Cameron Jordan Weighs Saints Return, Seeks Productive Role

With the NFL today, March 17, Cameron Jordan, the veteran defensive and, who spent his entire

career with the New Orleans Saints, is still a free agent a weekend.

He's one of the top unsigned players available, and his spot for next season is uncertain.

He gave a candid update on former teammate, Terran Armstead's podcast.

Jordan said he's open to a 16th season in New Orleans, but has a firm value in mind

for his worth.

While he loves the Saints and the city, Jordan's stress separating emotions from business.

Players like him have to focus on what they control, and loyalty only goes so far if the

deal doesn't fit.

He wants financial goals met along with a role where he can stay productive, just like

his 10 and a half sacks last season.

That setup might not happen in New Orleans.

For now, it's anyone's guess if Jordan returns to the Saints or lines up with a new team

for the first time.
