Brianne Dressen is a former preschool teacher, mother of two, and founder of the nonprofit React19, dedicated to supporting individuals suffering from long-term adverse effects following COVID-19 vaccination. A high-achieving professional who earned her Bachelor of Science in communications at age 20 and became the youngest project manager in her company’s history, Brianne has long been passionate about helping marginalized communities, particularly children with developmental challenges. After participating in a clinical trial for the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in 2020, she experienced severe and life-altering neurological and systemic symptoms that left her bedridden for months and searching for answers. As her condition gradually improved with support from institutions like the National Institutes of Health, she became a leading advocate for others facing similar struggles, pushing for recognition, research, and medical support. In response to the growing number of affected individuals and lack of institutional action, she founded React19, a science-based nonprofit focused on funding research and providing support for the vaccine-injured community, while advocating for greater clinical recognition—including efforts that contributed to the proposed ICD-10 diagnostic code for COVID-19 vaccine adverse effects.
