The Cleveland Browns are bolstering their special teams unit by signing safety, Daniel Thomas.
This 27-year-old player spent last season with the Detroit Lions, where he suited up for
12 games and made two starts.
Thomas locked heavy time on special teams, handling 69% of those snaps, along with 14% on
defense.
A fifth-round draft pick back in 2020, he spent his first five years with the Jacksonville
Jaguars before moving to Detroit.
Across 83 career games with six starts, Thomas has three passes defense, one interception,
and 94 tackles, and this move could give Cleveland a reliable depth option right away.
