Now's the news. I'm Ken Lut. Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in New Delhi for the 18th Brick Summit in India. The trip is at the invitation of the Indian Prime Minister. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has described the BRICS as the most important platform for solidarity and cooperation among emerging markets and developing countries. So it's a quite busy schedule here, but a lot of discussion will be focusing on science
and technology. And remember, innovation is definitely a cure. Chinese Foreign Ministry said that BRICS is a platform for solidarity and cooperation. And BRICS members looking forward to using this opportunity to boost cooperation among global self. China's Southern Airlines says it is resuming regular passenger flights between Guangzhou and New Delhi, starting September 21. The marks the restart of the airline's Indian service after a six-year pause. After arriving in Guangzhou from the Indian capital, passengers will be able to access other destinations, including Melbourne, Tokyo and Shanghai. The US ambassador to Canada's trip to a town on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks has drawn criticism from Canadians amid trade tensions between the North American neighbours.
