Cleveland Browns' Cornerback Draft Buzz

On April 2nd, Cleveland Browns fans, Mott Dress for 2026, Gacha locked in on why receivers

and offensive tackles with those, first round picks at 6th and 24th overall.

That's the clear play since left tackle and receiver spots scream need louder than

anybody else's roster holes.

But heads up, there's fresh buzz building for cornerbacks on day 2.

Experts keep sliding names like Brandon Sissy, Colton Hood, or even Keith Abney the

2nd into spots like 24th, 39th or 70th overall.

It's not the top priority, but the smoke's stick enough to notice.

Denzel wards still elite, Tyson Campbell's holding it down after that Jaguar straight,

and Martin Emerson juniors out there unsigned from his 20th, 22 draft class.

Still, Campbell's soft tissue injury history got folks wondering if depths really solid,

and GM Andrew Berry might test the waters early.

After Indiana's D'Angelo Ponds, who lit up pro day this week with scouts from all

32 teams watching, he's under size at under 5 foot 9 and 102 pounds, but clocked a 4.3

140 yard dash, maybe even 4 point, 2 8 in training.

If Berry buys the hype, Ponds could slide right into that 39th pick as a day 2 steel,

pairing speed and sticky coverage with the value 2.

Fix any secondary wobbles long term.
