Ja: 春の暖かい日でした。
En: It was a warm spring day.
Ja: 上野公園では、桜祭りが行われていました。
En: At Ueno Park, there was a cherry blossom festival taking place.
Ja: ピンク色の花びらが風に揺れ、人々はシートを広げて楽しそうにおしゃべりしていました。
En: The pink petals swayed in the wind, and people spread out their mats and happily chatted.
Ja: 遥は幼なじみの和樹と友人の結衣と一緒に公園に来ていました。
En: Haru had come to the park with her childhood friend Kazuki and her friend Yui.
Ja: 毎年の桜祭りを楽しみにしている遥。
En: Haru looked forward to the cherry blossom festival every year.
Ja: しかし、今年は少し違いました。
En: However, this year was a bit different.
Ja: 最近、彼女は貧血と診断されましたが、そのことを友達にまだ話していません。

En: Yui prepared and handed out rice balls and drinks to everyone.

En: "Are you alright?
Ja: 遥、顔が少し青いけど…」和樹が心配そうに言いました。
En: Haru, your face looks a bit pale..." Kazuki said worriedly.
Ja: 「うん、大丈夫だよ。
En: "Yeah, I'm fine.
Ja: ただの疲れかも。
En: Maybe just a bit tired."
Ja: 」遥は笑顔を作ります。
En: Haru forced a smile.
Ja: でも、本当は少し頭がクラクラしていました。
En: But in reality, she was feeling a bit dizzy.
Ja: 人々は桜の美しさに感動し、写真を撮ったり、笑い声が溢れていました。
En: People were moved by the beauty of the cherry blossoms, taking photos and laughing joyfully.
Ja: 遥もその中に溶け込みたいと思っていました。
En: Haru wanted to blend in with them.
Ja: しかし、時間が経つにつれて、遥の体調は悪化しました。
En: However, as time passed, Haru's condition worsened.
Ja: 足元がふらつきます。
En: She wobbled on her feet.
Ja: そして、とうとう彼女は立っていられなくなり、地面に膝をつきました。

En: "I'm sorry, actually... it's anemia..." Haru said in a faint voice.
Ja: 「それなら早く言ってよ！
En: "If that's the case, you should have told us sooner!
Ja: 一緒に乗り越えよう。
En: We'll get through this together."
Ja: 」結衣は優しく肩を抱きました。
En: Yui gently embraced her shoulder.
Ja: 和樹はすぐに飲み物を取ってきて、彼女に渡します。
En: Kazuki quickly brought a drink for her.
Ja: 「大丈夫、僕たちがいるから。
En: "It's okay, we're here for you."
Ja: 」3人は日陰の桜の下に移動し、静かに休みました。
En: The three of them moved to the shade under the cherry trees to rest quietly.
Ja: 結衣は柔らかい毛布を広げ、みんなでくつろぎます。
En: Yui spread out a soft blanket, and they all relaxed together.
