Civil Servant's Social Media Posts Under Scrutiny

On May 1st, a home office civil-servered name Attica Ramon is running for the Green Party in Birmingham's

Tisley and Hay Mills Ward next week. He's worked there nearly three years, even overseeing the

Rwanda deportation treaty. Now he's under investigation for social media posts that question

his political neutrality. Earlier this year, Ramon reacted with a laughing emoji to a LinkedIn

post-morning Israeli deaths from the October 7th attacks. He also liked post-supporting Palestinian

liberation, condemning memorials as political, and claiming Israel-funded UK riots. His

activity shows criticism of both conservative and labor leaders. He liked calls, branding

former Home Secretary Suella Braverman evil, and post-slamming government immigration rules

as cruel or fear, mongering. Braverman called it outrageous sabotage of border policies,

vowing reform UK would fix the civil service. The home office confirmed their probing for breaches

of the civil service code on impartiality. Meanwhile, the Green Party is reviewing his posts,
