For the fourth year running, they've hit a new enrollment high. This past fall semester, they had 7,063 students across all their campuses and learning centers. That's a solid trend, showing they're doing something right. A big chunk of that increase, almost 10%, is coming from high school students taking advantage of dual credit programs. This includes students in over 86 high schools, even home schoolers. It's a smart move for those kids to get a head start on college credits. The college president, Dr. Matt Gachal, pointed out that the full-time equivalent enrollment is up about 3.7% compared to last year. He really highlighted how much that dual credit push is contributing to the overall numbers. It's not just general enrollment, either. Student-based programs are booming.
