every day. Welcome in, chiefs. Kingdom. I appreciate you joining us. I'm Ryan Tracy. You found a rogue analytics and performance consulting NFL33.com, nerdierfootball.com. This is your bonus for today. And I want to take a difference in on what we've been doing with my direct Monday. It is Monday. So in this bonus episode, we're going to take a look at it from a different tool with a different outcome and just jump right into the drafting as we are on the hot track right now. We're going to use mock draft database this time using Kansas City will pick up to five rounds because I think that's all we're going to have time for today. I want to go fast. So I'm putting it on fast and we're going to jump into the room and see what it looks like. This is a different tool, obviously, that functions a little bit differently. I'm going to try to get the zoom right so you all can see it. If you're listening on audio, make sure you go back and check it out on video because you'll be able to see the screen. I'm not going to pre-draft trade.
I know that's going to come up and we're going to focus on that on the weeks leading up to the draft. But right now, we're going to stamp out. We're going to start this thing off and see what it does. And it looks pretty cake, pretty chalk to me. Mendoza goes for sunny styles to the jets. Second, didn't see that coming. Now we know to the Cardinals, Bailey, Reese, Fano, and Bane to the commanders with lemon going just before us. What we have on the board, and everybody was losing their minds over Jeremiah Love until Kenneth Walker came in. So we can't go there at this point. Cardinals takes the best wide receiver on the board. They have Downs is the best safety. Mansor to Lane is here as well. And we just took Jordan Tyson in our main show today. If you missed that, go back and check that out. So the question becomes very simple. Do we go DB with Delane? Dan's number one, my number two on the board for this, or do we go carnal tape?
I don't think Tate's skills are necessarily a perfect fit for Kansas City, but I think they could have the best grade on him when he comes up at this pick. So I think we should go ahead and go for it and get a different kind of receiver onto this roster. See what comes. Buffalo wants to trade in what is an absolutely terrible offer. Same thing with Minnesota, Caroline is not even close, and honestly, neither is Baltimore two picks to move back 25 is not what I'm here for. So back on the board here, we are at 29 and we need to get an edge pressure at this point. I'm not seeing as much volume as I would like to have, and that is a problem. What we've seen recently, Faulk just went proctor Cedeek before him, Woods Cooper, I can know before that, except you know, how did go. So I'm not seeing my guy, I messed it or who might be lower on this particular, oh no,
he went at 15. Good Lord. Okay. That kind of surprises me. So there's only one guy left. CJ Parker and TJ Parker and TJ Parker and yes, we are sitting at 29 and he is a little bit lower than that. And then is definitely tantalizing here to take, but I don't think we can do that. We have to come out with an edge. That is a theme. So we're going to put TJ Parker under this roster. I'm in Minnesota with another bad trade deal and we are back on at 40 and I want to see what happened just before here because that is important to have the context. Thomas Dunker, Bell, Branch went, Price, Derek Moore went, that's a little early for him, but he is in my next year along with Zion Young, so that makes sense to him in the last until 30, just to pick behind us. So at 40, we're on the clock. Now, Kayne McDonald is my number one defensive tackle, still remains there. The Hunter would be my number three, both guys on the board here as we pick at 40.
That is tempting to go detackle. Now, Kyle Lawrence is rising up boards and I have him coming up as well. Nealized hours is going to be the next tight end that can really get something done for this team, but I don't think he's going to be there when we pick next. And that's the hard part, not a trade back in sight on this particular simulation. So we're going to take Chuck. We're going to do what we can do. We're going to, but Kayne McDonald onto this roster and see what we get. A number of picks coming off the board as we go. We get down, we have five offers at 74. Dallas is interesting. We would pick up a fifth and a couple for next year by moving back 18. I don't think I want to do that. Definitely not Washington and definitely not Tampa or. Cowboys. Okay, so here we are and we got lucky. And I think this is really, really critical.
Lucky is a part of this and on this board. Despite having DeAngelo Ponce, who I really like. Despite having Dominique Orange. He's kind of a local guy as well as a good player who would be a thought, but we just took a tackle. He lost hours is the number two tight end in this class and we need to take him. And that puts us on our way to our next pick. So what we're going to do. We get back is get as much value as we possibly can starting at 109. College basketball is nonstop big games tight spreads momentum swings every single night. From early tip off to the late night west coast action shootouts. There's always action on the board and you can get in there. And now, Fando was giving you a way to turn that energy into even bigger potential wins with college basketball parlay profit boost right here. We're looking at every aspect of the draft to let you know which tasty flavors are the best and which ones might be sleepers. The board is set. The flavors are ready and the only one is going to take that top spot. My favorite thing about five hour energies that gives you that boost with zero sugar. So I get the pick me up and I don't have that sugar crash later. And that's what I need for absolute certainty. So all you got to do is get into the flavor of it, whether you want confetti craze or fruity brain bow cotton candy. All of them make sure that you get what you're looking for. I personally consider a little bit of everything what I'm looking for. I like cotton candy. So that's probably what I picked the day.
That's why you want to be there. And that's probably where I'd put it right at the top of the draft right now. You can do the same. Find your new flavor at five hour energy. Those shots are available only on a five hour energy dot com or Amazon. And we are back on the clock. This is definitely a different way to look at the draft as we come up on 109 with four picks remaining. We have the white receiver, the edge and the detackle all three guys that are at the top of my board. Really happy with that. Stowers would be the number two. And I think that's a great selection in 74. I don't think he makes it that far in reality. But now we have to start taking a look. And corners being highlighted here by this system. Even also, I think. While has some traits at the chiefs like I think rivers may be a better better fit. It's not quite the the pick in terms of value versus the ranking that you're looking for.
But I think we should change it up a little bit. And let's try putting rivers onto this roster. See what we can get there and come back down as we drift down to our next selection. And it does work out that there are a couple of players that I think really fit here. In particular, Zayn Durant as another past Russian defense attacker like thicken up that DT group. He's a guy that is not only one of the premier athletes at the position. Was very, very productive as well, a little bit undersized. But can play with great leverage. He can break some gaps. And I think he showed at the comment that he's worth the fire here at 146. So we're going to grab him as well. So we're evening out what we have. So again, we end up with corner now another defensive lineman. And I like that they put line because he can move outside when he needs to. We have picks like eight picks apart here coming up that we want to look. I think primarily at at depth at at DB and depth at offensive tackle.
I don't think running backs in our in our best interest. But hey, maybe that's the way it goes. And you know, maybe this is just going to end up being a D line kind of scenario because at this pick, I think the practice worth taking a flyer on. And you know, you're just going to fill out the defensive tackle spots and not have to worry about that going forward. We're not going to trade out a 176 at this point, because we're just about done this draft. Keep trying now on to be interesting at the running back position. I have mentioned him before. And I do think that we have to go get something that can help us in another way. Possibly online. I want to look at who's available. Again, Cole Peyton, if somebody has been sticking out recently. Cruz, I think is a is a backup level player as much as I like to see another jack on this roster. I don't think that's going to happen. Follow if I'm possibly. Nobody really standing out. So I think what is the most straightforward is probably not.
Trey Zoon, I think I think Roomba can kind of expose him a little bit. But he does fit the mold if we're trying to provide another backup for Jalen. I think maybe that's the way to go. Just trying to make sure I don't overlook anything here for you guys, because I want to make sure we're on it. I want to do something different. So we're going to take the tackle. We're going to even out that room and call it what it is. Filling gaps, making sure that we take players where they're valuable, and where they can help this roster. And it certainly seems like we did. Carl T.J. Parker, Kaden McDonald, Eli Stowers, Chandler Rivers, Zane Durant, Kaden Proctor, back-to-back DTs in on the last pick for Trey Zoon, somebody that can backup it off, it's a tackle wheel. So that's where we're at today. I hope you guys enjoyed. Let's know what you think of the shorter bonus segments. We'd love to get some feedback on those. And I'd like to know what you think of this draft. Thanks for joining me today. And we'll catch you tomorrow.
