament.
They've gotten farther away from it
because I think that casuals really
are starting to take to one shining moment.
And so they're trying to appeal to them.
Instead of the people who like basketball
and like the sport,
that's who it should be an ode to.
I'm sorry I went off on a rant here, guys.
That's my first one talking about it last night.
I watched it and I just, I, I felt nothing.
I actually, I'm really appreciated underwhelmed.
Same here, I'm telling you, like I felt,
we did a Patreon earlier this today.
Yeah.
And I said, I felt nothing.
I found nothing watching that.
But and I will say this and I say this respectfully
and this isn't to grind your goat.
That's an expression I made up, Dan.
I like it.
I had a nation of grind your gears and got your goat.
Yeah, I'm not trying to grind your goat
or upset anybody by saying this,
but as the years go on and Luther's
a national treasure and the song is fantastic,
it does feel like the song needs an update, though.
From when you look at today's perspective of how young
these kids are and that song's just getting older,
it feels like I know it's tradition,
but it feels like such an old song.
It's gotta stay.
Come on, it's like I agree through it.
There's nothing wrong with the song last night.
You don't watch it again.
Yeah, and I'm sorry guys.
It's not the song.
I'm just saying it feels old.
You may not want me to,
you'll just tell me to shut up whenever you want.
They also had these parts of I and Eagle
that first of all sounded like they were dubbed in a studio
because you had one announcer and I blanking on his name
starting like, let's get a going in March.
And then they have a dub of I and Eagle.
This is March.
And then at the end of it,
they have other like parts of I and Eagle talking
that don't even sound like they were from a game.
They sound like they were just trying to fit it into the month.
Yes, to try to make it for the fans to cry or to do whatever.
And it completely missed the mark.
There I say it sounds like almost a person that put it together.
And I hate coming down on them.
But it almost seems like they they weren't really locked
into the tournament and they were just doing a cool school project.
Rich, maybe it was the woman they showed that was retiring
after 47 years.
You see that?
And they were like, this is her last tournament.
And that's what I thought.
Maybe she put this together.
Well, we hope you guys enjoyed it.
We hope you enjoyed the game.
Congrats again to Michigan.
And one shining moment.
They still got to do it.
We still got to see it.
The net was cut down.
The edit seemed heartless.
The ball is tipped.
The ball was tipped.
And there was Michigan winning 69 63.
So we're Kavino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio.
Would have fired up.
I love it.
I fired up Dan Byer.
Danny G's super producing on the phones at 877 99 on Fox.
I was Sam is back.
Spoddies in studio working the videos at Kavino and Rich
episode of the whole team.
Hey, the guy behind you with the robotic leg.
Don't even recognize.
I know.
Danny G know how you know Kavino is, you know, lacking heart.
Like he's the the Grinch.
Three things that I guarantee this guy would not get upset about.
But the astronaut dedicating the crater to the deceased wife.
March badness.
Something I didn't think it was nice, but I'm not blubbering about it.
And I feel like the ultimate test.
And he won't watch.
If this dude could watch shrinking on Apple TV and not get a little like,
why don't you watch Monarch, bro?
That's the show Monarch that got Zilla show on Apple TV.
That's the show.
Oh, you're so man.
Yeah, watch that tonight.
Yeah, watch that.
That's a cool show.
Godzilla and monsters.
King Kong and all these crazy monsters on the show.
It's great.
Be 12.
Kurt Russell and his love muscle.
It's great.
In the main girl, she's hot.
Check it out.
It's not for 12 year olds.
It's a great show.
I don't hear you ever talking about that.
So anyway,
we got to talk about before we play our Tuesday edition of last one standing.
I forgot.
Before we talk about Fernando Mendoza,
because Fernando Mendoza is in the news.
Before we give away prizes,
we got to talk about this old guy.
I love old guys.
I love who doesn't love old guys.
I think that's why me and my co-runs this place get along so well.
Who?
My co-runs this place.
Isn't it true that Mike won you over from day one when he gave you a butterscotch?
He gave me a worth or something.
A worth or something.
He's today when he brought all the Starbucks in.
Yeah.
You're young man.
Yeah.
And he's like, I also got some black check gum for you.
I was like, thanks man.
We can be friends forever.
So it's the type of guy probably cares around the licorice.
Yeah, he's got black licorice in his back pocket.
So there's this old guy.
And he's got an old guy named too, right?
Errol, I know, is Errol Spence the fighter and this guy and this guy.
Errol Siegel.
Siegel is a Dodgers fan.
A Los Angeles guy.
81 years old.
I do not have any.
I feel like 80 year olds don't talk about that.
90 year olds maybe talk.
Hey, he's getting there.
80.
You know what?
I've seen video footage of Errol Siegel moving around pretty good.
The guy's still going to the ballpark.
He got to love that, right?
That's also very cool.
And from the footage I've seen, he's like
stolen there by himself.
Man, I applaud that.
The guy's getting out in about 80 years old.
Still loving the Dodgers.
Those are life goals right there.
But here's the story.
And I mean no disrespect.
We say this respectfully.
The Dodgers got to make this right.
Because he's an old guy who's been a seasoned ticket holder for over 50 years now, right?
Errol Siegel.
And now they're telling him that he can't print out his tickets because he needs to do
everything digital and he has an old flip phone.
Like an old guy flip phone like like my uncle Joe.
You probably called customer service and they're like,
yeah, like just download your seasoned tickets on your on your iPhone.
Just goodbye now.
Now I'm a little old.
As you probably probably you know, got some young girl on the phone.
This upsets me on so many different levels because
you know, technology has given also taken away so much from our lives.
And I get it having everything on your phone makes things easier.
But it's also a little complicated.
It's very complicated for an 80 year old.
And I don't mean to offend any older people listening.
But even my parents is like, sometimes they can't figure out what we think are the simple things
they're struggling with.
And my parents are in their 70s and they're with it and they're cool.
But this guy's 80.
And I also take a lot of pride in collecting the ticket stubs of the games I go to.
I like having that tangible ticket stuff.
That's an old thing now.
Yeah, it's one of the only but it's one of the only things I collect like from a concert
from a ball game.
That are like a lanyard.
If I happen to have a work pass or a lanyard or a laminate,
I collect those and keep those too.
So, you know, here's a guy that's dedicated 50 years of being a seasoned ticket holder.
50 years of going to all the games.
50 years of support and and financial support.
50 years of probably collecting his ticket stubs and now they're telling him,
we can't print them out for you.
But here's the side part of the doozy.
But here's the deal.
I mean, it's like when you talk about that generation or anyone for that matter.
What does he do?
If he takes a flight, does he figure out how to print out his boarding pass
or does he put it in his wallet on his phone?
I don't know how he does it because he's like,
oh my god, is this flip phone right here?
You could walk up to the counter there rich and they'll print out your boarding.
What is he?
Well, here's the other side of the story.
What does that old phone you said that like old people have the jitterbug or something?
Oh, it's called the cricket.
Yeah, the jitterbug.
Is that the jitterbug?
Yeah, yeah, my parents are with the big giant numbers.
The jitterbug.
My parents have that.
Your parents don't have like an iPhone?
No, they don't have an iPhone.
For real?
They don't have a jitterbug anymore, but they don't have an iPhone.
I think they have like, it's like an old guy Android or something.
I don't know.
An old guy Android.
Yeah.
I guess that works.
I mean, everything's bigger.
The display's bigger.
He sent a little judge.
He's like, everybody's supposed to have an iPhone.
I mean, who does that have an iPhone?
50% of the population.
That's why Android's are right up there.
You mean people that connect with iPhone?
People that have ruined the group chat?
I mean, I think you get carried away with that.
But this guy has a flip phone.
That's part of the story.
Okay, flip phone, which means he can't get his tickets
in his vouchers or anything there on the flip phone.
Was it a Nokia or a Startec?
But this is part of the story.
So they go, sorry, old man Clemens.
I'm sorry, Errol.
What's your name?
Errol Stegel.
What's your name, Ebenezer?
Who's like my name, Errol?
Sorry, Errol Stegel.
We can't print out the tickets.
You're going to have to figure it out.
Bye.
Wait, what?
So he goes to the ticket booth.
He's coming out of the booth.
No, he buys.
He's like, where do you mean he can't print out tickets?
This is hogwash.
He goes up to a ticket booth and like without any affiliation
of being a ticket holder or anything,
he buys tickets and they hand them tickets.
He's like, uh-huh.
So you can print out the tickets.
You son of a bitch.
So they can't print.
It's the one day ticket they could print.
Yes.
But they won't print his season tickets.
So wait a minute.
You can't print them out.
So he went and bought his...
Gotcha.
Yeah.
So if they have the ability to print out the tickets,
then the story becomes,
then why don't you just let this 80-year-old guy
have his tickets and print them out for him?
Maybe there's a deal that way he can make where every day,
even if it's every game,
he just has to go up to the ticket window and be like,
my name's Errol Stegel.
I'm on a list.
Can you print out my daily ticket?
Yeah.
It's like you got to adjust or you become a dinosaur.
You become obsolete.
He didn't make the adjustments.
So I get it.
That's on him.
And part of our talk show on our Patreon is trying to keep
people up on things and trying to stay fresh.
That's part of the fun of it.
Because you don't want to become obsolete.
You don't want to get left behind.
And it seems like somewhere along the line,
this guy got left behind with that flip phone.
And I get it.
It's a tough adjustment.
It's not for everybody.
I still have family members that use that old school flip phone
with the leather case on top of it.
Oh boy.
Yeah.
I was always a ticket stub keeper, guys.
And I never understood like on the back,
there would be deals like take this ticket.
Probably more baseball or basketball.
Yeah, get by a six inch subway sub and get a three six inch.
Why would I do that for a sandwich?
Like I could be holding a piece of major league baseball history
in my hand.
When they still do this though, D.B.
They still do it for the postseason.
Because I've got, I mean, as of,
I mean, it's not all the time though.
It's been it's been it's been in the postseason.
But when I've bought and seized it like postseason ticket packages,
they do give you like nice postseason tickets.
But a regular like Tuesday game and Dodger stadium.
That's your proof that you were there.
Like the environment said there could be some value,
part of history.
What a little screenshot on your phone.
That's not the same.
Jason Stewart and I went to Buffalo last September.
I wanted the ticket stub from the game.
But we got digital tickets.
So I found a company that makes like,
it's not obviously it's not a real ticket.
But it puts your seat and your row and everything
like in it like with the details.
So you actually did like it went.
So I ordered it because it was the last,
you know, the last year of that high mark stadium.
And so I wanted like a physical like thing to show that.
And so I ordered it and you could enter your section and row and seat.
That's really cool.
You know, came like three or four weeks later.
You know, there is things we used to hold in our possession.
People used to love the tangible touch of something.
Right? Like I think it's weird that
think of for how many years, think back for a minute, guys.
Go back in time when we were all younger bachelors in your apartment.
Do you remember displaying your DVDs and your CDs?
Of course.
I remember having like, I remember having like cool,
wavy DVD holders and a wall of rich display.
His air bud collection.
You had a display scar face.
That was the rule.
Here's Mac and me.
Yeah.
He rich had all the corny movies.
No, but you would display your DVDs and alphabetical order.
Your CDs.
I remember when I first got to know you took pride in that.
Same way with your tickets stuff.
I remember you moved a few times.
And I remember spot a video guy.
Him and I had to help you carry no joke.
A wall of CDs.
Like to the point where I was like,
it was it was brutal.
I still have one rack.
I kept about maybe five, six hundred of my original.
A lot of more autographed too.
See, he kept only five hundred.
But this whole set of things means something to some people.
And the ticket stuff, I think, is something of high value,
especially for a lifelong fan like this.
One of the things I've always wanted to do.
I saw someone else in our industry do this is he took all of his favorite
ticket stubs and then had them print it out and put them in a frame.
So he had them blown up and printed out all the shows and concerts and ball games
that he went to on a frame in his backdrop of his office.
I always thought that was the coolest thing.
I saw the guy telling this old guy he can't have that.
Meanwhile, you have the ability to print the tickets.
That's that's the problem here.
I saw a cool similar thing where not in a frame.
Have you guys seen someone put all their cool sports and concert ticket stubs
and they're like poor, clear, liquid on it.
It's almost like a coffee table top.
Yeah, but they ruined the tickets with some,
I mean, who cares if it's a, if it's cool,
yeah, but you're ruined the ticket.
It's like Han Solo and Carbonite.
What are you going to do with the tickets?
Sealed in there.
Like, you know,
like that epoxy all over it.
It goes your free subway sandwich.
Yeah, you kept it all those years.
I don't want to preserve it.
What's ruining it?
If it's, I mean, you kept it for reasons.
It's mummified for that to touch it.
Or is it cool to see it?
But now you can't take it out.
You can't take it out of the
You can't ever have it back.
So what I'm saying is, do you rather have your,
all right, if it's a legendary world series ticket,
you put epoxy all over it for a coffee table.
It's ruined.
So if you're like, oh, so I saw the food fighters.
Oh, this is Yankees 1996.
What's cooler?
Having it under a epoxy on a coffee table
or in a shoe box somewhere,
you could make a copy of it or something.
Like, like I just described, you ruined the ticket.
The whole point of having that ticket is it means something.
You just ruined the value out of it.
So I'm not a fan, it looks cool,
but I'm not a fan of that.
But how do they make this right?
What do you think they should do?
Should his family members feel ashamed too
for not helping the old guy out?
I mean, maybe there's more to the story.
How do you not know a guy with a,
how do you not know someone with an iPhone?
And whoever he's going with,
it does have one ticket?
What about the person he's going with?
So he's 81 years old.
Errol Siegel.
You got to accommodate this old guy.
I think it's, it could be a story,
like a great PR story.
Not that the Dodgers need any more great PR.
They're slaying it in every way possible.
But I think this could be a really feel good story.
Like, Errol, we cherish your fandom
and we're glad you're part of the Dodgers family.
And here you go.
And they just print out all the tickets for him
and make it right.
Hey, love you guys.
I know what I have.
Shohei Otani delivered.
It could be a great story.
There's a difference, though,
with sports tickets to Kavino talking about concert tickets.
Because I think concert tickets are just ticket master,
you know, right?
You see like Stone Table pilots,
Madison Square Garden and every ticket is whatever.
But sports tickets and those season tickets have character.
They have, there's different images.
I always liked it when the opposing team was on the ticket,
not like the home team with like a different player
because it was just so unique.
I remember, I remember having Packers tickets.
And if they would play the Bears,
the Bears helmet would be on that, on that ticket.
And I always thought that that was, that was unique.
So when it comes to like sports tickets,
yeah, like they're special.
They're unique.
They're very special.
And what really grinds the goat, as I said before,
is being told that you can't,
meanwhile, you know they can, right?
Anytime you hear that customer service,
sorry, sir, we can't.
And you're like, I know you can.
You're just choosing not to.
That's the most aggravating part of it.
It's not that they can't print out the tickets.
They absolutely can.
You can absolutely.
It's just so much easier for whoever's on the flip side
of this conversation to be like,
sorry, sir, we can't.
And that's no knock on the Dodgers,
no knock on anybody.
It's so easy to say no sometimes.
This is a beautiful,
solvable problem.
And you know that I think combined,
we know that if they print it out the tickets
in a beautiful way and had Freddie Freeman or show here,
someone hand delivered to this 81 year old fan
who's had season tickets for 50 years
through the good times and bad and said,
you know what,
Errol,
sorry for the confusion.
50 years, man,
that's commitment and that would be the lead.
That would be like the fluff story on every local news.
It would be on sports center.
It would be on Fox Sports.
It would be on every radio and podcasts would talk about it.
The Dodgers have an opportunity to really do a very simple
turn dilemmas into the lemonade.
Right thing here.
There's you make a sign that says like eight runs,
12 hits, just one Errol.
On Errol.
Dude, that's actually a great idea.
I love it.
I think that he would feel so special.
The guy's 81.
And think how many crappy seasons he sat through
to finally enjoy these moments, right?
They need to gift him a Dodgers calculator, too,
because in the interview, he says,
five generations.
That's five generations for 50 years of that generation.
So, um, you know what, five decades of players maybe,
but you know what?
We live in a world where everything is on your phone now,
just a couple thoughts.
You go to an arena now.
We've been to where the Clippers play.
Into it, Dom.
Into it, Dom is now not only is it on your phone,
you have to upload a picture of your face.
And when you walk in, it's like, hello, Rich.
Hello, Kavino.
Hello, Mr. Kavino.
You're like, oh, my God.
Like, it's, it's like next level.
It's like AI when you go to Disneyland.
This is, this is wild, too, because my mother-in-law
is visiting and she was like,
I want to take the kids to Disney,
take them out of school with them.
I'm like, you know what, grandma?
Go right ahead.
And she was trying to, dude,
that's got to be impossible for old people.
I was trying, I want the Disney world.
That was so lost trying to figure out all this stuff.
She was trying to navigate the ticket sales
and all the little, you know, fast lane passes.
And I'm like, you know, Cindy,
you got to download the app and do everything on your phone.
She's like, well, can't I just buy the tickets?
And I'm like, that is just not how it works.
And you've got to make reservations.
If you go to Disney, world or land,
you need to reserve your spot at the park.
And then I even told her, I said,
if you want to buy a churro,
you could wait in the line
or you could order it on the app.
Everything is linked up on you.
You could see the wait times.
If you want to do your fast pass or anything,
you can't avoid these technological advances.
You're either making the adjustments
or you get left behind.
And unfortunately, that's what happened.
You know, Errol has to take some accountability, too.
Yeah, he didn't make those moves,
but they could also make this right.
Oh, so who's the official provider of the Dodgers?
I'm not even joking.
It's like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Sprint, even a thing.
T-Mobile, whoever it is,
what a cool opportunity for them to also say,
you know what, Errol?
How we're going to upgrade your phone?
And on your phone,
we have loaded your Dodger season tickets.
You might not even want that, though.
Yeah, but I'm saying like, there's a,
but that's a great idea.
There's like so many opportunities here
where you, where you, you're almost feel like
you're a PR person.
We're like, we could solve this.
Oh, yeah.
Search says it's T-Mobile.
T-Mobile should be like, hey, T-Mobile,
T-Mobile Tuesday, don't do that.
You're a T-Mobile guy.
I'm an AT&T guy.
Why don't they say,
or Spectrum also, because that's a,
that's a partner of the Dodgers.
Well, that's just a great opportunity.
This is above my pay grade.
Someone got to do this,
but it's, I think it's so solvable,
but when I saw this story,
you got to feel a little sorry for the old guy
that's like, I have a phone for God's shakes.
What do we do?
He's just wants to go to see his Dodgers.
This guy's been there,
you know, he's seen the, from the,
what, if he's, he's in tickets at the 50s,
through the Steve Garvey days,
he was there for Nets for Nango Mania.
He's been there through Kurt Gibson and Matt Kemp
and every, he saw both Mike Marshalls.
So we're talking about a guy that's been there forever.
I accommodate the guy, the end.
The end, but that's the story, your thoughts.
And don't let it happen to you.
Don't let it happen.
You know, we get stuck in our ways
and we hate change.
Don't let this happen to you
because it's only getting a crazier as time goes on.
All right, so we got prizes to give away.
We got games to play.
We got to talk about Fernando Mendoza and more.
We got more Covino and Rich on Fox Sports radio.
All right, well, some people have a Starbucks order
depending on their mood.
Morning, you get a coffee.
I'm a big vanilla sweet cream cold brew type of guy.
Weekends, maybe something iced or fun.
We'll get this.
We have him in the studio right now.
Afternoons have a new go to,
because Starbucks has just launched their new energy
refreshers that the perfect drink for people like us
who post an afternoon show.

They got the dragon drink and now with the added boost
to caffeine and B vitamins, Rich.
So I rich is extra fired up today.
Plus you can try new flavors like mango strawberry
energy refresher or the mango dream.
They're bright, they're fruity, they're super refreshing
and it hits perfectly in the afternoon.
They really taste great.
We're having them in the studio right now.
We're actually enjoying them as we speak
and you guys can too.
Whatever flavor you like, Starbucks energy refreshers
are exactly what you need to power your day.
So when the afternoon slow down, kicks in.

On the serving pancakes podcast, conversations
about volleyball go beyond the court.
Today we have a little best friend compatibility test.
Okay.
How long have we been best friends for?
This is the day we met.
As the league won volleyball season heads
towards its final stretch,
there's no better time to tune in.
We really are like Ian and Yang, vodka and tequila.
You'll hear unfiltered analysis
behind the scene stories and conversations
with leaders making an impact across the sport.
Today, I'm going to talk to you guys
and I'm going to talk to you guys.
We're just making an impact across the sport.
Today, we have Logan Limeke.
I feel like our fan base in general is very connected.
It's like a comforting feeling getting to play at home.
Whether you're following the final push of love season
or just love the game,
serving pancakes brings you closer to the action
and the people shaping the future of volleyball.
Jordan Thompson had that microphone out.
We make mistakes or cuss at our coach.
Like we're talking more to you.
Open your free iHeartRadio app,
search serving pancakes and listen now.
This has been serving pancakes and will catch you on the flip side.
Okay.
Presented by Capital One,
founding partner of iHeartWomenSports.
By the way, not to kiss their ass,
but Starbucks sent over some of those refreshers.
That's why Rich is extra hyped up right now.
I think I caffeine in them.
Did you hear Rich power through that Starbucks commercial?
He didn't even let me say anything because he's so fired up.
He's so wound up bouncing around like ticker over there.
I know.
But these are fantastic.
So good.
Yeah, this one's really good.
Yeah, I got the pink one.
This.
I got the mango strawberry one.
What did you get Sammy?
This just I think that says right on it.
Some kind of berry.
We are Kavino and Rich live from the Fox Sports Radio studio.
Hey, say employee turnover slow down business.
Can you relax there, buddy?
Let me say Sam, the barista at a flirty message on the cup for you.
He says yum.
Ooh, ooh, ooh.
What does that mean?
That means he wants you.
Express employment pros.

Thank you.
Express pros.
And thank you.
Starbucks for these refreshers.
And I love your little tie in there, Sam.
She's got a ticket to ride.
Yeah, that's it.
You know who doesn't have a ticket?
Errol Siegel.
John Lovitz has a ticket, but no tickets for Errol Siegel.
Let's make it right.
And I think it's our duty as younger, somewhat younger people to help the old people along
here.
So we're fighting the fight for this guy, Errol, until the Dodgers make it right.
And I'm sure they will.
You're never going to get one of your parents to convert 100% to modern technology.
My dad's got an iPad.
He's got an iPhone.
He has all his streaming stuff set up.
But one thing, my dad, I think we'll never do is if we're like, you know, make it a bet
on something or you're wadering.
I'm like, Dad, then, Mom, you're a zelmy.
No.
Oh, yeah.
I'll send you a check.
Like send me a check.
No.
Am I dad?
I mean, I still have to do everything.
I believe that cash is king in a lot of ways still.
But it doesn't hit the same as it used to.
My dad is all about cash.
Yeah, yeah.
I gave him 500 and K.
Well, I'm like, dude, I don't know, man.
Why don't you just?
Yeah, they don't Venmo.
Sometimes people don't Venmo.
Sometimes workers, if you get worked on your house or a little errand here and there, that's
when it gets you.
They will give you a little deal for cash.
However, I've had people work on my house and I'm like, you guys want cash?
And like, no, you can sell a Venmo.
Like, I think it's plus the amount of the weenials don't even know how to give back change.
So when you give them cash, they don't know what to do with it.
That's true.
So we actually have a phone call about this ticket situation.
If you just joined us, we're Kavino Enrich.
And we're going to do last one standing this show.
Dan Biers here, the champion.
Danny G. Sam Spots here.
Last one standing for prizes.
Plus Fernando Mendoza.
But this old dude, 50 year season ticket holder for the Dodgers, Errol Siegel, was told that,
well, we can't print your tickets, sir.
And he can't do anything with his flip phone.
So he's sort of screwed.
But then he realized they actually do still print tickets.
So why can't they make this happen?
It's becoming a big story.
So your thoughts will take a quick phone call and move on.
Who do we got, Dan?
Yeah.
None other than Matt and Soulcow.
Yeah.
Matt, we were saying also how the Dodgers have such a great opportunity, whether it's through
like their partnership with T-Mobile or have one of their big star players hand this guy tickets.
I think there's an opportunity here.
Yes.
Spectrum does mobile phones as well.
What's up, man?
Guys.
As always, natural content backed by security.
Again, the voice impersonation killed me, whether it's the old guy or someone who's female,
just like how you just guys casually cut into that and out of that.
They also sound like they're the same person.
Thank you.
I appreciate the comment and the compliment.
But you know what's wild to me is that it's radio.
How are we like one of the only shows to do that?
Yeah.
It's radio.
You have the mind, right?
Danny G has old guys shoes in the background if you listen real close.
And then I just imagine like whoever does the female part, one of you guys are like actually
motioning your hands and so on and so forth.
Yeah.
Okay.
Again, for me, like I would think it's a certain age limit or someone for someone like this,
like just print out one of those classic ticket books, you know?
And you guys talk about Dan Byerbrothered Up, like there's something special about having
that kind of ticket like, for instance, my, my past, like if you look at all the programs
of games that we went to, like you open it up, you'll find out a cut out article,
the newspaper, but you'll also find out and find the ticket stuff in there.
Yeah.
I think there's just a classic nostalgia you can get behind it.
I think a franchise like the Dodger or any franchise with an older family like this,
just do something special for them.
Yeah.
Now I know there's, there's a lot of significance to the actual ticket stuff for that game.
But who was it, Rich?
We had a friend that had, it was like an ex something, an ex pro of something,
and he had like a, like a, a lifetime pass for something.
Do you remember that?
The baseball players get that.
They get their life.
They get a goal.
Maybe they give this dude the lifetime.
But who did we, was it Joe Bimel?
Who was it?
Yeah.
Nobody Bimel.
Was it?
Yeah.
I saw, I saw, I think it was someone recently.
They just give him one sort of thing and say, hey, here, dude.
This is what gets you in and out.
You know what I saw?
I saw a big cat from barstool recently asked Chase Outley, if that's true.
And Utley, I think I showed him.
I've seen it before.
I've seen or we've met somebody that had it.
Even though we're talking about it, if you played in the big leagues, apparently there's
a gold card you get where you could walk up to the ticket booth of any game at any time.
Yeah.
And you get two tickets for free for the rest of your life.
That's not just a urban legend.
That's for real.
So I'm sure they could work something out for this dude who has season tickets, but at the
same time, I'm sure they could also print them out.
Now we got to talk for Nando Mendoza before last one's standing.
No doubt.
It is a big story about him, but first an update from the great Dan by DB guys some action
going on on the diamonds right now in Queens, the Mets are on top of the diamond backs by
a score of two auction.
Two tickets now.
Two two.
Now the bases loaded two out double.
So they tied it up.
Sorry.
There was two nothing.
And now it's two two.
Mets had that two nothing lead heading into the top of the fifth, but the diamond backs
now have just evened up the white socks.
Lead the Orioles by a score of two to one.
That's in the eighth inning on Chicago Southside today in Cleveland.
Swung and ripped to right.
There's a base in.
Kephas around third.
We'll try to win it.
Thomas is thrown to the plate.
The slide.
Ball game over.
Safe at the plate as Kephas and Brian Roqueo with a walk off game winning single to
right.
The TAM 1100 in the Guardians Radio Network final score.
Guardians two.
Royals won.
As Cleveland picks up the win.
Cubs pitcher Cade Horton going to miss the rest of the season.
He needs Tommy John surgery.
Some news from college basketball North Carolina will be giving men's basketball coach Michael
Malone a six year deal worth $50 million.
That breaks down to $8.3 million annually.
It would make him the second highest paid coach, according to ESPN and college hoops.
Behind Kansas is Bill's self.
Potential number one overall pick.
Fernando Mendoza of the NFL draft will not attend the draft in Pittsburgh in person.
Instead he's going to be with family and friends at his hometown of Miami on draft
night.
In the NBA draft news, Texas Tech guard Christian Anderson and Lulele freshman guard.
Mike Elbron Jr.
Are entering the draft and tonight at the master's champions dinner.
Rory McElroy is the defending champion.
He gets to pick the menu tonight and was well asked about the menu choice and why he
didn't go.
Irish people keep asking me why didn't you go more Irish?
And I said because I want to enjoy the dinner as well.
The one guy loved that joke and Rory is going to tee off Thursday as the defending champion
at 1031 Eastern time at Augusta playing with Cameron Young in 18 year old US amateur champ
Mason Howell.
Guys back.
Actually, you know what?
I got two other things to tell you about.
First of all, does your afternoon need a boost?
Oh my goodness.
I'm getting one right now.
Does it try the new Starbucks energy refreshers?
The Starbucks refreshers you love now with an added boost of caffeine to power your afternoon.

They're really, really good.
Coming to that one.
Yeah, they're all just like here, but honestly go come grab my daughters buying those and
she doesn't give me any.
She doesn't get their really great one.
Yeah.
Starbucks is on something I'll tell you because I'm always a coffee guy.
I've never had one of these drinks at Starbucks.
I'm always like, I have a cold brew.
These are in the rotate.
There it is added to the rotation in April, fitting with baseball.
And Don Staley says she spoke with Geno Ariama says, all right.
It's time to move past what happened with the handshake or deal at the final four.
Now back to you guys.
Oh, how about now back to browser bond gave up another blue pit.
Mets are now down three to and almost runs are going to be charged to.
Peralta, who had a pretty decent start.
So they go, man, I'm so sorry, Rich.
Oh, why don't you cry about it?
You know what?
Well, why don't you cry like Yankee fans about soda?
We'll get to that.
We'll get to Mendoza and a bunch coming up.
We got CNR right here on Fox Sports Radio.

My parents are going to be mad, dude, you call them out with their jitterbug phone.
Hey, tell rich Davis, he could kiss my keys to for Easter.
Talking about my old guy phone.
My daddy, he don't take kindly to that, man.
So anyway, we're Kavino and Rich.
Shout out all the old people.
Don't go dying on me.
Live from the Fox Sports Radio studio.
And does your afternoon need a boost?
We'll try the new Starbucks energy refreshers.
If you're here and how giddy rich is today is because this guy's already wound up with the extra boost.
He's spinning in his chair as we speak.
Starbucks refreshers, you love now with the added boost to caffeine to power your afternoon.
Get your, I'm not sure you need that rich.

And it's time for our tie rack play of the day.
Michigan dominant all the way through the tournament kicks it out to McKinney.
Rich free of his defense launches a three and he hits.
Oh my, that could be the play of the night for Michigan.
In a mad scramble.
You can't deny it on one end turns into three on the other.
Now, Michigan, as you know, 16, 963.
I then cried during one shining moment.
And that close courtesy of Westwood won our tie rack play the day in front of 40 years tie racks
been helping customers find the right tires for how would and where they drive.
Ship by ship fast and free back by free road hazard protection convenient installation options like mobile tire installation.
Higher rack.com the way tired buying should be.
We got to talk about Fernando Mendoza.
Congrats again to Michigan and everyone who participated in the tournament.
Yeah.
The one shining moment montage was a little wack.
But other than that, great game last night.
Again, Michigan played a played a great game, 69 63.
Yeah, but Fernando Mendoza announced today that he won't be attending the end.
He'll be attending the NFL draft in Pittsburgh.
Now, no offense to Pittsburgh.
Been there.
Lovely.
But you know what else is cool?
Miami.
And you also school there.
The fact that his whole family is there.
He's a Cuban dude.
You know, pumped Cubans of Miami are about Fernando Mendoza.
And not only that, Fernando Mendoza not only tight with his family.
His close knit family.
But there's generations of Mendozas.
There was a story a few months ago that every four years or so,
it's like a World Cup.
The Mendozas get together for a family reunion.
And there's like over 800.
Some ridiculous.
Yeah.
I'm in profit now.
But I think there was like 800 Mendoza.
It was 800.
No, no, no.
The number was 800.
It was, right?
Because I saw there was an overhead picture.
They have to take a drone photo to fit all the Mendozas.
You don't think that's just as great of a party to be with all the Mendozas in Miami.
Then to be there with a bunch of strangers in Pittsburgh.
That's at least a couple hundred people asking him for a loan.
Well, that's and there's a lot of people.
You got like five grand.
You're the story you got to be there.
How do you see it?
Fox Sports Radio Nation.
I think it's, I think he's making an unpopular decision.
But a really heartfelt one.
I think this dude horse.
Some of the greatest memories and moments in your mind is Brett Farve and his jeans.
Chillin' with his family.
I know it was a different time.
That was a different way.
Rememberable moment.
That was an embarrassing moment.
No, but I'm saying it was okay then.
Why is it not okay today?
This is absurd.
It's terrible.
And I'll explain exactly why.
I think, I think Fernando Mendoza, you know what we're witnessing here?
Which is fantastic.
His first misstep.
I totally disagree.
I want to make that clear.
I disagree.
I think you've made it clear.
Okay.
Just slow down on the refresher.
We have more Kavino Richel Tayweiman.
Those are the buffoon.
And we got more next.
We'll play less one standing.
All coming up.
