Canada Is Caught Between Trump and China
About this episode
The Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast - Bitcoin News With a Canadian Spin is made possible by:
Canada is getting closer to China while its relationship with the United States gets worse. Joey and Len question Ottawa’s defence dialogue with Beijing, react to the reported pause in U.S.–Canada antitrust cooperation, and ask why so much Canadian anger is pointed south.
Then it’s Quebec’s election-sign dispute, fraud allegations involving a Vancouver police officer, a happiness ranking the hosts aren’t buying, changing Ontario communities, and Germany’s immigration debate. We finish with Hamilton vs. Brampton: a pharmacist case and an alleged collision-shop insurance scam.
What should Canada’s priorities be when dealing with Washington and Beijing?

Yeah, Bitcoin mentor is a sponsor of the show, at least in theory. We have them in the description of the podcast. I would love for you guys who are thinking about hardware. I know a lot of you guys are. I am happy to answer any questions. Linda's happy to answer any questions. But we only have so much time. Nathan, Ben, Jesse, Mike, like these guys, you know, they will help you, Gary. They will help you set up a custody solution that really works long term. My friendly kid friendly inheritance, you name it, right? These guys have stuff that's really gone through a lot of consideration, especially over the last month or two, about what people need and what they want in terms of stock security. I don't know if we have like a discount code or whatever, but go there, use the link, tell me, sent you, you have to go with them a bit. I don't know. Sleep better at night, man. I think that's the lesson over the last of the wild is whatever it takes to get a good
night of sleep is what you should be doing, no matter the cost and Nathan, those guys will help you with that. So pay them a visit, btcmeditor.io and our code is in the description of the podcast. So what is asking if we can recommend a brand of dice? I think they're joking. A recommend. Really? Yeah, the thing is that if you have, so I will tell you that if you want to listen to something about entropy, that's really good. And I think when under the radar, the rock paper Bitcoin show from the week of the cold guard hack is probably the best thing I heard on entropy, on dice, and on just like kind of the whole situation. And my understanding is that if you roll even the most loaded dice from like a monopoly box or something that's just like, you know, from the 90s, there's no concern about how weighted they are. The answer is basically rolling the dice more. If you want to get rid of any potential bias in the outcome. So something is said, maybe a hundred times roll a hundred, roll 150 instead, you know,
takes you know. Yeah. So the cold card, I think only except a hundred rolls. So if you're going to roll more, it's the last hundred. I think it's a, it's a, it's a hundred. But it's only the last hundred. It's going to input. Oh, really? I didn't know that from what I understand. Interesting. For giving it from wrong. And you could even, if you want to, you could even build your own random number generator on a computer. So you can mix that in every like 10th or 15th or 20th or 20th. What is the name of the website where you can check the, where you can get RNG. Do you remember? There is a website now. And I can't remember. It's like a first name and last name. Maybe someone in the chat can tell me. But yeah, there's another RNG where you basically, the recommendation obviously is take a computer offline and then use the tool. And a lot of options out there, man, for RNG. Don't tell yourself short. You can do it. I'm 100% sure you can do it. So Canada and US, their relations, they're obviously cooling for the past of the while, right? It's a say to least. They're either heating up or cooling, depending on, you know, it's cool. I'm going to go with that.
And I'm not sure if you've seen some of the videos of sporting events in Canada, like at soccer matches or even I think WNBA games, people are booing and, you know, it's national anthem. Yeah. Ah, that's, and it can be just so fucking stupid anyway. I can't. Toronto, I've seen that the best player from what I was hearing is American. So you're trying to, I think the best player was Davies, Davies is Canadian, no? I got one. Maybe he's, I don't know. I don't follow it at all. Either way, there's going to be some Americans on all these teams. And you know, people are cheering the Toronto Blue Jays. There's a bunch of Americans on that team. So you know, and you say, did it with the Raptors. What I'm trying to get at is you're cheering the team that is loaded with Americans and it's disrespectful in a way to boo their anthem. Come on, man. Don't do that. But you know, we don't fucking want. I don't agree with it. Anyway, Wall Street Journal, they've been reporting that things are getting even cooler because the US, the Justice Department, their anti-trust division, they issued an
internal instruction telling officials that they are going to be dropping cross-border cooperation and policy engagement with Canadian authorities. So the exchange of information and stuff like that is probably going to be putting on pause. And this is going to be for the joint cases and policy issues that are going to be effectively ceasing for the time being. And this relationship, it ends decisions that were decades in reality. Like these things were going on for decades and at the decided of this fuck it. That's no longer do it. So I'm looking at this and then there's a second thing I see. There is a Canada China Defense Coordination dialogue that's going to be held in Canada. Not reported on anywhere except on Twitter. And this was done on September 4th and the two sides they had some in-depth views and international regional issues. I'm looking at this. You have the US stopping the cooperation and policy engagement. This wasn't done by Canada. This was done by the US. At least this was by an internal memo that was submitted. So if you believe that to be true and I do.
And then Canada going ahead and doing these coordination dialogues with China. It just it seems like this is just going the wrong direction. And you see these polls out there. People are looking at the United States as they're no longer our friends. There are enemies like come on man. They're talking about invasion. The questions that are coming out to some of US officials about debating Canada. Totally. This one thing that is not going to happen. They're not going to economically they may invade. You could culturally they may invade. But it's not going to be with tanks, bombs and bullets. No way in hell. Unless there is shit hits the fan. And I don't even know what's going to cause shit to hit the fan to reach to that level. But for people who even think this is reality. The United States. If any country is closely aligned to Canada, it is the United States. Not just geographically, but culturally. The language is almost identical. You can't talk the same to you could with say somebody from UK or Australia. Then you could with somebody from New York or Washington state or California.
Where the fuck you want it? We get all their music. We get their TV. We get their movies. It shapes our culture. Wouldn't we say like we don't like it? There are enemies. They're here. Come on man. You can give your head a shake. I don't get it. But whatever. Where do you come down on this Canada, China, whatever bilateral security thing at the same time when the trade agreement was called off. The same time when there's obviously this like now, we're not going to share information with the United States around security. Very, very bad news for us, man. Very, very bad news. But remember that sharing of information was spearheaded by the US. It wasn't a Canadian thing. It made a bit of a result of it. That's what I mean. Sorry. I should have been clear about that. But you can't tell me these things are not related. I simply will not believe that. I simply will not believe that. I don't think the CCP forced the additional Hail Mary in the Michigan Western Michigan game,
if you know you know. But the CCP is behind a lot of stuff going on. Why couldn't they be behind that? They must have put all the money in Western. They might have been inside. They might have been. I don't know. But it's okay. I'll get it with that. What, the Western Michigan thing? Did you see it? Come on. Crazy. Absolutely nuts. Absolutely nuts. Yeah. That's borderline. I'm not mentioning it. You'll never convince me that that shit is not rigged because Michigan was a two touchdown favorite and paid Western Michigan. I think a million and a half or two million to play that game. The way that the CFB works is basically you have to pay these lower tier teams to come and play against you to bolster your win lost record. Otherwise those teams, yeah, you know what I mean? Otherwise they'd play like somewhere else, right? Like Western Michigan has no interest in going to the big house and fucking playing against Underwood and the Wolverines, right? But they laid it on them and won that game fair and square. Anyway, that's where the app played from state game versus Michigan. Of course I have.
So that's enough. Of course I have. They just wanted to make sure that they didn't repeat the same Michigan loves losing big games. Is that the, that's the, the opener as Chris Weber. Chris Weber is a big part of that. You know, everyone remembers the timeout that that wasn't. Anyway, the China, the China Canada thing is infinitely fascinating and continues to be a developing story in the America, Canada relationship, you know, narrative. I got a lot of questions at this point, Len, about how any Canadian politician can say with a straight face that America is our biggest threat. I mean, our own prime minister during the campaign said the China was our biggest threat and now we're trying to align with them on trade, on culture, on everything else. You know, electric vehicles are coming over here. At the same time that America is saying Chinese made routers were stealing data from people. We talked about that on access to VZ a few weeks ago.
If you don't subscribe to that show, you ought to. This is stuff that I think most Canadians of any demographic, right? In regard to this, whether you're a boomer, exer, millennial, zoomer, they just don't know how deep the ties run between our country and the panda. And it feels to me a lot like we have become this vassal state for a broader conflict. Much like Ukraine is a vassal state for conflict between America and Russia. That's basically where we are. Our prime minister a little bit addressed in theirs, but that's a boat where the difference is end. We're both begging for money, both begging for clout and both a laughing stock on the international stage. So make it that way. Anybody that's against the US, I'd love to hear their playlist or see it and see how many songs are from artists that are. It's all Brian Adams. It's all Brian. Well, yeah. Yeah. And I want to see how many videos are going to be watching or TV shows that are US somehow
based or you know, I mean, and so if they don't because you get all the cart channels now in Canada, now we do have the best hit television show ever made, right? We have it. It's a trailer park. trailer park boys is the best program, best television program ever produced. There's nothing. And there's a close to that. Yeah, you go ask that only so long, I guess, before you go. Hi, maybe not. And so by the way, I'm one degree away from them. I know somebody that worked in the set. Come on. Season one. Yeah. And Corey Trevor and Julian, the whole line yards, you know, go them all. I mean, those those clips, I'm not a really big dude. He's a scroller, but I do scroll stuff before I go to sleep and I always stop on the trailer park boys stuff and watch it. It makes me laugh even 20 years later. You know what lately though, after seeing where there are loyalty lies in terms of telling people what they should be doing. I know. I know. After seeing that, I really haven't watched it. It's hard for me to say, oh man, because you know what, like when St. Louis Schwarzenegger, Howard Stern and like guys that I used to like love watching and listening to it can't
any more, man, it's just it's done. It's my view of these people changed. And it's going to come back because there's a provincial election going on there. I'm not sure if people are aware. I'm not really aware of it to be honest. I've been following it, but now I am because there was a party kept at quasi and that was put up and it was taken down by the Khan Awake people, somebody over there, I probably butchered a name of it. So the guy over there was angered that a Quebec political party would attempt to campaign in his community. And so we had a spokesperson from that community named his Kenneth Deere and he was talking and he said, I quote, I don't think anybody in this town is complaining about somebody going and taking the sign down. Okay, I get it. He also explained this is as per an article by CTV. Deere, who is by the way, I just want to say a spokesperson of this place, these individuals.
He says, he explains that the people are not Canadians or Quebecers and don't involve themselves in outside elections. Now I just want to point out earlier this year in April, 2026, Canada, the government of Canada decided to give these individuals to or the community, 2.5 million dollars are not part of Canada, apparently, but they got 2.5 million from Canada. And also the province of Quebec gave them $11 million for a new cultural and arts center. And also the 2.5 million from Canada was for a cultural and languages center in their area. So they're getting money from both the province, they're getting money from the government of Canada, from federally, but they say, according to this guy that they're not Canadians or Quebecers, what else can I say aside from just accelerate, yes, it's an acceleration and it's a very bad thing. I don't know what to say. I'm out of loss here. No matter, it seems to me, one of the best things about this show is that over the years,
we've been doing this show for whatever, 5 or 6 years at this point. Over the years, every week in this segment, we find something dumber than the week before. And it's always a step from the week before. And so it's like every week, the line is not necessarily straight up into the right. There's some flat weeks or whatever, but it never gets better in the clown world section, definitely not in the Canadian clown world section. And here we go again with another bear. It never ends. It never ends. We could go ahead and we could talk about one of Vancouver's finest, Vancouver Police Constable, Calwinder, Dossange. This is not some rookie that was on the forest. This guy was a veteran of 26 years. And he was also quite involved. He was a founder of the Kids Play Youth Foundation. Well, Buddy was arrested following a lengthy two and a half year investigation and the department did their own investigation. And total of nine charges were laid against Dossange, four counts of fraud over $5,000,
four counts of theft over $5,000 and a single count of breach of trust by a public officer. There's also a co-accused individual, Sarah G. Singill. And he was also charged with related counts of fraud and theft. The chief Steve Rice said the investigation has identified at least 19 victims so far. And the total financial losses total more than $3 million. This was done over quite a long period of time from 2017 to 2025. And it took place in Vancouver, Surrey and other parts of British Columbia. And lawyers representing Dossange issued a statement saying these things, these charges may not appear to be holding lawyers. What's the lawyer's name? Don't have the lawyer's name. We're having a visual. We got a picture. No, no. Yeah. Mr. Dossange has committed no crime and is innocent of any wrongdoing. An arrest or a report of an arrest has occurred is not evidence of guilt, misconduct or criminal
responsibility. And he remains in custody before earlier court appearances. Yeah, here we go. Who gets a longer sentence? Mr. whatever, Winbender, Doe Johns or Lindsey Clancy? Who gets a longer jail sentence? Clancy. You think? I can't see a way around this. She had a mistrial once already. But that's a mistrial. It means it was a hung jury. Yeah, they'll run it again. Yeah. I'm not sure exactly how it works in the States. But if they do it again and again and you keep getting hung jurors, hung juries, does it just come to a point where it will be decided by judge? I don't know. Is that how it works? I don't know if it's by state or by federally, I don't know how it would work over there. But I guess that's what would eventually happen because they'd have to have some sort of punishment or no punishment issued. They can just kind of have this. But she's stuck in jail. That's the one thing. As long as it's, you know, she's not a free person. Also, like paralyzed and whatever else.
Anyway, this guy here, our buddy, the police officer and his co-conspirator. I mean, what can we say? On this program, I think we've been trying not let the beers talk for me here. We've been very kind to immigrants from the 80s and 90s and very hard on immigrants from 2015 to today. And when I see stories like this of a guy who's working the police force for 26 years, it is disheartening because there's so much vitriol and unfortunately, some academic data behind this idea that culture and value systems are very durable over many, many, many generations in a way that no country could ever hope to have people disengage with vis-a-vis, like,
you know, I always say the same thing. Like Nike, McDonald's, and cruise missiles. Like, they're not going to unseat these long-sleeved people. They're not going to be able to understand these long-sleeved people. And I think this is a very, very, very important thing to understand. I think the reason why I'm standing, tendencies predispositions. And when I see stories like this, the big question for me, I think more than how did this happen, or like, why did it happen? The big question for me is why did it take two years to investigate this guy? Two years seems like a very long time to find him guilty of what you say. This is done internally and it's done covertly. So they had to make sure to get all the evidence. They're investigating one of their own, right? Yeah. And so I can understand the secrecy and I can understand the thoroughness they needed to be involved. It's not like they could just send them home and say, buddy, you know, there is a problem. There is a problem here, right? Like, there is an issue with, there's an issue with that culture in this country. It's becoming more prevalent and more, I think, more well-known.
Maybe in the Normandy circles as well. You know, looking at some of the tweets around the AFD, when in Germany, from Canadians. And, you know, I won't share names, but some of the people who like my sort of most harsh tweets, there's a lot of people thinking this way now about cultural differences that are just irreconcilable. And this might be an example of one, unfortunately. A kudos to the Vancouver PD for taking care of this, right? God only knows. This is probably unpopular at the highest levels. As it is any time, the police department has to investigate one of their own, right? Regardless of ethnicity, background, immigration status, all these things. It's very difficult for police departments to find someone in their ranks guilty of misconduct. Doesn't matter how serious, how severe. And it's like, he's an older guy. He's been on the porch for decades. I saw the story. I saw the story. Yeah. And so, like, it's fucked up. And every time you see a story like this, and there's been several, and Toronto we've had.
And also, so I think other police forces like Mrs. Aga, they've suspended officers because of potential wrongdoing. And anytime something like this happens, the trust, the public trust in the police force, it gets eroded. And you know, once you do that enough times, and then you don't trust them, and you don't believe them. And just, oh, man, it's. I want to say, I want to say, I didn't mention this like a month ago when it happened. I keep forgetting, but I'll mention now some, I mind. We're not talking about all, you know, Indian, Pakistani police officers. And I want to maybe like a melancholy happy trails here to. Officer, but in Hamilton, BUTT. And the reason anyone knows who this guy is or was unfortunately. Because his full. Yeah, I think I think you committed suicide. Which is I think like more common in policing than maybe a lot of other professions. The reason anyone knows this guy is because his father, E.J.A.S.
But is a sort of like every cycle mayoral candidate. I think he was the. He either was or is the president of the local like cow driver union, whatever that. Whatever that organization is or whatever letters represent that group. And it's just like a good guy. E.J.A.S. what's a good guy? If you're if you're from Hamilton and you're my age, like if you're born in the 80s or 90s. And you haven't gotten a ride home from Hess Village from E.J.A.S. But like you're missing out on a on like a key Hamilton experience. He drives around with his mayor mayor sign on his cab like well for E.J.A.S. Or whatever and you know when his son passed away. I saw a lot of comments on Twitter about how the guy should never have been here. You know, he's not a Canadian. And like I find that distasteful and discomforting. And I think overall just very off putting an offensive because E.J.A.S. and his family have been here a long time.
They're good Canadians, good Hamiltonians. And I think sometimes I won't speak for you, but I'm guilty of saying things on this show and other shows that maybe paint me in the light of someone who's like anti-Indian. I'm anything but no pun intended. I want to be supportive of people who have done the right thing for their community and done the right thing for their families and become part of the fabric of the places in which I live and work and raise my kids. And E.J.A.S. has done that. So it was his family. And you know, he's embraced kind of the silly name he has as far as Canadian naming conventions go. And his son, you know, was a police officer. I wish done the best. We didn't talk about this when it happened, but I kind of meant to bring it up. And this is a good opportunity to do it. So, you know, rest in peace to the men and you know, all the calm of mind that we can give to E.J.A.S. and his family. We are not anti-one diaspora on this show. We are anti-aditude. And this guy was anything but that attitude.
So we wish him the best. I think that the attitude though it's saying that Canadians are very happy because if you look at the ledger happiness index, it's incredible, incredible segue, almost impossible to segue from that to this. I have some stories. I figured I wish the best one the segue too. And this is it. So the story of an article from Canada Post says that Canadians are happier now that they have been four years. And I had no idea that was the case that Canadians are happy now than they were in the past. According to this ledger happiness index, Canada's national average happiness score, whatever that may be, it climbed to 70.5 out of 100. And that is up from 68.7 in the previous year. And it also indicate that fewer Canadians are showing a decline in their well-being compared to past metrics. And this is showing that it's a time that things are being re-bounding to post or sorry, the pre-pandemic stability.
Quebec is the happiest province and is followed by Newfoundland, New Brunswick. And then Ontario is in the middle of the pack. And as for cities, Joy, the three highest cities according to this is Montreal, followed by Brampton and then followed by Toronto. Brampton? No. And this is going to be... What could make an argument this could be Stockholm syndrome? You have salary, you're not going to be pleased with it. What's going up there, you have CARTHAT, you're telling people to leave the keys. By the front door, don't engage with anybody that's intruding in your home. People driving the wrong way in streets, where the cost of food is going significantly higher. And people are using food banks, high unemployment, especially amongst the use. The list goes on and on. I don't know how the fuck people can say they're happier now than they were in previous years. But here we go, they were able to... If you're asking people who came from places where you had to carry water from the well to your house on your fucking head across a high wire, right, instead of building a bridge, then yeah.
Things are better. Those people are going to be happier. I think it's telling that the national average happiness acronym is NA, because are you happier? The answer should be NA, then you were three or four years ago. You can't afford your house, you can't afford your food, there's more crime, your current churns is up, your house insurance is up, your property taxes are up, your most populous cities have mayors that are closer to Mao than Jefferson. And now on top of that, you have this unlimited budget from the federal government to give to media organizations for Prada about the AFD in Germany, about the Americans in the United States, about trade deals, about currencies, about all this shit. And by the way, at the same time, the Bank of Canada, what are they spending their fucking money on, putting King Charles on the bill, this guy is going to be dead in two years, bro. Like he's got one foot in the grave, another foot on a banana peel, and we're printing currency with this guy on it.
For fucking what? Put the birds back on the currency. Like do a single thing right for once. And I will note that to see Brampton land in the list of the happiest cities, it tells you everything you need to know, it tells you everything you need to know, sir. Like very happy. So that's shocker. They're literally in fucking parking lot, shooting fireworks at each other for whatever Indian Independence Day. Like come on. What are we serious about this? Come on. Somebody posted a picture of the rickshaws that they have in all the, like that are famous. Yeah, man, that's that's. Can you imagine? Can you minding it back up pickup trucks? So I don't remember if we talked about this, the coberg thing. Coberg, Ontario, home with a big apple, you know, it's on the way to Muscoca. If you get a cottage up there. No, it's not on a way to miss it. It's different. It's on a way that to like Peter Burrow and you got it.
You got it. But you have to drive through there. Let's take the 407. You take that part of the highway. How, I mean, if you're coming from Hamilton, it's a, it's a hell of a detour to go through. Is it? Is it a little misscord? Yeah. Maybe you're right. Anyway, when I was in university, I dated a girl from coberg for a long time. Emily, great girl. And she, you know, when I, when I first started going there to visit her, she lived with her father at the time, you know, like the city was alien to me. This like small town feel. Everything was walkable. There was like a handful of restaurants, handful of bars. Everyone knew each other. I thought it was weird coming from Hamilton. And I saw this story maybe a month ago about how coberg has been basically overrun by immigrants and fentanyls zombies. And I, I, you know, I would never message an ex-girlfriend, but man, what I love to be a fly on the wall at dinner,
at, you know, Emily's father's house, asking, you know, where he's asking what happened to this like small community driven area, local, that basically turned this place upside down in, I don't know, what, 15 years, 14 years, something like that. And I think a lot of small towns in Ontario are thinking this way now, right? So just small towns, Joey, it's all the big towns are too busy to notice until it's too late, but the small towns are not. Small towns, I think, are more acutely aware of what's happening. Then maybe like Hamilton, Toronto Oakville, Burlington, whatever, right? That's fair, but it doesn't mean it doesn't happen to the same, the same, uh, experience it does with the small towns. You mentioned a time frame, 15 years, I lived in Toronto for about half my life. Yeah. And you know, when we moved to, when I was young to a different part of Toronto, it was initially was one, you know, you could leave your doors unlocked and everything.
15, 20 years later, like it wasn't the same. And then I eventually moved out, I was able to, to move to where I am now. So it's just, you know, I've seen it happen in a very short period of time. And I've just seen this happen now on a more of a broader scale, not just here, like in Canada, but also all over the world. It's other countries as well as experiencing it. And as a result, you see what happened in Germany with the elections now that they have elected a government, which is the first right wing government they said to this degree. Right wing, you know, air quotes on that, but yeah. And they call this right wing is because they have a, they're talking about immigration in a way that hasn't been talked about by previous governments. It's the way that we talk about it and the way that most common sense people talk about it, that people who are in the country not adding anything to the fabric of society have to be removed, simple as, you know, not hard. They want to see benefits cut to migrants agree totally agree. If you come to the country, you shouldn't benefits period in the story.
Things like, you know, saying that saying that there is a moral judgment that needs to be passed on people and places before they decide who's allowed to come here. Of course, the third world is not a place, Len. It is a people and there is no magic fix for that. And, you know, I think more and more people need to start waking up to this reality. And, and to hear, you know, the way the media is reported on this, saying stuff like Germany shocked by far right parties success. Germany wasn't shocked. There was 76 or 77% turnout for that election, which is fucking insane. And half the votes went to that party. There's seven parties running after them went to that party. The only thing that stopped the AFD from getting a majority was the mail and ballots counted after the polls closed. Make it that what you will. Everyone is pushing back on this now the UK obviously just had this giant black mask rally.
The fact of the matter is that if you take people. Again, like it's so hard not to be offensive with these comments, but you almost have no choice. If you take people from countries who have, you know, museums where there are cups, leaning against sticks and bring them to places that have museums where there's things like mathematics and aqua ducks and, you know, trading companies and things of this nature like these people will not mesh. Period in a story. There is such thing as a bell curve. There is such thing as a moral judgment to be made on people in places. There is such thing as, you know, cultural differences that are irreconcilable. These things are very durable through long lines of family through long lines of inhabitants and jurisdictional footing.
They are not going away. I think most people in the first world realize this now. They want something different. There is going to be uprisings whether political, whether it's a ballot box, whether it's protests, whether it's whatever. All over the place. At the end of the day, what have we always said on the show? Whether it's about immigration or economic policy or trade policy or whatever. You and me always say the same thing. The only people who don't see it are the people who are insulated from it. And, you know, as that insulation gets thinner and thinner, more and more people will agree with this. There's actually a really good academic research paper from, I guess, 2017, I think, that basically says, if you want to see far right parties, gain footing in your country, just increase immigration. That's all you have to do. Places where there's more immigrants, you see more far right footing. Make it that what you will. I would say the far right is anything but 50% of the boat. That's just mainstream at that point.
You know, and don't get me wrong as much as I agree with the AFD policy setting. There are people in that party who I think are bad for the party. There's a young fella who threw up the Nazi salute at an interview following the election win. And every left-wing commentator here, Britain, Germany, you name it in many different languages saying this is the party you just elected. The problem that the left has at this point is that whether that kid threw up the Nazi salute or not, you would have called him a Nazi anyway. And so the word has lost meaning. The critique has lost meaning. You've done this to yourself in a lot of ways. You know, in Italy, Joey, they elected four years ago, almost four years ago, Georgia Malone. Malone. And they said that she was like very much like Mussolini. That's the destiny painted her. Just last week, a milestone was hit. Her government is now the longest-serving government ever in the Italian Republic.
Go figure. So they've made it up. Making that what you will. The other thing is that I think like the, again, this is a problem unique to the left in a lot of ways because the right refuses to rule like they are willing to yield power or real power, I should say, story for another time. But the thing is that the left now has to contend with this idea that most people in the democracy that they're that they find themselves in want this kind of policy. They want the size of measures against immigration against Islam against, you know, against Indian diaspora, whatever. They're going to get it. That's what the majority wants. That's what democracy is. You can't outlaw people. The AFD, I don't know if you know this, the AFD is viewed by the German government as a extremist group. Like, well, they just fucking won an election. Like, they're going to win. If you have a national election and don't cheat, they're going to win. And what are you going to do? Not give them the reins.
You're not going to do it. It's worth mentioning that the CDU, the Christian party, who is ruling Germany now, who they say, who they identify as, you know, a center right. They're not talking about internally. This is the leak from the telegraph today. They're internally discussing things like language requirements for citizens, language requirements for immigrants, reducing supports for immigrants. Like, the over-ten window is moving so fast, man. And I think even in Bitcoin, you know, it's fun to tweet about this stuff. But, man, the real, the real hardship in societies doesn't come from change. It comes from the speed of the change. And so, you don't necessarily want, I see, you know, I see, uh, Crypt 10 V, and the chat talking about PPC gaining popularity. You would like to see PPC gain popularity on sort of a steady incline or steady, uh, steady growth rate. The, uh, the, uh, whatever this party was in Germany, just one, they doubled their representation election to election.
That is a quick, quick change in support. Um, and again, do you know what stopped them from getting a majority besides the mail and ballots? The only, uh, demographic group age wise that didn't vote for them was 70 plus story happening all over the modern world, right? It's funny because given when they were born, right, the ruins of World War II and they were built up and, but they don't know then they're a moral plan. Yeah, they're also the first, no, no, no, they're also the first and only generation to value, um, like the evening news. That, that's all, that was like the thing for them growing up and they haven't, they haven't broken from that and it shows it's just the exposure. The force feeding of Western and you know, I'm saying United States culture. Yeah, you know what I mean? I wonder they could just, unfortunately, it just seems to be, they've lost that, right? I don't know the identity of United States and whatever it is what it is. You know what, let's go to the Hamilton versus.
Yeah, let's do it. Brought to you by 256 heat, Tuan, uh, making some changes to his set up to speak to account for BIP 110's failure. Love that from Tuan, always on top of things. And of course, Len, uh, did you happen to go outside today? Only got to about 22 or 23 degrees. We are trending down in terms of temperature. I mean, you also be playing tennis and golf until December, probably and wearing shorts to work. That's fine. But most of us are looking for a way to heat our homes for a couple extra bucks in our pockets. Tuan is the guy who should call about that. He's got a million different units and variations of units and setups you can use. And there's nobody better than Tuan in terms of security for your transaction. And of course, you never see Tuan in the leaks. Uh, and obviously the white glove service that, uh, that we love both Tuan so much. 256, 256, he dot com telling me sent you, uh, maybe a bit of this count. Plus he will make sure that whatever you get from him is not just some, you know, cookie cutter, uh, easy solution.
He will walk you through what he's got based on your, uh, needs and make sure that you're satisfied at the end of the day, which is important for us over here at CBP. So with the Hamilton versus Brampton, man, here's the segment that everybody got a close chat. Did you get these from Willheim again? Oh, yes, of course. I'm just, I mentioned a big thanks to Willheim for providing these stories. I'm thinking about just taking my headphones off and waiting for you done talking and just throw it there. The first story is Burlington, Brampton, whatever. Second one is, I don't know. I'm out of ideas. I'm out of ideas. You got a story here. Number one, a pharmacist has had his license revoked after allegedly scamming a drug company pharmacist. He's a good tell. This is God. This feels it feels almost too easy already. This is a trademark of his stories. Well, it's just a sky scam. The, uh, the insurance companies that bought multi-million dollar mansion and high end cars. So between June 2017 and February 2018. So not quite a year.
A pharmacist allegedly submitted fake prescriptions for drugs that were never dispensed at his pharmacy. And according to a lawsuit filed by AstraZeneca Canada, Canada, the drug store allegedly filed claims for prescriptions using real or forged patient information. And the fake transcripts improved included anti-psychotic, psychotic drugs called Serocl. And reports indicate that the scheme, the scheme cost of AstraZeneca $7.7 million through its reimbursement program, even though the pharmacy only purchased around $5,000 worth of the medication. That's quite a discrepancy. And the lawsuit alleges that he used the money to buy a very expensive home and luxury cars. And he was able, and he was ordered to pay 35,000 in fines as well as 80,000 in cost. And also unfortunately, the dude picked up and left Canada.
It's over. It's already over. It's already over. I got it. The judge will hide the order of the pharmacist. The judge ordered a pharmacist to pay $7.4 million in damages. They froze his assets in Canada. Apparently he's living the high life. He had condos in Aruba range over to whole nine yards. And yeah, that's that's number one. Oh, condo in Aruba. Okay. Interesting. All right. So number two, we have cops execute a warrant against two collision centers charges three people in connection with insurance fraud scheme. So please have executed this search warrant against these two collision centers. And because they're apparently doing these insurance fraud and so far three local men ages 39, 48 and 67 have been arrested. And police believe the collision repair shop were hiring quote unquote chasers to go after accidents scenes and collision reporting centers to drum up business and help inflate the cost and defried insurance companies.
I love that music. It's time for me to hang the laundry. So the charges have not yet been proven in court, but the insurance bureau of Canada and police say the investigation began after the 73 year old driver was flagged down on a city street by a chaser after a driver left the collision reporting center for a minor collision. And police say the chaser advised the 73 year old that the vehicle was unsafe to drive and the chaser he worked for the collision company, the collision repair company. He said that he would not only take care of the driver's car, but also repair it. But they put the person in a rental vehicle. When insurance adjust your tent at the auto shop body, the additional jamages on the vehicle have were not there before when the collision occurred. So extra damages on the side to make it look like it was a bigger thing. And yeah, then the end that these guys, they were apparently they're doing some big things over there. So yeah, so these three people were in charge were charged with scamming insurance companies. And that still has to go through the courts to figure out if this is indeed true or not.
So we have number one ripping off the insurance companies for an AstraZeneca for pharmaceutical for some drugs. And the second we have those three chaps doing the insurance fraud with collision centers. So which one is the Hamilton, which one is the Brampton man. Len, I love, I love that the Brampton man almost always a pharmacist almost always, you know, if you go to a pharmacy in southern Ontario Southwest Ontario, like you're going to get most of the time of Brampton man. The problem is that the scam is maybe not quite what you want it to be for the Brampton man to be the guest. Meanwhile, the insurance one where they're doing extra damage to the car. That is like super fucking low IQ third world shit. Oh, like, it's fucking the game. I'm rid of this door. See what happens like we got this guy got an offender vendor. You've got a fucking busted side driver side passenger.
You come to the guy, you know, a minor fender by the way. What the hell is the actual fucking broken? It's a bad idea. I don't know. I feel like there's also like a degree of extremes here that the Hamilton man is willing to go to compared to the Brampton man is more prepared for the rest of the day. I'm scared for the extreme scam. And I think it feels like the auto body scam is more extreme than the pharmacy scam. Also, you also you said, buddy, from the pharmacy went to a rubah. Right? He fled the room. Oh, he has a place is in a rubah, but yeah, it's a he fled to a country. But you know, you know where you are, but you not tell me. That was the other that was the other big hang up I had is like where did he go a guy fled the country. Yeah. He had a range over two.
I'm going to I'm going to go with the Indian guy being the pharmacist. The Brampton guys are. It's the pharmacist. The Brampton guys are pharmacist. Yeah, give me that please. And you're right. You're right. So, but he is an Egyptian. Oh, okay. Yeah, so there you go. So he is still got it still counts still counts. Yeah. Yeah. So let's see if I got the name here. Yeah, saddock is his name. Fuck. Samay Saddick. I love it. I still got it. It's still count. It's like you are. I don't know. Yeah. I think he is. I think he is. But to each his home country of Egypt and his assets were seized are frozen in Canada. And so yeah. Unless there's an extradition clause we have with Egypt. He's going to be stuck there for rest of his life. And or who knows where he's going to go enjoy the pyramids. Enjoy the pyramids. Yeah. That's it. We're out of here. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. We'll hire. I'm sorry about your luck tonight. I am back on. I'm not going to buy it anymore. We will see you guys next week for more on a CVV in the meantime.
